I booked to play on my own while on holiday in the area. The service in the Pro Shop was great but in the clubhouse it was sadly lacking, not even a “Hello”. The food was good and the views superb. For an elite club, the fact visitors have to buy course guides, etc was a bit of a surprise. I was at Royal Aberdeen two weeks ago and was given a nice valuables bag with a course guide, tees, pencil and a pitch mark repairer. It isn’t the end of the world to not have this but it would have been nice to have a memento.

If a table with a view of the golf course and beach is where you wish to start your day then this is the place, wonderful breakfast and attentive staff.

I was expecting a howling gale - we played in Mediterranean sunshine with the lightest breeze. Wonderful, challenging course - a real test of golf. We had a very friendly welcome with excellent bacon sandwiches served by the wonderful staff. The clubhouse is a warren of interesting rooms with a huge outside space.

De nuevo después de jugar un montón de golf esto es algo que debe hacer justo en la costa con impresionantes vistas. El personal es amable y la casa club antiguo y lleno de recuerdos. La comida está bien pero será sólo el golf que venía para 11/10. Agujeros largos verdes y un montón de viento engañosa. El día que me tocaba el inglés un grado iban a través de aficionados hay pasos para la taza viene en junio. Puede que en un chico pelota y poner. Fue a verlos.

Bei der Buchung des Greenfees war automatisch ein Essen im Club Restaurant enthalten. Im Restaurant angekommen, zeigte uns ein Schild mit unserem Namen, dass wir bereits erwartet wurde. Die Dame hinter der Theke war jedoch über nichts informiert. Da die Küche lt. Info des Office um 15.00 Uhr bereits geschlossen hatte, erhielten wir einige kalte vorbereitete Sandwiches. Zudem wurde uns eine Schüssel hingestellt in die eiligste eine Tüte Chips entleert wurde. Das war es. Unsere Bitte nach Getränke an der Theke, die wir selbstverständlich auch bezahlen wollten, wurde geflissentlich mehrfach übersehen.

The course was fantastic and in a great shape even after a rough winter. The staff were friendly and helpful and I will definitely be returning after the Senior Open this year

Absolutely amazing, food was beautiful. The lady that served us , Karen behind the bar us was so lovely and helpful, my elderly mother has Alzheimer’s, and Karen , helped in every way and made the whole experience perfect. I would highly recommend the Royal Oak to all my friends and family. Thank you so much 😊

M4 J35This was a lunch to celebrate Christmas with our chapel friends. We were served by Stewart, Siân and Owain who looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was wonderful (as usual). Some people had the Christmas lunch and some had different dishes, but everyone enjoyed their meals.

Nr PorthcawlWent there on a Saturday to celebrate my mums birthday. I had prebooked which I recommend for bigger parties. The food was fabulous, all 7 of us enjoyed our meals. As I’ve been before and know the portion sizes are big we skipped starters and only a few managed dessert! The staff are good, different to the staff I usually see on my mid week visits. They are brilliant and the ones today were good too.

Eastern PromenadeHave been to this restaurant quite a few times and have to say the food and service is exceptional! Special mention to Becky who honestly is absolutely amazing ! Nothing is too much trouble and she goes out of her way to ensure that everything is perfect. Will definitely be going back....Well done Becky and thank you for your help to always making us feel special ❤️

Llangynwyd VillageMy wife and myself recently booked a table for an evening meal which we payed a deposit for .Unfortunately it was cancelled due to a storm that cut the electricity off.When my wife phoned about the deposit she was told they would phone back .After 2 weeks and several more phone calls we were told we would have to go back up to the restraunt as they couldn’t do it over the phone .When my wife went up to the bar to speak to a waitress she was very abrupt and rude and said she wouldn’t do it and said someone else would have to do it . My wife found her response very rude and it has put us off returning there again .
