Super friendly atmosphere to eat my post long bike ride porridge with fruit and honey and a Cortado that any Spanish barista would be proud of.

The vegan breakfast always hits the spot it has avo and spinach on it the staff warm hearted and upbeat my little go to perch for an afternoon coffee social, welcoming cafe

Just a normal no frills little cafe with delicious food 😋 Vegetarian and vegan options galore. Vegan breakfast is amazing and so is the vegetarian half pint of chilli. Great service. Love this place.

Really disappointed used to come here all the time, had a bad experience with the vegan breakfast a few months ago. Decided to give it another go today only to have the same problem. First off my coffee was luke warm so I asked if I could have it made again which the lady was absolutely great with and made me a new one. However, the vegan breakfast was shocking. .we paid £2 extra each for the scrambled tofu to be added only for our food to arrive without it. The server told us it was in amongst the spinach to which I found 3 tiny pieces. I asked if we could have more which she said would be fine, a long wait later the chef came out with a small bowl of the tofu.. we had finished our food and I said there was no point having it- he shrugged his shoulders and left it on the table. Since I had complained about the coffee I didn't want to cause hassle again but I wish I had asked for my money back £25 spent on two breakfasts which weren't the best anyway is shocking, won't be coming back again.

Vegetarian cafe, lovely atmosphere, great food, and the cakes in here are absolutely divine. Still my favourite place to go for a quick bite.

Went with 2 work friends had the lasagne was so hard on top had to hit with the knife so hard to break through. The only thing I can think is that it must have been microwaved as you would not get that hardness in the oven. Disappointing when you are spending just shy of £10 with a coffee.

Filthy, the floor was covered in crumbs, hairs, toenails etc. The food was sized in ok portions, but not worth the price that is the same as secret but secret is 10x better. Very disappointing, clean the place!!

Popped in for some lunch with friends, staff very helpful and friendly, All food home cooked and delicious, I had chiili cheese enchiladas and this was amazing! Lots of vegetarian options too.

Crumbs has become something of a cruising spot for those who are friends of Dorothy. I have in good authority that one of the workers there. The one with the beard is certainly a musical man indeed. Me and Hector enjoyed a glass of wine and some spelt fries. The waiter kept giving me the eye! Only in Swansea! My only issue is that it seems outside many people have had too much tea, they look broken. Drugged even.

I’ve been coming here for 8 years and the food is great, service fast and exceptional value. I always visit when in Swansea. Their chilli is the best.

We regularly eat at Crumbs. The lasagne is always good, the coleslaw has chunks of apple and is always good. Chick pea curry and chilli are also firm favourites. Last visit we had the lasagne and falafal with sweet chilli panini. Tables outside and more tables upstairs. Staff are always friendly. If you want to finish with a flourish have a brownie or a blondie.

After reading the positive reviews and that they had a choice of vegan options we decided to give it a go. Fairly nice and relaxed inside and friendly staff though a bit noisy with coffee machine and cuttlery clattering. We ordered the vegan breakfast burrito that was meant to have a selection of items as fillings. Was served a very pale, poorly filled, burrito that was meant to have vegan tofu and cheese in but had to look closely to find it. For the price it was very poor value and we left feeling still hungry and I found the filter coffee was hot water with a hint of coffee though my partners fresh carrot juice tasted nice. Not sure we will go back which is a shame as there looked like there were some other better options to eat but the vegan burrito and the coffee was very, very disappointing but first impressions count

Ordered the feta and egg breakfast special, was absolutely delicious and I recommend it to anyone. I was a little tight on time but they managed to get me my order in no time! Super friendly/helpful staff and a really pleasant atmosphere!

I ordered a chilli. 25 minutes later they had served people who came in after me but no sign of my chilli. I went to the desk and asked to cancel my order. They tried to refund my card £8.90 but when I checked my bank account I found they’d simply charged me twice. I went back to the cafe and complained. The youngster in charge had to phone his boss. He offered me a cash refund of £17.40 and I had to ask for the remaining 40 pence. Altogether the service was worse than terrible. And the cafe seems to be staffed with children!

