Terrible service, overpriced and just a waste of a good plot.

FOOD POISING- AVOID! 7 of us went for a bottomless brunch and 4 of us were violent sick at least 7-10 times. 2 girls didn’t even make it out the venue and were sick on the terrace. We go for bottomless brunches very often and can all handle our alcohol but this was a very usual situation. Food was not great either and they took our food away before we could even finish (in hindsight I’m glad we didn’t eat any more of it). In the end we spent £75 on 4 cocktails, a few bites of food and every single one of us felt sick or were sick. Also one of the girls ordered the veggie burger and was given beef, totally negligent. I now have a long term bowel disease thanks to this venue. I was totally fine before but have been in hospital receiving treatment ever since. The venue are unresponsive, I have called, email and tried to contact them many times as have my doctors and no response. PLEASE AVOID - DON’T GET SUCKED INTO THE INSTA VIDEOS. YOU WILL GET A STOMACH BUG FROM HERE !

Disgraceful, I made a booking online and the bouncers refused entry for no valid reason they profiled me and advised there was an “urban night” the next evening. Despite there being booking availability online they assured me I would not be granted entry even if I paid online stating they were fully booked. Disappointed and disgusted

The best customer service I’ve received at a brunch ever. This was me and my friends second time going to the brunch as we enjoyed it so much and both times have been great but this time was amazing. I had an issue where I split my trousers and the manager (I think his name was Adam) went to the shop to get pins so I could pin them but when that didn’t work he got me some trousers to change into. I am so grateful! The food was amazing and service was so quick. I cannot recommend enough

As a mum of a one year old I can not tell you the last time I actually enjoyed going out to eat with the baby. At Skinny kitchen roast and toast I felt so chilled out the baby had the time of his life as he hates being restricted and I actually got to enjoy and finish my meal! Yay ! The staff were amazing And the atmosphere was a chill happy vibe will defo be back

I attended a conference at the business design centre at the weekend, and with a couple of friends decided to go to this restaurant for lunch on Friday. The episode that then took place is one of the worst I have ever experienced in any restaurant! On entry we were approached by one of the staff, we asked for a table for 3, she pointed us to one of the tables free, the restaurant was half full. As we got to the table we were virtually attacked by a male member of staff, informing us that they had tables booked. I attempted to reply we were just shown to the table he proceeded to tell me to stop shouting. He virtually pushed us from the table, actually using his hip to physically push one of us. We left the restaurant, but being upset and finding the episode unacceptable we decided to go back to discuss this with the manager. Well as it happened the male staff was the manager, when I asked for his name he told me Ben, refusing his surname. It is rare in a restaurant to come across such an arrogant and appalling behaviour that he portrayed. He was rude, condescending and when I tried to explain the situation he actually laughed in my face, and then literally pushed me to the back entrance threatening to call security. When I said please do, his answer was I can’t be bothered as you are now out of the restaurant. I left. It is worth pointing out there was several people waiting to complain to him, one of these I spoke to. She told me her laptop had been stolen from the table while they were sat at it, and when they asked the manager Ben for help his reply was “what do you want me to do about it!” I am shocked that a restaurant would employ and accept such appalling behaviour, but there you go, I have a choice and I will never go to The Skinny Kichen again!

The manager was absolutely appalling in this place. Incredibly rude, disrespectful, uninterested.Avoid at all costs. His name was Ben. At the same time I had an issue, another family was also complaining. Spoke to several people that had also eaten in this restaurant who said food was poor and customer service was atrocious.

I literally just left this restaurant and let me tell you what’s just happened. I went to find a place to eat as I just got my glasses refitted at Jimmy Farley’s. Skinny Kitchen looked like a new place to try. As I entered, I was abruptly told that they don’t do walk ins (I could see there were tables available). I thought it was weird, and when I asked if I could take away, the guy serving me didn’t even look at me when he answered no. It wasn’t a nice feeling and I should have gotten his name. This was around midday afternoon on Friday 15th March 2024. I left and then saw on the website, that “walks in are always welcome”(see photo). I suppose just not with me. I don’t think that’s really how people coming in should be treated..

