Harvester don't care when just eat stole our food they were not interested in any kind of customer service

waited to be service and pointed where to sit but I self-serviced myself as staff was nowhere to be found! Sat in the corner, waited for staff, unfortunately they are nowhere to be found. I left and if this is the service before ordering? i cant imagine the service during and after. Advice! find some place where staff are accomodating.

Thanks to Amy for her great service. Had a nice meal, very tasty and fresh. Speedy service and everyone took good care of us. The renovated restaurant looks great too. Probably the best harvester I’ve been to. I’m sure we’ll be back soon.

I was very encouraged with the recent renovations. Especially the makeover on the men's toilet.

Food was good overall, apart of breaded mushrooms which is too oily. Our server Ivan was great.

Revisited the pub after the refurbishment They had moved the reception by the entrance door not a clever idea at all Not much has changed over than that the food was nice but the chips and peas was very sparse I made a booking and I think they just forgot about us Disappointed overall Probably wont be going again for a while

The food was nice. The service we received was the worst service I’ve ever received . It was unbelievably poor. Our food was practically being thrown at us . We was made to feel very uncomfortable at the table by our sever . We were very nice , we didn’t make a fuss about anything . At the end, we had not even finished eating our desserts and the server came over and threw the bill at us saying “no rush “ . Please provide your staff with training on basic customer service skills at least; it’s not fair on people who are paying a lot of money to eat with you .

Excellent service and atmosphere waitresses were very pleasant and helpful and have good customer skills. In Comparison with my local Harvester in Langley I will be coming here with my friends and family in future. The decorations and layout of this Harvester excellent well thought out.

Staff were rude and slow, meals came in drips and we had items missing which I had to chase up. The server did not do a check back to see if everything was OK. Steaks (×3) ordered we not cooked as requested and was chewy and bland Tiny portion of peas and tiny tomato. It was my sons 14th birthday he enjoyed his burger so did not want to make a fuss, all other adult meal were disgusting- very disappointed normally love harvester although normally go to a different one. Salad did not look fresh- tomatoes were soggy. Not worth the money at all. Glasses and salad bowls given were dirty- the server did apologise and get clean ones but still shocking no one did a qulality chek. Very disappointed.

We came here as a party of 8 , and accommodated us brilliantly they let us decorate and bring a cake which they lit for us, they were brilliant and made my nans birthday extra special.(to the point she even cried) thank you to the manager anais and thin thin for making the experience so special we will definitely be back again soon !!!!!

Great beer garden, excellent value breakfast, with tasty ingredients, but service can be extremely swift or slow depending on what time of day you go. Most days, breakfast has only one member of staff serving. The photograph is of the Ultimate Combo. It was well cooked, delicious and massive. In fact, so massive that I couldn't finish it.

Sadly not a best experience. Been waiting 20 min just to place drinks order. Food arrived quick but my chips were nearly stone cold and sadly no staff around. When it came to desserts our waitress show up and disappeared in same second without taking any order. 10 minutes after( I believe it was manager) kindly took our order, 10 minutes after waitress came to take dessert order, another word big chaos in terms of service. Apple pie came raw but was exchanged for different dessert When it came to payment, I asked 3 members of staff for the bill. I do realize it was busy however good training and maybe a few members of FOH staff would make our experience better.

Wide choice of dishes, nicely prepared, cooked and presented. Very good value wine selection. Service is friendly and we were given the exact table we'd asked for in our booking. Been back several times, never disappoints. Very obliging service, they even remember you once you've been a few times, which is unusual for staff who work for a chain of restaurants.

The lovely waitress Jade was the saving grace! Sat down for 10 mins. No one came over. Quiet place. Wasn't busy at all. No more than 5 tables in at the time. Had to approach the bar as they were all huddled round talking. Know they've had a refurb but 5 waiters standing around talking and ignoring us isn't on! (Including the manager!) Completely ignored when I waved down another waitress. Bit rude. Worked in the industry myself so no excuses to be honest! Shame as it's my local! As said Jade you saved this trip from being a terrible review! She was so lovely and apologetic. It wasnt even her table to take care of but she went above and beyond. So thank you Jade for accommodating us! We will be back as long as you're here!

Food and welcome was great. The service, although I know it was busy needed improving. Upto half four it was impeccable then on the changeover we were forgotten about time and time again. We are putting it down to Mother’s Day and busy but really put a dampener on our meal.

