I don’t think we saw the best of this place today unfortunately. Husband received the wrong breakfast; son & I had to wait a very long time for our pancakes - which were undercooked when they did arrive. The staff just didn’t seem to know the items on their own menu. Such a shame as it was recommended to us.

Not here to comment on food but the service, ignoring customers who wait to be served only to serve people who just jump in the queue.

We were there on a sunday afternoon.When we were there service was incredibly slow. It took about an hour to get 3 breakfast items to our table. I imagine it was quite busy but that really is a bit too slow for brunch And the food was not amazing it was just ok

I found nail clippings in my crepe!! Avoid at all costs. I felt something hard in my crepe as I was eating it and pulled out nail clippings from my mouth.

If you’re based in the Highbury/Finsbury Park area… THIS is the best place to be for breakfast/lunch! I’ve been here a few times now and the food is ALWAYS delicious! Great portion sizes and the prices are not too expensive. Usually customer service is 10/10, but unfortunately today I was waiting a while for somebody to take my drink order so I ended up going to the till to make my order instead. The food and atmosphere makes up for that slight issue though. Highly recommend the ice coffee with hazelnut syrup and the full Monty breakfast which is what I had today!

This is one of my fav cafes in the area. The coffee and food were amazing! The service was quick as well.

Cinnamon Village on Blackstock Road is a charming cafe offering delicious breakfast and brunch options. They have a large menu with everything from classic fry-ups to Turkish breakfasts and sweet treats. We rave about the friendly service and the warm atmosphere. Try the gozleme!

We were sitting at the front of the cafe, but might as well have been outside. There was a constant stream of takeaway customers and delivery drivers, many of whom left the front door wide open. We had to keep jumping up to close it, as it was a chilly day. Also, the coffee machine was right next to our table and was LOUD. We could hardly hear each other speak. The food was average. First and last visit.

This is my favourite cafe in the area, the food is delicious, the menu is varied and any little changes they will do if they can! If you dine in, it gets busy at the weekend for breakfast/brunch however they do takeaway :)) The pancakes are amazing, fluffy and a good size stack that will ensure that you leave full up! 🥞

Great portions - 5 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon. But the sausages were super cheap and nasty. Not a good Cumberland at all. Please change sausages.

Recommend! I order the halal pancake breakfast that comes with sausages and turkey rashers. I have to call the restaurant to replace the turkey rashers with more sausage and their customer care is great! Pancakes are 10/10. Smoothies are lovely also.

Typical breakfast with delicious egg & bacon. Excellent fruit juice and TRUE ESPRESSO. The pancakes were also supposed to be delicious, but we didn't try them. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great place for breakfast! We had the flat white, English breakfast and flat bread. Coffee is amazing, food is super delicious with huge portions. Flat bread had a filling of cheese and spinach- which was too good! Lovely ambience, and great service. Loved everything about this place! :)

Really nice place for brunch. Service was very polite and food was super quick and fresh. Flat white (with oat milk) and orange juice also good. Lots of seating - a nice place to sit and chat as not too loud.

This our favourite place for brunch when we're in the area visiting family. They are always so friendly, the menu is big enough it takes time to choose, and the food is always really good.

Food is absolutely delicious here. I had the matcha latte, and avocado toast with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I was so hungry that I didn’t get a chance to take a picture, but it is super good. The staff is also very friendly.

I’ve had breakfast here the last two Fridays - full English and English and coffees on other days. The food has been excellent and I’d strongly recommend. The owner and his staff are friendly and the vibe feels positive. Either sit in if the weather’s poor or grab a table outside and watch the world go by

Lovely little cafe. Very friendly. Only thing I dislike is the noise from the smoothie machine crunching ice cubes. In such a small space it makes such a racket that you can't hear over it.

One breakfast came without toast when on the menu stated it did. Vegan skillet breakfast I ordered was not what it stated on the menu. I had one forkful then left the rest. It was cooked in copious amounts of oil and not as how I expected it to be according to the menu. On telling the waiter they still charged full price after having just eaten 1 forkful. Won’t be going back and I wouldn’t recommend.