We did the brunch- 3:30pm slot on a Saturday. We were very lucky with our seats, as were were by the mini stage- had we not been I don't think out time would of been as good. My food was lovely, however some of the starters were very small. All mains however were big and filling and tasty. Entertainment and security all great- a good show. What let us down was the "bottomless". We had about 4 drinks served to us in the 90 mins- they stopped serving us 10 minutes before. For the amount of money you pay the service/speed just was not good enough. You will get more for your money elsewhere - none of us were intoxicated to warrant not being served any more drinks, I just think they were too busy to get too everyone and for the price of the brunch that is very disappointing. I would also recommend paying in full in advane- tables around us were complaining about added charges bringing the brunch up to near £80. All other elements good- just not as many drinks as you would expect at a top class brunch.

Some of the best healthy food I’ve ever had. Come in the summer and get a table outside in the evening, the atmosphere is so so lovely.

Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with trendy decor and friendly staff ready to assist. The menu boasted a wide variety of nutritious options, catering to a range of dietary preferences including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. I opted for the Superfood Salad Bowl, and I was blown away by the vibrant colors and fresh ingredients presented before me. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and I appreciated the generous portion size that left me feeling satisfied and energized.

Food was lovely. I knew it was child friendly before I got there, but didn’t expect kids to be running riot. The DJ booth and music was quite loud and we were glad when it finished. The waiters were all lovely, but I don’t knowing they were short that day, it took some time to get anyone’s attention. However, would def go back

Food was was bland. I had the roast and everything tasted soft. The atmosphere for me was too noisy but for families it could be fun.

What a great experience at The Skinny Kitchen. Very vibrant atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Colourfully designed interior. Great open space with a stage for dancing. Service was really fast. Food was amazing. Lots of fresh produce with flavoursome food. The DJ was amazing and played great music. The performances from the singer and dances was great. Will be coming again and recommend to my family and friends.

We went today for a birthday brunch and the staff couldnt have been nicer. Was disappointed to have no champs or sparkling rose in stock despite being advertised! But the food was fantastic, lovely decor and our servers really went above and beyond. Thank you!

We ate at the restaurant a few weeks ago and the food was exceptional (I had the cod thai curry)! We had only just been married and the team all catered for this perfectly, and we were greeted with a lot of excitement from the staff. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good and they made us very welcome even with a lot of Christmas parties later on in the evening. Thank-you for making a very special day even more special.

What an amazing find!! Everything was just right, from when we arrived to when we left, staff were very attentive, ( we were looked after by Meghan). Food was served quickly , our starters were amazing , mains came out piping hot and beautifully presented, portion sizes were good too. Atmosphere was lovely, everyone having a great time, DJ played a decent number of hits and the live performers got everyone up and dancing. Pricing was reasonable too, great value considering what was provided, we did not leave hungry or sober xx Perfect for couples , friends and groups whatever the occasion, we will definitely be coming back Thank you

Came for the bottomless brunch for my friend's hen (one of). The bottomless brunch was supposed to be 1.5 hours, but it got extended to 3 hours. However, when we got there, they told us the table is reserved for 3 hours, and it was only bottomless for 1.5 hours. When we sat down, they took about 10 mins to ask what drinks we wanted, so we were already eating into our bottomless time before we even got a drink. The service was okay, but it was a full room, so they could probably do with some more staff. I asked for a jug of water for the table, about 3 or 4 times before actually getting it. Finally, there were only 2 female toilets, so there was a massive queue, with a bouncer on the door to let people in, as the whole room was full of women! The atmosphere, DJ, and entertainment were really great, so overall, I enjoyed my afternoon! I had the bruschetta and Thai red curry, which were unreal. Defo recommend!

Lovely food atmosphere and entertainment. We didn't think or realise to let them know a couple of our party couldn't attend due to illness but make sure you do ahead of time as you will be charged for them.

