We were sitting at the front of the cafe, but might as well have been outside. There was a constant stream of takeaway customers and delivery drivers, many of whom left the front door wide open. We had to keep jumping up to close it, as it was a chilly day. Also, the coffee machine was right next to our table and was LOUD. We could hardly hear each other speak. The food was average. First and last visit.

This is my favourite cafe in the area, the food is delicious, the menu is varied and any little changes they will do if they can! If you dine in, it gets busy at the weekend for breakfast/brunch however they do takeaway :)) The pancakes are amazing, fluffy and a good size stack that will ensure that you leave full up! 🥞

Typical breakfast with delicious egg & bacon. Excellent fruit juice and TRUE ESPRESSO. The pancakes were also supposed to be delicious, but we didn't try them. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great place for breakfast! We had the flat white, English breakfast and flat bread. Coffee is amazing, food is super delicious with huge portions. Flat bread had a filling of cheese and spinach- which was too good! Lovely ambience, and great service. Loved everything about this place! :)

Really nice place for brunch. Service was very polite and food was super quick and fresh. Flat white (with oat milk) and orange juice also good. Lots of seating - a nice place to sit and chat as not too loud.

This our favourite place for brunch when we're in the area visiting family. They are always so friendly, the menu is big enough it takes time to choose, and the food is always really good.

Food is absolutely delicious here. I had the matcha latte, and avocado toast with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I was so hungry that I didn’t get a chance to take a picture, but it is super good. The staff is also very friendly.

I’ve had breakfast here the last two Fridays - full English and English and coffees on other days. The food has been excellent and I’d strongly recommend. The owner and his staff are friendly and the vibe feels positive. Either sit in if the weather’s poor or grab a table outside and watch the world go by

Lovely little cafe. Very friendly. Only thing I dislike is the noise from the smoothie machine crunching ice cubes. In such a small space it makes such a racket that you can't hear over it.

everybody at cinnamon village is so lovely, the food is very well priced for how big the portions are and they are equally good at making you a matcha latte as they are at a halloumi hash!! i also love that they have so many little products from local businesses they collaborate with 🤍

One breakfast came without toast when on the menu stated it did. Vegan skillet breakfast I ordered was not what it stated on the menu. I had one forkful then left the rest. It was cooked in copious amounts of oil and not as how I expected it to be according to the menu. On telling the waiter they still charged full price after having just eaten 1 forkful. Won’t be going back and I wouldn’t recommend.

I saw this place on Uber eats and saw they did a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich with a choice of bread. I called the place prior as I’m allergic to chicken but love bacon and avocado and although the chicken is usually mixed with the bacon the lovely lady said she’d make me one without it. I received my order and she’d written a reassuring message on my wrapper to say she’d made it without the chicken. I really appreciated that as a lot of places wouldn’t do that and it tasted amazing. I had it on a toasted ciabatta. Will definitely be ordering again and thank you for catering to my allergy ✨

Just had the worst English Breakfast! I couldn't eat it at all. The only taste was the 1L of bad quality oil. Everything full of it. Even the salad was submerged by it and no vinaigrette at all. Mushrooms from can. None of the ingredient is quality. And I paid £17!

Really lovely coffee! The space inside and outside is really cute. What is especially wonderful is all the posters for local community initiatives and things going on. I haven’t eaten so can’t speak for the food but looks amazing and is definitely a place I will come back for for the coffee and to try the food. I think this would be a great summer spot in the future! Coffee also reasonably priced for Islington.

This place is clearly popular, was busy at lunchtime so we made the most of the winter sun and sat outside. I had the gozleme, which was tasty but the side salad was basic for the extra £2. The menemen was good! There are plenty of veggie options but limited vegan options on the menu. The food is mostly Turkish breakfast and lunch options. Prices are a little steep but ok, we paid £25 for the two dishes and one turmeric latte. The place has a really nice friendly atmosphere, service was friendly although we couldn’t work out if there was table service or not. Had a nice time but will try other local spots before returning.

I have been ordering semi-regularly from Cinnamon Village since the pandemic, and sometimes it's great, but sometimes it's almost inedible. We typically order the "Crushed Avo, Feta and Slow Roasted Tomatoes" toast. Starting with the negatives because I have a specific suggestion/request: The bread is often seriously under-toasted, causing it to be soggy, unappetizing and difficult to hold. It is very inconsistent, e.g. sometimes half of a slice will be well-toasted while the other half isn't toasted at all. It would be great if more attention coud be paid to the toasting process. This could be facilitated by adding an option for preferred toasting level in food delivery apps. *When* the toast is well done, the overall result is great because Cinnamon Village are extremely generous with toppings. In general, more options when placing orders would be helpful. For example, there are some things I avoid ordering because they come with chips; if there was an option to replace the chips with salad, I would try them out.

