I ordered the big for one, this is make me surprised that very nice seafood! Great food and seafood, good place! Good memory for me in London trip. Thank you Diogo for your excellent service!

We came in for dinner on a recommendation from our cab driver from the airport to our hotel right down the street and we were not disappointed! Diogo was our waiter and he was FANTASTIC!! So nice, so social and had such amazing conversation with us. He was very informative and it was such an amazing experience. Not to mention, the food was DELICIOUS! The steak was VERY tender, lobster was delicious, fries were fresh, burger was light and delicious (I had the veggie burger) and the drinks were made to perfection! We would absolutely recommend!

Must say this area of London is not renown for great restaurants being a bit of a tourist trap ! HOWEVER , this is different .. great seafood , great service ( thanks Tihun ).. will come back for sure . Ps The Octopus was fab

We were served by Diogo- very friendly waiter. The portions were very well sized: we shared a starter, a platter for two and a crème brûlée between the three of us and it was plentiful- left so full and content! I would suggest that if you worry about getting hot seafood being overpowered by cheese, try to go without (cheese).

Brilliant restaurant with a wide selection of sea food options as well as top quality steaks. The restaurant has a very nice, relaxing atmosphere and is very clean, the toilets were exceptionally clean. The staff here are very friendly, offering a lot of details about the food as well. Diogo was our brilliant waiter for our lunch, very funny and insightful! Had a fantastic time for my wife's birthday, who was over the moon when they lit a candle on her desert and sang happy birthday! Will definitely be back soon.

My usual place to go for seafood, been here for a couple of times, and never fail me. Especially this visit I have an absolute nice friendly Diago taking care of me. Will defo return.

Oysters are not fresh. The soup is like canned soup from the supermarket. The seafood platter is the minus which only looks bigger because of some scallop shells on the plate.

Unpleasant service, suspicious smell when you enter, food tastes like nothing

Really awful seafood - the lobster was so dry it was near impossible to remove it from the shell, the octopus was incredibly chewy and difficult to swallow, the scallops were overcooked as were the prawns. One of the worst seafood restaurants in London and with the high prices, we were incredibly disappointed. The staff were pleasant enough and the wine selection is good.

My daughter and I had such an amazing experience for mothers day the food was amazing well presented and absolutely delicious the staff were friendly polite and accommodating the atmosphere the lovely music made the evening all the more enjoyable will be going back I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. We had an early dinner, so we're the fist to arrive, but not long after that more people started to turn up. We were served by Doro and her team who were very friendly and helpful. We had the lobster gratin platter so we were able to try a few different things and everything was delicious and nicely cooked and presented.

I purchased 2 vouchers off of Groupon. I brought my vouchers weeks before attending and 2 hours before I was due to visit the restaurant I received a call to tell me they will not be able to sit my party down all together and we would have to sit separately. I spoke to the restaurant and they advised me that I could get a refund or reschedule if I wanted. As they wasn’t able to seat us all together, I requested a refund. Now I’m having problem receiving a refund as the restaurant doesn’t want to issue it. I’ve asked them to send proof to groupon for them to issue a refund however they refuse too. I wouldn’t want to reschedule my visit as the service as been so poor already. The manger Mick isn’t good either.

I’ve visited The Shell a few times, and customer service has been good. However, the manager's demeanor towards customers is utterly unacceptable—rude and confrontational. Despite redeeming a Groupon voucher, the manager claimed they hadn't received payment. In a phone conversation, he argued about our booking, only to later admit fault on their end. Shockingly, the manager suggested that the cost of our meal would be taken from their employees' pay checks as it was “their mistake”. This unethical behaviour left us with no desire to dine there, as we refuse to have an employee penalised for their employer's mistakes.

Everything perfect! Delicious food and 5-star service! Special thanks to Diogo and the manager (sorry for not remembering his name). Thank you to all the chefs and others for contributing to this experience!

Came here with the mrs for a Xmas present given to me for a Groupon voucher (£40 turns into £80). The meal was brilliantly, the service from Mick was excellent. Cannot fault anything, atmosphere was pleasant at lunchtime and not too busy (Tuesday). If you like seafood and steak, highly recommend this place. We started off with garlic prawns and seafood rice, so much flavour. Mains - steak & lobster, lobster linguine, lobster cooked to perfection. Finished off with crème brûlée. We had a few mocktails, recommend the lychee breeze. Will come here for sure.

