This is a little gem of a place. Warm, welcoming and between English Bridge and the Abbey. Terrific cakes too. A wonderful addition to Shrewsbury's enviable array of great coffee shops. As the sign says, 'Eat your cake fast so your Fitbit will think you are working out'.

This is a hidden gem! We’ve been here twice now for hot drinks and not been disappointed. The biscoff hot chocolate and latte are amazing and the staff put tlc into making them. It’s only small but so quaint inside. Defo support this local business! We look forward to our next visit :-)

We stopped in on the late morning for a snack and a hot beverage on a chilly rainy day. It's a delightful space! The coffee and chai were wonderful and expertly made. The atmosphere in the cafe was cozy and plenty of neat things to look at while snacking. A hidden gem!

Was looking for a place to grab a coffee before we returned to Liverpool, crossed over the bridge and found this little place on the corner. On the recommendation of another customer we had a Mexican mocha and some home-made cakes, the place was so lovely and friendly we will definitely make another visit on our next trip. Thank you,

Genuinely addicted to the hot chocolates! The lattes and coffees have a wide range of flavourings as well as the hot choc which is nice.

Working nearby that day I bought a take away coffee at 930am. Coffee and service were great and so I decided to treat myself to a light meal and more coffee after work, about 230pm. I was the only customer and two young girls came in with a small dog and sat by me. The dog attempted to get on the low table where my food was and I indicated pleasantly to these other customers that this was not acceptable, they removed the dog, grinning to themselves, and then allowed it to do the same thing again about 3 minutes later, and so I asked them again to control the dog.They then turned their backs to me and played with their mobile phones whilst the dog again entered my space where I was trying to eat and drink my purchases. As both the dog and the girls were out of control I picked up my food and drink and moved to another part of the cafe.When I left, the staff/owner apologised to me for what happened. I responded that it was not their fault. I told them that whereas it was kind of them to allow customers to bring in pets, that it should be borne in mind that other paying customers may not welcome then having to deal with selfish customers who cannot be bothered to take responsibility for their pet dog.

Cozy, quirky cafe serving the best hot chocolate. Family friendly & particularly magical at Christmas but amazing all year round.

Loved going into this place for coffee. Coffee and cakes are terrific and the atmosphere is great. U like the standard coffee place this has real character with great funky decor and cool cool music!

I drink a lot of coffee and there are plenty of great coffee shops in Shrewsbury. But The Shed does the best coffee in Shrewsbury. If you are passing get one to take out, or if you have time stop and sample one of their cakes. Simply the best coffee.

Lovely cake (raspberry and coconut slice) and delicious milk shake. Interesting cafe, with chilled vibe.

Love this cute little arty café. Amazing cakes and drinks, and really friendly owners. Coffee is great, and I have to recommend the hot chocolates, they come in some incredible flavours with all the toppings (personal favourite is salted caramel). I would often stop here as my little treat after an exam at the next door sixth form; this place got me through A levels!

Stopped by on my way to work yesterday and had an original hot chocolate! Came with cream, marshmallows and a wafer and was delicious! Owner was very friendly, will be making it my regular 😊

Just rehearsing for a gig at the nearby Abbey earlier in the year and wanted a coffee in the break. So just walked along with a colleague as I had heard good reports about the Shed.Really friendly staff. Got a take away. Lovely coffee. Just the job - cheers !

I went to the shed every week for two years straight for a hot chocolate as my college was a minute away.

Love the Shed! friendly staff and so imaginative with drinks!!! I highly recommended this shop and all it has to offer.

Oh dear after reading such good reviews very disappointed asked what was the bonbom older assistant no idea so asked the other assistant it is not in no explanation so ordered flat white friend had cappuccino mine more expensive not impressed not hot either

If you have never been, you must try this coffee shop. The coffee is up there with the best in Shrewsbury, much better than the large chains. On this occasion we only had coffee, but the food looks good too.

The coffee here is great. I drink a lot of coffee and have tried most places in Shrewsbury, this is now my favourite for flavour. Can't comment on the cakes or anything else.

The Shed had a large range of coffee and my personal favourite: hot chocolate! They are served in tin mugs.

