The Secret Beach Bar & Kitchen in Swansea

It wasn't a great experience at all as we were surrounded by dogs and the smell of dog and dog hair was unbearable , I'm a dog owner but there sound be an area for dogs

Have been here before and couldn’t fault it. Unfortunately this experience wasn’t so good. Ok, so we hadn’t booked, but we were seated swiftly outside. This wasn’t a problem as it was a lovely day. Our drinks orders were taken and delivered ( although the order was wrong). I asked if we could order food with our drinks as we were ready to order. Apparently this isn’t possible??? Strange as you pay at each order so surely it would not only save the transaction fee but two visits to the table by your server. Anyway we were told someone would take our food order as soon as the drinks arrived. This did not happen ( we had asked a couple of waiting staff too) Over a good 45 minutes later, and people who arrived after us having their orders taken, we were finally asked what we would like to order Food arrived luke warm. And due to the air temperature dropping ( time of day) but we had been there almost an hour and a half, our food was cold before we’d even got half way through our meal. I will say that the food was good but needed to be warmer when served , and service needs to be much better.

Welcoming atmosphere, food great a d John our server was so friendly and great service. I recommend this cafe/restaurant any time of the day. Their Sunday lunch is awesome to, really generous portions a d the nut roast is amazing!!

Yet again another great meal and excellent service. A warm welcome and our table was ready , fantastic service from Jake, who was very happy to check on things for us before we finally ordered.

Had lunch here for first time, after multiple other visits just for drinks. Brought the dog this time as well. Food is good for such a small place. The staff are also great -"l just the right level of service. If this was on a beach in Nice, rather than the exotic views of Swansea Bay 😃

Had planned to go to Mumbles but due to a traffic jam, we did U turn and ended up in The Secret bar & kitchen. What a stroke of luck! So glad we did. Food, coffee and service was amazing. John, our server, was so helpful and pleasant. So impressed, we will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

Gabriel was amazing, quick and efficient. The food was delicious, compliments to the chefs! Drink choice was devine and the view on the bay was stunning. Congrats team!