Came in on Saturday, and have what can only be described as food poisoning for the past 2 days. Admittedly I guess it could have just been a unfortunate part of the platter or the oysters. The staff were nice but from a seafood lover I have been royally put off.

Food is rather bland, not worth the price. We used a £80 Groupon voucher and still ended up spending another £80 on top of that and we only got a drink and a main. It's unfortunately unseasoned. The staff were nice however and did accommodate in any way they could. We did have to wait around 40+ minutes for our food despite being the only ones there. The sangria was lovely though.

I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and sent an email to the restaurant saying that I bought a voucher on the website. Can I use it? Please reply to me by email as soon as possible. But the restaurant only informed me at the last minute that I cannot use the voucher today and need to make a new reservation on the website... This is my last day in London and my friend came from outer London specially. The restaurant has been shirk Responsibility, saying it is none of their problem. Is the mailbox in the restaurant a decoration? ! No one reads the email? ! So why do you need to set up an email? !

Won't go there again. Chewy lobster , mussels tasted grainy and bad . Prawns in the linguine were raw. In all it was a bad experience.

my fave seafood place in London! this is a true gem. Though we bought this huge we thought could be good for 4 people, it could feed 8 I believe. The chips tasted like butter too

Went for their lunchtime special. Staff were very attentive with plenty of smiles. We went for lobster and steak. The place was clean and spacious and was not busy. We didn't have to wait long and overall a good experience and great value. We will go again and try out the full sea food medley.

Seafood is not fresh, just like the readymade seafood you can buy in the Aldi or other cheap supermarkets. The only thing worth of price is the chips are full of seafood soups and delicious. However, considering this restaurant is in London, spend £40 to eat some readymade food in a beautiful and friendly restaurant seems is acceptable.

A great discovery we came across wanting to have seafood in Central London! Big spacious restaurant, Doro and especially Diogo are very friendly - muito obrigada! 🦐 The menu is varied and there are LOTS of types of platters and combinations, depending on your preferences. Generous portions and tasty sauces, the prawns, mussels, gratinated oysters are all yum! The Lobster Linguine was divine but quite pricey, overall I think was it 🦞 We didn't realise that there were weekday lunch specials too, would be good to try them out next time 🙌🏻

Como portuguesa e chef de cozinha so tenho que dizer uma coisa ,CHEF vai aprender cozinhar e comportar afrente dos clientes,primeiro nunca vem afrente de um cliente com braços cruzados a querer intimidar e segundO aprende a cozinhar marisco pk alem de estar overcooked nao tinha sabor nem a mar pk consiguiste ate isso tirar ,eu ainda estou chocada como dono de restaurante te deixa cozinhar .Ostras gratinadas deve levar algo mais alem de chedeer(tenta fazer um bechamel antes de queijo (chedeer nao e queijo apropiado para ostras) Lagosta ELA JA E CONGELADA COZIDA nao cozer ela otra vez vira boracha. Camarao mesma coisa overcooked. Sopa e ostras cruas estavam boas. Salmao seco e queimado. Arroz de marisco tenta fazer um fumet vai te sair melhor . Marisco nao fresco. Saiste-me ca uma vergonha para chefes portugueses. Esse review e para o chef diretamente nao para restaurante,um chef levate o restaurante no topo ou no vosso caso leva a falencia ,muita atencao a quem confia a cozinha.

이탈리아여행, 영국여행에서 가장 맛있게 먹은곳임. 너무 짜지도않고 적절한 간과 싱싱한 해산물에 디저트까지 먹으니 200파운드나 나왔지만 ㅠㅠㅠ 둘이서 각자 플래터 1개씩 시키고 파스타추가 문어다리추가 콜라 2-3잔먹으니 디저트까지 너무 잘먹긴함. 처음에 나온 저 자작한 국물의 해물밥 진짜 맛있으니까 꼭 시키세요. 파스타랑 문어다리도 괜찮았지만 랍스터랑 해물밥이 제일 좋았음
