Excellent food and portions. Well worth booking as gets very busy

We came here as I booked the cider mill tour for my partner who absolutely loves Westons. The food is really fantastic especially for the price, we would definitely recommend if you're doing the tour to stop by (it does get busy so book if you can) we will definitely be back when we come back to the area!

Always call in when in the area, always had good service, nice food and cider, good value special on Wednesday evening.

We were on the run! We asked if we could eat in 30 mins and they managed to do it! We had to attend the mill tour next door. Amazing service! Amazing food! Even though we had to run, we will come back and make sure we take our time to enjoy every moment of that wonderful lunch...

Great location capturing the beauty of rural Herefordshire. The food was exquisite and the staff were superb.

Had a two course lunch after the cider tour. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, food was delicious, can recommend the lasagne and the cheesecake. A very pleasant afternoon.

We came for a light lunch in the scrumpy house as was visiting Westons. We really enjoyed our sandwich and fries. We sat outside by the fishpond and wasn't long before food arrived after ordering . Staff friendly and polite. . Would definitely return to try other options on the menu.

Absolute gem of a restaurant. We can’t recommend enough! We were so lucky to find this place and we will be back time and time again. Food was genuinely gorgeous. Love trying out all of the different options on the menu. The chefs are fantastic, each dish becomes our new favourite. Can’t go wrong - especially considering we got a pint of Weston’s cider and a delicious main for only £14 in an evening! The whole place has such a lovely atmosphere and is full of history. It’s a must go if you’re anywhere nearby!

We came here on the recommendation of friends who were eager for us to experience the Scrumpy House. The restaurant was small but cozy and we didn’t mind sharing the space with men in orange high vis jackets, presumably factory workers. The cider was exquisite, we tried two varieties that were very different but top quality. The starter menu had changed, which was a great pity, because this has been a great draw in the past. The main course was acceptable, based on three of us who had the chicken curry. The deserts, however, seemed disproportionately expensive at £8 each and so we elected to have coffee which, sadly, lacked flavour and strength. However! We were hugely impressed that the manager took the time to call me and address the concerns we expressed in the restaurant. And, because of this, we will return and give the restaurant another go perhaps sharing a desert!

We didn't eat but had 2 drinks. Will return for the tour: our first visit was impressive.

Chef stood at bar chatting with staff on arrival. Noisy staff that don't care for the diners trying to relax. Meals served in under 10 minutes. Under cooked chips, under cooked gammon , raw brocoli. Shame as this could and should be a great experience.

Disappointed as last works Christmas meal was great but this year there were no table decorations or free cider. The service was ok from some staff and very poor from others. Food was mostly ok but veg was well overdone.

Fabulous stop off, for cup of coffee and cake. Bought some cider and the tour is great too.

Called in for a warm drink and cake after a dog walk along the Marcle Ridge. Hot chocolate disappointing as simply that, no options to upgrade. Only gf cake was a millionaires slice.

A good place to eat and drink - with an attractive interior and plenty of seating outside. Some of the food features cider and local ingredients are used where possible.

We went to westons for the tour, booked it as a package with two course lunch. Wasn't told it was a limited tour menu which was slightly disappointing, the food was ok and not the warmest, there were 3 servicer, 2 young girls who were lovely and friendly and a older lady who was rude and grumpy.

Complete five star. Food excellent service great and so friendly. Can't wait to go back

Stopped to buy cider from shop and decided to have lunch. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good taste good but potions a bit small for the costa d no veg. A bit disappointing. We ll try again to see if anything changes. We had fish and chips and Beef Pie with a few chips

Awesome restaurant/bar/cafe on the site of the Westons Cider farm. It's small but there is a nice cosy atmosphere. As you would expect, the full range of Westons Cider and Perry is available here.

Visited Westons Cider to take part in their factory tour. It was beyond my expectations, a fantastic experience full of history since it all started in 1880 by the man himself Henry Weston. The farm is situated in a beautiful Hertfordshire location, surrounded by apple farms. The tour was exceptional, we really felt the passion coming through from our tour guide - Jen, who explained the generational progression. We had an amazing beef roast at the idyllic Scrumpy House accompanied by my favourite Vintage Cider. Staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. The on site shop is a must for Cider lovers, the choices are endless from what I can only describe as "the best cider in the market" We will returning.