Sausages, sourdough bread and Halloumi were good. The fried egg was a bit overcooked for my taste. Mushrooms were just edible, tested like canned mushrooms, not fresh ones.

Fantastic restaurant with a cosy and cute vibe, delicious food and really friendly service. One of my favourite places to go to with friends and family! Highly recommend.

Amazing food overall but got the completely wrong order.

I saw this place on Uber eats and saw they did a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich with a choice of bread. I called the place prior as I’m allergic to chicken but love bacon and avocado and although the chicken is usually mixed with the bacon the lovely lady said she’d make me one without it. I received my order and she’d written a reassuring message on my wrapper to say she’d made it without the chicken. I really appreciated that as a lot of places wouldn’t do that and it tasted amazing. I had it on a toasted ciabatta. Will definitely be ordering again and thank you for catering to my allergy ✨

Just had the worst English Breakfast! I couldn't eat it at all. The only taste was the 1L of bad quality oil. Everything full of it. Even the salad was submerged by it and no vinaigrette at all. Mushrooms from can. None of the ingredient is quality. And I paid £17!

Really lovely coffee! The space inside and outside is really cute. What is especially wonderful is all the posters for local community initiatives and things going on. I haven’t eaten so can’t speak for the food but looks amazing and is definitely a place I will come back for for the coffee and to try the food. I think this would be a great summer spot in the future! Coffee also reasonably priced for Islington.

The driver left the delivery outside our door. Sadly they didn't knock on the door hard enough so we missed him. Your food is always great!

This place is clearly popular, was busy at lunchtime so we made the most of the winter sun and sat outside. I had the gozleme, which was tasty but the side salad was basic for the extra £2. The menemen was good! There are plenty of veggie options but limited vegan options on the menu. The food is mostly Turkish breakfast and lunch options. Prices are a little steep but ok, we paid £25 for the two dishes and one turmeric latte. The place has a really nice friendly atmosphere, service was friendly although we couldn’t work out if there was table service or not. Had a nice time but will try other local spots before returning.

Food is very average, not much effort, carrot cake very dry. Packaging was nice though

I have been ordering semi-regularly from Cinnamon Village since the pandemic, and sometimes it's great, but sometimes it's almost inedible. We typically order the "Crushed Avo, Feta and Slow Roasted Tomatoes" toast. Starting with the negatives because I have a specific suggestion/request: The bread is often seriously under-toasted, causing it to be soggy, unappetizing and difficult to hold. It is very inconsistent, e.g. sometimes half of a slice will be well-toasted while the other half isn't toasted at all. It would be great if more attention coud be paid to the toasting process. This could be facilitated by adding an option for preferred toasting level in food delivery apps. *When* the toast is well done, the overall result is great because Cinnamon Village are extremely generous with toppings. In general, more options when placing orders would be helpful. For example, there are some things I avoid ordering because they come with chips; if there was an option to replace the chips with salad, I would try them out.

Always loved the food here. Shame they no longer deliver to my house anymore as I’m too far (I wasn’t last week!)

Fast and friendly service, delicious breakfast, and a great atmosphere.

Let me be clear What I have received was not a club sandwich. A modern club sandwich had three slices of bread, is toasted and usually has cheese. There was no third slice, it wasn’t toasted and there was no cheese. Also, when I order a sandwich from a restaurant/cafe I expect proper bread, not thin soggy slices from a tescos-brand loaf. What I received was a chicken and bacon sandwich. A poor quality chicken and bacon sandwich.

The menemen was so soggy it looked like a smoothie with chunks in it. Disgusting!!!

Quickly stopped by to get some breakfast with a friend, we each had their French Toast and are pleased to say that it was amazing! Although heavy; it was perfectly sweet and everything was fresh! The price point was good for 2 peoples breakfast including drinks came up to just under £30. The service was also amazing, with the waiters being friendly and quick to come to our table. Overall definitely a good place to go!

I first visited Cinnamon Village a few weeks ago, and it was so good that I came back with another friend today. The food was delicious both times, staff were friendly and welcoming and service overall was great. It’s a cute little cafe with a warm atmosphere and I’m glad to have it nearby for my future brunch trips! I’ll definitely be coming back!
