We eat here about once a month/so….the food is surprisingly good as it’s reasonably priced as you would expect for a Wetherspoons.

Great places to eat ,refillable tea ,coffee etc food tasty ,great prices ,include a alcohol drink ,tea coffee ect .

It’s busy, it’s loud and it’s well priced. I’ve had better and I have had much worse. I do like the fact you don’t have to leave the table. Everything can be ordered on your phone and paid for.

It is a very nice pub in Lymington High Street. Plenty of sitting and very clean. No carpet on the floor. The service and food were very nice. Good portions and served with a smile. Great atmosphere and good lighting.

We visit this bar quite often, and like the food, but I don't understand why all the dishes on the menu are at least 2 pounds dearer than the other Witherspoons I go to, perhaps thats why I can get a seat more easily , also the food is lukewarm, a note to the chef perhaps.

My wife and I visited this superb spoons on Saturday 3rd Feduary with our 6 year old granddaughter and five week old grandson.It was very busy being market day and when we arrived were lucky to get a just vacated and well cleaned table.All the staff were very friendly and could have not have been better.I ordered food and drinks at the bar and because how busy they were and expecting a wait and knowing that we had to feed a five month on baby the food arrived very quickly and very well cooked .I am a big fan of chicken wings and have had them all over the world am surprised to say that these were the best I have ever had.They were well cooked and crispy.Great service and many thanks,I will be back soon.

One thing that stood out for us was the work ethic of the bearded gentleman working the lower level. This guy is a machine (in a good way) he doesn’t miss a beat and works extremely hard to make everyone’s experience a good one. I don’t know his name, but as someone who has owned a number of businesses over the years, I can say that he is exactly the person I would want to be running an establishment like this. No time for himself, and all about making Weatherspoons work for the client and the the management. If he is not the overall manager then the area management are missing something.

Food was good. Service was good, enjoyed our lunch 😋

Generally the food was tasteless & overcooked. The gourmet steak was small gristley, burnt on the outside but raw on the inside & too tough to eat. Disappointing experience.

One of the best pubs in the Witherspoon's chain. I have been here a few times now and every single time the service was great, food and drinks were brought to the table very quickly after being ordered and the staff always greeted us with a smile and checked with us of everything was good. The place itself is very nice as well , close to public parking and easy to find. Good food, good prices, friendly staff, timely service, convenient location. Honestly what more could you ask from a pub? I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lymington.

Wow this food must have been the best around.... NOT what the hell is this microwave dried mash and a couple pigs in blankets brilliant kids meal and well worth the money. Where did it go so wrong very off putting to buy again rather spend that little bit extra for a decent meal and actually get food on the plate.

Was asked for ID at the age of 27 said I don’t have any because why would I at age 27. I haven’t even been asked for ID at non club venues in about 5 years. My brother had a pint of which I had a sip from then suddenly 5 staff members surrounded my table and started giving me a lecture making up rubbish that I was specifically told previously that I couldn’t drink. I am very visibly over 25 so very silly I was asked for ID in the first place but sending out nearly every staff member on the premises to give me some lecture at the age of 27 is just pathetic so I politely told them I was leaving and vacated the premises to the lovely townhouse just around the corner which rightfully allowed me to order a pint

Great location in Lymington. The good thing about this pub is the excellent value for the quality of the food. The service is both pleasant and the staff very friendly and prompt. Highly recommend.

Always busy with offers on meal deals some don't start till after 2 pm, we were in at 1,30. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere.

The appearance of The Six Bells from the outside is modern and welcoming with a big glass front and atmospheric lighting. There are 3 seating sections with a combination of booths, traditional tables and high stools to choose from. Menus on each table allow you to order from the bar or from the app, by scanning the QR code. Good value for money pub food as always from Wetherspoons, offering a reasonable selection of vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and polite, the pub was reasonably clean and presentable including the toilets upstairs.

Came to this spoons was served by Becky, Izzy, Amy, Ginni & Emma Came for cocktails which were amazing and the food which was made by Emma was the best!

Fantastic value vegan breakfast and was cooked perfectly. Lovely service from the friendly Staff in a very clean pub. Didn't get to see the lovely Joanna but James and the rest of the staff made up for that. Another time, very soon hopefully.

A lovely Wetherspoons pub, beautiful modern decor and spotlessly clean. Food arrived in minutes, and the beer was excellent. Highly recommended.

So, have come here many times with the family. After all my boy rates the southern fried chicken bites as juicier than KFC ! My mother in law loves the endless coffee machine and I love the lack of strain on my wallet. My motivation to review today is that I have come alone having taken advantage of a rare day off and a chance to Xmas shop for my wife. I love the value of this place. I am on my fourth pint of fabulous ale under £3 a pint and have just had those suggested southern fried chicken pieces (see photo). The App is fab, i have not left my table (though yes my seal is suggesting I better think about visiting the WC!), and the service is rapid. The drink and food are perfect and represent the best value in the country but the real secret of this place is the staff. Lovely people, super friendly, amazingly attentive and noticeably proud of there own products and location. If you have been to a “spoons” before you know what o am talking about. If you haven’t then stop mucking about and get down here.