Can’t go wrong with a Harvester. Newly refurbished and very comfortable. We have a lot of allergies and restrictions and have been satisfied each time. The service however this time was exceptional, Jade went above and beyond to ensure we had a very pleasant time. Thank you

Great venue, it looks even better as redecorated and it has lots of potentials. Only 1 negative thing, one of the servers was very pushy at the end of the meal, it was 9pm and got our plates cleared after checking many times if we finished and asked for “anything else”…”so I’ll bring the bill then”, this has ruined our visit as the food was delicious and the previous server was friendly. We have been here few times and never been treated this way!

We have always liked harvester been coming for years but since the new decor it’s even nice. Food fresher atmosphere nice and chilled. Our waitress was amazing with us especially our 22month old! Big improvement

This review is entirely reflective of the competence and professionalism of staff members at Harvester Royal, Boston Road. Today I happened to be in the right place, at the right time. My witness was in seeing how the duties and responsibilities were exercised, in line with being front of house member of staff. The staff members in question delivered a number of their entire training within ten minutes. Refusing service to a person who was seen and observed to perhaps be under the legal age to be served alcohol. Challenge 21 was implemented, though not well received by the prospective customer. The two staff members, respectively, worked in alliance together, implementing the statute, assertively delivering their obligation, as well as respecting the individual’s integrity. These two staff members remained non-judgmental, centred and adopted ability to remain detached (bias). I felt incredibly humbled to recognise these two staff member’s commitment to upholding the law, respect for the customer and faith in one another in such an incredibly unexpected and challenging circumstance. To the two staff members: I am sorry for the behaviour and for the language you were subjected to by ‘Joe Bloggs Challenge 21’. Team work makes the dream work! Keep the dream alive Harvester Royal Staff.

Our waitress called Jaya was absolutely lovely... very attentive but left us to enjoy our meal too. Had a lovely afternoon.

We came on a Sunday just before the refurb and went for the 3 course set menu which was very good value for money and our server Coco was very attentive and happy to help with anything we needed, thanks so much.

Our server today, Thin, was great and really attentive.

The portion sizes have got a lot smaller and the price is the same but staff are very friendly and helpful

I had one of the best meals ever in the Boston Manor Rd Harvester today thanks to the wonderful server Gemma. She was very helpful, and let us have our salad before taking our main meal order, plus nothing was too much trouble for her. I’d gone off the Harvester, but thanks to Gemma I’ll be back again.

Great place to eat before going on to Kew Gardens. Jade was our waitress and she was exceptional. Attentive without being over the top. Food was better than expected. Would recommend Only negative the seating was dated some holes in the cushions. Looked very tired

We go there every so often as it is just up the road and we don't have to drive. We also had a 40% off voucher, which helps! As ever, the food was good, the service was swift, attentive, pleasant and polite and we had a very nice evening.

When we arrived we waited 10 mins to even be recognised, upon being greeted at the door we asked for a table for 4 people. The lady looked at the restaurant and said all of our tables are taken sorry, we then asked if we could have food at another table and was told we weren't allowed as it wasn't apart of the restaurant. May I just state that I have used this table before when they have been busy, upon observing there were several tables that were available and just needed to be cleared up. When I pointed the table out to the waitress and told her she could clean and we could sit there, she reluctant agreed. We waited for her to clean the table grabbed some drinks whilst we wait and finally become seated. From when we first walked in everything declined we should have really just walked out the door, we would of had better service from macdonalds. Whilst sat at the table with the drinks we just got from the bar, a waitress comes and asks us if we need drinks which evidently we didn't we were only 3 sips in. She then asked if we were ready to place our food order and I asked her to give us a couple of minutes which turned out to be 10. Hunger kicked in and we went to the salad bar instead, there was only two bowls out which had not been touched because they were not clean and we had to ask the chef for more. Next we go over to get some rolls only 3 left on the shelf, we also had to ask for them to be stocked. Roughly 7 minutes of having out salad bowls we got the waitresses attention to place our order. We asked what the supplement was on the 2 or 3 course menu and she said she didn't know. My example was upgrading the steak size from 10oz to 12oz, she still had no clue. We then recieved our food which looked like there was a shortage of peas to be precise I had 32 peas on my plate. The peppercorn sauce was horrendous and was disliked by the whole group so we sent them back and asked not to be charged. The manager told the waitress since it had been served to our plates we would be paying for it, we dipped in it once it was nearly touched. I then asked for the manager to come and see me at the table to waiver this from the bill and only me out of the group took a beef dripping replacement instead. He agreed and I had another 10 min wait for my beef dripping, by this time my table had finished thier food. My bland steak went cold whilst I waited for my sauce to arrive, I then continued to finish my food as I was hungry. We then ordered rocky Road horror which was basically a choclate icecream Sunday, then asked for the bill. The bill came and it said the it was £19.99 for a 3 course meal or & 17.99 for a 2 course. We had 3, 3 course meals and 1 2 course meal and the bill came in at £98. Upon asking the waitress why it was that high she went and asked the manger who sent her back out, I'm guessing she didn't have a clue as she come back flustered and was knocking everything over. She then calls for assistance, in which another lady helped her work out the bill and came to us to explain. Our bill should have been £77.96 but we was told because we had steak we had to pay £5 supplement. This is naughty and steak should not be on a 3 course menu at that price since supplement means a thing added to something else in order to complete or enhance it. Which we did not do, so your 3 for for £19.99 is extremely misleading especially when I did not add or enhance the option given. This must be changed at this point I'm absolutely livid and so is the rest of my table. I just couldn't wait to pay up and get out of there. Personally Harvester is ticked off my list for good now and I will not be returning, its safe to say the rest of the table said the same. Let's not forget to mention another beer that we asked for mid meal and we waiting so long we didn't get it.

