The pub is nice and clean , really like the decor, bar man didn't really seem to want to be there and made it quite apparent. We walked up to bar and I was quite excited to see certain cocktails on tap but was told quite bluntly they don't work straight away put a downer on things. Then he's whole demeanor was not suitable for front of house.

Brilliant pub, in the centre of town, plently of tv screens to watch the game. The food was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. Thank you, Bex, for the great service.

Dan and Ashley extremely accommodating under the circumstances. Short staffed and Father’s Day so was getting busy. However the wait was worth it food was very good and Dan couldn’t be more helpful.

We followed the covid procedures before being sat quickly earlier today.My wife ordered the classic burger and chips with a soft drink at a cost of £5.50.....a bargain as this was thoroughly enjoyed.My Katsu chicken with rice was superb however very small in size , so much so that we stopped off an hour later for something else to eat!My dish was exceptional, beautifully spiced and had a nice heat to it also.....but the £8.50 was not justified due to the size.......it was more like a starter.Nice helpful staff and very good food ( I was surprised).Please help our pubs.Visited 4th Nov 2020.

Alway driven passed never gone in, finally got the chance and it was lovely, all the staff were appropriately informative on the Covid rules. Food was lovely and staff very friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We visited Sudbury and ended up by chance watching the fa cup final here, we were greeted by Steph who was lovely, she’s a great host, she explained all the new COVID rules without fuss and made us comfortable and welcome.We had good fun with the pub quiz.Cocktails 2 for 1 were great and the food was superb too, we had a lovely day and will definitely return.Thanks to all the staff, they were all friendly helpful fast and efficient.

Wow, stopped here to have a bite to eat this evening and wasn’t disappointed!!! I ordered a pizza and it was brilliant perfectly cooked compliments to the chef, the barman Samuel was brilliant and even managed to convince me to have a side of onion rings!!! Also what a bargain estrella £2.50 between 5-8 I will definitely be returning soon. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Christmas dinner burnt potatoes burnt Yorkshire pudding cold veggies. Wanted to take my mum out for a nice dinner but this was really disappointing.I ordered a salmon which was smothered in an unpleasant cocktail sauce which wasn’t mentioned in the menu or I would have asked for this to be on the side.Wouldn’t go back.

Was disappointed that there was a different menu from our local Stonegate pub Decided to try the two for £8.50 scampi and chips , it was very nice Also drinks were reasonably priced The decor is very good , seats comfortable , pub open and airy , though a bit chilly as it’s November Would recommend

I was very impressed by the service and the attention from the amazing staff who were under pressure due to the Big Rugby Game.Although obviously short of staff they handled the pressure and the service was still excellent.The new manager has brought life into the place and has taken the time to make sure the pub is a place of good craic and amazing buzz. Ever since the Weaver's tap was taken over by a new manager last month everything has changed for the worse, there's less staff on during daytime hours, cocktails are made differently using premixes and service is just terrible

Visited yesterday for Halloween, only to find the cocktails have changed and are now premixed. Literally the worst espresso martini I’ve ever had and they used to be okay. Very disappointed. Won’t be drinking here again as it’s the only thing I have on the menu.

Looking to eat/drink in beer garden in nice hot weather floor completely littered ashtrays full, dirty packed bin!! Shame after referb could be a nice little pub

bad service, moody waiter, went here with friends and found the waiter and service very poor, no smile, very grumpty when asked for anything, had to eat cakes off our nappins as asking for plates to eat off seem too much trouble. when you paid a lot of money you expect service with a smile and politness, wont be going here again.

Had tapas here for lunch if was great, 5 different dishes really tasty. I love the decor in here they have done it up really modern. Staff are nice and they do 2 4 1 cocktails which are lovely.

We visited to watch a football match on Thursday, my first time in a Weavers Tap, considering how busy it was the service was excellent, atmosphere was brilliant and the food was very good too, thankyou for a great night.

