Would be nice if herbal teas were sold and also scrambled eggs

Good honest fry up, if your after a no frills English breakfast it's the place to go

Popped in for a brew and some chips whilst my van was being MOT'd. Hadn't been before. Nice friendly place, run by a lovely chatty lady. I'd definitely visit again when in the area.

Excellent owner/cook, very friendly atmosphere, and clean everywhere. All is made welcome from all walks of life. Prices are good too. This little café is well worth a visit 🙂 xx

The owners are so welcoming and friendly to all and the food is always outstanding I’ve lived in stonehouse all of my life no cafe around is better then this one. Fresh food always they both are so kind and funny here I’m one of many that won’t eat anywhere else love this place hope it’s here to stay

Lovely little place but was freezing with the door open plus the tables were not cleared and quite dirty..had the small breakfast which would have been lovely if the hash brown, beans and black pudding wasn't over done. Let it down

Este es nuestro café habitual. Siempre ven aquí por sus excelentes comidas. Porciones increíbles a precios decentes. Sirven una excelente hamburguesa y siempre pueden alterar las comidas para los niños pequeños.

Everything on the menu I've tried so far has been absolutely delicious. The chilli con carne and the chicken curry has to be tried to be believed how incredible they are as it's the all day breakfast.

Can recommend the Latte and Milky coffee.

A very popular and busy cafe, with very well cooked food you can eat in or take away. Opening times from 8am Monday - Saturday. Lunch menu and salad bar available for very ransom able prices. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent and well cooked food every time. well worth a visit, Defiantly booking again for the roast dinner it looked scrumptious and the roast potatoes were not deep fried. I couldn't recommend this place high enough it is top class. I will be back again next week.

I've been getting breakfast from this place for the better part of a decade, and the current staff, John and Sarah are simply brilliant. Always pleasant, friendly service, fast and tasty food and a little extra help for any elderly or less abled customers can be expected. Top Marks all around. :)

I first visited this place about 6 months ago since its been under new management and was impressed of how clean the place was, how friendly the staff were and the food was lovely, they have so much too choose from unlike most cafes. I have now being going to the sandwich box everyday on my lunch break and would definitely recommend. Thanks Guys Louise

Tuvimos un desayuno inglés completo con dos de mis constituís esta mañana. Muy buena comida por £5. Me impresionó mucho. 2 tocino, huevos, salchichas, 2 2 hash brown, tostadas, alubias, champiñones, tomates, taza de té. Yo tenía un cargo black pudding.

Top stuff. Friendly, clean and tasty. Prices are good and the cuisine is splendid. Positioned on Union Street, it is close to the bus link into downtown Plymouth and beyond. The views overlook the stunning 'Palace au Lidl' and the extraordinary 'random building across the road.' The take out food is exquisite. I will return.. as 'Ace Rimmer' would say "smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!" 10/10

Friendly obliging staff, made us sandwiches that were not on the menu. Nicely prepared food and a good selection too. Only small downside when we visited no brown bread but it was later in the day.

Doesn't change much over time. Better if you are local or on foot because parking in the slip road cum redundant bus bay outside is usually full or blocked. The food here is predictable but fresh and fairly priced, served by polite and chatty staff. Listing could do with an interior photo.

The parking bays outside are always full but if you are shopping just over the road and can park there, it is worth dropping in here for good value snacks. Friendly.

Set by a sort of layby with near impossible parking roughly opposite Aldi and Lidl. Next door to a chain bakery and a mini supermarket. Open till mid afternoon and selling simple snack food mostly rolls filled while you wait. Friendly enough.

OK little snack cafe set in a row of shops in a lay-by towards the bottom of a Union Street. Came to national notoriety a few months ago when the the PM in town for a military event called in with camera men to grab a quick folksy bite, only to be told to wait his turn. So he slipped into Warrens next door where he was served immediately. He went back later to ensure no bad publicity. The lesson is clear. The sandwich box is a popular busy caff with a roaring trade and friendly atmosphere which takes no nonsense from posh blokes in suits with special branch body guards.
