Was staying close by with my wife for a theatre trip and popped in bar tender remembered our order from earlier in the day. Really friendly and fast service. Thanks Kryz will be back again.

Reservamos una mesa de 6 a cerebrate final de un intenso verano en 12:30. Dieron la entrantes bastante rápido, pero esperamos 50 minutos para los platos principales restantes. Nos dijeron que el servidor que necesitamos ir que nuestra hora de almuerzo. Nos esperábamos los aperitivos y bebidas se agitó como un buen gesto, pero aún así nos cobran por ella. El lugar estaba lleno de personas que aún no habían servido en el momento en que la izquierda en una hora. Es poco probable que volveremos. Claramente, el 50% de descuento lunes era demasiado para manejar, pero si ese es el caso, ¿por qué ponerlo en el menú?

He sido un cliente habitual en este pub por 5 años y no me puedo creer cómo este pub ha ido cuesta abajo.Evacuaron el director y 3 gran barman en Pedro, Pedro y Carlos y los remplazos no tienen el concepto sobre cómo hacer que la gente se sienta bienvenida o incluso sonreír. El DJ y Karaoke antes tenía la bomba de la ajetreada que ha estado, pero por alguna razón, este ha dejado que también ha resultado tener ningún cliente nuevo inthem.Es el único pub de Londres en los que he estado en mucho tiempo donde pararse en un vacío y todavía lleva pub 1 minuto para servirte. terrible

Nothing remarkable from this chain, but a very efficient establishment doing what it does very well. Nice 'clean' atmosphere. Plenty of room, & seating. Large range of drinks. Enjoyed our visit.

No tengo palabras para describir lo que fue una experiencia horrible. Sin duda nunca visite este lugar nunca. . . . Éramos un grupo de 6 personas y cuando llegamos, el lugar estaba vacío, excepto por algunas personas para beber su almuerzo. Nunca nos saludaron, nuestra existencia nunca incluso reconoció, bien excepto por lo que supongo que fue camarera que volcamos los ojos y miró cuando llamé para ella. Estuvimos allí por 20 minutos y vimos la camarera ir detrás de la barra y argumentar con lo que supongo que era el gerente acerca de algo o de otro tipo. Fue una experiencia surrealista. Un establecimiento central de Londres sin ser conscientes de las necesidades de la clientela, que se piensa, pero no aquí.Reservamos una mesa para 4 por 12. 30:00h, pero nos dijeron que al llegar a sentarse donde nos gustó de una manera distante. Así lo hicimos, y esperó. . Y esperamos.. . Por 25 minutos antes de ser pedido nuestro pedido, nos dijeron que dos de las cosas que queríamos no estaban disponibles (setas y halloumi - así que mala suerte si eres vegetariano). Tener finalmente ordenados fue otra 10 minutos antes de nuestras bebidas llegamos (y estaban equivocados). Y luego. . Más esperando. Por más de una hora y media antes del primer plato fue prácticamente tirado a la mesa (una segunda opción de rodajas jalapeno). Y entonces nada nuevo, hasta alterado y con hambre y con una reunión para llegar a las 2 p.m., pedimos la factura para las bebidas. Qué generosos que no cobren la jalapeños que realmente no quería en primer lugar. No se produjo hasta la factura nos dijeron que había una espera de 45 minutos para la comida. ¿Por qué? En el centro de Londres? A la hora del almuerzo? Ninguna explicación o disculpa, no hay comunicación. ¿Por qué no el camarero informarnos cuando tomó nuestra orden, así que podríamos haber hecho una decisión de si o no? Cada vez mejor, ¿por qué no él decirnos que cuando llegamos, incluso antes de sentarnos?No éramos los únicos. Al menos una mesa se levantó y la izquierda después de esperar tanto tiempo. Nuestra experiencia mostró una falta de comunicación y de gestión. Trabajadores de oficina necesita buena comida, es rápido - más que una hora de espera es excesivo; tenemos la suerte de que nuestra oficina es flexible, pero estoy seguro de que muchos otros no lo son. No esperes una experiencia de Michelin, pero educado, personal muy cordial y hacer todos los platos disponibles, se anunciaba un comienzo.

