Good pub to stop at while in Leciester for the darts. Facilities and environment a bit dated. But service was good and beer was well priced. Didn't see any food so can't comment on that

OK place to go. Only because they have two fit birds behind the bar. Pool table lob sided. Drinks decent prices.

Enjoyed the Royal Oak pub! Friend and I popped in for a drink (mainly to get out of the rain!) on a day visit to Leicester. We had hoped to order food but this pub does not serve food. Reasonably priced drinks and a good atmosphere, loved the music that was playing!

Attended this pub for a funeral on 20/05/22 what an absolutely lovely atmosphere. A great send off for Aunty Lucy and the staff made it even more special. A big Thank you to the lovely Debbie xxx

One of the best, friendly people, great atmosphere, outside beer garden, definitely a sun trap. Great landlord and super great landlady!!. If you need to stay over? 7 nsuite bedrooms available, very well equipped and well priced. You couldn't find a friendlier place for fun, friends, chill and a laugh. Highly recommended.

Only been there a couple of times, but the bartender was very friendly and even remembered my last visit. Cozy little pub right near the city center, they have a lovely little beer garden and its a nice little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Very friendly staff , always makes you feel welcome , music & karaoke Wednesday , Friday , Saturdays , Private Parties Catered for , Children Welcome , Spacious Outside seating . Just great .

Very helpful. Called in for a drink whilst waiting for my partners coach. Barman held doors to get her wheelchair to garden & brought our drinks out.

Ok so it's an electric pump, city pub, but there is no commerce nearby, it's clean, it's friendly and you can grab a pint. Well done for keep pushing through the hard economic times. I'll come back

The royal oak belgrave gate brilliant night Dj tez is brilliant he plays from the 60s to the 90s his music is great Wednesday night karaoke is classic a must pub for every one

Great music from DJ jeff on wed, fri & sat doing karaoke & disco, fab lighting, friendly staff and locals, always a warm welcome, always clean, good beer and selection, never seen any trouble in here. Love coming. We worth a visit

Its a pub. Didnt spend too long here but it seemed ok.

Not a bad place if there's something going on like karaoke or a disco ect.. . Not a great selection of beers, but the staff are friendly.

Lots of good reviews for this place but not sure why, the beer was really nasty and the whole place looked run down, there was a bit of an atmosphere but one trip to the disgusting toilets and I was out of there like a flash!
