The Sexton Arms in Carmarthenshire

Came here with a group of friends to celebrate Xmas together in november last year. I phoned ahead and the landlord was more than happy to accommodate us and stay open later for us. What can I say. We were made to feel so welcome and this pub will always hold a special place in my heart and I am sure my friends would agree. Thank you so much for your hospitality

Stopped when out for drive with my partner kids and friend, lovely atmosphere, the staff member we met at the bar (I'm assuming was the owner) was very nice, offered colouring books for the kids and water for our dog who was welcome inside. We stopped for drinks and had some snacks, we didn't have food.

NO LONGER DOES MEALS. Village pub with Gower Gold ale and usual lagers & cider. Open 6.00pm to 7.30pm only. May stay open later on Thurs & Fri if there are customers. Closed on Sundays. Lounge & a separate bar room. Children allowed in lounge. Fireplace in lounge and stove in bar to sit by on cold evenings. NO FOOD - but does have crisps and nuts. Allows well behaved dogs.

Cliff is lovely and is really welcoming to our residents tonight, the decorating is very nice and the fireside chairs really suit the bar area 👍

Excellent place to socialise, great pool table and dart board as well as a huge function room, very friendly landlord.

A local inn for everyone. One of the best pubs with ‘real’ characters. Open evenings most days but with restricted food service (see the picture for times). Closed on a Sunday lunch but we happened to be passing when the Llansadwrn Racing Club were in for a meet up. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a drink and a free hotdog. Curry night on a Monday was a terrific event bringing in people from all around. If you are staying locally or even passing through, you must stop in to say hello to Cliff and the team. This pub should be proud to be a real community hub.

Ive been going here for many years and the welcome and food/drink is brilliant. I think I've had everything on the menu over the years and can say that everything is very tasty. Cliff is the best host I've ever encountered. Please try this place, I guarantee you won't regret it.

Nos alojamos en Llansadwrn durante una semana y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos en el pub, a pesar de observar en Gales Inglaterra pegando el 6 naciones en nuestra primera noche. El propietario y la gente era muy servicial con información local. La comida era buena, honesto y bien preparada comida de pub. El ale osb de Swansea fue excelente. Volvimos un mes más tarde para una comida y fue como volver a nuestro local con una bienvenida muy cálida y ponerse al día con un gran número de personas. El pub hace mucho para fomentar la inclusividad, celebrar un número de clubes y el epítome de la mejor aspectos de un activo de la comunidad. Nos gustaría que realmente era nuestro local.

Estábamos alojados localmente y este pub fue recomendado. El personal es cálido y acogedor y la comida excelente y muy buena relación calidad-precio. El aparcamiento es un poco limitado, pero no era ningún problema. Mucha variedad en el menú y los especiales junta, tuve un cordero hermosamente tierna y mi marido disfrutó igualmente excelente pieza de sobresaliente. Había un montón de cosas y ninguno de nosotros pudo manejar un desierto.

Queríamos un lugar para comer el lunes por la noche y el pub fue recomendado. El lunes por la noche, sirven una variedad de curry por un precio razonable pero sólo entre 6-8 pm. Aunque era justo después de Navidad, sólo había unas pocas personas en, así que teníamos el sitio para nosotros. Ver antes de viajar aquí como parece como si la apertura no son todos los días y no siempre sirven comida.

Without doubt the best local pub in the world. The owner (Cliff) has done a huge amount to bring life back to the community. I suggest you come and sample his hospitality and have a chat with the locals.
