Popped in at lunchtime while car was being serviced nearby. Prompt and polite service, good food inc veggie choices.

I had previously added a good review, but after I took my daughter for birthday on the 12th March. I will never step foot in here again. ordered 4 carvery's with added plant based chicken option and plant based chicken burger. told we had to wait for the extras before we got the carvery. 1 hour later still nothin. I went to ask and was treated by the bar staff begging the chef to make our burger and 4 plates of rock hard, stone cold plant based chicken (packet quorn fillets). recieved a refund for the options nof full. Given tickets to have a meat free carvery instead. well but this time it 8pm and there was nothing left on the carvery. our burger turned up 20mins later. nothin as decided and cold. This experience left my daughter in tears and wanting to home. The staff were rude and the chef needs sacking. The bar staff or supervisor whoever it was, should not be begging the chef to make food while he basically tells her get lost. In front off customers and there children

Nice and clean ,toilets smelt fresh and not stale like some places we've visited recently, The food as also been good value for money ,the staff are very pleasant too made sure my dad who uses a walking stick is comfortable!

Young lady called Sarah was so lovely and polite very warm welcoming service would highly recommend food was also nice

I came here with my mum for a carvery. I had a beef carvery and my mum had the turkey carvery. Mum loves the food here and the sandbrook carvery is always her favourite choice when she asks me to take her out for a meal. The atmosphere is pleasant, nice and calm. The service was quick, delicious food and staff are polite and friendly.

Well this place is quite cheap so did not expect the world but quite alarmed to NOT be asked if I had any allergies and when I was at the carvery the chef who was quite morbid did not give any indication as to what was on offer. I must admit I have never been to a carvery where the meat is weighed out on scales and the meat carved into so small pieces to make up the correct weight !! Like I say it is cheap but not very cheerful the Toby Carvery is far superior and you get a smile now and then 😃

Went shopping on Sunday thought I’d treat the wife to a carvery so glad we did the selection was amazing the beef just melted in my mouth thank you guys

We had a lovely member of staff whom helped us with all our needs, with having autistic kids it's always difficult getting out. Beccy helped making sure we was comfortably and all our needs were met as a family of 5. Thank you Beccy we will come again.

Amazing food. Awesome staff, definitely visit again.

Our mains were nice but took a while to arrive, we ordered desserts and after 40mins we asked how long they were going to be and were told not long and 25mins later we asked for a refund on them and didn't even get a sorry for waiting 1hr and 5mins and still no sign of them... desserts take 5mins to make.

We visit every week for dinner always great staff and great food. Love the fish and my husband enjoys the carvery. Keep it going x

Go to Sandbrook quite often, usually get a carvery but ordered off menu, the food was nice but not even a handful of chips with the meals. Seems the carvery is the way to go if your hungry. The service was great as always and our server Skylar made sure we had everything we needed. We were however sat at the long table that was at the bottom of the walkway where the carvery is, and I would never sit there again. It's so awkward literally everyone has to walk past that table to get anywhere so everyone looks at you, plus the toilets were not working so everyone was using the toilets behind the carvery so kept moving the rope devide, so it just wasn't peaceful or relaxing. Would definitely ask NOT to be seated at that table next time were in.

We were in tonight and ordered our usual meal I would like to highlight 3 staff members who gave an excellent customer service by Lorraine, Lexi and CJ the food was spot on and hot and we will most deffinately be coming back

Been twice this week and both times have been great. Lovely food off of Tom and brilliant service off of the bar staff as always. Sunday was busy and both front of house and back were rushed off of their feet but have done amazing, brilliant service off of Loraine as always

Lovely service, honest about burnt starter didn’t wait long for replacement. Thank you to Cjay and skylar for accommodating to us. Garlic sauce texture wasn’t the nicest ruined the dough ball dish.

First time to the Sandbrook, great food, good service, well looked after by Skylar & Lexi. Had a request for a table with room as my son has had a serious accident and has a frame around his leg. Staff sorted a table just for ourselves.