Por el camarero para servir a todos nosotros.El pobre joven que quería hamburguesas vegetarianas y sólo sirvieron de última sirve porque la guía encontramos el camarero y preguntó donde su comida era.Se quedaron sin tomate y nos sirvió salsa barbacoa pensando que eran lo suficientemente tonto pensar que era inglés de tomate. Una pequeña porción de pescado y patatas fritas.El grupo estaba indignado en este restaurante la tour co. Para nuestra cena de despedida organizado.Muchos otros restaurantes en Londres comer en para evitar este.

Extremadamente lleno restaurante/pub, si se puede llamar cualquiera de aquellos. Un servicio nonplussed todo y peor que la comida normal. Llevamos la libertad de cambiar algunos de los platos. Pollo a la parrilla, aves o hamburguesa hamburguesa = salchichas y puré = bangers y smash (si eso era real me volveré a comer papas mi sombrero! Sin sabor por lo menos) Delhi Nueva Delhi hamburguesa hamburguesa = (no te sientas genial después), aros de cebolla = el sándwich aceitosa y anillos steak sandwich más cursi = molten boot preparado duro. Nadie se acercaba a preguntar cómo nuestras comidas eran, supongo que ya sabía la respuesta. Sha no volveré nunca.

Fuimos como parte de un cocktail de despedida para su clase. No nos dimos cuenta que hubiera el bar toda para nosotros! ! Fue super buena relación calidad-precio que nos dieron comida, burbujas, hicimos nuestro cóctel y una oportunidad. Los chicos que eran muy serviciales.Mucho más divertido de lo que habíamos pensado

Fui con un grupo de amigos en la noche del miércoles (vino) para bebidas cumpleaños. Llamé una semana antes para reservar una zona y me dijeron que iban a comprobar y volver a llamar. No así que llamé de nuevo y me dijeron que me enviarían un correo electrónico de confirmación que no lo hicieron.Cuando aterricé no tenían conocimiento de mi reserva y tuvimos que reordenar algunas mesas. apresuradamente Señaló que la falta de cualquier disculpa. Entonces tuvimos que esperar unos 15 minutos en el bar, como sólo había una camarera que sirve. Le pregunté si tenía una lista de los vinos incluidos en vino a la que ella contestó miércoles sí, pero en realidad no me dejaron tener uno, así que tuvimos que pedir más directamente. Finalmente nos sentamos y felizmente todo con bebidas. Recomiendo pedir más de una ronda a la vez si no quieres gastar un gran trozo de la noche esperando a ser servidos.Un poco más tarde, fui a pedir uno de cada una de las 3 fuentes que tienen en el menú me dijeron que 2 de ellos (el asiático y los nachos) no estaban disponibles. Presumiblemente, la mayoría de estos vienen congeladas y cómo puedes salir de nachos? ! Es una pena porque el bar tiene un ambiente agradable y las bebidas son buenas, cuando finalmente logramos conseguir uno.No me tomaría mucho para conseguir este bar a la altura pero no parecía ser una apatía subyacente.

Bebidas buena comida horrible como poco en vidrio en mi envoltura. Mi información a ellos pero incluso después me contacté para decir que tengo un problema con mis dientes no me han contactado de vuelta. Muy grosero y nunca volveré allí de nuevo. Estoy esperando tratamiento para mi diente!

