Absolutely freezing. Doors wide open. Told by a young member of staff pub was too warm. So everyone sat in their coats. Terrible.

Hit and miss in terms of service but the food is always good. Great prices and decent offers.

Came in tonight with the family, noticed that it was a new menu, the starters burgers and pizza are amazing. Had great service served by beccy and Lorraine and checks backs from all the staff including shian and James.

I have just been for a breakfast and have never been so disappointed. The bacon looked uncooked, not everyone likes raw looking bacon. The beans swimming in what appeared to be a watered down sauce, tomatoes freezing and sausages were cooked on one side raw on the other. These views are not just my own as there were people in the queue who had the same opinion. The standards have dropped dramatically . I have been refunded because it was not edible 🤮

Shocking been here a few times before and ok, but today meat was all fatty food luke warm Roasties warmed that much inedible , the bottomless ice cream now consist of ice cream and sauce no topping unless you pay a extra 50p each for toppings

Never had a worst carvery . The portion of meat was an absolute joke . When I complained the guy serving laughed and said “well it was worst last week we was made to weigh the portions “ he was serious . I will never go back x

All you can eat breakfast for £5.99 awesome. Also have free refills on the hot drinks. Was paying £7 previously to go somewhere else and it was just what you got on the plate. So bargain. Food was delicious. Will definitely be returning for more

Faye and Becky are great every time we visit

Really cheap nice place to eat good carvery on the weekday ,the Sheff is very friendly and takes pride in his food and speaks to his customers, the guy is top notch 👌, food was nice to what I like for the price ,playground was good for the kids above 5 year old tbh otherwise they might nit be able to get up the climbing frame ,overall nice place to eat amd have time out if you live in the areas near 😋

The all you can eat breakfast is nice, but could do with scrambled eggs. Also could do with individual Nutella pots for the waffles.

The place was severely understaffed, and the staff were frantically running around. We ordered our food using the QR code and paid for it. However, when our drinks arrived, we were informed that it would take 90 minutes for our food unless we opted for the carvery. We reluctantly chose the carvery, but the food was either burnt or undercooked. The atmosphere was disappointing as some parents seemed unable to control their kids. I definitely won't be going back there, considering the price I paid, I could have dined at a much better and more established place.

Good hot food, reasonable variety. Not sure why the mushrooms have to be paid extra but other than that would recommend. Unlimited tea / coffee and toast etc is worth the price.

You pay extra for mushrooms, which wasn't mentioned when paying for the breakfast, overall the food was quite dry. The rotisserie toaster had to go round 3 times so when's it busy I imagine it's a nightmare.

Been here a few times now after downloading the app to get the deals,breakfast all you can eat(and we do) does not disapoint and the staff are happy and welcoming.

Waste of money ..the food was cold and hard..seemed like it had been sat there all day.. everything was running out no gravy, no mint sauce. The potatoes were as though they had been deep fried rather than roasted and the Yorkshire puds were like cardboard. The place was filthy food and bits all over the floor. Only one person serving on the bar..and had to ask for the chef to come out of the back to serve us . .. after just standing around for over 5 mins while the girl cooking the pizza was just looking at us . Don't bother wasting your time of money here

The Stone House pizza & carvery... Was no less that perfection! From the highly trained staff, the high quality food and the greatest value for money I have ever seen in this day and age! My team and I were here to feast before watching Beatle Juice Beatle Juice. Which is the sequel to Beatle Juice. None the less. The team, the food the brilliant service made our cheeky Friday movie night out a dream come true! We can only hope the movie meets this high standard! 11/10 Would recommend feasting here before your night at the movies! X ✨️👍

We were very disappointed on the state of the food from the carvery, hardly any meat given and the veg was dry, the roastie were way to crispy and actually had no potato inside. When ordering we were nit given the option of pigs in blacket or any yorkshire puddings.

I just wanted to say the cocktails at the bar were so delicious and james at the bar was so efficient and speedy with his cocktail making. Service was amazing, would highly reccomend.

Nothing to complain about - food is fresh and tasty. Service is quick and friendly. Drinks seemt o be pricier than they used to be, but that's just life now. Toilets could do with a refurb, but they seem to be clean.

