Friendly staff quick easy service good food

Fantastic spoons. Delicious food. Hot drinks are good quality. I had a flat white and it was as good as any top notch brand. Breakfast was hot, generous, filling, and well presented 🎁 😋 👌. The best bit...the sun trap outside seating area. 🌞 ☀️ 🌞 ☀️ at the rear of the building. Bonus. 🔔 the delightful bells 🔔 on the hour. 🕙 🌞.

We go here often for breakfast and have never been disappointed. Have been to other spoons but still travel back here for their breakfast the environment is clean and the staff always welcoming.

The service was good, but they only served cold drinks, but I requested a cappuccino. Otherwise, service and the food were enjoyable.

Been to Six Bells a few times now – partly for the burgers, partly because I’ve forgotten how to cook, and partly because I’m convinced their whisky selection has a gravitational pull. The burgers? Top notch. Especially the ones with those big ol’ pickles that look like they’ve been bench-pressing cucumbers. Only issue is, my toilet at home has started making distressed noises when I walk through the door. Could be the burger. Could be the whisky. Could be the combination. But honestly, who needs digestive peace when you’ve got a Spoons this good? Staff are always sound, drinks come quicker than my will to say “just one pint,” and it’s the kind of place where you can overhear the wildest conversations and somehow feel smarter after. Classic Spoons energy, but with a bit of Lymington flair (and less sticky tables than you'd expect). Will be back. Probably before my toilet forgives me.

Up in the high street by the church, the best location and beautiful restaurant. They treat the clients well and they serve pub food and cold beer .

We just had the most delicious Eggs Benedict made at the Weatherspoons in Lymington. The food was hot, eggs runny, rocket salad fresh, nice ham and toasty muffin. The portions are great and it does fill you up 😊

Can't go wrong with Spoons, just manage your expectations and you’ll eat and drink for very little cash.

Had the breakfast & baked beans were cold, but aren't they always. My first coffee, the machine told me it was rinsing & another customer commented on his coffee which he got from same machine, but overall a good experience & would come back if I'm this way.

We do love a Wetherspoon's, especially when travelling. We've been to this one before and it's nice enough. This time it was a bit messy and the food took almost 30 minutes to arrive. When it did there was no apology at all . However it was fresh and hot.

Good cheap burger. Freshly cooked. You can see the food being prepared. Spotless kitchen. Real ale selection disappointing

I just had a fantastic Mushroom Benedict for a late breakfast! It definitely made my day and gave me the energy to continue my hike. Despite the busy time, I was served very quickly, which was a definite plus.

Took my daughter here for lunch, had a great BBQ chicken, bacon and cheese panini with halloumi fries.

Saturday morning breakfast in weatherspoons, the price has gone up, hash browns are smaller, less beans, to top it all I get white toast, when I said to the guy bringing it up, that the toast is not toasted, he said that's how all the toast is coming out , as if that makes it alright, don't call it toast if you're not going to cook it

Food was good. Steak was tasty but tough. Cost was very reasonable at under £17 for steak, chips, peppercorn sauce, mushroom peas and tomato, and that also included a pint of beer.

Breakfast every week is extremely quick service, and the plates are hot, so the plate warmers Tim Martin had installed were well worth the investment well done Tim.

Did not eat here. Usual kind of atmosphere, busy and bustling. Ordered from the app, it took a little while to arrive, but we weren't in any rush. Typical JD Wetherspoon.

One of the better Wetherspoons because it feels s little more homely, clean, and inviting than the others.

I came in for a breakfast and it's nice to be able to say this Wetherspoons is lovely and clean inside, staff and lovely and friendly and the food was beautiful

The only good thing to say is that the service was quick and friendly, ordered on the app and the drinks came swiftly, followed quite swiftly by the food which all looked nice, however two of our party had the chicken melt which once cut into you could plainly see the bacon was almost raw so we took it off and ate the chicken although due to everything else on the plate being on the cold side ended up only eating half of that, we were in a rush so did not want to fuss over sending it back, one of the other meals mixed grill was also on the tepid side, the only warm one was basically a basket of chicken and a side salad, when the waitress collected the plates and queried if the meal was ok we told her the issues she said she would talk to someone and then come back as she didn’t like to think of people not being happy with their meals, we waited 10 minutes whilst we finished our drinks, she never came back, I have eaten at several Wetherspoons and they are very hit and miss this one was definitely a miss and if we find ourselves back in Lymington we will be avoiding it!

The apple crumble you could use to fill a pot hole , the waitress in her leather trousers was more interested in sorting her hair than serving, the steak and kidney pudding was worse than a frey bentos tinned pie , absolutely awful

Very friendly and smart Wetherspoons right in the centre of town. The food is what you expect from the chain (broad, ok and good value), but the staff were lovely. Everyone's tastes were met and the curry deal on Thursdays is very tasty and excellent value.

Stopped off with the family after a day out as it had been recommended for a quick meal. Ordered the food and drinks through the app which was easy to use. The food and drinks came out a short time later. The food was nice and hot and for the price was fine although, a salad with the burger would have been nice as well as chips. We all decided to have a pudding. Some went for the chocolate brownie which, again, was ok but nothing special, I decided on the cookie dough sandwich which was very sweet but I did enjoy. Would go back again if I was in the area

The six bells I smller than most Witherspoon pubs. Service was very good as was the atmosphere, sadly it was let down by he food which for a Witherspoon pub is very unusual. I had the madras curry, which was very watery and cool, For a Madras curry, it was also not very spicy

Spoons, what more could you ask for!

