Very good value meals that were quite tasty Abience inside are not all that good as its just a brighty lit big single room..abit like a village social club. Drinks were normally priced.....The area was abit rough..we were confronted by a couple of Arbury boys on the way out asking for ciggerettes..nothing more All in all a ok pub.

Since it's been refurbished, the Ship has become our PTA meeting place. We've had a nice atmosphere, enough space and adequate level of noise for a Thursday night. Our meetings have been run in a smooth and lovely atmosphere in which some committee members were having dinner whilst others just ordered drinks. I recommend it.

we went for Sunday Lunch, having been told the place had been refurbished. we enjoyed a lovely roast meal, everything was cooked to perfection as they say, I had Chicken, and it was chicken breast cooked so still moist and yet tastym the veges were all fresh and varied, cabbage, broccili, carrots, roast spud crispy on the outside, as it should be, so much served up I could not eat it all, my partner had the roast beef he too enjoyed it and had to take a doggy bag home as it was too much for him... the venue looked and felt comfortable, I was impressed the footie was on, but not loud, a few locals in and around, some sitting outside. The atmosphere was calm, and nice, friendly, staff were very obliging, and some good music was being played over the tannoy, making a very enjoyable stop for a Roast Dinner. we shall be going back!

The service was not the best, we had to wait to be served a very long time that we thought to walk out. Pizza is okay but the toppings are below average.

You have to order from the approved which actually makes it easier. The order doesn't get submitted until everyone at your table orders. We got the sampler platter and it was so good! I loved it! Best marinara sauce I've ever had! Get something with the marinara sauce on it! I didn't and it was good but it could've been better. It was super busy so you don't see the server often but they were still nice.

The restaurant experience was expensive, with a Margherita pizza priced at £14.57. They added a 20% VAT and a 10% tip.
