Great service. Strange to see so many people drinking beer at 08.00

Was good but over past year has gone downhill food and service wise

Good pub with good food and beer. Above average staff. Great customer service. Grill chef produces magnificently cooked steaks!😁🍻

A typical Wetherspoons that does what it says on the tin.. it does have a large screen for sports and a dance floor of an evening.

I've had plenty of great value, good quality food in multiple Wetherspoons pubs. Sadly, this wasn't one of them. tried their new Korean Spicy Chicken in Spoons Yate and it was great. In The Royal Enfield it was very poor. Undercooked chips, overcooked but barely warm chicken and not much Korean sauce. Would have sent it back but short on time.

Didn't eat, just went in for a quick pint while in town. Came out with suitably sticky shoes from the carpet. It's a 'spoons, what more can I say?

Mediocre at best. Cheap though.

Disgusted. Dirty tables, Pastry and Food on floor around chair and table. Menus dirty and smeared with food. An unhygienic and place to eat. Poor over worked lady server at her wits end rushing around chasing her tail. Avoid mixed grill. Meat over grilled, dry tasteless and tough consistency of cardboard. Vaguely warm Jacket Potato dry with one butter pat which was in liquid form having been left on the pass. Delicious Norfolk sausage cold! Similarly Onion Rings. Plate barely warm. Heinz sauce packets unopenable. A truly disgusting waste of £30 quid for two. Tim Martin you surely cannot let this go on. You have a world beating brand which I have used all over the country. This experience has been the very worst! Manager comment: Sorry, You should have sent it back there is nothing I can do. Sorry Sir Tim, At my age I have better things to do than play meal tennis with what should have been a pleasurable lunch. PS the dogs enjoyed the meat at home. Parking unavailable. Beer usually good selection.

Excellent meal, very reasonably priced

Use this place when attending events in Town ,lovely staff ,the only problem is food supply ,Saturday carnival day they run out of Pizzas and lot's of other food's, last rememberance day no fish and chip's and very few other options,I understand that you are very busy on these day's can you possibly order more in for these busy day's? apart from this it is a welcoming place.

Staff on bar friendly but rest on pub a mess no one clearing tables couldn't find anywhere to sit. Clean tablet ourself toilet got no toilet rolls in there

Had a great meal and dessert, washed down with a great pint or three of Punk IPA. Excellent value for the money with excellent service and friendly staff.

New to the area, highly recommended to come here, catlin(not sure on spelling) behind the bar just rude. Stood at the till both saw each other, she then walked away to have a laugh with the manager who i believe is called Jim. So then i said please may i order as I'd already been standing for a while. Her attitude was rude, no friendliness about her unless you're a local she can flirt with. She wasn't helpful when i ordered, and i went to walk away without my drink and very rudely she shouted do you not want your drink,making the pub go quiet making me feel very embarrassed. no thank you no please either from her. Will not be coming back as you was made to feel uncomfortable and out of place as soon as i walked through the door. Ruined my sunday evening!

Very disappointing, 4 ales at bar, not one available. Feels like random selection to get served.

A went in today with my family it was quite quiet tables weren't clean service a was stood at the bar for 10 minutes while staff were standing around the other side talking we ordered food and what we got was the worst we ever had for starts the meals were wrong the chips weren't cooked and the burgers didn't taste nice we had one bit and walked out I should of just thrown it down the drain a wouldn't recommend this place dirty and descuting and the chef sits on his seat while cooking ad invest in cleaners or better staff won't be returning

Service could of been better. When stood at the bar after 5 mins of being ignored then was acknowledged. Then when i went to order the bar lady got distracted talking to a colegue about something so waited ages for my drinks. When i was being served she was very pleasant. Food was nice though.

It's a Wetherspoons, great staff. Couldn't ask for more. This is Shawarma wrap with rice, which was quite nice.. albeit it was small but tasty..

One of my faves in Redditch but to be fair there’s not much in Redditch to choose from , but is lively and busy especially at the weekend and a good mix of ages

This place was the old cinema, so very quirky inside. Meals to suit all budgets. Good variations of food. Attentive staff.

Food was ok but do need music playing in the back ground . Its a pub to feel comfy not a grave yard

Visited many Wetherspoons over the years in different parts of the UK this one is the worst one I've ever been in.It needs updating it's looking tired & worn out,too many tables mean you're in very close proximity to other people when you're eating,also the tables weren't being cleared very quickly.

