The Royal Oak Bintree in Breckland

My wife Mim and I had Sunday Lunch today and it was superb 5 different vege plus roast parsnips and potatoes with homemade Yorkshire Pudding. Jay and his team so welcoming and friendly. We are here for a few days, if we lived near I think we'd be there every Sunday. So reasonably priced. We may live well over an hour away but we will be back!!!! Thank you

Friendly atmosphere, the landlord goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, on a return visit even remembered us. Excellent decor, all fully refurbished so an all round pleasant experience.

Good food. Nice surprise it was Italianen food when we were there. Great atmosphere!

Staying in village, friendly staff & good selection of drinks. Was pie night & food looked excellent but didn’t try it on this visit. Decor very well done. Dog friendly inside & out

After numerous times going to Bintree Oak and finding Jay a wonderful host, tonight we thought we would try their "Fish & Chip" night - what can I say, it was the best fish and chips we have ever had in any restaurant, considering we have lived In Essex, the Cotswolds and many years in London says it all !! Visited here on Bank Holiday Monday. Friendly welcome from staff, lovely food. Decor is lovely, proper country pub feel. Can imagine being sat in front of the fire on a winters day with a nice beer. Will definitely be back again.

First visit and will definitely be returning. A lovely find. Hosts were extremely friendly and really felt welcomed. Renovations are looking great. Definitely worth a trip on a lovely sunny day.

Came in for Sunday lunch. Food was fist rate all clearly home cooked. Service from the bar and waiting staff was very friendly and helpful. The pub has been refurbished to a very high standard and is very pleasant to sit it in. Well done all we really enjoyed our visit.

Lovely local that has risen like a Phoenix from the demise of the previous pub. Lots of thought and love have obviously gone into its revival. I'll watch with interest how all the investment comes to full fruition. Well done. We'll be back. Currently only food available on Sundays

Great English village pub with exquisite attention to detail. Marvellous service. Friendly staff and locals. Happened upon the Royal Oak by chance on a bike ride during a weekend away. So good, we had to return on Sunday for a cheeky pint. New management- you should be proud of your achievements. Shame we couldn’t stay longer

Visited the Pub this evening with my children and partner for a drink, the service was incredible and my girls were super happy with their Halloween treats they got given. Thanks so much🥰

Absolutely lovely atmosphere and the owners are very welcoming! The renovation they have done is exquisite and I can't wait to see the outcome of the plans they have for the future!

Open at last. Lovely pub full of atmosphere, roaring log fire was burning the night we visited. Great ales and great friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

The new landlord and his family have completely transformed this pub and is unrecognisable from its former self. Excellent cellar, friendly knowledgeable staff. It’s a bit like time travel, when a pub was a real pub, no gimmicks, just good beers and excellent service. The interior has been renovated to a high standard, even down to the loo’s !! All this and live music too. Well done Jay, Hazel, Charlie & Alf for all your hard work.

Family run and incredibly friendly staff. Food is homemade and freshly prepared every day, drinks are reasonably priced. Sunday carvery is top notch, good selection of ales and beers on tap. Just a good, traditional family pub with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended. 5 stars