I have visited the Slug and Lettuce in Fetter Lane on numerous occasions and found the food and service to be of an average level but thought it is what it is.We arranged a leaving lunch for 6 of us and thought that the Slug and Lettuce, Fetter Lane would be a perfect choice as the food is reasonably priced and there are different choices for everyone.We were very disappointed to find that quite a few of the food and drink items were not available due to lack of stock but all managed to select something to eat and drink. The table was laid with toilet handtowels rather than serviettes which we found a little strange!When the food arrived every dish was burnt (black in most cases). As we didn't have time for the order to be re-cooked (this was offered) we had to eat the burnt offerings. Not great. The waiter was as good as he could be and did arrange for a 50% discount along with a bottle of prosecco for us.Not the best experience and did dampen the celebration. Not going to rush back here.

We visited here for lunchtime drinks / food today. We waited ages before being even being offered a menu (which we had to ask for). The Menu seems to have reduced significantly since my last visit in December. Food took an age to arrive and I can honestly say it didn't look in the least bit appetising when it did appear !Dried up slither of possibly a lemon - which looked like some one had sucked all the juice from and some bizarre dried out green sludge on the side of my plate which I presume was mushy peas. The scampi was on the verge of burnt and the chips - well I couldn't give them away! Chef wasn't sure whether they had any southern fried chicken and the alternative of chicken and bacon wrap was cooked into next week. took another 20 odd minutes to get a bill and we were on the verge of doing a runner after waiting that time again to pay. All together a rather disappointing visit :-(To be fair 2 table staff really isn't enough for a Friday lunchtime!

It is rare that I am so negative about a place I visit but our experience here was very poor. We arrived in the afternoon to an empty pub. We counted just 7 other customers. We ordered our food and was told it would take up to 45 minutes as the chef was off and a manager was the acting cook! Yet the pub was empty. Fortunately, it arrived in half the time. Whilst we waited, 4 members of (the kitchen/serving?) staff stood at the end of the bar and chatted. So we used serviettes to clean the sticky table top ourselves. If one staff member had been on "customer alert" maybe s/he would have popped over to clean the table for us. We checked the knives and forks laid out on the table and all were stained and not properly cleaned. So we pushed them into a pile to one side. When the food arrived the fish and chips were "bland" with soggy batter. The curry had been over microwaved and the chicken pieces hard. Maybe the manager should be given training on how to cook basic food and how to use the microwave. S/he is clearly unable to set an example. Thank goodness it was "Half price Monday". I suppose you get what you pay for. After the food was laid before us we asked for clean knives and forks. They arrived without comment and the pile of dirty knives and forks ignored, left on the table and not taken away. I suppose the chat at the bar was more important than customer service and satisfaction. Previous reviews are far more positive than mine, so we are clearly out of sync with others. But will we return? Never. Will we recommend? Never. Will the staff care? Of course not.

Had a great night in S&L on Friday evening. Sometimes a bit of a wait at the bar, but the staff are always very courteous.Basically, ended up getting very smashed and leaving my jacket behind, containing key and headphones.I popped in this Monday afternoon to find they had my jacket with everything intact.Relief was followed by admiration for good, honest and hardworking staff.Thanks again.

Went here for lunch a few days ago with work. I went for the southern fried chicken strips and skinny fries the chicken strips were hard and the chips were so under-cooked. My colleague had a burger which he enjoyed.The service is quite slow, and one particular waitress was extremely miserable and rudeShame as I have had good experiences at other Slug and Lettuce branches.

I had a late lunch here during the working week. The menu is varied, but is basically pub grub. I had scampi and chips. It's reasonably priced for the City. The staff are friendly and attentive. The only thing that bothered me was that the music was too loud for me. There's lots of space there too so you haven't got people walking past bumping your chair every 5 mins.

What a lovely place to visit during lunch hours. Really enjoyed the service by the waiter/waitress . Food was very nice, love the beetroot hummus they do. My favourite part was desert the apple crumble pie was marvellous .They do really good promotions 241 on deserts and 50% off all dishes on Monday. Will defiantly come again.

Lunch with work colleagues during a busy period at work - just the place for the team to relax and have some great food. I ordered the Asian sharing platter (with a friend). It was lovely....all the food was hot and tasted great. The atmosphere was lively, and to top it off, the food is half price on Mondays!

