Went to celebrate my birthday, hubby has allergy told them, food cone out with the onions and peppers, explained, meal come back out within seconds, onions clearly still there!! Not good at all, was told to email in, fake email of staff ...

Had a great time at The Royal Oak with friends ,We were there when the landlady questioned the guy with the chewing gum she only politely asked him was it him chewing his chewing gum then hiding at the side of his chair and on the carpet which is disgraceful after it's been in his mouth and herself and cleaner's have to pick it up

Unfortunately had just around 30 minutes to spend in here. Staff were friendly, just as the other customers and the atmosphere was great

I have been going to this pub for 30 years. It has aways been a pleasure to be there. It isn't now. It has a new licencee, Beverly, who should not be running a pub. She has allowed the place to be overrun with drugs. If you are a non drug user it is not a place you feel comfortable drinking in. The pub has been fantastic in the past and it is very sad to see it decline. There is obviously good staff who work there. The sooner Beverly moves on, the better. It's very sad, but 8 sign of how things are. Hopefully, with new management th pub can be restored Fingers crossed 🤞

It's a decent pub this one and is only around the corner from Goodison Park. The John Smith's was also £2.25 which is pretty cheap so I cannot complain.

Lovely staff really friendly the locals all seem nice too, it looks like it's recently been done up as its really nice inside. I've never been in before so was really surprised how nice it & how lovely the staff are.

Great atmosphere of a weekend...and very big screen to watch the match or any sport also multiple smaller screens situated around the pub makes viewing ideal anywhere you sit...and also reasonable prices

I went after the match scousers always friendly. I suppose it helped they won 3 nil

Go here before all home games. Need to sort card payment system out and also turn the music down a bit. All my friends like to talk football before the game etc yet music is deafening and you just can't communicate. Otherwise would be a 5 star review.. Many thanks

Great little pub with a nice beer garden best night is Sunday with karaoke Dave .Also you can pick up a cab no problem

The Royal Oak Is Another Decent Pub That Offers A Good Beer And Spirits Range And Is A Very Popular Pub On Walton Road.The Royal Oak Is A Huge Pub With An Excellent Outside Seating Area'The Interior Design Is Open-Plan With Great Seating Options And Built Around An Island Bar With Interesting Fixtures and Features That Relate To Sport And The History Of This Area.The Pub Is A Very Popular Pub With Everton FC Fans As Goodison Park Is Around The Corner.When We Visited We Had Been To Many Pubs In This Area And After We Gave All Our Track And Trace Details We Then Ordered A Few Halfs Of Strongebow Brewery Fruit Ciders And Sat In The Superb Beergarden.This Is A Decent Pub In A Part Of Liverpool That I Don't Normally Visit As I Mostly Drink Cask And Craft Beers But I Enjoyed This Pub As The Atmosphere Was Good And We Sat In The Beergarden And I Would Visit Again If I Was In This Area.Very Easy To Find From Oxton Street Bus Stop It Is A Few Minutes Walk.(This Is My First Review Of The Royal Oak). The Royal Oak Pub is a pub I occasionally drop into, a pub that offers a warm welcome and serves a cold pint. I love the look of this pub,its lived in ,nice decor and furnishings and an island style serving bar that dominates the main room, there's tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Walton Road. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Sunday afternoon, we gave our details of name, phone number or email address to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, we opted to have a Strongbow fruit cider each, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we took our cider's outside as the pub was full but it was good sitting outside enjoying a cold brew on a hot afternoon. My cider was really good, a very cold and refreshing cider that was just a joy to drink, on such a humid afternoon a cider that certainly cut through the thirst and was totally delicious. We both really enjoyed our cider's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Royal Oak Pub is easy to locate along Walton Road . Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A great pub,if your in the area most definitely well worth a visit.

Not a big fan. It does get very busy due to the proximity to Goodison Park. There's something about the place I'm not keen on,although my friends use it regularly for a pre-match drink.

Use this place match days good atmosphere good people and drinks reasonable. Just a little walk to the football ground for those who go here to watch the game
