The Shama in Broxtowe

We ordered from there because it was showing 20 mins to deliver but it took more than an hour to deliver which was very disappointing as atleast they should mention it in there

Food was incredible, curry was a little watery but delicious. All the food was warm when arrived too. Delivery took a very long time compared to what it said originally - only negative to say.

First of all I want to say how brilliant our delivery driver was. He’s polite, funny and professional. Now the food !! Well this is the first time I’ve ordered. The food came from wollerton to Eastwood. The food was piping hot, but most of all the food was 💯 delicious. Delicious is an understatement. The amount of food for the price is phenomenal. Basically all I’m saying is wow and a big thank you to the chef 🧑‍🍳

I can't recommend this place highly enough! Yes, like a lot of Indian takeaway it is quite expensive but the quality is very high. The food is all delicious (the samosas are INCREDIBLE) and they deliver very quickly.

Ordered from Belper not realising it's in Notts but absolutely worth the wait. Tastiest Indian takeaway I've had in a long time.

Ordered a set meal for 2. With a portion of chips and a bottle of coke. Was missing the chips with my order. But food was amazing! Nice size portions of food with loads left over. We had butter chicken and tikka masala, very nice! Thank you but don’t forget the chips next time, partner was so sad! Lol ☺️

It was supposed to be a hot tikka masala, there was no taste to it at all it was just hot, tasted nothing like a masala, had no flavour at all, the mint yogurt was off and tasted stale, the mushroom rice was just full of big peppers, I will not be ordering from there again, very very disappointing

Never again mixed meat biryani for 15.96 pounds and its not even proper biryani. Too expensive i can get 4 proper biryanis in this price frm hyson green.

First time ordering from here and I have to say it was out of this world fast delivery food still piping hot and finally a takeaway that does the real yogurt sauce the green one and the mango lassi is by Far the best I have tasted I'm from Yorkshire and it's been a while since I have had that sort of food if I could give it more stars I would highly recommend is this place food is beautiful

Always enjoyed Shama previously, but this order was continually delayed. What should have arrived in 30 mins took 1hr40 from ordering. Food was fine, but had I known it was going to take that long from the outset, I never would have ordered.

I ordered a chicken tikka rogan josh with a garlic and coriander naan bread and poppadom with mango chutney. Delivery was early and the delivery driver was very friendly and polite. All of the food was absolutely delicious and I really highly recommend it. Amazing. Thanks.

Great food but always running very late compared to the collection time on the app. Had a notification to collect but had another 20 mins to wait as they were busy. Very popular, but timings are unreliable.

Amazing food probably one of the best I’ve had

Tried for first time..chicken wings were tender and tasty but not charred like I'd hoped and not the sauce I was expecting but still good. Chicken kebab was absolutely delicious! Really good flavoured chicken in a naan bread with a fresh salad, nice touch slice of orange aswell as lots of lemon wedges throughout, accompanied with one of the best tasting mint yogurt dips I've tried. Will definitely be ordering again thank-you 😊

Lovely and fresh. Great tasting. Only negative was the Garlic and Cheese Naan bread was tasteless with no signs of either garlic or cheese.

Not too worried about the lateness as its Saturday night but my veg balti fusion was very watery and tasteless. Used to enjoy Sharma but been disappointed the last 2 times I've ordered so think its time to try somewhere else sadly.

Didn’t realise how far we are away from Shama until after I’d ordered, 35 min drive. I was expecting to have our order cancelled or it be delivered cold. Our food was delivered by a friendly delivery guy, food was perfect. Best take away I’ve had.

Not much meat in the kebab and it was all over the place in the box. The chips were rock hard to. Live and learn

Didn’t realise when ordering that they were 30 minutes away!! But even with this the food arrived on time on a busy Saturday night and hot. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Will definitely order again (as long as they don’t mind the drive! 😆)

Terrible service and food was cold and all greasy I called and asked for a refund and they said they would ring me back but never did so I would like a full refund, I spent over £70 and it was late, cold, oily and I didn’t even get any popadoms which is abysmal!!! Over 1 hour late it’s ridiculous!!!

It took over 2 hours to get my food. I appreciate places get busy but surly 2 hours isn't fate. If they can't fulfill and order they shouldn't take it. I ordered just father 9pm and received our food at 11.20ish.

I understand takeaways will take a lot longer today due to it being Valentine’s Day but over 1 & half hours is bit of a joke. Then to be delivered Luke warm tandoori chicken which I had to heat up is very disappointing. 3 stars were given as the rest of the order can fairly hot, 2 stars were given for delivery only because I was informed twice my order has been delayed. Okra was nice but you don’t get much, it was more like sauce with a few little bits of okra.

Always give credit when credits due but on this occasion not so satisfied. Order from here regularly, only place I order from. But tonight with it being valentines they were extra busy. Food was rushed and delivery time was appalling. I understand you are busy but instead of giving false delivery times and rushing food maybe just reject some orders so you can catch up with your back log instead of annoying customers.
