Food was really tasty and price was worthed.

Lovely little place just off the High Street Swansea. The food was beautiful. Fresh Nans cooked as we were there, and I was offered to take my left over Nan home, I had it with soup the next day. It smelt delicious and tasted delicious. First time I've been to AWA, but I will definitely be back with my family to taste more of their beautiful food. Service was lovely and efficient. Polite and welcoming. There is nothing too much trouble for the staff. We had mint tea to finish. Lovely atmosphere.

Been coming to this place for years and I have to say this time around, the service has been fantastic especially by a young man called Tom, he gave exceptional service yesterday especially when it was myself, my husband and our two children. He went above and beyond with providing great service, asking if we need anything else and with a big smile and very professional and friendly. In the past, we haven't had the greatest service with some of their past servers who seemed clueless, rude, abrupt, unhelpful and just stood around looking like a pretty mannequin. This time around well done to Awa Management, you have improved immensely and also the ladies toilets have been upgraded and you have finally put a separate baby changing facility so that's excellent. The food was fab, portion was great. Keep on hiring good workers like Tom, trust me your business will flourish even more!

Food was mid. Wouldnt get the food from here again. Our waiter was quite strange giving funny looks when giving simple requests like changing culterly etc. £24 for my whole meal not worth it.

First visit with my family to Awa for my husband’s birthday. Warm welcome from staff. Really helpful advising what to choose especially for me being vegetarian. Beautiful home cooked breads and all food was delicious! Amazing portions sizes so great value for money. Wonderful atmosphere and mint tea was a lovely touch. Took us back to our holidays in Morocco and Turkey. We shall definitely visit again and the kids said they have a new place to visit whilst in town rather than going to the faceless fast food joints!! Thank you so much x

This spot is great for a solo hangout or a date with someone. Moxktails and juice drinks are really good with good prices. The food was as expected, very tasty

First time trying this place awa grill and first time visiting Swansea me and my wife loved it delicous food we got the mixed grill and the classic mojitos. Mojitos were still rather than fizzy but still tasted refreshing more like a lemon and mint lemonade. The mixed platter meat was tender and flavourful and the mint tea they gave after was delicous too. We asked if we could buy a box of the tea bags but they said not allowed to sell, that would be my bad point, but understandable! Also don't get juice no.14 unless you really like the taste of banana, the banana really overpowers the other fruits in the juice, but the manager kindly swapped it for a different one and didn't even charge us for the swap! Amazing food and customer service!

One of the best middle eastern restauran in swansea, Food is superb!! For starter, we ordered chicken wings and kings prawns, fresh juice, and for the main, shawarma w/ chips. And they gave us a complimentary tea with baklava. It so lush.❤️❤️ We definetely back for sure.. 😊😊 Staff are amazing and kind.. Thank you☺️☺️😊

If you haven't tried this restaurant, then you're missing out. I've been there three times so far, and the food always arrives fresh and delicious. There's a Syrian chef named Aziz or Abdul Aziz, and I chatted with him a bit after placing a takeaway order. He's a nice guy and so passionate about his heritage and food. He made us feel welcomed. 🌹

The food quality seems to leave more more disappointed each visit. These place was 9nce the highlight of my visits to swansea, but I notice that they seem to jave become lazy, recieve vine wraps straight from the fridge, steak that's dry. Their drinks are still top notch and their service is lovely

Lovely Restaurant let down a little by the slow service. They have a large menu covering kebabs, Burgers and cooked meets. All cooked fresh and the mixed Kofte with Bulgar I had was excellent. The juice menu is huge and is again all freshly prepared. It’s just a shame that despite them not being busy we waited quite a long time to order, and then had to chase up our drinks.

Excellent fresh juices with a lot of options and good lunchtime deals on offer The food consistency has gone down a bit, and a discretionary service charge is added, which is fine but does not justify the service as they need more staff on busy times.

Brilliant place to have halal food in South Wales , we came all the way from Llanelli to this restaurant and did not regret . The food was on top, especially the Chicken Shawarma and Kofta Kebab. The service is outstanding , the brother was very welcoming and even handed us a free baclava box to enjoy with family . Absolutely recommend to anyone in town.

My review is for takeaway- so cant comment on atmosphere. I ordered the lamb chops with bulgar. The whole meal was very delicious- and a bonus healthy too. I am a foody and live to eat put so when i give a good review you can trust it is reliable. I highly recommend this when you don't feel like cooking or you are too busy. Great value for money. Comes woth salad and a flat bread. I ordered for one and would feed 2 easily. Definatley ordering again from Awa Grill.

The restaurant had a very homely feel due to the traditional interior. We were served by incredibly welcoming and friendly staff, especially Tala, who provided excellent customer service and recommended us some great dishes. The presentation of the food was lovely and the drinks we ordered were so fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, and would come again.

My recent experience with AWA Restaurant was disappointing due to the poor quality of the food. The chicken dish I ordered was overcooked and dry, lacking the flavors advertised on the menu. Additionally, the packaging seemed haphazard, resulting in spillage and a messy presentation upon delivery. When I reached out to the restaurant about the issue, their response was prompt, and they offered a refund for the affected dish. While I appreciate their responsiveness, the overall experience was tarnished by the food quality, making it hard to overlook. Unfortunately, this experience significantly impacted my perception of the restaurant, and I'm hesitant to order from them again. I hope they address these issues to provide better quality meals in the future

POOR Hygiene & TERRIBLE customer service ( waiter been rude and unprofessional ) Our Saturday evening at AWA Restaurant was overshadowed by the appalling conduct of one of the waiters. Not only did this individual use offensive language in front of our group of friends, but he also handled food after touching his nose without any regard for basic hygiene. This lack of professionalism and respect for customers' experience tainted what should have been an enjoyable evening. It's disappointing that such behavior was allowed to occur in a restaurant setting. Management needs to address these issues promptly to maintain the restaurant's reputation and ensure a pleasant dining experience for all patrons." Working away from home stayed in Swansea city centre walked in as a table for one fist ordered a main mixed kebab absolutely lovely meal really flavoursome kebabs.

Been going to Awa for years, not sure who owns it now but can see some great improvement to customer service, generous portions, good price and quality food.

Had the Piri Piri burger, and omg it was so succulent and juicy, it was a delight to eat And the juice drinks are trust me a taste sensation. Definitely one for everyone to try

Tried the mixed koftas , but the lamp one was not edible at all so that’s less and almost burned. The chicken kofta was fair not bad. Also took the chicken shish fairly similar to any shish, nothing special so also fair. I was expecting more of a special flavour or spices in the restaurant. I don’t recommend it because there are other tastier halal as well grill restaurants in Swansea. However, the restaurant does have a variety of drinks and juices that are non Alcoholic too. Atmosphere is fair , cleanliness is good. Good location. easy to spot

Went here with a group of friends on a Tuesday night and it was nice to see the place busy. The service was fantastic and the food was on another level. Had the sharing platter for 4 and it was perfect. Will definitely be returning

Awa Grill is hands down my favourite restaurant in Swansea. The food is fresh and delicious and portions are generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. Try the mix mezzas, the wraps, and the gorgeous handmade fruit drinks.

It is a Turkish restaurant and serves mostly delicious and famous turkish dishes particularly bar-b-q. One of most favorite item available is fresh juices which are of various types.Single or mutiple fresh juices are served here which are highly delicious and are helpful in digestion of the foods.

I’ve been going here for years and have not had a single bad experience. Top quality food, great service, what more could you want. The fruit juices are freshly made and taste amazing! Overall, one of the best food establishments in Swansea.
