The Royal Harvester in Ealing

I visited harvester last night. I enjoyed a lot with my family there. We are a regular customer of this restaurant. We always really enjoyed their service and food. We ordered skewers and burgers, these were awesome. We were served by Indian girl whose name starts by R, I didn’t remember a full name. She was very friendly, chilling and happy face 🙂. It was really grateful with her, because first time, I saw someone from my culture who working great in this reputed place who can also understand our requirements in our languages as well. As most of the Indians also come their and it’s a great push from them.And she recommended us to try simply chicken as well which we try for the first time and it was worthful mouthwatering, big thanks to really hardworking chefs as well.Really happy, we come again to meet her as well. I forgot to put review last night, I just remembered now by having review card and really put this due to their friendly staff and delicious food.

My family and I have been loyal customers of Harvester Hanwell for many years, particularly because of how well this establishment accommodates my son’s severe food allergies. Over the years, we have seen staff and management changes, but we have always appreciated the kindness and attentiveness shown by the team. Firstly, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to a staff member named Lily. She was exceptionally attentive to my son's allergies, taking the time to reassure us and provide all necessary information. Her kindness made a lasting impression—my son was still talking about her on our way home. It’s rare to come across such a caring and dedicated individual, and we truly appreciate her efforts. However, I would also like to bring to your attention some concerns regarding our recent visits. On multiple occasions, we have encountered what we believe to be the manager, Thin Thin (apologies if the spelling is incorrect), who has been somewhat abrupt towards us. During a recent visit, despite having a booking, we inquired about dining outside and were simply told there was "no table service" before being handed menus with no further clarification. As long-time customers, this was the first time we had received such a response, leaving us uncertain about what was expected. We ultimately decided to dine inside, where Lily once again provided us with wonderful service. Unfortunately, we also observed the manager, Thin Thin, critiquing Lily and urging her to hurry. At one point, my husband overheard the manager questioning why Lily was laughing with us at the table. It was disheartening to see a staff member who was going above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable being rushed and seemingly discouraged from engaging with customers. As a family who has attended your restaurant for many years—especially for events like Breakfast with Santa—we have always valued the warmth and friendliness of your staff. The ability for staff members to connect with guests is part of what makes dining at Harvester such a welcoming experience. We hope this feedback is taken into consideration and that all staff members feel supported in maintaining the high standard of customer service we have come to appreciate. Was taken here for Mother’s Day . The food was absolutely divine, absolutely brilliant service and very friendly staff

Went here for Mother’s Day.Really nice staff,the BBQ ribs are just wow,the atmosphere is actually amazing we weren’t expecting such nice food we were quite scared but here I am saying opposite lol I am DEFINITELY going here again Just pls try the ribs :)

Superb service from host Lily who was exceptionally welcoming, friendly, professional and attentive. The chefs were also speedy and friendly. Attended on Mothers Day and was not disappointed.

First time ive been since it was refurbed and i wouldnt go again the food was way over priced everything seemed to be garnished with beetroot! 🤢 I paid £22 for porkbelly and fries and i had two mouthfulls and couldnt eat no more it was nice at all, also ordered a side of hummus which again came covered in beetroot and kidney beans! on the plus the waitress was very nice and kind but i wont be going back for lunch/ dinner! The food was not worth £75!

Visited to use by free birthday meal voucher. We were served by Rosie, Singh, Ramandeep and Natalia who were all fantastic. I really enjoyed my Wing n Wave combo, my steak was cooked to perfection as I love it rare , The chefs did a wonderful job Sujan, Merali and Xristos ! The salad bar was great today. My husband loved the fish and chips. Only negative is sitting at first table by the door and reception, people getting banging me or my chair as they walked past. Overall very impressed, the restaurant and toilets were clean .

