The Prince Leopold Pub in Liverpool

Went to the prince Leopold woman sitting in doorway on phone I went in it busy Saturday night loads fellas some old ones not much room I waited at bar got whiskey and cola with ice fella had trouble with the bottle dispenser took bottle of stand done it got bottle cola out fridge big one done it bar fella went off to till looked for price seen sign cash only sorry for inconvenience fella said 5 pound I said 5 he done hand as it noisy in there I paid was going to sit on bar stool other fella come in Sat there so stood at bar by fella in white shirt 4 girls on table in next room it packed so couldn't move I went sat on seat by wall bar table there fella was knocking into it when it's busy the long bar full of men standing and sitting I went in about 8pm there was TV with darts on one end over a gambling machine the other end over door TV with horse racing on but you couldn't hear them as music was on loud so sat there a while some went woman come in was saying to some say sorry I went got another drink asked for brandy he had none fella in white shirt said do you want me to get some bar fella said got none to me also loads of bottles on stands all empty sold out I said to him Ill have captain Morgan with lemonade and ice he said single double I said double he said I'll have to get you ice so he done drink it 4 pound I paid he then opened trap door went down stairs heared him getting ice come up with plastic basket with ice in it put under bar shut trap door got shovel of ice put in drink he said alright I said thanks I said you sold out there he said yeah will have to get new ones I went sat down fella in white shirt must work there too woman said to someone else who said something to her say sorry he did she must work there and is in charge she behind bar too so I sat there people left went out side door they must have come in more people arrived one got hug of this woman there was to girls on gambling machine one in red must work there as she in out of private room old fella come sat next to me we got chatting he saying about liver oldest pub in Liverpool used to have bowling green was at one time a coach house he was funny talked about history of Liverpool I said you come here often he said been to one then that one down there party on then this one he went gents come back finished his drink and got another said something to me I said to bar fella what he say he said he'd like to buy you a drink I said alright ill have an orange juice he looked at me said do you want a captain Morgan I said okay yes he said double I said single old fella paid he passed drinks sat down so many left we finished our drinks it was 10.40pm it says they close at 11pm he got up said what's your name again he shook my hand said bye I said might see you around he went it 11pm I thought bar closed but still serving drinks other side so I stayed till 11.30pm got up said alright to bar fella he said come again I went out rang taxi nice 20 year old girl in white town shirt come up to me asking about my cap 🧢 nice she went in stood with girl in red and woman who both work there my taxi arrived I got in went to McDonald's Walton vale drive through as it nearby went home nice night out. They must have closed at 12.00pm

Entré aquí el domingo por la noche todo lo que puedo decir es nunca más. Es como si el tiempo se detuviera y todos se agitaran contra nosotros. Pidieron un Jack Daniels que dijeron que no tenían. Agradecí que no porque no quería quedarme allí, hay un ambiente terrible parece que si no te conocen no eres bienvenido. Salimos porque no tenían mi bebida y mientras lo hacíamos alguien gritó algo después de nosotros. Evítelo a menos que sea un lugareño. Definitivamente no volvería allí de nuevo

Cracking traditional pub with two TV's one with racing the other terrestrial. Good locals and lovely barmaid. Type of place you can sit an have a chat with your partner.

The Prince Leopold Pub is a pub I always enjoy dropping into if I'm in the area. A really traditional pub ,interior is superb ,lovely decor and furnishings ,a cool looking serving bar ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options ,it's a great pub to chill out in. We were here on a Sunday afternoon ,we ordered a guinness each ,poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My guinness was really good ,thick,creamy and most importantly served freezing cold ,it was just so good being in such a great pub enjoying a really good guinness and sat with my twin brother Stephen who is the best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Prince Leopold Pub is easy to locate along Rice Lane. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,midday till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Quite small pub. If you want somewhere where you can sit, and talk without having to shout over the typical hustle and bustle,... then this is the place to go. Prices are generous, and at the end of the night, there is also a late night pizzeria within a 2 min walk from this establishment. Cash machines are located within a 2 min walk in either North or South direction...including a mini Market open till 00:30am. And black cabs are frequent. What more could you need?

Called in after being at the Races on Thursday.It is being decorated,and is going to look lovely when it is done.The Bar area was closed but the other room was open.The people where friendly.Will call in again.Good luck with decorating.

Love it here. There is always someone to talk to, share a drink and have a laugh with.

El Prince Leopold en Rice Lane es un pub muy antiguo que ofrece una variedad comercial decente de cervezas y licores. Este pub está en una calle que no es muy atractiva, pero este pub se destaca porque es el último pub que todavía está abierto en Rice Lane, ya que hay varios aquí en un solo escenario. El pub tiene un interior bien cuidado de dos habitaciones con muchos accesorios interesantes y excelentes opciones de asientos. Cuando fuimos, aquí estaba bastante ocupado, pero todos estaban socialmente distanciados. Hemos tenido cervezas de barril aquí antes, pero cuando fuimos aquí esta vez, pedimos algunas lagers a la cervecería Carlsbergs que estaban bien servidas y a buen precio. El Prince Leopold es un pub pequeño estupendo que está bien cuidado y sirve una excelente variedad de cervezas bien cuidadas y merece una visita si se encuentra en Rice Lane y necesita una buena cerveza. (Esta es mi primera reseña del príncipe Leopoldo). Horario de apertura. Lunes - Domingo - 12. 00-23. 00. Las horas pueden diferir de las anteriores.

Con el escenario apocalíptico escribió en la prensa que todos los pequeños pubs quebrarían debido a la horrible pandemia de coronavirus que nos visitó, demostró ser solo una tontería sensacionalista, fue bueno ver abierto The Prince Leopold Pub, un pub que está uno de mis favoritos en particular. Un pub clásico local, un pub hermoso, un interior encantador, una decoración y un mobiliario agradables, televisión para disfrutar del deporte, un bar de madera maciza que domina la sala principal y, a pesar de su tamaño relativamente pequeño, hay muchas opciones de asientos repartidas por todo este pub. Estuvimos aquí un sábado por la tarde, el pub estaba ocupado, dimos nuestros detalles de nombre, número de teléfono o dirección de correo electrónico para ayudar con el sistema de seguimiento y localización del gobierno y luego desinfectamos nuestras manos y pedimos una guinness para cada uno, se vertió guinness en la forma correcta Incluso dándonos tiempo para lo importante, nos relajamos y disfrutamos del gran pub en el que estábamos. Mi guinness fue absolutamente asombroso, un guinness frío espeso, cremoso y, lo más importante, helado lleno de sabor y muy fácil de beber, una pinta de guinness refrescante, mi hermano gemelo Stephen también me dio un visto bueno a su guinness. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestra guinness aquí antes de seguir adelante y, aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz, ya que estábamos en pubs como en todas las demás visitas aquí, lo pasamos muy bien. El pub Prince Leopold es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Rice Lane. Los horarios de apertura son; Lunes a domingo, mediodía hasta las 23 h. Un gran pub, si estás en la zona, definitivamente vale la pena visitarlo.

I usually visit here on match days. A great place to have a drink. The prices are reasonable, and the service is good. There are plenty of TVs to watch sport.

Nice place for a pint and to watch the racing or footy

Bar was empty and still had to ask to be served, the two lady's who were behind the bar just ignored me and I had to ask to be served.