J'ai visité le Slug and Lettuce plusieurs fois avec un groupe scolaire et à chaque fois, nous avons été satisfaits de notre repas de midi. Il est déjà très simple de réserver en ligne et même d'envoyer le choix des plats en avance pour faciliter le service. La salle est très grande et cosy. Le service est rapide et efficace. Dans l'assiette, des plats à partager, des plats sans gluten, des plats végétariens aussi. Le lundi, c'est moitié prix alors quand on hésite à prendre un dessert, la question ne se pose même pas. On fonce. J'ai conseillé ce restaurant à plusieurs amis qui visitaient Londres et ils ont vraiment apprécié les tarifs avantageux du lundi .

I have visited the S&L fairly often over the years with friends as it usually delivers on all levels. However on this last visit, I was disappointed. The waiter got my order completely wrong. The pub was only half-full so it wasn't as if they were overly busy. When the plate I did order (Asian noodle salad with chicken & pepper skewers) finally arrived I wasn't impressed. The plate was mainly full of salad leaves, not much in the way of noodles and the chicken was rubbery. Unacceptable really considering the price charged.

Visited this restaurant twice and both times had a friendly welcome from the same waitress, who remembered us. Place seemed quiet on both occasssions but seemed to have a "tick-over" trade. Reasonably priced food to an acceptable standard. Clean but interior starting to look a bit tired, and gents toilets are down a flight of stairs, although the ladies is "on the level". Entrance steps are a bit off putting, but they do have a step lift for disabled access.

This is round the corner from work, so we come regularly, but tonight Nicola excelled herself - we booked for a baby shower/leaving do & she couldn't have been more helpful . to be fair all the staff were lovely, but Nicola went out of her way to ensure a great night night, bless her! Thank you x

We popped in here for lunch - it wasn't very busy so we were served quite quickly, although it soon started filling up. We just had a snack lunch of breaded mushrooms and potato wedges with cheese and bacon, but it was delicious and the staff were all very friendly. Would go again if we were in that vicinity.

Me and my work colleagues have been there for having a leaving lunch. Food was quite nice, we ordered plenty of food, and none of it was disappointing. Salads are very nice. Burgers were quite noce as well (not better than Byron surely). However, we enjoyed the place. Waitresses were also friendly.

Came here for a work Christmas dinner. Waiters worked well to deal with the number of people we had, But we all preordered and they had to call names.We had a 19£ deal. Starter, main dessert and wine.Much starter was the soup and two small pieces of read stick. Didn't taste different to sainsbury's tomato and basil soup.Prawn cocktail was three prawns and some cheap bread.Mains.Aged steak looked like the sleeve of my boyfriend's jacket.The roasted vegetable tart was tasty, but served with water-pesto-sauce.Roast turkey was thin, with watery gravy.The salmon was rated "7/10, but i haven't eaten salmon in ages"Vegetables were rough. Over cooked.Dessert.Christmas cake small and poorly presented. Cheesecake was tasty, but just cut from the Iceland bulk buy section.Profiterole was a chocolate mess, bit amazing.Wine was good for included price.Overall, i wish i took photos to display disappointment, but it's worth coming for a small group meal. Group meals? Avoid like the watery black gravy they will be served to you. You can cook better at home, although may not get the free party hats.

Was welcomed warmly and very promptly shown to our table. The waitress was very attentive and the food was lovely. The wine wednesday they offer is a really good deal and even applies to the prosecco! Where in London can you get a nice bottle of prosecco for £11 (normally £19)! Plus 2-4-1 on cocktails.....Would definately recommend and will be now a firm favourite. With the contemporary look and feel i can not fault the place. Thank you!

This is a great place to have a lunch and drink a cocktail after shopping. I would recommend their martini cocktails and salads. A very friendly place.