We had excellent service from Kripa this evening. It was my Mum's birthday and Kripa was very attentive, helpful and on the ball. The food was great and we had a lovely evening

Visiting family in the area from the US happened to take the recommendation to visit this chain for lunch, we had two young kids with us and we had heard they had a good children’s menu. The restaurant is very close to Boston Manor tube station. It’s a converted pub which has nicely been upgraded both inside and outside. I was very impressed with the interior, it was really nice, clean and had numerous area to be seated. There’s even a full bar and lovely outdoor seating although on our visit was too cold for us. We were seated quickly and I noticed the folks were definitely older (retired crowd) I suspect this was for the lunch special. It was fine by us. This is not fine dining and reminds me of an upmarket ‘Olive Garden’ from the US. We had a really nice server. We settled on the lunch special which was awesome. Food was very good and pudding was awesome! Unbelievable for £14. (Two courses). Unlimited salad bar of very high quality salad items. We all really enjoyed our food. Kids were happy and full. Definitely recommend for food.

We were served by Thin, the Assistant Manager, and she was lovely. She heard us mention that it was my Grandad’s 84th birthday and she went out of her way to bring out a small slice of cake and sang happy birthday to him. She created such a lovely atmosphere, and was there when we needed her. Thank you!

Haven’t been to a Harvester for a very long time and was pleasantly surprised! I used to come all the time as a kid but as I got older came less as I felt it declined. Food was good, the restaurant was very clean and the service was attentive (special mention to Kripa who served us 👌🏽). We will definitely be back again soon!

Food tasty, service from Thin Thin was great. Husband kept hitting his knee on the table leg, got quite annoying!! Ice cream sundae was delicious.

I had to change my harvester booking today to the harvester at Boston manor. Now my favourite one. Staff excellent friendly. My friend and I had a great time and can not wait to go back. Well done to all the staff who all were cheerful

Our waitress called THIN was fantastic, she knew what was available from the menu, she was attentive and fast to serve. The salad bar had very little selection

Service was Jemma was really good and she looked after us Food was fine, desert enjoyable. Saturday was pretty busy with lots of people and kids, unsurprisingly. Would recommend a weekday might be a bit more romantic.

Service is okay. Could be better. Food is pretty good. Shame they have removed a few of our favourites from the menu. Where is the Salmon, and the large food plate with the bbq pulled pork (used to really enjoy that). Prices have gone up, but service is still a bit hit & miss. Tend to wait quite a long time for menus and drinks. In all, I will return but feel that it could be better.

Suraj and Thin were both attentive, salad bar filled us up before and the roast and ribs were succulent but also scored well. I recommend the 1984 ribs and half roast.

Thin Thin and Suraj were excellent staff members and we're so helpful, attentive, always made sure we had everything we needed. They made our evening! We will be back! Very clean, lovely food!

Some of the food was very good, the service was good, and there was a variety for vegetarians. My biggest concern was the main meal. The food was lukewarm, so I imagine it was just sitting there for a while before it came to us. Your salad bar lacked variety. Although your allergen information was available, most main meals only cater for people without allergies, as vague statements saying "may contain" were not definitive. This leads me to believe that Harvester has little control over the supply chain of their food and outsources this from other food makers. Net result: Harvester only caters for people without any allergies. The Harvester concept is good, but is it really value for money? I don't think it is suitable for people with allergies. It is a shame as Harvester can be great!

Food was good as always, salad bar on point. The service was very good thanks to Ramandeep who took care of us.

Every aspect of my visit was nice, great service, nice atmosphere and food was delicious, we had steak, chicken burger and some combo. Everything was tasty. Definitely recommend

Had a fab evening here with 11 of my pals. The pub was packed, great atmosphere. Manager was helpful and friendly, and service was great. Shout out to Cyn who was really excellent. And the value! So much good food for so little money. Recommended

I visited Harvester yesterday, with my family. I ordered food and drinks their at bar. The service was very good, I ordered chicken skewers and ribs which were too delicious. I really enjoyed it great time with my family. And bartenders were very good with service, the Indian man who was serving us very well and has good sense of humour. He treats very politely and they made drinks for us and I love the signature drink that I ordered pimms lemonade was lovely. Great service and staff. The manager Natalie was too good and welcoming. As restaurant was full, she politely said us to be seated at bar.

