My hubby and I visit regularly. The food and service is always excellent. Would like to thank Chris especially for his service. What a lovely member of staff.

Visited the place last month and really disappointed. The salad bowls are really small now and I always have the scampi as I’m not a meat eater and I was shocked with what I was served. It wasn’t whole tail scampi what I’m usually served with but a few tiny morsels of what I don’t know. The scampi is usually quite big pieces but this was certainly not worth the money. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. There was 4 of us 2 of us having a bottle of wine each and two having beer. Very disappointed and this was the new menu.

Food is good here and the service is very good and efficient UPDATE Been today (28/11/18) on the vip night before they open fully and the food is really good and the staff are very friendly it was very nice.. Still great food but can get pricry

Ok, service was a “ little slow” BUT it was extremely friendly & professional. The food was piping hot and very very tasty. Salad bar replenished & fresh even though it was 9pm. Great experience.

The service at Harvester sir Winston Churchill Rochdale is top notch, The staff are friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. I would like to give a special shout out the the supervisor (Georgia) for making our dining experience truly memorable.

Party of 11 no crockery we ate out of takeaway bowls no cutlery we had to ask for it service appalling although the young man serving us was foing his best while the manager sat eating at the bar with 5 other female staff food was mediocre badly displayed allergies no catered for served eith items asked yo be removed due to allergies I have eaten here for over 10 years but this is the worst experience I have ever had we would have been served better in Mcdonald Karen mcmahon

What an amazing experience I had in this place! The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. You have such a lovely girl working there, I think her name was Rachael and she was just so friendly and pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us! Would definitely return!

The service was abysmal. Either the waitress was having a bad day or she just hated her job

New menu is great, the ultimate rib roundup meal is something else

Went in for dinner tonight the food was lovely, really like the look of the new menu will deffo be back to try more

Staff were great, food was very nice and piping hot, value for money was good and the new menu has some really good stuff on there which i will be coming back to try!

Food, service and atmosphere was fab. I had one lady seat us, one lady take the order and a gent for the bill. All were fab. Professional and with a smile. The food was great. Drinks are expensive. Personality my only issue was that I had to get up and find an employee to both get another drink and to pay the bill. Which in fairness they had just had a large group come in and were moving around the tables to situate them. Other than that I enjoyed it

Our waitresses this morning were excellent. They regularly checked on our table to enquire if we needed anything or if our order was ok. Both were very pleasant with a smile.

Absolutely shocking service. Used to come here every week for breakfast but when the manager is sat watching a single staff member run around like a headless chicken while he doesn't help her is wrong. Sat there for 30 min without even being brought a menu but the people who walked in after us are being served their food while we haven't even been brought a menu Is wrong. 2 builders being served food while my 2 kids are still sat there without even so much as a drink I think we will find somewhere else for breakfast and stop coming. Sorry to the lovely danielle being treated like she's the only person in there while he watches and does nothing.

Left after 25 mins of sat there waiting to be served! Not offered drinks, no chance of placing an order Breakfast is on its arse! Full price for absolutely no customer service! People coming in after us getting fully served. Poor Danielle running round while the manager is non existent! Doubt she will ever be paid what she's worth for single handedly running the whole restaurant front! Then him walking round like he's pretty much got up! Absolutely shocking! Now going elsewhere where there is a real chance to get food! Go somewhere that care about customers not just there money! Won't return again.

Always here for a breakfast. Great little place, well worth a visit. Good choices on the menu and they are always willing to accommodate. Definitely recommend the classic breakfast.

Just a simple early dinner. Reception and seating very good and the service ok. However, there are a couple of things that wound me up. Firstly, the cutlery was foul. Absolutely disgraceful. The knives in the pot looked like they had been licked clean, sowe picked up the empty table next to ours and that was just as bad. Thank goodness my wife had some wipes in her bag. Secondly, no salt, anywhere! There wasn't many staff on duty that we could make out. Spotted some salt cellars on top of the cupboard and wandered over to see if there were any that could be of use but they were either empty or blocked. Eventually found one with so.e in but had to take the base off to get the salt out. The food was OK but not up to the hype on the poster on the wall next to our table. Which, by the way, also looked like it could do with a good clean. In a word, shabby.

Our waitress Karly was very friendly, helpful and truly amazing with our children whom one has autism and a Cow milk allergy. Defintley be back and would love Karly to serve us again.