We attended yesterday as a group of 4 for a 40th birthday. Whilst I had an amazing time with friends I do feel a few things need to be questioned. The service with regards to the bottomless drinks was great but often my drink was being taken and replaced before I'd even finished the one before. One drink was taken whilst still half full. As a vegetarian it's rare to me that the food I have supersedes that of meat eaters but my three friends ordered the chicken gyros and all three of them struggled with the chicken thigh being fatty, chewy and having bones. The flat bread was also laying in oil and soggy. My vegetarian option was a burger and I did enjoy this but had to swap it initially due to chicken falling out of the bun. The entertainment was a little underwhelming too. We'd hoped the dancers would mingle with the dining and we'd be able to appreciate them a bit more. In reality they didn't really come near our table and the table next to us were all stood dancing so we couldn't see anything anyway. The drummer again whilst great at his job didn't venture in our direction either. It's worth mentioning too that the ladies toilet door doesn't lock properly (unbeknown to my friend) and was opened to tables of eaters and a bouncer whilst my friend was in the middle of what should have been a private situation only women can relate to. When it came to paying the bill for the 4 of us who had no extras it should have been £260 The original bill was over £100 more than this and had we not asked this "mistake" would have gone unchanged. The next total included what was in our opinion a waaaay over the odds service charge which we asked to be removed. Overall it's worth saying that we did have a good time but the food and entertainment didn't meet expectations given the the £65 price tag and it would have been nice to be given the opportunity to finish drinks rather than them being taken to be replaced too soon. Meaning that you're not actually getting as much as you could out of the "bottomless" aspect.

The whole experience was amazing, the atmosphere was second to none. We did know the Saxophonist RUEBEN he Is a good friend of my family such an amazing person. 💗🥰👍🏼

Service very slow ! Served our first drink 20 mins into our 90mins drinks very slow coming , food came out late, then finished 15 mins early so basically had an hour ! Then they had the cheek to add service on at £10 per person. We took off. Not a lot of drinks to choose from , gin fizz aperol spritz lemoncello fizz Prosecco ! Not worth the £65 at all won’t be back

I’m probably not the main clientele for Thai restaurant but I thought the food was bang average and the cocktails quite watery for the price. Our reservation was booked 15 mins after the ‘start’ yet we we’re all turfed out at the same time and not wven allowed to finish our glasses. I’d say I’ve had more fun at other boozy brunches in the city

I was passing with a friend when we decided to stop for a snack. It's a nice place, we sat outside. Chips and smoothie was lovely. Intend to go again for a meal.

Food was delicious! However service was rushed and we were only served 2 drinks in 2 hours despite asking for more drinks as we’d paid for unlimited. Male manager in his 30’s unprofessionally laughed at us and informed us he knows for a fact we had 5 drinks each - of course he knows better than us on how many drinks we had, how silly of us women to speak for ourselves. Wouldn’t recommend.

Super Restaurant! Die Speisen haben gut geschmeckt und alles hatte meiner Meinung nach einen angemessenen Preis. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, vor allem eine der Kellnerinen hat einen super netten Eindruck gemacht. Es wird in der Rechnung automatisch schon Trinkgeld berechnet und wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, dann wird dieses Trinkgeld auch schon in die einzelnen Preise inkludiert. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und man kann auch sehr gut im Freien sitzen.

We visited Skinny kitchen for breakfast. If you like english breakfast but want to mix it up a bit on the plate, this is the place for you. They have some good breakfast plates and also offer a veg version of the traditional english breakfast.

Really surprised with how good the food was! Great options, healthy and tasty and good dose portions. The vibe was a bit dead because it was so quiet but I would imagine it’s better on a weekend or later in the day. Service was okay

Loved it! First time here. Was celebrating a good friends 40th Birthday. Food was outstanding, atmosphere and entertainment was fantastic. Only downside was my friend and other parties not being allowed their birthday/hen sashes, badges or any other fancy dress attire. All had to be removed before entry. And the security need to lighten up a bit. They were quite moody. That aside, amazing brunch and great time had by all

Atmosphere brilliant. Starter was lovely. My main dinner was taken away before I even finished it. Everyone on our table had one drink, had to ask the waitress for another. Reluctantly went and got another for us. Even though we all paid for 2 hour free drinks menu. Apart from entertainment, found staff moody to almost being rude.