Lovely food. Didn't wait too long for it and the pub was adequately staffed. There was a great disco this was on the Saturday night. Great service considering there was 30 of us.A night to remember

Me and my family came to weaver tap with my down syndrome untie to celebrate for Boxing Day. We were told when ordering food that the kitchen was closed for Boxing Day, although advertised this was not so. We then had a very moody bar man who when we asked for a cocktail said that he wasn’t doing them as he was on his own, even though we were the only people at the venue. He told me “it was because it was too much washing up”. I asked for the general managers name who he refused to give me as “he didn’t have to”. I have never experienced such an appalling service, they should be embarrassed. Definitely a venue to give a wide berth to. They never seem to clean the tables which are so sticky if you put your things on the table and try to pick it up, the whole table lifts up. Food is third rate . Not well run ‍♀️ ☹️ So sad

We often come here to watch the football. Just a quick note to say that this is great venue to do so. The manager, Hal, is an absolute asset to the venue. He couldn't be more helpful, welcoming and friendly. Cheers Weavers Tap!

Went to watch rugby with two 15 year olds, loads of screens but not many with volume. We squeezed in the back room that had an excellent atmosphere.

popped in on a rainy Saturday to be told there was a 40 minute wait for food as there was only one chef due to staff sickness. wonderful example of team work between the front and back room staff produced lovely food especially the tapas chorizo dish which i could have eaten 5 of,and a lovely relaxed atmosphere to spend a rainy afternoon in. such a shame to witness other customers screaming at staff about an issue that was clearly outside of their control. full respect to the staff on shift today who dealt with clearly stressful circumstances in such a professional manner. thank you for a lovely afternoon

Nice pub with tv to watch the footie & other sports.The pub has changed name since my last visit.Its now the weavers tap.

Since this place was reopened, I've heard mixed views so I thought I'd take my 2 daughter's with me for lunch. The new decor is dark but with the lighting, still looks nice. It was empty when we arrived and we chose our seating (comfortable enough) but would loved for the AC to have been on. We ordered our food choices and after 20 minutes it was finally served - not plated particularly well but it was on the plate.

Second visit as thought we would give the place another go after walking out the first time without being served, wish we hadn’t bothered, food matches the staff attitude which are both awful. Need to train the staff better and employ staff that can actually cook.

This has reopened now and we thought we would give it another try, absolutely terrible. Same rubbish served up as before but more expensive.

I have been to the Weaver's Tap a couple of times since it reopened having emerged from its revamp from the silk worm. This was the first time we had eaten because a previous attempt in Mother's Day failed due to running out of food.

Not sure if we visited a different place? Went here for lunch with my family on Tuesday 27th March ... a really lovely lunch, great food, lovely wine and for 3 of us less than £20 (including 3 glasses of wine)! Food was fresh and tasty, service excellent.... give it a go I am a harsh reviewer but couldn’t fault the experience we had! Well done!

Went in there Saturday afternoon (24th March) as we heard it had been re-vamped and re-named, we gave up waiting for a drink as although it wasn’t extremely busy there were lots of staff wandering around and through the bar area but only one inexperienced young lad serving, one other member of staff walked through bar area, high fived the young lad and carried on walking back out the bar again even though there was several customers waiting to be served by this time. The young lad behind the bar was trying to pour a pint for another customer but couldn’t pour it properly so kept tipping it out and trying again after about five minutes of this we gave up waiting and went to the brewery tap up the road.

We came in on a Thursday for pizza. Four pizzas were ordered and a tapas. Forty minutes later we were told they couldn't do the pizzas and to chose something else on the house. We ordered again and then attempted to charge me. While ordering the tapas arrived which was one of the parties mains. Thirty minutes later the other mains arrived minus the garlic bread which was another five minutes.

Very impressed with the interior and drinks selection- and of course understand that premium lagers command a premium price - but £4.40 for a warm pint takes the Michael. Each dish that was served was missing something that was expected, the macaroni cheese looked and tasted like tinned supermarket job- glad other reviews felt likewise. Gainsborough round the corner is much better for food.

Came in for food tonight and all I can say is disgusting. Massively over priced for what tasted like tinned Mac and cheese! And portion sizes wasn’t even enough to fill a child! Had to wait a life time for food wasn’t even told and it was as quiet as anything. The waiter touched our food as well which is disgusting! We received our food to be utterly disappointed by cold mircowave food. Wasn’t even asked for condiments or even told where they were and wasn’t even asked if our food was okay. I will not be returning, rather receive better portions, better food and better service else where.

