Really lovely traditional proper pub. Very friendly atmosphere. No food on the day I visited unfortunately but I am planning to visit again.

A great place to have a pint of Banks Bitter. Always well kept and poured.

Came to this pet friendly pub on the off chance while I was traveling through wolverhampton, lovely friendly staff massive home cooked Sunday lunch great atmosphere, the icing on the cake was the two open coal fires especially as it was cold and snowed recently definitely coming back when I'm in the area,

Great atmosphete. Nice staff, warm open coal fires, great large portion on food. Very delicicious. Fast service. Great place. Try it for yourself and see.! And most important, a dog friendly place.

Where else could you get a large baguette with sausages (meat or veggie), salad, and chips for £4.95? Prices at the Roebuck were amazing, with ample mains for four people costing only £22? One would have thought that the pub would be crowded, but there were very few customers for Saturday lunch, and the place was quiet. Unfortunately the menu is changing, and we were told that they couldn’t maintain these prices from around December 2023. Even with higher prices, I think we’ll be back.

Sunbeam very disappointing Sunday November 5th, 7.30 pm. Didn't raise with bar staff, as they were busy serving.

Food was delicious. Plates were hot. Food was fresh, lots of it and excellent value for money, Staff were polite, friendly and attentive.

Had a couple of nights here last weekend, a wonderful proper pub with proper regulars. We were visiting the area and stayed in our motorhome on the rear car park. Brilliant selection of beers and and a great breakfast. Will be back soon. 🙂🍻🙂

Absolutely fantastic breakfast the owner Chris went out of his way went above and beyond to fulfill every request . Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Rare to find local establishments these days that pride themselves on customer service very impressed with this place keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Me and my husband came to watch the Lionesses v Denmark game. When we knew they did breakfast we were sold! And it did not disappoint. Bacon, egg, sausage, beans, has brown, tomatoes, mushroom and toast. Well worth the money and will definitely be returning!

My wife and I popped in on Friday morning as saw the social media post advertising breakfast with the Lionesses match on. So glad we did! Food was absolutely exceptional with what were clearly very well sourced ingredients that were prepared to absolute perfection. Cannot recommend this breakfast enough! Food was beautifully presented, piping hot throughout and most importantly of all absolutely delicious!

The Sunday dinners are amazing!!

Really nice pub and fantastic staff, who were very helpful during our visit. We came for lunch with our dog and sat in the garden aswell as inside. Would highly recommend.

A really great pub, great food and friendly landlady and staff. We stopped in campervans and were made to feel very welcome, highly recommended.

Went for lunch, the staff were attentive and the food was excellent: don't be fooled by the simplicity of the menu, the meals are delicious. Interior was clean and well-kept.

I'm a dog walker and I've been walking past this pub for ages meaning to pop in .....so I did and I wasn't disappointed I asked if it was OK if my dog could come in as it was raining the land lady sara was brill gave my dog water and treats and really made a lovely fuss of my rather old Jack Russell "razzle"...really lovely friendly pub and nice and warm xxx thankyou roebuck for restoring my faith in the good British boozer xx

Great date night, food and service was amazing

Such a wonderfully warm and welcoming pub. We have been coming here on and off for 10 years now, but recently have made it more of our regular local. We celebrate my Birthday in there last night and I was made to feel so welcome. Even had a few on the house birthday drinks from the staff. I made sure they had slices of my birthday cake! Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening xxx

Lovely landlady, incredibly welcoming

Whilst trying to eat food in the restuarant area there was a pub quiz taking place which was annoying, if it was in the bar area fine...plus nobody was taking part anyway!!..plus kids running around everywhere, won't be back.

We went for lunch and a couple of drinks. The food was great pub food with a very friendly atmosphere. The manager is very friendly. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!!!!

Brilliant Staff and the food is banging. Especially the omelettes :) Love the new decor from the refurb.

Our first time at this pub and unfortunately we won't be coming back. We waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken and 45 minutes for the food to arrive. I had the all day breakfast, no butter for the toast, the sausage was a hot dog sausage and the eggs were swimming in grease. My partner had the Hunters Chicken, ordered beans but came with peas, the chicken was smothered with cheese and we were unsure what the sauce was.