Worst spoons,dirty,plates and glasses left throughout the bar and tables ! No service,it’s 20 mins wait at the bar because only one serving and using the app is about the same amount of time !

Soleless box of a pub! It has great potential but noone seems to care as long as the money is still trickling in!

A large witherspoons pub with plenty of seating and TV screens. Very poor section of low or zero alcohol beers

Poor getting moved off tables to make space for people to watch football, maybe manger should have written something on these tables

Good food and good prices for the food. My hubby has a full English breakfast for £5.99. I had a curry rice and poppadoms. Good portions.

Great Wetherspoons value and great interior decor (especially if you like motorbikes or British industrial history)

Simply dreadful service. We had to remind the staff to bring our food to the table after seeing it at the service hatch. Then it was incomplete and had to go back again to remind them. I understand that mistakes can happen, no problem, but this happened the last time I went. I travel around a lot and frequently use Wetherspoons establishments, but this no question at the bottom of the pile. Pretty shocking.

Very cheap food and tastes excellent. We had BBQ Melted Chicken, with soft drink £10, great price and good. Typical pub with TV for sporting events. Any time.

Called here for tea on an overnighter in Redditch. Usual Wetherspoons great standard, but slightly disappointed as 5 bean chilli is no longer on the menu. I replaced it with vegan roast veg pizza which is probably my new favourite dish now. Great building, must have been a fabulous picture house in its day, not too keen on the constant music though

Nice quiet spot, had a little work to catch up on, nice change of environment. Don't like Wetherspoons food it's not nice and has become worse over time so I don't bother anymore.

Visited admittedly on a Wednesday night so was never going to be buzzing but there were probably 50 plus customers in so should have been OK. It wasn't. This is a massive pub with a big bar , hardly any of the bar was in use, there were 2 bar staff who just didn't keep up and service got worse as the night went on. One of the servers was very abrupt, to the point of being surly. And according to her name badge she was the duty manager! People were waiting 10 minutes plus to get served. This pub is missing a trick, one more member of bar staff would help a lot. Then there's the pub itself. A lot of tables were left dirty with plates and glasses when we walked in just before 7. Again I guess this is due to short staff. That doesn't explain the scaffold tower that was just left out in the middle of the pub though. It wasn't erected or anything but surely this could or should have been in a store room or at the least pushed into an out of the way area rather than left in the middle of the pub? Then there's the toilets. I can't speak for the ladies one but the gents is DISGUSTING! Floor soaked with urine around the urinal area and out of 3 cubicles, 1 was out of order with a sign on, the second was completely filthy with no toilet roll and looked like something out of a horror movie, leaving one cubicle for a large pub. Not good at all. I would put money on the fact these toilets had not been checked let alone cleaned all night. In general the whole place just looks and feels very tired and in need of some TLC and some of the friendly and helpful staff that you would normally associate with a Wetherspoons.

Had the unfortunate experience of going to this 'pub' 😕 thought with it being a Wetherspoons that it would be a good experience as in other Wetherspoons across the country, how wrong was I 😲 service was appalling, had to form a que for a pub that had a handful of customers, would hate to see it when it's busy, the toilets were absolutely disgusting and looked like they hadn't been cleaned for weeks and as for the atmosphere it was soulless. All that said the beer was good and a great price but would happily pay extra with things improved.

Spoons innit. At least it's a nice, big venue. Drinks are cheap, food is quick, staff seem nice.

I ordered a 8” garlic bread pizza. It wasn’t a pizza, it was a flatbread but rock hard. Wasted my last £4.40 on that. And now after taking some bites it was like bitting into cardboard

Usually a good place to drink but went with my partner yesterday had 2 beers each, woke up this morning and we’re both very sick probably won’t go again

It's conveniently located close to the Kingfisher shopping centre and bus station. The pub was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a table for late lunch. Food is freshly prepared and delicious The staff is friendly and helpful during our visit The building is beautifully decorated with plenty of history of Redditch and has a Beer garden attached for additional seatings area.

Great breakfast if you are early between 8 and 09:30

Waited at the bar for a good 20 minutes before being served, people kept getting served before me, even though they came after me. Ordered a large mixed grill with mash, that mash was smash mash, the eggs were dry and rubbery, the pepper corn sauce tasted like crappie and the meats were bland and I don't know what they did to the lamb but it tasted like washing liquid. Safe to say that I won't be coming here again.

Food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. The prices are very good. Wonderful building ( the old cinema) and it has a lovely outdoor area at the back. Highly recommend the tomato and basil soup and the steaks are cooked to perfection.