Ate here every night during our stay locally. Friendly efficient staff. Food is just not hot enough, had to send back a stone cold sauce. Food left on counters too long awaiting a member of staff to take it to a table. Good value and portions. Nice outside courtyard area 👌

Good level of customer service. I was reading negative reviews:some of customers who wrote negative reviews should change Weatherspoon to restaurants and not write negative reviews.Need pay for elite service another money and they didn't meet worse service.

This Six Bells is definitely above average. Friendly staff and the food was well prepared and served promptly. We have eaten at many Wetherspoons and this is one of the best.

Food v average - also the quorn wrap mentions no spice but it was 3* spicy - please rectify this! Nuggets were v soggy. Floor was v dirty.

Food was not as good as usual fish all dried up, and waited ages for it, wasn't busy, so we were surprised as usually excellent in there

The worse meal ever steak kidney pudding with mushy peas and gravy. Mushy pies were hard gravy had a skin on it. Would complain to staff but no one came over to ask and trying to get served at bar was a nightmare.

Walked in spoke to arrogant barmaid who said to look at menu! … I said just wanted small fish and chips and a drink so she pointed to menu and said with couldn’t care less attitude - mushy peas, peas or beans with it!? Presented with heavily coated battered small slice of fish, chips which were a mixture of old, new and half cooked and tasteless garden peas on a cold plate! Added to this a small glass of wine which came to about £15…. Absolutely not worth the money and to me a waste of £15! Certainly didn’t enjoy the food, will never recommend the 6 Bells and won’t ever return!

Bright welcoming venue. I think this is the Cleanest Wetherspoons I’ve been to - only thing to let it down was sticky push plate and surround on the toilets on a Sunday morning but that could be easily rectified. Would definitely recommend a visit 👍

All good. Got there early for lunch. Plenty of tables. Food and drink came quickly. Friendly service. Noisy kids only downside but can't blame the pub for that.

I was very dissapointed with my lunch today, I had a 12inch chicken wrap and fries. The chicken was dry and chewy and obviously had been reheated, and a good job there was not much of it to fill the wrap. I wish I had taken a photo of it.

What absolutely lovely spoons the staff are helpful and friendly. There is plenty of seating inside and out the back. Toilets are upstairs, and these were clean and tidy. Food and drink service was fast. Stunning pub and only a short walk from the train station and waterfront.

Really good Wetherspoons. The best curry we have ever had at a spoons. The evening was spoilt by underage drinkers, giving the staff a nightmare. I felt really sorry for them as the local youths were relentless in coming in. Lovely bar and staff. A doorman is required.

Selling my JDW Stock in the morning. Very angry bar staff. I just wanted a gin and tonic, but unfortunately I got half a shot at best, and a double shot of passive aggressive and rudeness. I think my money would be better spent buying booze from Tesco and drinking it in the churchyard outside the spoons.

Only here for breakfast. Staff didn't seam to understand my request for extras. 1 item short but the food was hot and of good quality.

I know its ment to be cheap and you get what you pay for. However prices seem to be high for a burger where it tastes worse than a rustlers burger you can buy at the fraction of the price. Have eaten else where and never had a problem. Maybe a 1 off but very dissapointing and the chips were soggy as well all round not good. Service was good staff polite and friendly Edit - now currently not very well, something def wrong with this place in the kitchen avoid at all costs to yourself and wallet

As regular visitors to this establishment one expects a certain food quality and to date we have never been let down. With views across the sea to IOW we enjoy uncomplicated dining such as the ceasar salad and the burrata salad, fresh and tasty. A place where you can dine al fresco and meet like minded people, there to enjoy themselves and share stories. The staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

The breakfast came cold and the staff were extremely miserable, we tried to have a conversation with a lady who was cleaning the tables and got totally ignored. Worsed breakfast we have had.

Great as ever But why do you allow smokers to stand in front of the clearly sign post for no smoking and smoke . They were stood there whilst the staff were clearing tables and ignored.

Usual nice food and drink and the female bar lady was lovely and friendly and helpful.

Really nice Wetherspoons in super location on highstreet. Very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent guest cider & good ales, which they know how to serve correctly. Three different areas including a light & airy part near the front windows & a pleasant courtyard out back (beware the chip-stealing seagull!) Went for the afternoon pub classics deal & only reason for not five star is the portion sizes; certainly on the chilli bean, which is vegan, I could have eaten more. Very keen prices for Lymington & always open & serving food.

Despite allergy requests given at the till. Food still came containing allergy food. Not good enough.

Decent Spoons friendly quick service. We had a few drinks Saturday afternoon after a treasure trail round the town. Loses a star as I missed the amazing barmaid when I was there.

Popped in for brunch ar 13.00 whilst returning to Sussex after attending a Gary Numan concert in Bournemouth the night before. It was busy as expected but we found a table. Ordered our food and drinks which arrived very quickly. It was all piping hot and the cutlery and table were clean. All the staff were very chatty and had smiles on there faces which was lovely to see. We used the toilet facilities which were very clean and tidy. A big pat on the back to the manager and there staff. Kev

I'm not a spoonies type but this one in particular is good and has a better charm and character than many. Staff are always cheerful and give a lot of effort to treating visitors well. Clean, nice decor, much history around. The winding stairwell to upper wc gives a you first glimpse of mass of Windows for boasting panoramic views of historic rooftops and architecture all around. It's worth taking your mobile with you when you visit the powder room. Coffee could be better but it's cheap and drink it with a bottomless mug. Downstairs area as you come in is for those that like it slightly quieter. This place can get noisy around the bar. Amazing line of really decent beers. Including Leffe put in a Ledge glass ...lovely