Having recently moved to London, I find the service a bit hit and miss in the sense that you never get genuine service, more people being false trying to get tips out of you. When I visit this venue I find the staff genuinely friendly. Normally always somebody to greet you as you enter and guide you to your seat. A huge selection of food to choose from and great wines, especially on Wednesday's - always my favourite day as stunning wines for only £11.45 per bottle. Special mention for Paula and the guy with greying hair behind the bar who are always super friendly and seem happy to see you - wish all bars in London were the same!

I don't know what the servers here are paid but whatever it is it is not enough. I have never been so warmly received in any other pub in London and I consider them my friends.

Was here for lunch with friend and their kids and the place was really good. Value for money and good ambiance and quick service is its usp. You also get a cool discount when you are part of the Sandemans free walking tour. Very decent menu and would surely recommend.

This is a busy Pub. They have a decent menu consisting of Brit, Indian and Mexican food. The food portions are large and tasty. Service is quick. We were a group of about 20 people and we were served efficiently and quickly. Nice Pub to sip a drink or dine.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff for looking after us. Booked very last minute for a colleague's leaving party. A good area was arranged for us and we were looked after by Paula, our waitress. She was friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Will certainly be returning as this is fast becoming our go to bar after work.

I visit this place regularly for lunch as the service is reliable and friendly without being overbearing. Mondays are usually very busy for lunch due to an amazing 50% off deal but you usually still get a table. I like the wine deal which is now on a Thursday - get a great bottle of Gavi Di Gavi for just £11.45 - bargain. Staff usually very happy to see you too which is nice in this part of London, just makes you feel like more than a customer. They usually get our drinks ready without us asking (maybe we come to often). Overall a nice relaxing place to meet up after work or during lunch with very affordable prices - keeps us coming back

I enjoy visiting this place as it is convenient for me to go to from work. If you visit on a lunch time it can be very busy especially on Mondays and Friday's. Service is always quick and easy and food does not take too long to arrive. Evenings are good, always get a table and there is always an offer on to make it worth your while.

We use this branch time and time again due to the friendly staff and ability to book an area in advance. The ultimate platters are great and feed so many and the cocktails are really tasty at a bargain 241 price. Great offers throughout the week and helpful manager who is very helpful

When you work in central London there are no shortage of charming independent pubs with fantastic ranges of real ales and locally sourced food. There are also plenty of rich folk who are able to afford all of that nonsense. On a normal persons salary, when you have to pay a fortune on your mortgage and thousands for a tube ticket, we have to settle for chain pubs like the Slug and Lettuce who sell decent food and drink at affordable prices.I have visited my fair share of chain pubs and this is a fine example - lovely high ceilings - a funky mirrored bar and plenty of seating. Everything is clean, plrices are good and staff are friendly - difficult to see how things could get any better!I must confess, we are big fans of Tommy, the manager, who used to run the Slug opposite our office, so when the regular Slug & Lettuce "try our new menu" opportunity came around, we were only too happy to visit and find out if he had done as well here as he did before. I'd never visited before so I cant say if things have improved or not - but the service really was excellent.It is very easy and very common for a chain pub to offer chain service, where the staff go through the motions with no real enthusiasm. I'm happy to say that the Slug at Fetter Lane is not that kind of place!

Stop number four, and after our other experiences this was a let down, a modern pub with little atmosphere, although the prices and selection of beers was good.We didn't stop long and I for one would not rush back

Whilst walking round London on a bitterly cold day we were desperate to sit down and have a hot drink. We were passing this Slug and Lettuce and I persuaded my husband to stop. It is not the type of place we would normally go for coffee but I was so cold we had to stop then. We were so surprised - pleasantly I hasten to add. A warm welcome as we went in and then shown to a table which was cleaned before we sat down. This was so good to see as fed up with sitting at cleared tables which are not then cleaned. Drinks and food came very quickly and the service was excellent.Visit to the toilets was another surprise they were so clean and tidy. All in all a very different experience the one we were expecting.