We turned up without an reservation but the manager Natalie was very welcoming and found us a table. The service by Thin Thin was very good and cheerful. My Bother in law and I both complimented the chef Sujan on the original combo, the ribs were excellent. My Wife enjoyed her scampi. All in all a good evening. Ken Woods

I had a fantastic experience at Harvester! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. What really stood out was how dog-friendly it is, you can bring your furry friends along, which is such a bonus. The outdoor garden seating is absolutely lovely, perfect for enjoying a meal in a relaxed setting. Overall, a great place with a warm atmosphere, excellent service, and a thoughtful touch for dog owners. Highly recommend!

Had to wait very long time to get staffs attention got there early they didn't like it never hardly saw a waitress food ok very shrink flation in other words high prices poor portions. Been a while since ive been to a Harvester noticed all meet dishes that were vegetarian or vegan not much choice what was there nothing appetising oh and they don't do eye contact what looked like a female manager very difficult for a deaf person so not deaf friendly really. Oh female manager shouting at young girls waitresses would I go back not this Harvester and if you don't like this review tough I tell it how it is!

Not enough Staff on shift I understand January saving hours but we wait long time for service and the waiters and manager was runing

i had the steak and it came out cold also was very very hard to eat. my dad had the burger and it tasted stale and not much flavour, my mum had the chicken and it was very very dry, my sister had the ribs which seemed to be the only decent plate on the table. Really disappointed as it was £120 for the 4 of us to eat and 3/4 walked away very frustrated and still hungry as unable to eat.

Food is good and a large selection of options. My only problem is the pricing, I feel like the type of food served here does not justify the price. Service is great however and the atmosphere is friendly. I just can't justify £16 for a burger, despite it being above average.

Our second year coming here to eat before going on to Kew Gardens. Our waitress was exceptional. Attentive without being over the top. Food was better than expected. Would recommend Only negative the seating was dated some holes in the cushions. Looked very tired

Two out of three meals were not good. Burger was cold. Steak was chewy and had lots of fat. Festive menu chicken was good. I was serviced alcoholic beer when I had ordered the non alcoholic beer!! This is really bad as some people can't have alcohol (religion, health, medication, driving etc).

Luckily we had booked a table, as it was full of people having early Christmas lunch! Good atmosphere, good service - as always - and very good food. I really can't fault it.

A rushed service when we visited for Christmas dinner recently. We normally receive a great service, not this time. The volume of the food was very little for the price we paid - 2 sliced of Turkey and 4 pieces of potato. The atmosphere wad normal Harvester atmosphere.

Do not go for the festive menu it is awful. The tomato soup was tasteless, the gravy served with the mains was like water, the salad selection options have decreased to be replaced with three options of pasta……. The festive menu I had yesterday was not food, please go back to the drawing board and adjust. I do not mind paying more and eating good food. Many thanks.

Very good food. Very efficient staff and very clean in there. A bit of a wait for the food. But well worth the wait.

This is absolutely stunning pub unfortunately Staff’s are terrible not up-to the standard of Pub Group chain. Pub Manager I think his name is Hugh (Black Guy) who doesn’t deserve to be a cleaner of the pub due to his knowledge of Pub business. Please don’t try during week days or weekends if he is on duty he will be in grumpy mood this will spoil your day. If he doesn’t like his job why is he there? Is he not getting paid? Or he is in a wrong position? Staff’s and Management need full training how to serve customers also how to pour Guinness etc. Please senior management look at this don’t ruined your newly refurbished pub by hiring wrong team members. If you go there by 9pm during weekdays they starting turning lights off keeps coming to make you uncomfortable just trying to close early the pub as they want to go home early why do you given closing time 11pm on google. Thin is a wonderful person, we ate with our clients from Ealing council and she attended to our needs. All the staff here are great and do extremely well in this busy atmosphere Thank you all

We visited last weekend for a pre-Christmas meal and the staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The salad bar appeared to be fresh and the establishment was clean and comfortable. The staff were also on it with regards to the dietary requirements and allergies within our group. My only reason for knocking a star off is I think the service was quite slow considering the place wasn’t full. We seemed to wait a while between courses. But, overall the experience was good and I would visit again.

This is by far the best Harvester in the country. Food is always spot on and cooked perfectly. We've been to this branch quite a few times now and the food has always been amazing whether it's breakfast or dinner you're always guaranteed a good time. As for the staff no matter how busy it is they are always very attentive and always happy to help. Great visit will definitely be back
