The Shipwright Inn was recommended to us by a local lady on the street when asking directions and advice for a good place to have lunch. She wasn’t wrong. The restaurant is a little blue corner venue on the water’s edge. The couple who run the restaurant could not have been more friendly or accommodating. The food arrived quickly and every one of our dishes was excellent (fresh, tasty, good size). Very reasonably priced and definitely recommended!

The Teifi Netpool Inn

22/07/2019: Really nice to have stayed at this B&B.; Stayed for two nights. Brekkie was really nice. The surrounding area is also nice for walks. The owner provided us with a good insight of things to see and do locally. Would go back if in the area. Its a good new small business. We stayed in Green Family room. The beds are comfy. The only (semi) negative is that the bath is small, but we did not use as we showered.
28/09/2019: What a little gem, tucked away down a side road, next to a little park overlooking the river. The chef here really can cook ! The food is great quality and amazing value. I had ham hock terrine to start, while my husband had garlic mushrooms in a creamy sauce on toast. Both were delicious, beautifully presented and in very generous portions. For mains we had the absolutely delicious cod in welsh rarebit - yum! It is very refreshing to find somewhere that uses a bit of imagination in its menu - definitely something for everyone. The restaurant is only small, so book first. It is overseen by the warm and friendly owner, Kayla. Unfortunately I think the restaurant closes for the winter months. This place really is a hidden gem !

St Ishmaels Garden Centre

09/11/2019: We called into cafe for Saturday lunch four of us. Our daughters had the turkey, brie and cranberry toasted sandwiches with a bowl of chips to share. They enjoyed them. Hubby had chicken and Leek pie with chips and peas he loved it. I had cauliflower cheese, with bacon and black pudding it was lovely, unfortunately as I have been ill I can't eat as much as I'd like so had to leave some cauliflower cheese and black pudding, it was a generous portion. I would have liked to finish it but couldn't. Couldn't fit in a dessert but took some Victoria sponge cake home for tea. That was amazing so tasty. Friendly staff and great cooking. Never disappointed here. Thank you all. Then bought some bulbs and a winter Berry japonica. Bit of colour for a pot. A little later for bulbs than I'd like but I've been ill. All in all a successful trip.
24/08/2019: There were 7 of us that met up here for lunch today. My husband myself, our 3 grown up daughters, and 2 grandsons.