We had a family meal with 14 people and the service was brilliant they were busy but Skylar Lexi and Mack were quick and polite. We had a really nice cheap and cheerful meal and the food was fantastic. X

Suylar, lexi and Mark were great. Enjoyed it the food!

Sadly Stonehouse claim to be dog friendly but not this date unless you want to sit out the back.

I recently visite this sandbrook crown for breakfast, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food was simply awful—poorly prepared and lacking in flavor. On top of that, the prices were unreasonably high for the quality offered. Considering the combination of bad food and high cost, I can confidently say it’s not worth visiting this place. There are far better options available in the area for a satisfying and affordable meal. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

Food was ok. Not enough staff, one staff member was really nice, the rest not so much. Everything took ages. Tables weren't being cleared. Customers were moving other customers plates so they could sit at the table. Had to request kids ice cream twice, took about 40 minutes to get strawberries and ice cream. Staff looked offended when we asked the second time.

Food was cold on carvery on Sunday 19th and prices have gone up. Staff were friendly though. Improvement needed cover food when not busy or replace please.

Never ever again I spent nearly £100 for 4 of us that includes two kids meals, they lost 2 of my tickets which meant I waited nearly 1 hour for my drinks and the same for my dessert... we went to the bar 4 times and when it finally arrived the brownie was the size of my little finger(the brownies was adult ones)

The sandbrook is my local and is always hospitable and friendly. Great sports playing throughout the day. Chilled atmosphere with quiz nights on a thursday. Carvery is great as well as bar snacks. I usually go after work with a few colleagues occasionally and the staff are brilliant. Always friendly and welcoming :)

Visited for Xmas dinner with the family and it was lovely. Food was great and the service was amazing we were served by Judit, Micia and Skyla they were lovely and a credit to the restraunt! Thank you :)

Had a fabulous time at the Christmas Pizza Party. Our girls loved it. Katie and her team were amazing and ensured all the children got involved. Plenty of activities such as a disco, games, prizes and of course Santa and the Grinch. Thanks again guys we will see you for your next party. Highly recommended 🤩

Absolutely 💯 disgraceful no meet and greet your staff are so stuffy dressed the carvery had only 2 kinda of meet we had to wait 15 minutes before someone came to c to us and the food for cold I was so annoyed never again will we eat there again also the tables were not cleaned it was so disgusting 🤢

My go to place every time. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The food is good pub grub. The fresh made pizzas are a dream!

Not often I give a 5 star review for everything but credit where credit is due, firstly the staff was so attentive. My partner wanted carvery (as always) and I was unsure what I wanted, I got a recommendation from the girl on the bar and chose the philly stack burger and my o my wad that the best choice! My food arrived at the same time my partner had got her carvery and we got to eat together that usually unheard of at other places. So wanted to leave this review to say a huge well done to the staff tonight you made our visit very enjoyable and we will definitely be visiting again.

The service was amazing from the staff tonight and the food was excellent🙂 will definitely recommend and will return next time.

Food and service where fantastic fair few in for breakfast and service was brisk. And food kept coming out the kitchen at pace.

Reasonable breakfast for seven and a half quid. Slightly shabby furniture but you get what you pay for.

Waiting ages for a plate, to then get a plate and ask if he would be getting mushrooms which then took another 15 mins to come out, by this time the rest of the food on my plate was cold. Too busy doing internet orders. Not enough staff. Absolutely awful. Tables not been cleaned after people have left

Absolutely freezing. Doors wide open. Told by a young member of staff pub was too warm. So everyone sat in their coats. Terrible.

Shocking been here a few times before and ok, but today meat was all fatty food luke warm Roasties warmed that much inedible , the bottomless ice cream now consist of ice cream and sauce no topping unless you pay a extra 50p each for toppings

I have just been for a breakfast and have never been so disappointed. The bacon looked uncooked, not everyone likes raw looking bacon. The beans swimming in what appeared to be a watered down sauce, tomatoes freezing and sausages were cooked on one side raw on the other. These views are not just my own as there were people in the queue who had the same opinion. The standards have dropped dramatically . I have been refunded because it was not edible 🤮