The Shed is a lovely find, just outside the centre across the river. Drinks were best I've tasted in a long time and the food was unique and very tasty too, despite the reasonable prices. Definitely recommend. Don't have any but kids would love the downstairs bit ♡

The Shed hot chocolates are legendary across college campuses and the café itself has the most beautiful indie chill vibe with really nice staff. If you're gonna do one thing in Shrewsbury, The Shed is one place you've got to go.

Found this place when we looking for somewhere to kill an hour in Shrewsbury, but I’m really glad we found this place. it’s a quirky little old corner shop, full of bits of clutter., just opposite the Abbey. The coffee is good and there is a range homemade cakes. There’s also various teas and shakes as I recall.

Forget the big chains - stop here for the caffeine fix, before the lovely Shrewsbury shops. Excellent coffee - well worth the stop

It's a real gem of a little coffee shop, great drinks and yummy sweet treats . It's a great pit-stop on a trip in or out of town. The young couple that run it are a delight and take a real pride and care in what they do. I wish them every success. They deserve to see their business flourish!

Great little place this - with friendly and enthusiastic service. Good if you are walking into or out of town and you need just to rest a bit away from the bustle of the centre of Shrewsbury. Not a big place but different areas to sit in - comfy area, table area, bar stools at the window. Excellent hot drinks come in old style enamelled mugs and the delicious cake in similar enamelled bowls (not so sure I am a fan of the bowls - remind me a bit of an operating theatre!). You must stop here - unpretentious and good at what it does. We will be going again.

Just had aa really really really nice hot chocolate with strawberry and white chocolate. Ever so sweet, but ever so warm and really really really nice.

My husband is a coffee connoisseur, so I am always a bit wary of taking him anywhere new for a coffee. However, he was duly impressed with the espresso - so much so that he bought a bag of beans to take home. Go here if you want a caffeine fix! Great stuff.

A great atmosphere, arty, quirky and comfortable furniture, lovely food and drink. Small, but there is more seating in a second room, furnished with the latest retro stuff for sale. The owner and staff are friendly without being nosey, and the cakes are delicious.

Popped into this little coffee shop while visiting Shrewsbury and were duly impressed. Staff were friendly and prices very reasonable. If you like hot chocolate this is the place to go as there are many flavours of hot choc to pick from (as well as plain) and all come with fresh cream and marshmallows. Wished this place was closer to home.

Visiting Shrewsbury fir the folk festival, we received a warm welcome and friendly conversation. Good coffee too :)

I popped in on a whim whilst out for a lunch time walk. Glad I did! Excellent coffee, service with a smile and a wide choice of drinks and snacks. Really like the idea of the dice if you cannot make your mind up! Will definitely pop in again for coffee.

I always stop by to get a coffee before which first and foremost is excellent. I don't have anything fancy just a latte but it's very good. The owner is very engaging and we usually have a nice chat about the football or the state of the traffic in Shrewsbury! The cake selection is amazing and he did say there will be cake to follow. All in all a great local company who looks to be doing well.

Our first visit to this coffee shop but it won't be our last. A very friendly atmosphere and great coffee - we'll definitely be back on our next visit to Shrewsbury.

The Shed is a gem on near the English Bridge and Abbey Foregate serving a fine selection of reasonably priced coffee, cakes and sandwiches. The coffee is good but the staff - Tim and Noah - are excellent being very customer focussed and will do anything reasonable to ensure you have an enjoyable experience be it in-house of takeway. The twist is the small antiques emporium at the rear of the cafe. Highly recommended. Therefore I visit several times each week.

Lovely service, incredibly beautiful shop, better drinks than any chain coffee shop, with very reasonable prices... Nothing to fault.

Our first visit to this delightful coffee shop I really enjoyed my hot chocolate with cream, marshmellows and wafer, my daugther loved the white hot chocolate and hubby thought the flat white coffee was the best he'd had for a long time. Would definately go back next time we're in Shrewsbury and definately recommend. Thanks.

Having an overnight visit to Shrewsbury and came across this place by pure accident.

I tend to call in for a coffee and a cake on a Saturday on my way back from taking my dog in the park. Great service, great coffee, nice cakes plus you can have a pootle around the back room antiques.

Popped in on my way back from the town centre for a hot chocolate and it's AMAZING!! It really is the best hot chocolate in Shrewsbury.