I visited the Slug and Lettuce Fetter Lane over Christmas and would like to say that Tommy was excellent. He helped me plan my staff party from start to finish which took all the stress away from me.On the night itself, the area Tommy had set aside was perfect; very festive, the staff on the bar were fast, efficient and always had a smile on their faces, especially considering how busy they were, as the bar was packed with other Christmas parties.The food arrived on time and looking amazing. The night itself was fantastic - I cannot recommend this bar enough. Tommy and his team are a testament to the company and I will definitely be coming back.Many ThanksDR

I am used to using Slug and Lettuce as they are dotted all around London but feel this venue is better than most! Fairly big in size can accommodate large bookings for lunch or big groups for parties after work. Great deals on all the time and always friendly service by the staff. Good selection of Beers and Wines. Nice Decor adds to the experience. Highly recommend the Italian Style Chicken - delicious

Held works Christmas lunch at the Slug & Lettuce with over 20 people attending. Promptly sitted and drinks order taken. Food was pre ordered which helped being a large group. Service was good and everyone enjoyed our food. Good value, clearly worth a visit.

Visited whilst in London on business. Really comfortable and 'upmarket' feel to the place. Staff very friendly and welcoming and excellent cocktails. Tasty well cooked food. All really good, a better class of slug a day lettuce! Will definitely return

Have not visited this place for about 6 months - stopped visiting due to poor service - what a difference - pleasant staff who seem happy to serve you. Food was quick and tasted delicious - Chicken Souvlaki and Parma Ham with Chicken - both delicious and then take advantage of a great wine deal and 2-4-1 desserts was well worth the visit. Atmosphere was good too - music at the right levels, candles on the tables. Both staff who served us were friendly and attentive - I think the lady's name was Paula and the receipt said Tommy - well done keep up the good work!

Visited this pub with some work colleagues on a Monday lunchtime. The place was busy, as in there were no available tables, but not over crowded. Food was excellent and it didn't take long for it to be served. Would definitely eat here again.

Treated a friend to the fisherman's platter and a glass of wine during our one hour lunch break.On arrival the staff ignored us for five minutes and when we asked to sit in a banquette it took another five minutes before they realised the table needed to be laid. Plenty of staff were available but they weren't customer focused.Someone came to take our order then took 10 minutes to deliver our drinks. A table that had been seated after us were served their drinks before us! The food take a long time to arrive and was terrible. It was all over cooked and really greasy. We ordered the same platter in another branch 2 weeks previously and it was much better.None of the staff were paying attention so it took ages for someone to realise we needed to pay our bill and leave.A very disappointing experience and not recommended.

Myself & my girlfriend visited this fine pub on a Monday afternoon it's 50% off all food on Mondays it wasn't too crowded on our visit ... I had the 10oz Ribeye steak with fries & onion rings I had my steak medium rare it was succulent , juicy & delicious . My girlfriend had the classic burger with chips with coleslaw on the side ... It's my second visit to this pub I would highly recommend it , The food is delicious , prices reasonable , great atmosphere & polite friendly smiling staff .........

My friends and I went here for a nice relaxing evening drink and ended up having a pretty crazy night, but that is another story. The Slug and Lettuce is a good place to get cheap and strong cocktails in a fun atmosphere that is great for groups. However, the service was absolutely atrocious though. We got there around 8pm and they tried to kick us out an hour before closing time. It was ridiculous. The two servers left tried turning off the lights and eventually told us that we needed to finish our drinks and get out. Needless to say, they didn't get a tip. Being a server, I understand that it can be frustrating when people stay longer that you want them to, but that is just part of the job and to be expected. I could understand if it was past closing time, but it was far from it. These girls just seemed to want to start their own night out and weren't going to let us get in the way of it. Other than the lousy service, the Slug and Lettuce was a good pick, I might check out some of the other locations to see if they have better service.

