Excellent!! Rock pub, waiter with great atmosphere, for a pint after a long shopping trip or to the Museum. I really enjoyed this Pub

Terrible customer service. Very limited drink options and the beer is overpriced for what it is.

Fantastic pub for if you like rock/metal/ punk music. Great beer selection, only downside for me is all the food has cheese to which I have an intolerance but otherwise great.

Our experience with the selection of music very good , just the bar staff are irritating noisy not respectful of their customers very loud .. otherwise a nice pub , would not stay in there if the bar staff carried on being loud and rude !!!’

Tuvimos un gran tiempo en este lugar. Aunque es un poco pequeño, las bebidas son excelentes, y la comida es bastante buena también. Había una mujer pelirroja que estropeó un poco el ambiente, pero debo decir que el personal hizo todo lo posible para manejar la situación. Sin duda volveré!

I've been here a few times totally under the wrong assumption that someone else I'm meeting with likes it. Eventually we discovered none of us like it and we don't have to do this any more! So loud. So cramped.

The place is nice, however I wanted to eat something with a beer, I saw on the internet that they had food and that's why I went, but there was nothing to eat, so I had to have a beer that I had already ordered and I was hungry 😒 “Rock” music seems more pop rock to me, maybe I had other expectations from the place that said rock entertainment and Bowie

No food, only beer. The service and the ambiance is amazing. Honestly a great place to vive if you like the sort of run down style. It smells "wet", don't sit close to the bathroom.

Legendary Rock and Roll pub that’s been around since before The Yardbirds; who drank there while waiting to play a set at The 100 Club.

Always amazing. I love returning to the ship. Their music selection never disappoints. I was surprised that they had a great collection of lo and no alcohol beers available.

Small pub where we stopped for a drink at the end of the day. Good choice of beers, impeccable service. There are even board games to entertain yourself. We saw that they also organize themed evenings.

I visited this place after seeing a show in Leicester square and it was a great find! The staff were great, the DJ was fantastic and the atmosphere was really pleasant / friendly. We were just going in a for a quick pint but stayed for a few as we were really enjoying it. I'd recommend giving this pub a go for a night out 👍

We were told no sandwiches were available despite menus on each table. This is a fairly unpleasant place.

We decided to go to The Ship thanks to the good past reviews, and it was probably a good place indeed. Nonetheless, in July 2024 our experience was dramatic. The waiter was not proactive and did not pay attention to us. At some point, I asked for the menu as I was expecting what was published on here and he said that they are only a drinking spot and so they have only the few sandwiches on the menu. It was not what we expected, but we still choose among the five available sandwiches. When we ordered (no table service, you have to go to the counter) he informed us they had only two of the five sandwiches (why didn't he inform me of that before?!?!), one very basic ham and cheese and one with pastrami, Cheese and Jalapeños. We were running late and so had to accept this and thus we ordered one with pastrami, but would've left if we could have. I ask if jalapeños can be removed and he answers that the sandwiches are premade and simply heated, thus nothing he could do about it. The ingredients were alright, but it was very bad that he didn't inform us that the choice was so limited before. Also, quite expensive, both the sandwich and the beer we had. Later that day we paid special craft beers the same price a couple hundred of meters away from that pub. In other words, keep this in mind if you still want to go

A lively place in Soho centre. Great selection of beers and friendly staff. Had chatted to Kat, one of the places courteous bartenders, while they were serving my drinks and learnt a couple of intriguing facts about the place. A cosy pub with a great atmosphere - great to catch up with friends over a drink or two 😀

It was a quiet Thursday afternoon, just seemed like a typical old man’s pub, nothing special. Music on a playlist was decent. But at £18.90 for a glass of wine and a single JD and coke, we moved on to a more reasonable and lively establishment.

I was walking for 20mins down soho looking for a rock bar all of the other pubs on wardour street were boring as hell me and my friend walked passed the ship and the best music was playing we had an amazing welcome from Kat the deputy manager and carmen the bar member they were so awesome they played are requests looked after us all night i would highly recommend this pub to everyone bravo awesome night

Excellent service, music not overwhelmingly loud allowing actual conversation between the punters! They also made an excellent toastie with a pun-laden name. Recommended

We Went here for a few drinks before our dinner. Good service, no long wait at all to be served. Some pubs you walk in and wait ages to be served, but the The Ship has got this right. My G&T was delicious of course and my partner had a cider from the tap behind bar. We stood ourside wayching Londoners fo anout their day. We enjoyed our drinks here, even came back after our dinner for some more. When we returned it was busier than before, but the focus remained on their punters. Great pub, good staff, very reasonable and they had some good tunes playing too.

One of the best, amazing music amazing service, brilliant staff, must visit

Been here today from 4 to 5.30pm and it was great at first but soon the music was so loud we couldn’t even have a simple conversation!! A whole foo fighters album played at 10000db isn’t the best scenario for a work meeting. Won’t be back and so won’t my colleagues and band members.

To be fair I knew I was there but had a few already, but the weekend is slowly coming back to me 😂 and yes we had a great time in The Ship service was great and drinks were obviously good 👍 😀 Will definitely be stopping in again when we travel down to London

Fantastic little pub. Limited menu only toasties (grilled chess cheese sandwiches) but pretty decent array of beers and spirits. Walked on in on a layover in London and would definitely recommend going back to if you're in the SOHO area.

We came here because someone had reviewed this place as 'legendary' we only stayed for one drink because it was legendarily dull. It's just a pub, with a below average drink selection.

Popped in for a drink late afternoon. The place was empty but just wanted a sit down. Ordered a large white wine and a pint of beer and was charged £15.90! Even around Trafalgar Square was less than £12. Total rip off and avoid.

Passei lá para tomar uma Guiness e ouvir um rock and roll raiz. Típico pub das antigas com alguns já doidões às 17h de uma quinta-feira. Fica perto do prédio do antigo Marquee Club, locais de nascimento de lendas do rock como The Who e Rolling Stones.

A good traditional pub with a long musical history dating back to at least the 60's and the then nearby Marquee club. The service was good and prices reasonable for Soho. They play some great music here, if you like a pub with character then you should visit.

A new favourite pub of mine in Central London. Upon walking in Throne by Bring Me The Horizon was being blasted out so loud you could hear it outside on the street. This should give prospective visitors an insight into the kind of night that awaits at The Ship. Standard Fullers pints being served in tandem with friendly back and forth with the barman. Can’t wait to return…

Bonne musique vintage et bonne atmosphère. Service un peu en déça avec des serveuses qui font la gueule. Un choix de toasts au fromage pas donnés (8£), que je n'ai pas goûté.

A grand spot in Soho for an afternoon break. It wasn't busy. The service was quick, and as a woman alone I rate it WOO friendly.

Classic West End Pub. A haunt of many a rocker over the years and better prices than many in the area. Used to be a frequent haunt of mine before going to the Astoria or Marquee (sadly, both now closed down).

I came here for my birthday my partner ordered at the bar two drinks a double vodka redbull and a pint of lager and it came to £22.80…. Either the barmaid/barman helped himself or the drinks are massively overpriced…. Still confused