First time last night at winston churchill went for a meal with my partner loved everything about the restaurant food service facilities prices couldn't fault it especially our serving lady milly nothing to much trouble made us feel welcome and valued

Went for a meal on a Saturday evening, waited a while to be served (which is fine, except there we’re 5 tables in). Not a single thank you from the server, no check back on food, and charged £6.30 for two apple juices which I ordered off the children’s menu (with 2 children’s meals) which stated the apple juice was 90p. To top it off, we paid in cash and the waiter walked off and kept the change without checking first (I always tip, but wouldn’t have this time due to food and service) and as we left we didn’t have a single thank you from any staff, including the manager on duty. Food quality was really poor other than the salad bar. Food is really expensive considering quality of it (not this individuals restaurants fault but good service could make up for the price).

Great food at great prices. The staff at Rochdale are helpful and attentive, service is always relatively quick. Add to that the reward scheme and its a big thumbs up from me.

Came here with family for our grandsons birthday tea, 4 adults and 2 children. Food was really good,Salad bar all fresh and full....dinner hot and tasty. Special thanks to Millie who looked after us, she has excellent customer service and really friendly. Overall 10 out of 10 We would definitely recommend.

Food was cooked well and tasty. The service whilst polite and friendly was a little off. We had to ask for cutlery, had to ask for the salad bowls so I was still eating my salad as my main arrived, after the main we waited an age (in what was an empty restaurant at 9.00pm) and eventually had to ask for desert menus eventually we had to go and find someone to ask to pay lol. Whilst this sounds like horrible service tbf like I said they were pleasant so I tipped a nominal amount and we left with full bellies.

Ordered from the 2 courses for £14 + not sure the exact price advertised. When the bill arrived the cost was MORE than the price advertised. When queried I was told that the 2 couse meal Id ordered contained a supplement on one of the meals of £3. This is mis leading as if it costs more than the large print heading on the menu WHY is it on that menu. In other words you could put a supplement on every meal on that offer. TOTALLY MISLEADING. Another thumbs down was I ordered from the 2 courses for... menu a starter. The starter arrived and a couple of minutes later the main course was delivered to the table by a server who basically just threw it on the table with no comment. Id only just started the starter, so the mains was left there going cold for about 10 mins. NOT IMPRESSED. Food was nothing out of the ordinary that made Harvester stand out in anyway

We enjoy harvester restaurants but feel this one was one of the best we have visited the food was just perfect and the staff are very welcoming

Salad bar was non existent and this is main reason for going. Asked 3 times for it to be replenished which took along time and still wasn’t up to usual standard. Service was not up to usual standard either Lack of management around and our server disappeared for a long period of time taking 20 mins to take a dessert order and to pay bill I went to the bar as no one came back.

Haven’t been for a while, but decided to meet with the girls. We were greeted by Joanna and was served by Chris they are amazing. We will be back soon. 🙂

Good: The meal was nice, parking, seating Poor: - They took ages to come to us after we had taken our seat. - It took much longer than normal to bring our drinks - It took even much longer to come to us to take our order - What was available at the salad bar was absolutely dreadful. There was hardly anything available. What was there, was dry and not appealing. - The chicken meal that was chosen by my wife was not available. - They had no jacket potatoes - I am lactose tolerant, so when I saw you had a vegan dessert, I was very pleased to see it there and ordered one to eat. After a while the lady came back and said they had no more of that dessert. - I was also overcharged. As part of the meal deal, a rack of ribs was £3. You charged me £6. I didn't realise it until I had left. So, overall, it was our worst Harvester experience and I would not recommend eating there under any circumstances. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

Lovely place with great food and pleasant staff. We visited again yesterday and got the same service as we always do. It's a pleasure here the staff are very polite and attentive. Update; we've not been here for a while due to Covid19, but little has changed, still great service and great value for money.

Exceptional service every time we visit. They are very understanding of my clients needs and do everything they can to accommodate us, thank you all.

I had the afternoon off work so we popped out for our dinner. We had a lovely welcome and Danielle our waitress was attentive and provided a lovely service- and the puddings were yum!

Niamh and Sammy and Reeann was absolutely amazing during my visit to the harvester. We had a great time with amazing food. Definitely would come again.

The food is mediocre and the salad bar is soggy. The service is inconsistent. One time you can get an amazing waitress, the next time you’re desperately trying to get their attention whilst they’re chatting to another server. Or you can’t see them because they’re in the kitchen for ages. It’s a good atmosphere and the kids like it there.

Friendly service, lovely atmosphere, good food. Our server, Erin, was friendly, personable and helpful as well as efficient. Dan and Lenny always give us a warm welcome.