I was in the city roaming around as it was a nice day and went into Slug and Lettuce. The food was fast but not that impressive but as it was a Tuesday the food was half price and the Cocktails..... So I was not complaining.No one was in there so we had the restaurant to ourselves which was great. The waitress was patient and polite but the food was made with no effort.I will try a different area next time.

This place is worth a quick drink after work but nothing more.While most of the staff are nice the others are less then impressive.Unhappy staff moaning about customers within earshot is never a good thing, even more so when the member of staff notices that the customer is watching and listening

The restaurant was very clean and the service was polite, attentive and fast. The Chilli con Carne was adequate but powder not chiliies and though OK was nothing to write home about. My friend seemed to be served better with her healthy flat bread. Price reasonable but I feel that the formula food that they sell needs to taste more made than reheated. The staff are lovely but in this competitive world I think that the chain needs to up its game slightly.

Uma boa opção pois eh um local grande e os pubs da cidade sempre estão cheios nesse horário (entre 19h e 20h). Passei por uns 4 estabelecimentos e encontrei mesa disponível aqui.

Popped in here for lunch with a friend and ordered a chicken, bacon and avocado salad. It came out and the chicken looked incredibly low standard and grey in colour. When I touched it, the chicken was lukewarm. As a seven month pregnant lady there was no way that I was risking eating his as we all know chicken should either be cooked and served cold, or served hot. Reheated lukewarm grey chicken is not something anybody would want to eat! When I asked for something else from somebody I think was the manager, she seemed very put out and offered to "heat it up a bit more". Shocking. I asked for a veggie salad and that was nice enough, and dessert was nice. I was also surprised that lime cordial was charged at £2.40 when a glass bottle of coke was only £2.30.... They charged it as "6 dashes of cordial".All in all, I was very disappointed. The other staff were much more efficient than the manager on shift.

This isn't a classy place but the service is fine the food is good value (50% off on Mondays too).There is a regular happy hour which includes cocktails.It can get very busy but it is a good place to go for a drink.

Its a slug and lettuce,so it does exactly what it says on the tin...not great,but very much ok...........visit any slug on a monday and all food is half price so it is a real bargain!!

Table service from a very quick and friendly waitress. Only disappointment was that she was slow to bring our bill so we just missed a train from nearby City Thameslink.Burgers were excellent but I am not sure i would have wanted to pay full price. We had a 50% voucher and 25% vouchers seem to be fairly easy to come by.Pecan pie very tasty - and 2-4-1 desserts made it good value as well.Nice pint of London Pride - shame (as always) that soft drinks have to be so expensive.

Good wine selection. Table service, better than just a pub. The food for the price is very good value and the service from our waitress was outstanding. Recommend for a light business lunch with familiar clients or friends.

I love the Manchester Didsbury branch, it is so modern and clean cut and it looks quite a trendy restaurant/bar. The Fetter Lane branch is very much like a wetherspoons and doesn't quite have the contemporary style that some of the others have.Saying that, as every the food was good grub for a reasonably priced dish and it wouldn't stop me going! The breaded mushrooms were actually better than some of the other branches i have been too. Would like more bbq sauce on the ultimate burger though please :)very friendly helpful staff as always

My work colleagues and I have been going to The Slug on Fetter Lane for several years now. The service is friendly if slow - but this is only due to the fact that they are understaffed constantly. The kitchen however is a royal disaster. The food quality has gone down the tubes over the last two years and not only is it mediocre, the quantities are skimpy and we waited one full hour for a salad (didn't have to cook it) and lasagne (already prepared on a big tray). We were the first in the restaurant before it quickly became full. Everyone in the restaurant who came after us were served first. It was a scandal as the kitchen simply cannot keep up once there are more than four tables full. To their credit, they were so embarrassed by the kitchen screw up, they offered us the meal complimentary, as we had no time then to eat it and had to return to work. We do come every week and as they were graceful about it, we return. Someone in HR at Slug should staff these places up on busy lunch hours.
