This and the Mermaid are my favourite pubs in the IoS. This has a great interior, full of history! I had a sausage sandwich and it was superb! Beer was good, service fast and friendly. The terrace outside is great on a sunny day and they have facilities for visiting sailors. Good beer, good food, atmosphere and friendly staff - what more could you want?

Best pub on the Isles of Scilly

Been here a few times. Very ignorant staff at the best of times. If this was on the mainland it wouldn't last five minutes. They have the monopoly over trade . I know they have to pay well over the top just to lease the place but that really isn't the customers fault. I would give my hind teeth to live back on St Martin's but had to leave in 1987 due to no place to live . If I was running this place I would make everyone feel at home and not just put the locals first.

A great pub with a great view and great food. We had the grilled octopus with a chorizo and tomato cassoulet. There was a good amount of octopus which was cooked to perfection. The cassoulet had an intense tomato flavour. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Stopped to have a mid morning coffee and a bite (yes cake!) view lovely from outside pub. Dogs welcome, and so was the local bird life! Be prepared to share crumbs (albeit unintentionally!) with garden birds. Lovely pub internally too. Staff welcoming.

Brilliant pub great food and the best views ..

Average meal that was over priced, I had chicken skewer on flatbread, should have been 2 in my opinion and it consisted of 3 bits of chicken, pepper and onion-should have had mushrooms, again in my opinion. My husband he had the burger- he liked it but wouldn’t pay £20 for the same meal at home. Wouldn’t come here again for food but alcohol is reasonably priced. Service slow but was busy, many people waiting for food. Good atmosphere, need to work more on the food.

Stayed on St. Martin's for the World Gig Championship and ended up spending a couple of nights here and a Sunday afternoon. Everything a local pub should be. Great beer, friendly locals and staff with lovely food. The view for the garden is pretty special too

Great view from the pub, The food was ok, the beer average, a bit disappointed that on 2 occasions the bar staff either couldn't add up or tried to rip us off, over charging and under delivering. The main disappointment was all of the screaming kids running riot in the pub, just not my scene, call me old-fashioned but not what i expected in a pub. Deserts are very overpriced and miniscule.

By far and away the finest pub on the whole of St Martins. (And also very good compared to pubs elsewhere)

We had an amazing afternoon here eating lobster and Charing with their celebrity chef.

Another iconic IoS experience. Soak up the view, hand feed the birds and enjoy a pint. Spectacular views, the food looked great, and the staff were friendly. Oddly, the gents toilets are interestingly designed.

Friendly staff serving a variety of ales, lagers, ciders, wine etc and a good menu to suit all. Superb views over Neck of the Pool and St Mary's. They have plenty of seating inside and outside

This pub has gone through a number of different owners and situations since I first visited St Martin's in 2007, including a period in the mid-2010s when it, and the large hotel/restaurant near the quay was closed. I was therefore delighted to find both establishments back open on my recent visit in June! The Seven Stones has a range of outdoor seating, and even an outdoor pool table😁, plus lots more seating inside too. The decor is very much a British pub - lots of wood - and it is a cosy sort of space. The range of beers and ciders were excellent, as was the range of spirits - many of which were produced locally! The SC Dogs rum is made within about a mile of the Seven Stones - we toured the distillery while we were there, greatly recommended! Our party of 4 stuffed our faces that evening, with truly incredible food. The burger was sensational, as were the ribs that my father-in-law ordered. There is plenty of fresh local fish on the menu too. The Seven Stones is a St Martin's institution, you simply MUST visit.

It was too early for us to eat a great looking menu. It was a fantastic surprise totally unexpected. Yes it does have one of the greatest views going. If you're walking on St. Martins is difficult to miss. Don't you'll regret it.

Stopped for lunch. Party of 4 had pasty, jacket spuds x2 and Coronation chicken ciabatta, all were great! Service was exceptional. Friendly and efficient 🙂

It may be the only pub on St Martins, but it definitely is worth a visit

Amazing pub. The decor is also phenomenal! Edit: This year's visit did not live up to expectations. Ordered mozzarella and pesto ciabatta but it has no pesto in it, so it was just a cheese sandwich Disappointing.