Ordered southern fried chicken wrap - what we got did in no way resemble southern fried chicken! It was soon sweet and slimy and we both just put it to one side. Told member of staff who could see we hadn't eaten it and all he said was i'll let the kitchen know. Wont be returning anytime soon to eat

Sorry, but the new menu is massively overpriced and the food is dire, ordered some lunch which took ages and was inedible. Raw chips, greasy burnt sticks of sweet potato and tin of macaroni cheese? Prices have shot up, menu choice has halved and food is dire. Give the place a miss. It has lost its cosy atmosphere and the beer has had a £1 per pint put on. There are new rules on the bar of what not to do, here’s one .. don’t go in there, go to The Gainsborough round the corner who have a chef instead of a microwave which you can’t even use properly. Sorry, but very dissapointed.

Han sido un par de veces en el último año. Siempre ocupado en el almuerzo, pero no hay mucho tiempo de espera para su comida. Buena comida de pub.

Servicio horrible, largo tiempo de espera para la comida a pesar de sólo un puñado de gente, la falta de personal, tratarles mal todo el inodoro, las mesas no habían sido liquidados, no es la primera mala experiencia. No lo recomiendo.

La comida es muy buena, especialmente las dos comidas por 8 libras. 99. Buenas opciones vegetarianas y el personal es amable.

Vinimos para bebidas en un jueves por la noche y estaba sorprendido de lo lleno que estaba. (Había fútbol en grandes televisores, así que podría haber sido la razón. A pesar de que claramente se bajo) presión personal funcionaban frente duro de la casa y mención especial debe ir para barman Aaron como Él mantuvo nuestras bebidas viniendo con un alegre y forma. Visited with my husband on New Year's Day as he wanted to watch the football. We ordered from the 2 for £8.99 menu not really expecting much but to our surprise both meals were very good. I had fish and chips with mushy peas and my husband had a cheeseburger and chips. They were excellent value and very tasty. My only complaint was that my food was served in fake newspaper which fell apart when I cut into my fish! However overall for less than £15 inc 2 pints of lager we were very pleased and won't hesitate to return.

We attended the quiz today and two of us ordered food, admittedly at different times. My friends order of chicken club sandwich came without chips which had been ordered, and cutlery and sauces weren't brought before the food arrived as is the norm here. The chips did arrive but only because the lady who had taken the order recognised me and said the chips had been ordered.#My order of a chicken schnitzel type burger came without the onion rings which I only realised when I had finished it.These omissions often happen or the bun is a bit singed, always a little niggle.

Breakfast is normally ok here but today had the worst breakfast ever, Egg's rock hard, toast just snapped in half where it was so crunchy and had the most burnt sausage ever where it actually left a black mark on the plate where it was sitting, i just can't believe they think that was acceptable to serve to paying customers !!! Won't be visiting again for food

5 of us went for an evening meal . we were all on one table but ordered in 2 pairs and a single one after the other . You would expect food to arrive together as we were all on a table together that you give the number of when ordering . Single meal arrives , then 5 mins to next 2 and a further 10 mins to last 2 by which time other had finished . this is basic stuff in my view . its not that they were busy .food was nothing special but it is cheap . would not recommend and wont be in a hurry to return

It's alright food i suppose but a lot of it is cooked in a microwave as it is frozen, I would love a local pup to serve freshly home cooked food

Called in on a short stop visit to Sudbury, the Pub is spacious, with TV's in ample viewing points so whether at the bar or sat eating food if there's something sporty on the TV you'll have a decent view, there's a very tidy menu based on the Brewery group ownership and type of pub, not meant to sound derogatory, but it's value for money, with very friendly staff decent food and great selection of drinks

We decided to go here for a Sunday roast, we ordered and waited around 30-40 mins for our food to arrive, on the whole the food was ok, I didn't like the chicken being on the bone but that's my personal preference. The only thing I would say is there could've been a little more food but for £6 it was ok. The roast consisted of half a chicken on the bone, 2 roast potatoes, a small amount of peas, carrots and broccoli, 2 Yorkshire puddings and a small gravy boat.The pub itself was ok, I didn't like the fact the chairs were ripped and the foam was showing... This I think needs to be improved.