Layni was so sweet and friendly, was buzzing around between every table making sure they had everything they needed! Nicole provided such a personal service to every table and seemed to be in her element. Both made our brunch more enjoyable and are an asset to the restaurant! :)

Possibly the worst ‘bottomless’ brunch I have ever been to. In the 90 minutes of service I received 2 Aperol Spritz, the first from when our food order was taken and the 2nd we had to actively ask for. I went to the bar for a 3rd and was told that service had finished and they would send over a manager to speak to me. After no sign of a manager I noticed one at the door so went to speak with him. He was instantly confrontational and aggressive from the off set and began to tell me that I was shouting in his face and that we had all been given multiple drinks / service which was a complete lie. We also had 1 person in our group that was pregnant and asked for a coke which she was told they had run out of. Surely coke is something that any reputable establishment would have in stock? When she spoke with the manger he was also extremely confrontational and aggressive with her which is completely unacceptable. I am not a confrontational person and was left very upset after being confronted and seeing such a confrontational manager at this venue. I am so shocked at his behaviour which he clearly thinks is acceptable as a manager? We also had desert included with our booking which we didn’t receive and when we asked if it was coming they proceeded to tell us they were closed so it was too late to have the desert we had already paid for. When I asked the manager if they had forgot the desert he proceeded to shout across the table at me. The reaction of the manager to something extremely minor was concerning and something I have never encountered at any other venue. All he cared about was that the influencers were filled up with their food and drink and didn’t care for their normal paying customers. The food was cold when it arrived and the entertainment was very poor, a couple of dancers and a very disappointing singer who only perform every so often. This was the most horrendous brunch I have ever been to. From the service to the customer service to the food to the entertainment, it was all awful. Do not waste your money or time on a venue that has no care for their customers.

I hired the terrace for my engagement party. Every member of staff that I dealt with, from booking to the event, were amazing! So caring and wonderful. The staff I booked with were extremely helpful, any request I had they answered, gave me all the info and options when appropriate. On the day of the event, the manager was so accommodating and helpful, the bar staff were amazing, so polite and helpful. The vibes inside the restaurant were amazing!! My guests all said they are coming back for bottomless brunch. I will 100% be coming back for my next event. Thank you everyone at The Skinny Kitchen!!!

We were very excited to come to the skinny kitchen and made our way from other side of London to have brunch in a lovely setting. Little did we know… tables were bookable online and they were empty outside ( 2 tables of 4 were sat down) so we decided not to book and walk in as we were having a smoke beforehand. We stood by the sign for a few mins before getting approached by a young lady with dark hair. She nearly sat us and then asked if we have a booking to which we said no. She then proceeded to tell us ‘ as you can see we are fully booked’ which absolutely was NOT the case as I booked a table after she said that to make a point. Now just because you saw two young girls with duffel bags - (we were heading back from a 2 night stay) doesnt mean we would not be suitable to sit in your restaurant. Many Thanks.

We came yesterday (09/07) for the Sunday brunch. The whole brunch was lovely and excellent value for money. Service was amazing despite a private event taking place inside. Special shout-out to our waitress who was wearing the cat ears! She was very attentive and friendly.

We went there for bottomless brunch on a Sunday quite spontaeously - we booked our spot the day before. The food was really good (especially the gnocchi were to die for) and the waiters were very quick with our refills, we didn't even have to ask for a refill once, they came automatically. Also, the restaurant looks really cute and the waiters were really nice! I would absolutely recommend going there!

This is my go to in Angel for a nice meal, at anytime of the day. I regularly have meeting here, and they never dissapoint. Sherbert lemonade, and crispy chicken burger is my go to.