Had great customer service from Gemma. She was so polite, professional, patient and lovely in general. My family and I had a great time and the food was amazing. Thanks to Gemma our experience was lovely and we had a wonderful time dining in.

Went in, along with our baby, waited for around 10 minutes to be seated. Nobody even acknowledged us. Place was not busy, lots of table were free. Waiters made eye contact and then walked away. Just left in the end. Will say felt like a bit of racist experience.

Came last Tuesday to have breakfast with my husband and loved the experience. Service was great, by Caroline. She was so nice and helpful, haven’t had this good service in a while!! Breakfast was good too, I had the veggie one, maybe I would have put some more mushrooms but it was good overall. We really enjoyed and will be back

Food use to be good here and the potion size bigger now they have made the potion Smaller and the taste isn't great Masha pea's dry and hard I made a complaint about it but heard nothing back oh well no tip🤣lucky the salad made up for it. The coke got a strange taste to it. My friend had the same problem with the salmon no taste....

Nice evening, enjoyable meal. We have several Harvesters close by but this one remains our favourite both for the staff and atmosphere.

This Harvester has really gone down hill, food was edible but not that nice: salad bar and dry rolls. Not Harvester I remembered!!!

The food was nice, staff were friendly and polite and the kids loved the salad bar. We did wait a little while to be served once we were seated as it was very busy.

Nice place to meet friend for a catch up. Food wasn't overtly exciting, nice to see the free salad bowl is still a hit although distinctively smaller. Good meal option to suit your budget Overall the staff were fabulous

Came for Breakfast with Santa, food was ok but although they promised goody bag, chocolate treat etc there was absolutely none of that apart from a Santa walking around telling everyone he can’t hear anything as he s going deaf Really not great experience for my two kids

Service was very good. Food delivery at table, the server ( it wasn't our waitress) bought our main course over before we had finished our starter, didn't offer to take the main course back. Our mains were therefore not as hot when we started to eat them. The kitchen needs to ensure that when the food is sent out you can eat it without breaking a tooth. I should have had garlic bread with my starter, it was like a large chunk of bread which was rock hard.

Eat here for three successive nights, nice food reasonably priced, help yourself salad bar, good atmosphere. 👍

Jade served us today and she was so kind and friendly. Checking in if we needed serving or any help as I had a baby. She had a smile on her face and seemed so happy to be working there. She helped me get my bottomless drink as I couldn’t as feeding my son, just went out of her way to be really welcoming. Thank you

Haven't been here for a few months decided to go on 1st December won't be in a rush to go back the quality of the food is gone downhill, I ordered the roseterie chicken from the festive menu and the roast potatoes were half cooked the pig in blanket was overcooked and burnt, my wife ordered fish and chips the fish used to be covered in a nice crispy bubbly batter, this time just had a thin layer of batter on top, sister ordered steak and asked for well done but didn't expect it to be burned and very dry when it came out, the food used to be really nice in this restaurant something is gone wrong somewhere.

I went here today this evening and I had a great experience. The food was great and the service was excellent. Many thanks to our server, Rosie who provided exceptional service and really added to the nice family environment of the restaurant. BTW salad is great.

Drinks took 15 mins to arrive, our starters never arrived, mains were fine but I had to eat my steak with a butter knife, not a steak knife… ,desert arrived cold. Very dissapointing
