The Sleeper Store in Hastings

Love this place, been coming since it opened. Amazing bagels - the crispy capers were a revelation. Friendly service, also dog friendly- can’t recommend Sleeper highly enough.

We found this gem online and thought the bagels looked superb, we weren't wrong. We popped over for breakfast one day, I had the 'everything bagel' with cream cheese, pepper and lemon. My partner had the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Both were excellent and the service was good and fast. The texture of the bagel was perfect and they seeds were lovely. They also didn't scrimp on the fillings! Went back a few days later for another cream cheese and a sausage & egg one, both excellent again. Can't wait to be back in Hastings to try these again.

Fantastic site made bagels: flavour, texture, dressings (sesame delicious) with great quality locally sourced fillings. My smoked salmon was bursting with fish, cream cheese, sweet onion and deep fried capers… amazing explosion of flavours! Warm welcome from owners, felt like nice place to eat in although I had take out (which was very well wrapped and packed). Highly recommended.

We were looking for a bite to eat for breakfast and we were so pleased to have found The Sleeper Store. Absolutely exquisite, freshly baked bagels filled with top quality fillings. There were four bagel options and we asked which bagel would be the best match to our chosen filling (there were a great choice of fillings too). We were not disappointed and left with a smiles on our faces. Finally, we thought they were great value for money too. Supper friendly and a lovely vibe too. Can you open a shop in Cambridge please?

A great new spot for bagels on Kings Road - lovely fillings and the bagels which they make themselves are fantastic too.