The most vile chav infested crap whole in the town. Poor quality microwaved meals. Dirty toilets. Sticky floor and young rude staff with no bar experience. The only time the place is tolerable is when you are so drunk you don't realise you are in there. Don't go if you want a good time

Went in for a quick meal had a small steak and all was good at a fair price, not very full but some people have to swear so not a place to take wife/partner but would use again

My GF and I had been to the pub twice yesterday once because had been for a walk and wanted a cold drink before going home, and the second time because of the quiz.On both occasions, the pub was not busy, service was ok.The disappointment was the burger I ordered which had two patties in it but one of them was extremely burnt, the burnt side was facing the other patty as if to try and hide it.Because the silkworm staff never check food is ok, you have a choice of making do or marching up to the bar with a plate and stand there waiting. Had the pub been busy all day and the kitchen were tired then I could understand it, but they weren't!Every so often, this pub does something negatively in its food provision which shouldn't happen as simple careless mistakes, which is a shame.

Went for lunch with friends today and as I am on a purely liquid diet for health reasons I ordered the tomato soup. After ordering, a member of staff came to inform me they had unfortunately sold out and would I like to chose something else instead. I explained that I couldn't eat anything else and that I would instead just have a pot of tea, she went away and returned moments later to tell me they would go and get me some soup. I was honestly blown away by this gesture, i said I was happy with tea but she insisted it was no problem. Not only this, but another one of our party has food allergies and they were more than happy to construct a meal not already on the menu that she could eat. Good customer service is hard to come by so I was extremely grateful for their efforts and would definitely return. Thank you to all of the staff x

We needed something to eat after a business meeting, there were plenty of free tables.The barmaid was very friendly. There was quite an extensive menu, and it was inexpensive, with 2-for offers. The food was not particularly high quality, but it was adequate, and served quickly.The décor was a little shabby.

I ate here one evening with my wife and all in all it was a nice time. The pub does need a makeover but service was efficient and the food was nicely cooked and well presented. The dessert deal is a great offer too of which we took advantage.A little more care over the tables would have seen an excellent rating

We have found the food to be decent and the service to be fine. The menu if a good size, but the vegetarian are limited, but there are options.

Having been to this place several times before. I was totally shocked at our treatment. My partner was asked to leave for honestly no reason at all. I asked to speak to the management. Was told this not an option. We were forced to leave all our friends. Emailed the manager a complaint. His didn't even include an apology. It did however say i declined a meeting with him which I did. Not really surprising as it's a 50 mile round trip journey. Would I ever return! NEVER!

Friendly staff, quick food service and a great quiz but it does need some TLC- sticky tiling and floors and the toilets really need redoing.I know it's the patrons that damage things but if the pub deteriorates people won't go.

Why would you even think of going to a burger chain, when for similar money you can eat here? Twice we have eaten here now and it really is good value for the money spent. Friendly service with a smile and plenty of room inside to find a table. We will be back for sure!

At £5 for a big eat meal its a bargain . However its basic food and at the speed it was dished up must have been zapped in the microwave. Service was ok but we were in on a tuesday early evening .

My friend and I had our first meal here and were pleasantly surprised by the extend of the menu, the quality of the food and the low prices. It is difficult to say how much is actually prepared from scratch on the premises but the steak and chips were cooked well. The coffee was good and again, a reasonable price. It was afternoon and not crowded which suited us. I noticed some large TV screens with sporting events so probably a good place for sports enthusiasts.Overall, well worth a visit if you want to keep the price down.

Went for Mothers Day as a family. TV's all have football on them and set at a vey loud volume level, not everyone likes football. Staff are rude and uncaring, glasses are filthy and don't look like they are washed properly. Food at best is pre-prepared food which is zapped in the microwave and they can't even do that right, set two meals back to reheat. Very poorly planned layout and they cram in as many people as they can.We complained and was offered another meal, tried to take them up one it and no joy so they don't believe in for-filling their own promises.If you want an enjoyable and enhancing experience, the this is NOT the place for you, I would avoid this place at all costs. I would've so far as saying that this is the worst eatery I have ever had the misfortune to dine at and will never do that again.If you want an enjoyable and hot meal then this is not the place for you, go elsewhere in Sudbury.

A great place with excellent food and good value. It is large and unless there is sport on the various TV's it is possible to sit privately away in a niche. The only downside is that the interior of the building is dark and gloomy. Otherwise it is an excellent Pub / Restaurant.