Probably the best Wetherspoon pub I've been to. The staff are fantastic, always friendly and welcoming.

Me and my friends went for a drink. All had our IDs (all 20) staff was rude. Unhelpful Kept staring and following us around. We smiled and they gave us desth stares. All we wanted was a catch up and we were greeted with rude and miserable staff

You can never go wrong with a large breakfast and a cuppa tea. You get the die hards who like a drink what ever the time of day but there is more than enough space to sit with family and have a meal. It's our go to place when we travel down to visit family 👍

For how busy it was it took ages to be served friends had food and it was good value same as the beer prices was good I would definitely go back

What can you say about a Wetherspoons? Cheap and cheerful as always! It tends to always be pretty busy in here any time and any day. Often many of the tables have dirty plates and glasses, but staff are always friendly enough and service is speedy.

It's nice and cheap food and drinks to a good standard not much more than that but it's good value and it's filling what more can you ask for.

Good beers, good food, bar service is slow, usually run out of ales, atmosphere is generic, place is dark new lighting is required, more tvs on the walls would be good if you like to watch the horses etc... come on spoons you can do better especially now it's the only one in town.

First time trying for food, had a wonderful breakfast & staff always happy to help.

For one of the few ala-carte fine dining experiences within Redditch, you cannot miss "The Royal Enfield". Located within a locally historical building (with a new outdoor drinking platform, with views of the inner ring road) it's the place to bring any human being to impress or reward them. Highly recommend. Bottomless hot drinks (tea, coffee, etc) are also worthy of mention.

Ate here with a friend, we had fish and chips, the food was cooked nicely, chips were nice and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, cod was cooked really well too, my only negative point was the portion size was abit too small for a grown man! Could have had twice the amount of chips, and a few more baked beans, but apart from that the food was very tasty. Staff looked abit bored and uninterested, but at the end of the day we enjoyed our food, just would have been nice if we got abit more of a smile when being served. Overall I would return

The building is stunning - converted cinema - and had an Enfield motorbike on the wall, celebrating local history I guess. Yes, it's dark but meant to be; table clear and as clean as most Spoons. Staff helpful, music greatest hits. Food really nice. Happy we went to this place.

Nice atmosphere with good drinks at affordable prices. The only dislike is the music after 10.00 in the evening. It is very very loud and head banging repetitive music. I've not had food here so can't give it any stars. I would recommend it also it's nice to order on their app for drinks and food .

Been here many times. Love it. Really like the mezzanine area in the summer months. Prices are great.

They need to sort the heating... It's always freezing cold ! Apart from that it is quite dark as well not enough natural lighting.

Was in here on Saturday 2nd December, what a total and utter let down, food prices have gone up, the usual good chef was on, but the food was cold and overcooked, the pub was cold too, as the heater was broken So many people walking round with coats on, couldn't identify the table number, lady behind the bar said it was 15, and it was 45, so had to search for me with the food, me and my granddaughter had to rush to eat because the food went cold straight away virtually. Not happy 😒

The restaurant is a former cinema, then club, situated in Enfield, once a town in its own right, but largely has lost identity to Redditch since that town's inception in 1961. Easy to get to in the town centre, and 100 yards from the railway station, the Royal Enfield is popular, especially the garden area. Get used to a 500 cc bike attached to one of the walls inside the building! We enjoyed being there.

Cheap beer, dark and dingey, OK if you just want to drink. No atmosphere.

Bad treatment from security. Brown man, about 5 foot 4 inches. He said I couldn’t bring an ASDA bag in, I was showing him there were only flip flops in the bag (he didn’t check the bag as I came in even though he was the guard at the door), I was proving there was no alcohol in there, just size 5 flip flops for my friend who had high heels on so I asked do I still have to put the bag at the front door if there’s nothing of concern inside. He rudely shrugged me off and walked away and the conversation wasn’t over. I walked after him and tapped his shoulder, he turned around and swore at me. This is so unacceptable, I’ll let it off this time but if this treatment happens again I’ll call the police. I’m a 5 foot 2 woman. Don’t be a security guard if you’re hostile and rude, it’s not the job for you.

Bar staff need to have some training in customer service. Throwing drinks at customers saying there you go. Manager is just as bad. They need to realise that it's the paying customer that is paying their wages. No need for the attitude. A smile and thank you wouldn't go amiss. Shocking. Beers cheap so 1 star