Nice cafe in the Uplands area of Swansea. Can get very busy though. Food was excellent and the tea was good only quibble the coffee wasn't hot, and by the time I reached the bottom of the cup it was cold. Will ask for extra hot next time.

Had a lovely brunch in Crumbs Kitchen. Food was lovely, and reasonably priced. We had the vegetarian burrito which came with a choice of up to three fillings and the tuna melt as a toastie. Food came quickly, staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was good. Would definitely come here again.

A great corner cafe, serving vegetarian and gluten-free options. Great cakes too! The staff were friendly and efficient, and had a wealth of local knowledge for the enquiring visitors. A favourite place with locals, no doubt, and the flat white to finish? That was perfect too...

Must have been a bad day there?!? Took a long time to come, card machine playing up, flies I saw were walking over the quiches in the counter. It was a hot day, but they can still be covered up like other places do. Sorry, but that wasn't Pad Thai! More like a Welsh equivalent and call it "Bad Dai" Firstly used the wrong noodles, more like cut up very soft spaghetti, not much of it too. A very few stems of beansprout, think a very tiny bit of tomato ketchup cooked in to give it an Asian taste?!?! Then most of it was a stir fry veg with no taste. The peanuts are dried, crunched and added to the top later, but this dish had full stir fried in much softer (old?) peanuts thrown in when cooking. I don't think this person has had pad thai before to see how wrong it is. I had to leave it, as it just wasn't nice. 😣 Friendly enough staff at the till though, so I'll give another star. For the eggs on fried potato, fried potato was ok, but probably upgrade the eggs as they were bland. Thought I had COVID for one minute for lack of taste😳, but no, popped in for something to eat a few doors away. If the chef reads this, DO NOT TAKE IT AS BAD, take it as constructive criticism!!! Go try Pad Thai other places, and ask them what they do. They won't mind...👍 Again, I'm sorry as I cannot go back after that visit, but I always wish any business luck for the future, as I do realize it is hard.

Crumbs - named so for the customer care! The business knew the chair was in disrepair or otherwise defective. The business negligently failed to remove the chair. Their failure to repair or remove the chair was a breach of their duty to keep customers safe. That negligence was the direct and proximate cause of my childs injury which resulted in pain and suffering. All that was offered was an apology, then walked away. No first aid offered. Not reported in accident book. Not even a small token to calm my child such as a cold drink. Not acceptable!

Never fails to disappoint. been coming for four years .never knew about it before,so glad I do now.becks,Emma,luke and the team are soon friendly.not sure of all the other names.lovelybto sit inside and upstairs too and watch the world go by.lovely cakes selection,lush salads,pies quiches,etc and much more.jacket potato and beans scrumptious.can see why locals are regulars and people like myself keep coming back.not expensive. You won't be disappointed.

We were absolutely thrilled to find this restaurant, as our group is Veggie/Vegan. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable while we were here. The menu is straightforward and has a good variety of Pescatarian, Vegetarian and Vegan food options. They have several milk alternatives for hot drinks, and their smoothies were milk free. We had the spinach curry and lasagne and they were decent sized portions for the price we paid. Will happily visit again!

On Tuesday 25th May we popped into Crumbs and both had jacket potatoes with pineapple and cream cheese. Always very enjoyable and staff are very friendly.

Popped in for some treats after seeing some posts online , and it didn’t disappoint! Friendly service , nice range of homemade food on offer , good social distancing measures . Will definitely return

I understand it must be difficult to wear a mask all day but it was sad to see that only the woman with dark blonde hair was wearing it properly. The other 2 FoH had their noses out and the chef wasn't wearing one at all- hopefully she is exempt. Nice food though. Missed breakfast baguettes by 7 minutes and the shorter one with a nose piercing didn't want to help. Rules are rules but 7 minutes! Come on!