We spent 5 weeks on St Martin's Campsite on the Isles of Scilly in June and part of July this year, best campsite ever and ate at the Seven Stones Pub many times. The food was very good and the staff were great. The atmosphere created by the staff was exceptional, they had a smile and chat with everyone who came in and nothing was too much trouble for them. Well done Chess, Emily and the 2 Sophies and all the other staff, you really are a great team.

Wonderful pub in all ways, very nice staff, great food and beer, superb setting on beautiful St. Martins. I really hope to come back someday.

Sophie2, Dylan, Chess and Emily are supported by an excellent chef providing the ideal service for island visitors; their playlist is second to none too. Drinks (great selection of well kept ales) were reasonably priced, food was filling and promptly served and the atmosphere was the right balance of locals, seasonnaires, hotel clients and hearty/hardy campers.

Good luck if you are not white. I was totally ignored until my white British boyfriend and his family joined me later. Long story to short. They are disgusting.

Bloody 'ansum vegan options. We were both in awe at the size of the vegan salad; absolutely stacked full of veggies with quinoa too. The vegan burger was lovely with fresh salad and tomato, with a quality faux meat patty. The chips were great and certainly a favourite among the sparrows. Great local beers and gins too! Great vibe! Friendly staff! Great Views!

Just the most idyllic place…Dom and Emily have made this into a very special place…incredible views and food…cool decor and well kept beers. Bank holiday had the guys from the Scilly Folk Festival playing….rounded off by attentive friendly staff! We will definitely be back! 😎😉

The Sunday lunch was superb, and the service was excellent. My partner is still talking about the best French onion soup she's ever had.

Great pub. Stunning views and very friendly staff, came here for a lunch with our 14month old, and had high chair and childrens menu. Nice food, but the highlight is the sunny views with a nice cold beer.

It's worth paying a little extra for today's catch of the day(brill that came with chips and salad). Although the hake with chimechri and new potatoes was also delicious

Absolutely fabulous food. Not cheap but worth every penny. The view is gorgeous and the pub itself really quirky. The staff, and in fact the customers, are all so friendly. So accessible from our hotel nearby too. So good we ate there twice and we were only there for 4 days!

What a super place to experience. Great food, good wine, super staff and all within a clever and unique ship styled environment!! The owners are incredibly talented and creative and have turned the building into a unique environment filled with authentic wooden ship antiquities. Of an evening they turn out the lights and the atmosphere is lit with candle light and fairy lights with a great choice of music. The building is situated in the lower town part of the island and is easily accessible. The menu is minimal and reasonable and home-cooked on the premises. A definite treat of a place to dine out and experience.

Friendly and attentive staff with great views.

Had about an hour and a half before we returned to St. Mary's, we had already walked past this place after getting off the boat and said we would come back after exploring the island. We walked to the beach at the opposite end of the island to the pub. The sun then came out as we made our way slowly back. We weren't disappointed the staff were friendly and the setting was lovely, we had a large glass of wine each and the prices were very competitive. Quirky interior and seating area outside we really enjoyed it there.

The view from the sevenstones is stunning! Definitely add it to your must do itinerary whilst you are on the island! Good choice of ales and lagers. Staff friendly. Ate here last time but food finishes at 2.30 and starts again at 6.

If there's a better pub anywhere in the world... I want to know about it! The view is heaven on earth. The atmosphere is lovely. They could easily trade on the location and churn out bog standard food, but no, it is phenomenally good (tried most dishes - the ribs are probably the standout!). There's a great area for kids to play. And when they had music on, the atmosphere went to a whole new level. This place is awesome.

Nestled up a hill on a beautiful island. Light bite and kids options available. Ample seating outside to take in the views.

Lovely place and my food was great, unfortunately the kids fish was pretty chewy, maybe over cooked.

Lovely old fashioned and rustic with good beers

Walked across St Martin and this Inn was up a fairly steep hill. But it is most definitely worth it. We arrived at lunchtime and there were plenty of tables outside, although it did get very busy. The interior of the inn is lovely, rather let people discover it rather than describe it. We decided to have a meal and the food was lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even though it was busy, the wait time for food was minimal. Lovely views from the terrace. Highly recommended place.