Absolutely love this place food and drink is excellent. Not a massive menu but what on offer is more than adequate and the quality is outstanding. But it's all about the cider.... Staff are friendly and helpful. Been a few times never been disappointed.

Weston è uno dei più grandi produttori di sidrondi tutto il Regno unito e nella sua sede di produzione nel cuore della campagna nel West Midlands hanno aperto anche una magnifica "taproom" dove venire a fare degustazione di sidro e mangiare piatti tipici. In estate i prati si riempiono di fiori e si può mangiare fuori mentre in inverno si mangia riscaldandsi al fuoco di una stufa. Degustazione di sidro e piatti tipici, la combinazione perfetta. Se avrete assaggiato qualcosa che vi ha lasciato senza fiato potrete sempre acquistarlo nello shop affianco al locale. Qui da Weston si respira davvero tutta la tradizione e l'amore per la tradizione. Appena fuori dal loclae c'è anche un grande parco giochi per bimbi!

I hope I don’t sound biased , having worked at Westons for 16 months since moving down from the North ,I wanted to show my visiting family my place of work and finally have lunch in the Scrumpy House . Well we weren’t disappointed, the choice of food was varied and cooked to a high standard tasting delicious. The staff were all pleasant , professional and very friendly attending to us perfectly. We definitely recommend the Scrumpy House and I will definitely be eating there again .

Westons is a smashing place to go anytime of the year. We visited for my birthday on the 20th Dec. Its a small dining area which makes it more cosy, especially at this time of the year. The food, whether its a light lunch or full on lunch is delicious. Good portions. My niece is gluten and dairy intolerant, but she was easily catered for. The Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit for food to eat in the restaurant or cider to take home.

Booked table for lunch last week, I ordered fish and chips which I had there last year and I have to say I was disappointed. The fish was small and didn't have the usual crunchy batter but the fish itself was good, maybe it was not left in the fryer long enough. I ordered it because I love the batter so that's the only reason I was disappointed. With below zero temperature outside it might be a good idea to lock the middle doors and get customers to go in and out at the door by the till therefore not letting in cold air to the eating area continuously.

Always love going. Food is local and hearty. Service is always friendly and the cider is on tap 👍🏼

We were greeted by a lovely friend attentive member of staff called Lydia ! She made a family:friends catch up a lovely experience, explaining about all the ciders, we dicided to have the 3 taster glasses, she was helpful with suggesting the main meal could be all made up into children sized smaller portions. Our food was all lovely and yummy. Thank you for a wonderful lunch with cider 🍺 we will be back and recommending you to friends and family.

Top quality food and service, but you need to book early to get in on a scrumpy house tour.

We came here following a tour at the Western's Cider Mill, and it was incredible! The food was amazing, we had the Sunday Lunch, the portion sizes were large and delicious - we had the pork and beef, both were beautifully cooked. Desserts were also fab, a nice range with lots of customisations. Service was also lovley, attentive, fast and friendly! Will certainly be coming back.

The tea rooms were staffed by an incredibly disinterested old woman with a permanent scowl. The cream teas were nice, as were the pasties. However our experience with this one staff member left us with a bad impression. Thankfully, the tour we did afterwards made up for it somewhat, and the young chap there was quite friendly which helped the atmosphere.

Pleasant evening. Good waitress service, quality of meals variable...starters of terrine disappointing and smoked salmon ordinary but pork main excellent.

Sunday Lunch: Good Food but awfully sllloooowww service. I suppose the food is good because by the time it arrives you are so starving you'll eat anything! The restaurant was full, but that should not be an issue if properly managed. If you are a large table be aware that you get your food two plates at a time, and the same with drinks (do they not have trays??). You also have to make subtle hints if you want more drinks. All in all it was a rather embarrassing time (as i had booked the table and raved to my family about it) and sadly one to avoid if you value your time.

POOR Photo is of the SLIP TAVERN and its location on the map in the village, a very friendly village local, serving several varying real ales and ciders , plus good wholesome mainly English & some Carribean style food, as one of the owners comes from Trinidad, so very authentic. Plus log fires VERY GOOD