If you want a friendly, local and safe business to support during COVID, this is the place for you. I'm a pescatarian and they have so many options for vegans/veggies/ and pescies. Fantastic service and the staff are amazing and friendly. Staff are taking obvious precautions and if you can order from this small business over the winter (takeaways etc) I would highly recommend the lemon and lime cake. It's amazing!

Great place street side seating available, Cosy inside. Very deceptive space wise as there is additional seating upstairs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good selection on the menu all reasonably priced. Recommend Cafe Americano and a chocolate brownie.

Went Recently for coffee and cake. Absolutely delightful the staff were fantastic and the food was superb. Best place in Uplands/Brynmill to go for food! Highly recommend

This is a lovely friendly cafe with high quality, tasty veggie and vegan food. IIt's also got lots of gluten-free options. I've been coming here for years and would highly recommend it. I've worked throughout the pandemic and regularly attended the cafe and have seen how seriously they have taken government advice noting people's details for test and trace, screens, antibac available,thorough cleaning and social distancing markers on the floor so people know where to stand. You're guaranteed a friendly welcome here and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Fantastic food and service always, tables are thoroughly cleaned between each use and the staff are very clearly taking precautions. Staff are always very friendly and the food is fresh and tasty.

Lovely vegan breakfast & coffee as always. Cakes lush too. Great to have a vegan, veggie, pescatarian friendly cafe. Liking the new extended outdoor seating too (the gorgeous weather helps)! Staff very friendly & chatty. Some punters not keeping their distance (same everywhere though) in the queue but happy to move if asked. Tables cleaned regularly. Hand sanitiser available. Track & trace followed if eating indoors. Would recommend.

Flexible working in Crumbs Kitchen suits me down to the ground. I have a chronic health condition so social distancing measures are key to my decision about where to eat and work.The social distancing measures are clearly in place... screen at food counter, tables evenly spaced apart, hand sanitizer as you enter the cafe and on counter. Upstairs clearly marked where to sit safely.Food as always first class... menu boards made clearer which is a bonus Service First ClassHighly recommended

Visited today - no social distancing in place, even though hand sanitiser is available, queue at counter was distanced at about 2 feet maximum and staff did nothing to advise otherwise. Food preparation hygiene was poor, vegetables were being prepared without use of the usual blue gloves. Tables were not properly cleaned between customers, just a token wipe. The smoothie machine on the side of the counter was in a disgusting state and needed a good clean. And to top it all my wife's vegan meal had meat in it - A SLUG ON THE LETTUCE, which had obviously not been cleaned properly. A waitress did apologise and gave refund, but overall this was a very poor show.

Appalling service! Ordered a coffee and eggs Florence, coffee arrived at my table 30 minutes later, and my egg on toast a further 30 minutes later - by which time i had already drank my coffee but i was scared to order another to drink with my breakfast because i would have landed up spending the entire morning there!! Do yourselves a favour, and go to one of the many other coffee shops in the area instead!!

excellent restaurant everything from the food staff and atmosphere. The tapas nights are new to this restaurant and fabulous, all the food was fantastic. Wine superb. love all the twinkly lights. I hope you continue to have these nights we will certainly come again.

Brisk 20min uphill walk from the city centre. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious vegetarian lunch. Well worth it.

Highly recommended Tapas nights on a Friday and Saturday at this local vegetarian cafe that transforms itself at night as if by magic into a lovely little bistro. The menu selection is great, the food absolutely delicious and the wine selection good. Local produce from a local independent business. What’s not to like?

Congratulations Crumbs Kitchen! Fantastic tapas offering... authentic Spanish tapas in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious selection of fabulous dishes and sides. Every single dish was flavoursome and tasty... particularly enjoyed the two prawn dishes but also vegan meatballs. Great desserts too: the orange chocolate pudding absolutely to die for!! Good wine selection and the Pino Grigio smooth and easy to drink. Staff warm and welcoming. Highly recommended

Came here with my son for a quick lunch. Amazingly friendly staff, who are happy to serve you in a lovely manner. Great choices, and a lovely atmosphere. Look out for the soups.... really tasty 👍🏻
