Well what can we say I thought Sunday lunch plated was a thing of the past but not here £15 for a below par meal stuffing balls like pebbles, rock hard red cabbage strange flavour and not a good strange either. cauliflower cheese hard under cooked and had to be bought at an extra cost. Definitely won’t be ever going back for a Sunday lunch 80s style.

Came for the festive menu with my group of friends. Everyone was really welcoming and the festive burger is one of the nicest burgers I have ever had, really enjoyed and so did everyone else, thank you.

Called in for lunch today with some of my family, was a lovely meal. Service was brilliant. Will be back again soon.

Came for lunch - extensive menu to suit all, and pleased to see that it wasn't only "Sunday dinner" being offered. Really welcoming staff, food was good and excellent value. Decor needs a bit of attention maybe, but that wasn't what we came for! Would definitely come again.

We stopped overnight locally and came here for dinner, the food was really nice for the price we paid. Unique take on the Hunters chicken was different but extremely enjoyable nevertheless. The portion size was generous but not excessive. We thought the prices were really good. Staff were friendly and even tweaked a meal for my wife without any problems. Overall if we wasn't around 6 hours drive away we would have returned again without hesitation.

Came here for my Mother's 61st birthday, the food for lovely, aand the Front of house staff were amazing, they also brought out the cake` i brought in for my mum after mains. A good evening all round!!

Just had a lovely meal here. They certainly know how to cook steak. Nice friendly atmosphere and the staff were very professional and polite. Everything was hot and very very tasty. 10 out of 10 from us 😁

Came here last night and what a joy it was. We were greated by Lee who was a delight. Couldn't have been more friendly and professional. Hubby opted for a cruzcampo and a rhubarb and ginger gin with lemonade for myself. And as for the burgers they were amazing. Thanks Lee for making our trip memorable. You're an asset to the business. This pub is wonderful, plenty of outside space for parking and Nick was just fantastic through out my visit. He talked me through the menu and answered all of my questions, he then made me the best cup of coffee and the chef made me a lovely breakfast sandwich. I would 100% recommend a visit here!

My Husband and I stayed here overnight before moving on to our Caravan park. 24th September 2023 from the moment we checked in the staff were very friendly polite the accommodation was clean tidy and very cosy. The room was excellent had complimentary tea coffee in the bathroom was shampoo and body wash with fluffy towels. The cooked Breakfast was wonderful we could not fault anything about the inn we will be staying there again.we will be recommending to people to stay here thank you for allowing us to stay

Came here with family early september. Food was lovely and the staff Ali and Alisha went above and beyond to make our stay hospitable. However, the older woman behind the bar looked miserable and was rather blunt. Furthermore, when said older woman bent over to pass us our meals myself and my family could see all of her chest assets. Not what i would call a family friendly pub.

What a fabulous place. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful they went above and beyond. Great ambience and fantastic breakfast. I will be back. Thank you all.

Often come here for family meals. Came with myself and my three children. Was told there was a half hour wait on food so asked for three garlic bread starters to keep the kids happy - ended up waiting an hour & fifteen minutes just for those. Wasn’t even excessively busy (empty tables dotted throughout). Food was okay, but service was dreadful. Paid full price at the end and felt ripped off. Don’t think we’ll be back again anytime soon.

Waited 1.5 hrs for 2 adult meals and 1 child meal and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Paid nearly £13 for my meal and it literally came with 10 chips! The pie was cold and the service was just plain rude. Don’t think we will eat here again in a hurry

Huge thanks to the savoy for fitting us in late on a Saturday after a busy day at folly farm! Yes the food took a while to come but we had pool table, park and good wifi to keep everyone entertained Menu had lots of choice and can’t recommend the curry enough, great value as comes with naan snd poppadom. Also ordered mixed veg chilli, but if a kick but absolutely lush, lasagna huge portion and kids meal sausage and chips and cheeseburger meal. All devoured! We followed with some ice cream, a chocolate Sunday. As of a trifle cheesecake which was the most lushest piece of cake thst I’ve had in s long time! Can’t wait to come back!

The Savoy is under new management and well worth a visit. Nick, the new owner and Lee (very friendly, professional receptionist/barman) went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable meal. We have had a brilliant time at the Savoy this evening. My 2 boys (and their Grandad) loved playing pool, the food was great and the service was fantastic. Couldn't ask for better and we will be back soon!

Staff were polite and friendly at times. Food was as expected, get what you pay for. Although the fish and chips was surprisingly good. My children enjoyed their dessert, it was a sundae (although it was in a bowl and didn't look like photo).

Well worth a visit. Had chicken jalfrezi & chicken tikka. Really tasty and loads of chicken. Kids meals of chicken burger... real chicken mini fillets lovely and cod goujons. Nice little play area outside.

Came here after work for a meal with a friend recently. It’s in a convenient location, with good parking, although I wouldn’t like to try and get out of here during rush hour. It’s a chain pub (Brains) so the food is nothing amazing, but still nice. A good place to meet up with friends for a bite to eat, but not for something special like a date. The menu was good with plenty of choice - something for all tastes. I had the garlic mushrooms for starters, which was very tasty, then chicken tagliatelle for my main, which was nice, but not outstanding. I didn’t have room for pudding. Plenty of seating space inside, and the service was friendly. Good value for money, and they accept the Vectis card too so we received a discount on out food. This was my first visit, but my friend had been here on many an occasion. It’s around half way between the both of us, so a great place to meet up. I’m sure we’ll be back again soon.

The pub looks very welcoming from the outside, and once inside the staff are very efficient and helpful. It is part of the Brains Brewery group.

We enjoyed a pleasant evening meal, well looked after. It is a shame that they do not offer breakfast to non-residents.
