Great place/location to stay. Fairly central to get to most places in the North of Ireland. Spotlessly clean . Friendly family place. Staff were very helpful . Really comfy beds and pillows. Carvery was sooo good as was any other meals we had. Live music that would suit all ages , mixture of traditional , country and modern in the hotel but not overly loud if you didnt wish to be listening.Highly recommend.

Didn't research the hotel enough as there were too many stairs for our party of 10. After talking with the lovely lady on reception she explained there were other rooms that would suit our party much better at an extra cost. This would not bother us because we all had such a lovely night. Food was amazing, as was the breakfast. Staff were very polite and helpful. The other downside was our bedroom window didn't open. None of the negative statements WOULD NOT stop us going back. It was an absolute brilliant overnight stay. Went to see Robert mizzel and he was amazing

Terrible experience here. Attended an event here. One particular bar man “Sean” very aggressive. When questioned as to why he was being so rude began screaming in my face. Other customers had to get involved. Reported to manager on duty he seemed to have no respect for management continued to be abusive when manger was present to the point where other customers got involved again. Management room him outside and spoke with him didn’t seem to make any difference. Travelled from Dublin to this event and was spoiled. Fully grown man abusing a woman totally unacceptable

We went to get Carvery in the Ryandale today, the food was perfect and the majority of staff were pleasant. However one of the staff members, middle aged man who may have been a manager, was quite unpleasant and made my friends and I feel as we were unwelcome in the restaurant. This man made our experience very unenjoyable which was a pity as the food was top class. As a result of the behaviour of this man, I will not be returning I am afraid.

The dinner was lovely but one staff member was very rude and unhelpful, the middle aged waiter sighed and rolled his eyes after we asked him if he could bring us a jug of juice. And when he finally brought the jug to our table he slammed the glasses down very ignorantly, which made us feel unwanted and inferior. I also would like to add that being stared at whilst we eat and being rushed out of the restaurant as soon as we had finished our meal had a dampener on our experience. I feel like we were being treated differently because we are 18, even tho we paid the full price for our food and remained mannerly and grateful for the service that was provided.Terrible manners.

Good points - friendly staff , decent pub food .room was clean , but that's where my recommendation ends....I was given the only room left apparently, which was 134 - it's at the far end on the top floor directly above the bin yard, with lovely views of overful skips and rusting equipment.there was also the faint smell of rotting waste....134 also suffers from a lack of water pressure- no chance of a decent shower- and no WiFi connection. The room has an adjoining door with 133 and no sound proofing at all , worst nights sleep for a long time. The staff were very apologetic but had obviously heard these complaints before , I think the owner is taking the p### by charging £100 for this room...

On Saturday night four friends and my wife and I went for a meal, dressed up and looking forward to the night out. We all ordered our food, so disappointing!3 people ordered steaks all were over cooked and as tough as leather, x2 creamy garlic potatoes were ordered x2 garlic chips were presented when told we ordered the other potatoes we were told it would be 15 minutes, I asked can we have fresh steaks then as they will be cold or eaten by the time the sides come, this was refused and we were asked would the garlic chips “Not Do”. French fried onions were cold on arrival to the table. Seabass was another order, served with a small portion of cold potatoes couple of lettuce leaves and a chunk of lemon. Looked terrible. This was a terrible meal and a waste of money, we were offered a complementary drink which in no way compensated for the poor food and service. Avoid this restaurant if you want a night to enjoy.

Then 50mins until the main course was served with the cutlery not replaced after the appetizers ( had to get these myself). The food was very good, so was the bad service due to lack of staff ( it was busy) or poor training? My brother and I were out on a business trip on a Saturday recently and on our way back through Moy Co Tyrone we decided to visit the Ryandale for a bit of lunch , mistake . We came through the bar entrance and there was a few locals both eating and having a drink , we proceeded on through to the rear seating area which had a few lads having a meal, and sat at a table opposite the large TV which was showing a Premiership match which was fine . We sat a while but no one came near us and neither was there any menus on the table . My brother eventually went to find someone and duly a young lady arrived to take an order but still no menus, we needed to see what was available so she went and got a menu and left it with us . The menu was hardly inspiring, Carvery lunch plus sandwiches and a burger option , the young lady came back and we enquired what the procedure was and she explained that the carvery was located in an adjacent room , none of which was visible to us , we asked could we get two bowls of soup to begin and she said she would bring them to the table where we were seated as we wanted to watch the football on the TV which wasn’t possible in the other seating area next to the carvery . The soup arrived , lukewarm to say the least but we were hungry and ate it anyway and said nothing . We had water on our table and a couple of glasses to drink from . We finished our extremely lukewarm soup and headed across to the other room to get our carvery meal . There was no one on duty at the carvery but eventually someone came to see to us . I had turkey and ham with mash and a baked potato and gravy, I didn’t fancy the veg at all . The plate on which the food was placed was almost cold and the food wasn’t overly warm either , my brother had the salmon and veg etc and white sauce which was in a similar state to my meal . We still said nothing and returned to our seat near the telly to find it had been cleared even though our coats etc were still on the seats. After getting more water and utensils we proceeded to eat our lukewarm meal which was edible but not gonna make you sweat eating it anyway. We finished our meal with an amount of grumbling among ourselves as to the quality of the service etc . My brother paid the bill which came to £21 approx and was never even asked if everything had been ok . Now we did see that there was a funeral party in for a meal whilst we were there but even so the service and the food we received on this occasion left a lot to be desired and we will pass by the next time we feel hungry passing through “The Moy”

I rate the food at the Ryandale very good. Went with a large group and everyone was satisfied with their meals. I wish that they would be more consistent with the pricing of their meals though. They seem to have 3 different prices on one menu alone, and this is also the case with their carvery on Sundays. Also, phoning in to book was a little complicated. I found myself explaining myself repeatedly to 3 or 4 different people and I was only informed at the eleventh hour of the need to pre-order starters and desserts from the 4 course menu. I will be going back, after the crazy festive season is over and things are a little quieter.