A great friendly pub, staff are all brilliant, food is top notch, i really like this place, it's also worth mentioning that the sunday roasts are top notch, great meal perfectly cooked and plenty of it

Only started going in over the past few months. Staff welcoming and friendly. A nice change of decor following a refurbishment and the clock is something to behold. Good selection of premium beers at a reasonable price. I have not had the chance to try the food as yet but will be trying it in the near future. Have quite happily recommended to others.

A decent pint. Nice aesthetics. Good company. Good staff. Food is a bit lacking in terms of menus and options. But aside from that can't knock it at all. Probably the only decent pub on the penn Road.

Great pub, food is amazing portion sizes are perfect giving the cost of living prices nothing is cut in half's here. Clean and friendly environment under great management who are helpful and very outgoing 👍🏼

I have not visited this pub in years ...glad to see its still very traditional...had Sunday lunch it was like my nans .. .really nice ...good luck to the new gaffers spoke to th both really nice people and the staff really good too

Went to roebuck for drinks then food was mentioned, , curries , samosas etc , tried the samosas , chips& chiken wings & kebab dish, was spicy & cooked hot but thechips were ocer done , hard as nails.. yuk also the dreadedhaur was found in the kebab dish , the chef came out & tried to blame my partner that it was hers , seeing as her hair was not blond , it was from something else , then the chefs server tried the same approach , and he even knocked my beer over, he did get me another one , but not a good end to this episode . Needless to say we never paid for the food & left frustrated. What to customer service & rational thought, serms the bew occipiers need to be re educated in customer service. We wont return & wont recommend ever...grrr!!!

Staff unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome in the premises, went in for food to be told no one was in to serve food until upon asking what time we could order food, we were told ‘erm he ain’t here yet, maybe after 3pm’ will not be returning, not a pleasant environment

Must admit this is definitely the best pint of Sunbeam I have ever had. I came in for another ale (Directors) but am sticking with this for sure.

Good pub, nice staff, traditional.

We popped in over the weekend for a quick drink with family and were pleased to see the place had been spruced up a bit and was now under new management , staff were friendly and quick with their service and cleanliness was fantastic. It was a shame the food had stopped for now but the beer was definitely greatly improved from our last visit, and obvious a lot more care was being taken to improve standards. We will be recommending to friends and visiting again.

Had a really nice time here this afternoon! I came with a couple of friends for a few drinks and a catch-up. The bar service was really quick and everyone working was extremely friendly! They will definitely be seeing me again within the near future! :)

Great pub pity they let Leon go he was a top landlord. Won't be coming back here again. Marston brewery need to sort their criteria out and provide adequate funding.

The pub is amazing and also staff Scott Gemma and leon and amazing food by Luke table clean and I’m a regular customer and it is always clean and tidy family friendly however it’s not the same without Scott and luke and Leon

Great pub with great staff. Leon, jemma and Scott always go the extra mile. There is a Dj each Friday who always play great songs.

A nice pub with dj, quiz and karaoke nights. Great staff, environment and selection of drinks. Leon, Jenna and Scott behind the bar are always friendly and go the extra mile. Tables are always avalible, clean and empty glasses taken away.

Great place to have a Catch up with friends. Clean pub, Dj on Friday is amazing and quiz nights are a laugh! staff Leon, Jemma & Scott always go above and beyond when serving customers, they are a great asset to the pub😊😊

A friendly pub. Who offered a buffet for a wake I attended . Not the best buffet was ok .. not enough choice if you were a vegetarian. Was just sandwiches and cakes. Would of perfered more of a selection. But the place was quaint and welcoming. A traditional pub.

A friendly drinking man's pub that's crossed over a bit towards families in the day/early evening. The landlords make an effort to keep it a bit lively here and there with various events.

Fabulous atmosphere, welcoming and good fresh cooked food at excellent value ! Its so good I’d pay a lot more for the quality given its a bargain ! Defo recommend