I have frequented this establishment on many occasions and have eaten there many more times than I am allowed to review. The last time I had the nachos which were so cold they were disgusting and I vowed never to eat here again.Since then, the menu has changed and some of the dishes have been removed and replaced- it remains a bit samey to be honest. I miss the chicken parmigiana as it was different.This time I ordered the chicken bbq melt which came out very quickly- possibly too quickly but was tepid- how the cheese was melted is a mystery!Drinks usual good value, staff provide variable service and quiz remains good fun, but food doesn't seem to be the strong point

I attend the weekly sunday quiz with my GF and her family. On this occaision, I ended up eating at the pub. Bar service slow last night which was unusual. Ordered the mac and cheese burger which wasn't my first choice- but then I wasn't really sure what I fancied. And therein lies the problem- the menu is 'samey'- things with a slight variance or you can get them elsewhere and better. I think this may be because the pub chain has been bought and the menu hasn't really changed as it could.Having said that, it was hot, not greasy and tasted OK. Service when dining tends to be the delivery of food then no further interaction.

Since my last review I have returned to the Silkworm twice, and found the service has really gone down hill for several reasons, experienced on both visits. Today I noticed that the footfall was significantly less than previous Sundays when I have visited, and I was unaware that the Carvery was no longer in action. This was rather depressing as this was the reason I chose to go today.However, we stayed and I ordered a roast chicken dinner and my son had fish and chips. Although he is only 8, I ordered from the adult menu as on our last visit I noticed that the children's menus had shrunk significantly. When our meals appeared we were given the standard ketchups, but I asked if there was any Cranberry sauce or English mustard (was only provided American Burger mustard) I was told no. The chicken was dry, and the Yorkshire's were over cooked. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. It definitely would have been improved with some appropriate condiments.The 'Chav' element decided to plonk themselves in the booth behind us and continued to f and jeff throughout the meal, and if the waitress failed to notice, I suspect she was deaf or daft. I usually will confront this type of behaviour but today I really couldn't be bothered. I would have liked to have seen some recognition from the staff that there language was not appropriate considering the families present. That said all off the staff looked about 18, and I wondered what back up or support they would have had if needed. So, merely pointed out to my son that we wouldn't stay for the intended pudding and coffee as we usually doWhich brings me on to the dessert menu. £4.75 is a great price for 2 puddings. It is over the top for what you get, if you only require 1 pudding. Which we did. This is why they have taken the pudding off the children's menu I am told. Because the 2 for 1 is such a good offer. Even when my husband comes with us we rarely require a pudding, but the boy does, so 2 for 1 on puddings is absolutely pointless for a family of 3, whatever way you look at it.The 2 for £8 meals are very small, but you can't deny the value, but don't be fooled into thinking they are a standard meal size. They are not.I really used to enjoy going to The Silkworm, and whilst it is still not an unpleasant place to go, the standards, servings, service and family atmosphere has really deteriorated. I won't say I will never go back, but it won't be at the top of my list any longer.

I have been a regular at the establishment as I attend the sunday quiz. Staff are still friendly, the pub is relatively clean and the menu is varied. I had the chicken bbq melt burger with cheese and bacon, fries and tomato relish which was reasonable but the chicken was a bit tricky to handle as it kept slipping out of the brioche bun! Enjoyable however.I have noticed that the two for £8.95 meals aren't as good value as they appear due to portion sizes (similarly meal and a drink) so I would go for a main meal and pay the extra. Must try the ribs next time..

Slightly ambiguous title of review shouldn't put you off- good service, varied menu including pub classics but also bowing to the culinary trend of pulled pork/chicken other things it shouldn't be paired with. Burger with Macaroni Cheese. Really?Food is served quickly and efficiently, tastes ok and is generally excellent value.Staff are friendly and cope well with busy periods. Pub generally clean.I would prefer to go here if visiting pub than most of the others in the town

Eaten here lots and lots of times. Foods always good, quick and cheap. Perfect for watching the footy or grabbing a quick bit of lunch. Love the staff here, Misty, a supervisor was especially lovely to my family. Little things go a long way and this certainly worked with us. Will always return.

Food is consistantly goid and excellent value. The football is the biggest put off and music tends to be too loud during the day, but all in all a nice pub for grub

Went into the pub on a Sunday afternoon thinking we would have a meal and a beer. Unfortunately a football match was on and instead of just having selected tvs on, in every room they have the tv on full blast including the eating area. How are you expected to talk! They seem to forgot not everyone likes or watches football.