Called in for pre bike trip to Isle of Man race weekend. Big biker breakfast for two. Just the ticket, to set us up for the ride to Liverpool port.

Started off okay at the till ordering and paying for our food. Then we went to get our carvery and there was no queue but had to wait for nearly 10 minutes for someone to come out and slice our carvery meat. He hardly put any meat on both our plates. Everything was bland, no taste at all. The roast potatoes where hard and difficult to cut and had a very strange flavour to them. Overall a bad enough experience for us not to want to come again or recommend to anyone we know.

Came ere for a carvery 25/8/2024, staff was lovely, carvery was awful, potatoes was like bullets, rock hard, I asked for turkey, so stingy on the meat, I basically paid for peas, green beans, carrots cos that was all I thought was abit edible

Great way to celebrate my belated 18th birthday with my family. Our server Skylar was second to none. The food was delicious, leaving our appetites satisfied. The only negatives were the roast potatoes being overly dry and dense from being left under the heat lamp for too long and the ice cream machine kept running out due to its popularity with the other customers. Overall, a great evening and we will definitely be coming back in the future.

I go with friends on Thursday nights for the quiz. We eat there. The food is good and 90% of the staff are pleasant. My problem is, every time I have ordered a desert, I have had to ask for it to be brought to the table. Last night we ordered food at the table on the app at 730. The drinks came straight away. We waited an hour for the food but it didn't arrive so we asked how much longer. We were told that they hadn't got our order although an email was received saying thank you for the order. We had to wait another 20 minutes for our order. We never received our deserts. Somebody needs to keep on top of the orders. If this was done, I would be very happy with the service.

Smashing place for a good breakfast, WiFi and plug sockets for laptop working, all you can eat for £6. Hotel style help yourself. Friendly staff what's not to like.

Fantastic service, Katie was very helpful and asked about our day, what food we required and if we had allergies. I believe James served our carvery lunch which was delicious and hot, good choice of meats and more than enough vegetables to pick from today. The restaurant was clean and tidy, such a good atmosphere.

It’s ok. Went around 2pm…it was busy busy busy and kitchen service was slow. Food was average BUT they don’t do Lasagne, Curries, Steak, and other pub classics. We wouldn’t return.

The worst carvery in a long time meat was so over cooked and dry , just overall tasteless the crispy bbq chicken burger no bbq sauce on it burnt bacon and the lettuce stalk still remaining on 🤣 and yet again chicken dry and over cooked , chips was swimming in cheese sauce overall 1 /10 best thing about this meal was the polite young man on the till 😆

The famous Carvery is Devine! But their Pizzas are diliectobilydelishous and delightful a billion times better than anything else on earth. Superb friendly service at attractive prices.. what a wonderful way to celebrate fantastic food!!

Overall poor. Waited ages for food only for one dish to not come out. Once we went to ask for it, they releaised their error but gave us no time frame for it to come and gave no apology. I don't generally expect much from these types of places but this was exceptionally poor

My friends and I came for carvery on Sunday 21st July. Faye served us and was so friendly and attentive, there was a delay on my food and my friends had finished theirs but as soon as I pointed it out to Faye, she resolved this and even got us a free rounds of drinks to say sorry. This made the experience so much better, Faye made it for us.

Went for a Friday tea. 3 adults meals ( 2 carvery and 1 mixture of 4 starters) which were absolutely fine and 2 kids meals (one small eaters and one big eaters). The portion of the kids meals was just appalling, spoke with staff just to confirm the big eaters which was aimed at 6-12years was correct and she confirmed it was. The small burger come with 8 chips for a 6-12year old meal. My almost 2 year old finished the small eaters (chicken dippers and chips) and my 6 year old had to have some of her dad's carvery. Value for adults meals is spot on but for kids meals, an absolute rip off, and I was told by staff it goes on weight so they couldn't add more chips. I'd hate to have an older child ordering that meal because my 6 year old was still hungry after hers and she doesn't eat a lot! I've always loved coming here however today, it was just disappointing for the kids.

Although the staff was as friendly as they have always been I was disappointed in the carvery on this visit. We generally go because it is always good but this time the mash was lumpy the roast potatoes were also not good. All I managed to eat was the meat and bit of veg