Now I was only there for the breakfast and I must say it was superb. Service was on point, and the place has character. I don't know what the evening rush is like, but I will definitely come here for breakfast again

Cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for which is a reasonable breakfast for the price. It was difficult to get water and milk out of the machines and how on earth are we supposed to squish the tea bags with a little stick? I had to return my cutlery as it was filthy. Outside the loos there is a sign saying that hygiene is regarded highly so sanitise hands before entering. It was empty. The nice outdoor area was, of course, full of smokers!

Having ordered and payed for my breakfast it arrived on a cold plate, I asked the manager if they always served hot food on cold plates and she offered to change it and took it away, there were no more than six other customers but me replacement had not arrived after a wait of over 20 mins so I left. The practise of serving hot food on a plate that has a low temperature Renaults in the food such as eggs congeal and baked beans are cold in a very short time, it is not rocket science and in most teaching academy’s it is the first thing you learn. May I suggest you educate your chiefs in this basic practises. I for one will not be visiting this place again soon.

We popped in for a quick meal, as we had an appointment at 7pm. We order our food, and got a drink, the menu had a very large choice, I had the smothered chicken, and hubby had the small mixed grill. The food arrived fairly soon, and we enjoyed our choices. A bit noisy, but it was 6pm on a Friday evening. We will return and we will recommend the six bells to our friends

Used to be a nice place, however today it was really bad. Cold food, slow service. The pub run out of pizza?!

I love a Wetherspoons. I know what to expect when I go in. We were on holiday, the weather was rather disappointing, we were in the High Street , seen other pubs , but wanted the familiarity of a Wetherspoons. Can't go wrong really. Don't be a snob over your food or drinks. I know people say derogatory remarks about them , but we had a G & T , tonic , a pint of ice cold lager and two packets of crisps , and change from a Tenner!. I even considered the large mixed grill , my favourite of all time. Great offers all week , steak clubs etc. Large garden , but it was very early evening and it got busier when we left , but still not crowded although it was Tuesday. This one has lots of glass and polished wooden floors and it was very nice .

We go here often for breakfast and have never been disappointed. Have been to other spoons but still travel back here for their breakfast the environment is clean and the staff always welcoming.

Food was poor stake was almost impossible to chew and my Mrs had gammon but it looked like slightly thick peace of bacon witch was burnt around the edges, but we where offered a free round of drinks

We were a fairly large party and it was busy, but we were served really quickly, and the food was good too.

The food was very nice but there was a woman who was really really drunk and people were moving away from her because she was laughing really loud and being annoying. It ruined the experience for me as a strict teatotal.

It's a spoons. Wasn't expecting gourmet food. But burger and chips was pretty awful. Beer was decent. Staff lovely. Onion rings crispy so not sure how the chips managed to be duff.

We ate here back in August 2022. We had two chicken tikkas and a child's pizza. They'd run out of mango chutney for the curries, but they didn't tell us when we ordered them, but otherwise it was all to the usual standard.

Probably the nicest, most modern Wetherspoons I’ve ever been to. The staff were kind, there was plenty of seating. Even during peak hours, both food and drinks services were fast. Great place for a drink and, although it is often rare, this place definitely competes with any traditional pubs in the surrounding area

We try and use the Six Bells every time we are in the area and have never been let down. We just ate and drank in there again tonight and as usual we were welcomed and received exceptional service. I highly rate this place!

Good food at low prices. Service was friendly and reasonably quick for a busy morning. Breakfast was typical Wetherspoons quantity at a very low price. Hood selection of beer. Everything was tidy and tables were cleaned quickly.

My second time at a Wetherspoon Pub - the last was in Yorkshire. It really is a horrible experience other than the pricing which is excellent. So if you want cheap - but not cheerful - them try it. But if you want a nice evening out with friendly service go somewhere else.

I've been to a lot of Wetherspoons, they all serve the same food etc, but this one has the right staff, because the food is cooked well, and the customer service is friendly and what you'd expect. Will be a favourite of mine for sure!

Met up with my cousin who was on a trip to Highcliffe. We all had an excellent breakfast from porridge to full breakfast. Coffee was good as well.

Nice to sit outside but beware of the pigeons and seagulls,!

Very busy Friday lunchtime. We got the last table but constant turnover means you won’t wait long. Despite being busy food and drinks delivered in good time. Basic, cheap, enjoyable

My daughter and grand-daughter took me to lunch here, it was very, very good, the food was excellent and the service second to none. Although I lived in the New Forest for 25 years I never visited this restaurant, my mistake!!! I live in Bournemouth now, but my grand-daughter works next door to this very good restaurant, many more visits are planned. We could not fault anything including price about it. Peter

Some Spoons places punch above their weight and this is one. It's an interesting building (old hardware shop) which let's in lots of light and has a garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food and drink is the same vast range as all Spoons so no complaints at the price. Only observation is the stairs to get to the bar. This stops anyone who isn't able to walk up the stairs to the bar and again to toilets. I saw mums with prams and oldies struggle. One apparently regular lady just sits and waits for a staff member to come down and confirm "the usual".

This is a fairly typical wetherspoons with a multi level interior and a fair amount of seating to the back in an outside, covered beer garden.

A group of nine of us met here for a good old-fashioned pub lunch. The whole experience was excellent. The staff were helpful, cheerful, and efficient. The food for everyone was prepared quickly and was first class. The dishes ordered ranged from simple fish and chips to full-on upgraded mixed grills, and the quality of all the meals was lovely. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this place.