This used to be a good pub/restaurant but the food and service has gone downhill. Avoid on football days because it gets very very noisy in there. The food was cold, sent it back and they just microwaved it complete with the sour cream on my dish! Needless to say it was sent back again with curdled cream and a called the manager over. Only then did I get the dish I ordered after my daughter had finished her meal.

We decided to pop into town for a quick bite to eat on New Years Day as neither of us were inclined to cook. Pub was busy with football fans near the bar but not in a way to put us off.Service was good, food still good value. Cheese and Bacon burger was tasty if a little too greasy- as if had been finished in the fat fryer (a technique I have seen people do in a former career!).Good family pub. I have frequented this pub on many occasions and have seen large tables served without problem so I wonder if pelly d experienced problems because of christmas menu or just a bad day!

I have visit the silkworm often with friends for lunch and a catch up and have always found the staff very friendly and helpful the food nice and well presented and the prices very reasonable, it was with this in mind that we decided to book our family christmas get together with them. being 17 of us 5 of which age 2yrs and under we rang up two weeks ahead to book a meal and to arrive at 4pm. upon we explained our needs and placed our deposit. when we arrived our table was not ready we waited 15 mins and were taken to two seperate tables, there were no menues, no highchairs for the little ones and upon sitting discovered one a nice as the christmassy table decs had looked from a distance we discovered the remains of a previous diners gravy slattered over the table runners. we were not happy with the situation and called to speak to a manager to ask that our deposit be refunded as trying to organise 17 people with 5 infants and 2 juniors with no proper seating was proving difficult.The young lady Georgia informed us that we were unable to be refunded our deposit despite the poor planning but offered to sort out some high chairs rmove the dirty table dressings find us some menues and gave us a complimentry drink she handled the situation admirably. We did stay for our meal which was very nice and as usual the staff were lovely. We ended up having a pleasant and enjoyable meal and some much needed family time. However although I enjoyed the evening eventually I feel the establihment is much more suited to smaller parties and would not recommend lt to anyone who has a large family or friends get together to organise.

went here for a family get together, I had the all day breakfast & my wife had the curry pie, both were enjoyable

We went here for the usual Sunday night pub quiz. Luckily the pub was better than our performance this week!Service at the pub is always friendly and the quiz master is great. The menu has just changed- a bit smaller than before but still good value including two meals for £7.95, 2 for 1 sweets. Sometimes the deals are little underportioned. My towering inferno burger was towering and enjoyable although I do think perhaps the spiciness should come from salsa or similar rather than Franks Red Hot Sauce which tends to get absorbed into the bun or chicken pieces.Bizarrely, my friend ordered first, his food arrived first but his burger was less well cooked than mine. Both still enjoyed though I have to question the idea of a nacho grande burger which included nachos and pepperoni?Good value pub, wide range of food and drink

Good if you are on a budget, simple food at low prices. occasionally go here for lunch during the week, the food is what you would expect it to be when you're paying £6.00 for a full meal. Cant complain really, food always hot when served and drinks are also pretty cheap too. if you are a family I would avoid if football is on or Saturday evenings as it is a pub as well and can get quite loud/ lairy

The Silk Worm does a great job in competing with Weatherspoons. The food is a similar price but much better quality. The drinks are very competitive as well.The atmosphere is far better than Weatherspoons and the Manager will always listen to any concerns you may have and rectify them whenever possible.Overall a great place to visit most evenings.

I went into the silkworm with my 6 year old daughter on a Saturday to have lunch,and have to say I will be going back.It was very busy due to the football, however the staff were so friendly to me and my daughter, the food was really good and the atmosphere was fantastic, it really is a great pub all round. Highly recommend it.

Doesn't know what it is trying to be. Young persons bar, restaurant, OAP diner, coffee shop. Standard fare, low quality similar to wetherspoons. Go late and its noisy. If your 18 in Sudbury and go for a pint - fine, Dinner, never again.

When I visited earlier in the year for lunch, it was a clean, welcoming place. There weren't many people in there, so the service was fast but the food took a while to come out. The food is the typical chain pub food, but was fairly tasty.

Went to this pub/restaurant for a birthday meal.Very much a sort of Weatherspoon sort of pub. Food was good, reasonable enough,and served hot.Service was good, and the eating area was nice and clean.Overall a good place to eat,but nothing too fancy on the menu.