Just happened to be in Moy at lunchtime with a friend and we decided to call into the Ryandale for lunch. Had the option of the Carvery or bar menu and choose the Carvery after discovering that they offered a ‘small’ portion as well as the standard portion. There was a good choice of options in the Carvery and the food was both hot and fresh and the portion size was just right for us at lunchtime. We were feeling greedy that lunchtime and decided to share a pudding between us. We choose jam and coconut sponge with custard as neither of us had this in a long time. Wow it was an amazing pudding. The sponge was so light and flavoursome and this combined wonderfully with a slightly tart jam and creamy custard. Finished of with a very good coffee. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience and the staff were helpful and friendly.

So returning to Dublin from a day visiting the Causeway Coast with family I suggested we visit the Ryandale (family hadn't been). I hoped they hadn't changed and were still providing great food.We weren't disappointed. We turned up last night just as it was closing but we were welcomed in by the wonderful staff who were very friendly attentive and efficient. The food hit about every taste bud we had was hot and plentiful. There have been some changes to the Ryandale but in terms of upgrading the restaurant bedrooms and entertainment space and it's very pleasing to the eye. I have great affection for Moy village as my mother was born here-its a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside and I can't recommend this place highly enough-it is definately worth going out of your way to visit. Keep doing what you do Ryandale it's brilliant!

After visiting Randale hotel had to write this review on the 12july Ordered battered mushrooms which was lovely then ordered roast beef dinner asked what veg was served with it was told that there was none served with it as the chef said that the roast beef was 2thick slices served on mashed potato and gravy and most people would not want any as it was so much on the plate Me personally never heard of a roast beef dinner without veg think this is another way to get more money out of u for the veg at £2 95 a portion Think the Randale need to take another look at this as this would put people off going food was nice and service was good

Needed a hearty meal to keep us going, and this ticked all the boxes. Lots of local people enjoying the good value carvery lunch. Plenty of choices for the main "meat" component, though they only offered us one choice - in other places you could maybe get a wee bit of a few things. Only thing - food wasn't very hot - I am pretty certain that if it had been tested with a thermometer it was below correct temperature for service. I am sure this is something that this friendly spot will keep an eye on.

A nice and friendly restaurant but not noisy, so good for chatting and unwinding over a drink and a meal. We ordered starters and mains. We had chickenliver pate followed by sea bass and fried brie with salad followed by chicken carbonara. All dishes were tasty. The desserts we chose were pavlova and sherry trifle. The pavlova was nice but the sherry trifle lacked skill in making.

Called in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by choice, portion size and overall quality. A very good lunch reasonably priced, in a lovely quaint setting with more than helpful staff.

I love the Ryandale's early bird deal. 2 courses including an 8oz steak for 12.95. Good food, fair portion sizes and everything tasted freshly prepared. Good service both the younger and more mature waiters where friendly and attentive. At a very reasonable price. Under promises and over delivers unlike many other restaurants. Highly recommend it.

Just back from a lovely two course meal at the Ryandale in the Moy.To our surprise the restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday evening, but I guess this was because of the Easter Holidays.Menu was lovely with a good selection of chicken, fish, meat and veg options. Daily specials were also excellent, just disappointed I didn't go for the duck dish for my main.I went for the steak with all the trimmings. Steak just melted in your mouth, portion size was perfect and excellent value for money at £14.95. Dessert was jam and coconut sponge which was beautiful. Reminded me of being back at school.Overall a really good experience. Good value for money, excellent quality and friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit.

For myself and my husbands wedding I Attended the Ryandale to see Jimmy Buckley. We arrived Saturday afternoon and were greeted by the manager at reception as this was our first time here she was more than accommodating and showed us to our rooms. On the evening we chose the dine and dance menu the food was lovely and the service was great!

Before we left I called hotel to check what deals they had if u "dinned & danced". I was informed it was £37 pp for 4 courses but if u didn't take 4 courses u would b allowed accordingly. We dinned & I had 2 courses my hubby had 3 courses- went to pay bill & we were charged for 4 courses! This is when we were introduced to the MANAGER who before she looked at what we had got said we had eaten off the a la carte menu!! We were given the dine & dance menu. Apparently if we had eaten of a la carte our bill was £84 & she said as our bill & £74 we were better off and I could take a sweet away with me!! We paid up to prevent any stress as we were with 3 other cpls who were here before but choose to eat in chippy across the Rd. Breakfast was good although the 2 waitresses were getting it busy as 2 staff hadn't turned in. Regarding bedrooms we have NEVER STAYED IN SINGLE ROOM WITH A DOUBLE BED. Open bathroom door - hit the bed. No chairs. Inter-connecting room with the key hole in door blocked with tissue paper we could hear ever word the cpl in next room said!On departure I said about how small our room was - same manager said she had never had a complaint that anyone was ever looking chairs in their room. When I told her we had been in the other 3 couples room & they were twice if not 3 times bigger than ours and had 2 chairs in them. I expressed my opinion that were overcharged for a double room that we did not get. All other staff members were very friendly & accommodating!Problem here is THE SO CALLED MANAGER IS CHEEKY & CONTROLLING & due to this a small country hotel will suffer!

Called in here with my wife and 2 kids when passing through Moy.Very friendly staff who were even more than willing to accommodate the toddlers demands. My wife and I went for the steak on the early bird menu and have to say it was very very good. I find it very rare to get a good steak cooked properly rare , , , , but they know how to here. Excellent value for money and the service was very quick so I would definitely recommend and will be calling in again.
