The Romans in Adur

I've not eaten here so can't comment. Otherwise it a pretty decent pub. They have sport on the telly that I personally don't like hence only 4 star, no sport on telly it would be a 5 star

Not a lot only if you want a drink pool table and football TV sets no food yet

Great little pub nice beers on tap and some good larger all so if you like to have one. The staff are so friendly and there is a nice big garden in the back with seated area . Plus the is a few good parking spaces in the front off the bar are too. .

Family friendly pub,amazing staff that always make you feel welcome,a strong community pub that's is always supporting different events,both the land lord and lady are the cornerstone of the southwick community 🙏

Friendly staff and good atmosphere

Very noisy, not my type of place but many people seemed like it!

A brilliant place to visit to meet up with old friends and the atmosphere was great I'll definitely be going back there again and very soon.

It was a family function in the function room. Double doors to the garden with the footy on outside so brilliant. Amazing staff and a great night. Cheers 🍻

We recently had a family gathering and used the fantastic function room Staff 5* Food 5* Service 5* Really nice place would recommend to anyone

I was there for a private function and found the staff fabulous and pub friendly with great entertainment.Also live entertainment I have been back to see since .A true reflection of a great run pub .A place you can take the wife your mates your kids or even on your own.

A local pub for local people. I liked it, friendly patrons and a manager who supports west ham. What's not to like??

Spotlessly clean and excellent service. Just a shame like most places in Brighton - toilets are on a different level. The food was hot and full over flavour

We always us The Romans pub for our Wakes. The last one being November 2022 for our dear uncle. The staff are very accommodating and the food is always very good and ample. They will change anything that you don't like too. Thank you everyone at the Romans.

Not great for allergy sufferers. Slow sporadic service.we were not served together and no apology given. Food when it came was ok but not excellent.

Last pub of our crawl of Portslade ,Hove and Southwick. Very good and a warm welcome..

We booked The Romans for our Mother's Celebration of Life. Lee was very helpful and went over and above the call of duty to make it a great event. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect! Thanks. :)

The Romans has never been quite my " cuppa " ,always preferred a more intimate pub but food is great there nice outside area as well,just the thing on a hot summer Sunday eating there superb Ploughmans Lunch. Highly recommended !!

Great Sunday roast at a sensible price.

The Perch has views overlooking Lancing Beach. Theirs meals are varied and delicious. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can eat in but probably need to book as it's very popular. They have a takeaway service which is very good. You can eat it outside on benches or sit on the beach. We'll worth a visit!

Had a great night here. The lads were friendly, nice open fire. We will be returning.

The Romans was a fantastic pub with a brilliant landlord! It was the first time I've ever been there and I got made to feel very welcome and at home within the environment. Just south of excellent and totally efficient in the current government guidelines.

I have come to this pub several times for family funerals and they have been nice and warm to us but on Saturday 9th November 2019 I came down with my sister to help celebrate my cousin's 6oth birthday and once again it was a great party.

Arrived for a drink... no bar staff...went to toilet and walked back to bar...NO BAR STAFF! .. ten minute visit without seeing a member of staff.. bored waiting and left. Excellent business strategy (good luck)

Entertainment includes multiple tvs with live sports, pool and barbilliards tables, fruit machines, darts board and jukebox. Staff are very polite and friendly. Plenty seating in both a general and sports bar as well as large outside seating area with heated smoking area. (Edit) no longer daily food but have theme nights one a month with great food courses at a great price

Large pub with two bars.TV and pool tables in one bar, the other bar has nice seating and door to the large garden. Covered smoking area with seating and wall heaters. Nice to sit down with a drink and a cigarette. Garden has seating as well.

My local. Poor selection of lager, lots of bitter if you like that. Quite busy, very popular for parties

Roman pub too old now so better change new carver meal that peoples will love it.

Nice local pub, seems friendly enough

This is THE PLACE to have a birthday party! They let you have your own private bar (ground floor), the DJ a few doors away, and they provide fantastic buffet food. All you do is invite your mates, turn up and have a good time, and then leave - and they tidy up! Fantastic service and friendly staff. This is my second year. I reckon I'll be back next.