Quickly stopped by to get some breakfast with a friend, we each had their French Toast and are pleased to say that it was amazing! Although heavy; it was perfectly sweet and everything was fresh! The price point was good for 2 peoples breakfast including drinks came up to just under £30. The service was also amazing, with the waiters being friendly and quick to come to our table. Overall definitely a good place to go!

I first visited Cinnamon Village a few weeks ago, and it was so good that I came back with another friend today. The food was delicious both times, staff were friendly and welcoming and service overall was great. It’s a cute little cafe with a warm atmosphere and I’m glad to have it nearby for my future brunch trips! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Overvalued place. The food is really mediocre but also quite pricey for the value. You can find better options around. It's also quite casual and not the cleanest place for sure. We ordered shakshuka and it was more like a boiled fried vegetables, really so so, the English breakfast was average too. Service is ok, but super slow, it took 40 to 50 min to get the food for a brunch. It seems that they give a priority for delivery and don't care much about the customers inside.

I must say that the staff were really awesome and having wonderful energy around them. Food variety and taste were amazing and hats off to both Chef Ravindra and Ranjith as they closely monitor the quality.

This has been my go to breakfast cafe since I moved to London earlier this year. I come here on Sunday mornings, around once a month and have yet to move beyond ordering the Nutella pancakes. These remind me so much of the US (which is where I moved from), that it feels like a piece of home. I’m honestly hoping I’ll try something different there the next time but the pancakes are so so perfect that I won’t be surprised if I order them again.

Cute place with good food, but I had an issue with allergens. I have a gluten allergy (celiac disease) and I asked for the Shakshuka and made my allergy very clear to the waiter. Despite being reassured the order would be okay for my allergy, I still got a strong reaction to the food I ate. I am not sure if the shakshuka itself had some ingredient in it or if the kitchen made a mistake by giving me regular instead of gluten free bread. I also ate nothing else that day, so I am certain it was due to the restaurant.

This is one of my new favourite places in Highbury! The breakfast pancakes were amazing, so fluffy and tasty, with real maple syrup. And the coffee was special as well. Certainly one of the best places around.

Really basic pre cooked reheated food. Poor quality, really wouldn't recommend as it's pricey. Don't waste money!

First time ordered from here and food was very tasty. Although pricey but worth ordering again as tasted and looked freshly cooked. Well presented in it's takeaway packaging. Delivery driver was on time and friendly. Generous mushroom portion of which was a bonus. I usually go to other cinnamon village cafe on top of Highbury Park but noticed this place has more variety on their menu. Thumbs up from a very satisfied customer 👍

If you are looking for cosy, delicious breakfast and great service, Cinnamon Village 2 is the place for you. I had mediterranean breakfast and it was fresh and tasty, so was my latte with coconut milk :)

We had a Gozleme breakfast and a veggie breakfast which we really enjoyed. Coffee was tasty too. Toilets could be a bit cleaner though.

Had brunch and loved it! The halloumi hash brisket and vegan platter we had today were both amazing! The potato gozleme was very tasty as the presentation was beautiful. The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly. Great vegan selection, fresh squeezed juices and rich coffees. For me definitely it is definitely the best place for breakfast in Islington, quality and price wise they are unbeatable! Highly recommended

Average food, overpriced for what you get and their food rating is pretty bad. it's only 3 out of 5, not surprising. They messed my order up with missing item as well. I won't go there again.

Loved the deco, and the coffee was really good. Next time I'd like to try the Turkish pastries and borek, etc. on offer - they looked really delicious. The only negative is the lack of customer attention on our visit. We walked up to the till, manned by a sulky young bearded man. He didn't look up when we approached the bar, we waited for a wee while to greet us and take our order, we then said "excuse me", to get his attention, and he simply replied "a second". No "hello", no smile... a bit rude really. Luckily the young girl who brought us our coffees couldn't have been nicer. I'd give it another go, but I'm hoping this guy gets some customer service tips.

This place is great! We usually go for the gozleme every weekend! Other breakfasts are wonderful too.

Been here several times just because it is convenient. I don't think the food I've had here (fry up, etc) has been anything to really go back for. It's a safe option for a coffee, though it is very loud inside.

I've been to cinnamon village so many times and they don't disappoint. I normally get the pancakes breakfast with sausage and eggs and my partner gets the healthy breakfast. The food always tastes great. I also get a cappuccino, the coffee is also really good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ordered a halal breakfast, came with the turkey bacon bloody almost raw. Mushrooms tasting like the 1kg of salt and hash brows soggy in the water of the mushroom which they did'nt strain. Waste of £20 will NEVER EVER use these guys again, ive had an issue once before with them but thought id give second chance. Learnt my lesson.