I visited skinny kitchen on Saturday to celebrate my aunties 50th birthday. When we arrived we was told that we wasn’t allowed to wear any sashes or headwear to celebrate the occasion. We removed these no problem even though I didn’t see why it was such an issue. We was quickly seated at our table which was right in the middle by all the entertainment. This was great. we was quickly served our first drink which we couldn’t fault the service at this point. One of my party was taken outside by Jason the security. She was told that she was too drunk to drink anymore alcohol even though other members of staff didn’t agree with this. This is all because she didn’t know what day she passed her driving test! Who really knows that?! She was then told that she needed to eat some food to sober up and prove that she was sober. This was ridiculous as we had come straight from the train to the brunch. After all this Jason finally approved she was okay to drink. At this point it was half way through the brunch so we missed out on drinks! When the brunch was finished we asked if we could have the brunch extended by 1 round of drinks as we had all this disruption. We was then told that it wasn’t possible so we paid our bill and got up to leave. We spoke to Ben the manager on our way out who was obscenely rude and disrespectful. I voiced my opinion on how we was treated and how the service wasn’t great and I was simply told to f*ck off out the building multiple times. As a manager I believe this behaviour towards customers is completely outrageous. I will simply not be returning to skinny kitchen again as I do not tolerate being abused by members of staff. Save your money and go to a cheaper brunch in London.

Coming from a girl in their early 20's. Its not great. I have been to a few brunches and this just didn't do it for me. Saxophone for 2 songs. Barely anyone up and dancing, when the 90 minutes were over the music went off and we were ferried out like pigeons. We ordered a Aperol and they kept filling us up with processco. When we asked for a Aperol they said we couldn't have 2 drinks. There is a lot of other great brunches out there, also note there is a service charge so a £65 brunch is actually 75 so this is falsely advertised. I wouldn't mind but the service wasn't great.

Our waitress was incredibly brilliant, very loverly and was able to help sort out our friend that has loads of dietary issues with something delicious. It was our friends Hen Brunch and she loved it! Awful, avoid, avoid, avoid. Poor quality much better brunches in London out there. We went for the Fabulous Brunch, advertised as having live music, singer and sax. Most of the two hours was a DJ, there was no sax and the singer only sung four songs the entire time. Food and drink were terrible, my veg burger was under cooked, inedible and the wine was awful, total waste of money and an afternoon.

We came to skinny kitchen for their fabulous brunch and can honestly say it's the best brunch I've ever been to. It's worth every penny with tastey food, amazing entertainment and your glass is never empty! Can't wait to come back in September

Instagram heaven, stunning interior, elevated dishes, mouthwatering cocktails, DJ sets & live music - a night out not to be missed 🍸 This is a must for a girls' night out 👯🏼‍♀️ It's also a gorgeous spot for date night 💜 Cocktails were fabulous! Vodka Daisy was a huge favourite 🌼 Outstanding dishes 👏🏼 Calamari, Truffle Burger, Olives, Ragu Pappardelle & especially the Short rib steak 🤌🏻

Delicious food but processing time for the kitchen is a bit on the long side. But the food is definitely recommendable!

Wasn’t impressed at all the guy at the door who was working was lovely but was just a shame when it came to the bill.They told us 65 pounds 3 course meal unlimited drinks for 2 hours.the drinks where very watery couldn’t taste the Alcohol. Then charged us 85 pound each and said dessert wasn’t included on top of that the dessert was awful I could not even put my spoon in the brownie was rock hard like was just sitting there for weeks. So paid 20 pound for Rock hard brownie I couldn’t even eat. They did change it for me but was no better. Felt leaving disappointed and ripped off.

The only good thing about this place is the staff. They’re super nice!! No complaints whatsoever there you guys were great. However, the bottomless brunch deserves 0 stars tbh. They don’t have any of the regular brunch dishes. This was a lunch menu with a VERY poor selection. The starter servings are ridiculous too. The drinks watery and no real selection either (what bottomless brunch in London doesn’t serve bloody Mary’s or Aperol or Prosecco ?!). The veg burger is OK. The gnocchi terrible tbh arrived cold. Also FYI you’ll pay extra for side dishes & desserts. Not at all worth the 100+ quid for 2 people.

I was looking forward to this brunch after all the good reviews and videos I’ve seen about it. Waited over 2 months for the reservation as it’s quite hard to get a slot. Anyway in turn it was extremely anticlimactic and disappointing. The food was meh ok. The drinks tasted watered down. There was no automatic top ups you had to ask and there wa no notification of last drinks. The entertainment was also meh. It’s very hyped up. And the price of £152 for 2 people I almost fell off my chair. I asked for the service charge to be removed as the service was not there! It’s a very expensive brunch for why you get. I wouldn’t go back or suggest this to my friends . Very disappointing. Oh and be prepared to use the men’s toilets if you need to go, or sit on random peoples laps because the toilets are so small you can breathe! I think I assaulted a poor girl with the door as I came out. It’s a no from me.

Attended for bottomless brunch, venue very pretty and instagramable, entertainment was amazing, especially the singer she had a cracking voice. Food was very tasty. Service was great and staff very attentive. My reason for only 4 stars is that the cocktails that they offered with the brunch, I felt contain very little to no alcohol in them. Overall though I had a great time!

Was looking forward to this after all the good reviews, however unfortunately won’t be going back. The food was not good, all my friends were sober by the end of the bottomless as all the drinks were diluted even the Prosecco didn’t taste good. To top it off one of my friends had to go to H&M and buy heels as they didn’t let her in with her shoes. Also as soon as the 2 hours were up, they kicked us out without letting us finish our drinks. Expected more for £65pp

I have left my sun glasses behind on 1/2/23 and have realised it on Sunday 5/2/23, I have called in on repeat, pointless as the phone line doesn't work. I have emailed and not heard back. I have called in today, same thing. How does the phone line not work ??? Can you please reply to my email or pick up the phone ????? I am shocked ! Also I may add the mangers, booking and restaurant, made it their mission to call me and verbally abuse me and sent threatening emails. I cannot believe it, why!!!!

Disappointed. We did the bottomless brunch, Expensive for what it was, drinks were dreadful and no options to buy anything else. Service for drinks was slow. Music was great but could have been on for longer with the price your paying. This place has been so hyped up so was disappointed.

Had a Big Breakfast. However not 'big,' weird beans, with Kale??? Also waited 10 mins for a menu and service. A bit pricey too

Went for my friends birthday yesterday for bottomless brunch and had a sensational time. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere. Would definitely go again. Real game changer is the bottle of water offered at the end of the brunch- very very highly recommended!! Well done Skinny...I'll be back!

Visited for the first time for a work lunch. Menu prices are very reasonable and the food was excellent. I had a chicken burger and halloumi fries. Burger looked impressive and tasted great. Service was sublime. We arrived at 12 and it was a little cold in the restaurant but it was 0 outside. Price point excellent and service excellent. Good little find and recommend.

Came here for NYE with some friends for the first time. Had a few and the bouncer there (unsure of who exactly) went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. My friends and I all had the best time but I really wanted to make sure I wrote this to give the staff some credit and that bouncer in particular a massive thank you.

Really impressed with Skinny Kitchen! I went for bottomless brunch on a Sunday and the food was (surprisingly) really good - I ordered the beetroot salad and mushroom gnocchi, both absolutely lovely. They were also great at topping up our glasses/cocktails. Music was quite loud but it’s bottomless brunch after all so I guess that’s part of the vibe. Overall though a great place to go, good value for the quality of food and lots of vegetarian options.

Great food and atmosphere, but our waitress was very absent throughout our visit though I think she was new so that's alright.

I really hate the name. But if you can get past that, the food is actually pretty decent. Plenty of vegan and veggie options. Portions can be somewhat on the small side. I’ve had the potato rosti before and the fritters, both which were tasty. Poached eggs on the rosti were perfectly done.
