Lovely oldy worldy station cafe. Nice selection of quality teas and food. It is quite small inside, but there is seating outside in a sheltered area on the old train platform.

Very nice place too go friendly staff great food and for me I like the pre sixties feel it's just up my street.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The cakes are delicious as is the coffee.

Lemon cake and best cup of tea I have had for a while. Staff friendly and polite. Loved the old music played in the background. Very relaxing to sit there after a walk. Lovely little shop and transport museum nearby.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly staff, great food and drinks, dog friendly and great dog treats. Great for walkers, cyclists and close to the canal too. The puppachino is like no other and my dog loves his as a treat (see photo) The food is freshly made to order, everything we've had here has been delicious. The afternoon tea is well worth booking for and the loaded nachos are recommended. 5* in every way!

Great little pit stop on the Smetstow walk , a good range of teas, coffees, sandwich but most importantly Cakes, lovely lovey Cakes 🎂. Always worth a visit. Oh did I mention the Cakes !!!!!

Beautiful location and perfect atmosphere

Very small place with only a few staff. Lovely and relaxing and cake is all homemade. You have to wait a bit for coffees etc to be made but it's worth it!

Was a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon to have brunch at this vintage tea room. Seats inside and out. Dog and child friendly. Food great, and the service is great. Another treat is to visit the Tettenhall Transport Heritage Centre, which is just opposite to the tea room

Great dog-friendly cafe. Very limited seating indoors, so expect to sit under the station canopy for dining. Fab selection of breakfasts and cakes. Staff are all friendly.

It's a great place to be, it can get very busy and also nice and cozy inside. Plenty of seating area outside depending on weather. Staff are so friendly and it's a dog friendly place. Our Bella loves everyone's attention and has lots of fuss from the staff. 🤩

What a lovely little cafe to stop at when going out for a walk along the railway line. Myself and my mom came here today to walk our dog Luna for around an hour as it was too cold to go out for a linger walk. We have walked both ways with the way going to Compton being the best way for a walk. The Hot drinks here have been some of the best I have ever had, food was lovely too. Ordered the Puppiccuno and Honey and Oats treats for Luna and she loved them, she still wanted our food as well even after eating all her food. 🤣

Friendly, clean, comfy, accommodating. Lovely place to call in during our walk on Sunday morning. Good selection of drinks - including children's drinks. Selection of cakes looked yummy, but we didn't try them as it was too near to lunch! We sat inside but there were ample tables outside too. Most enjoyable!

Really disappointed with our lunch here. Veggie sausage sandwich had the least amount of effort possible put into it, my 9 year could have made it better. £3.20 for 2 pieces of cheap brown bread and 2 sausages with no t even any butter on the bread. Can't have cost them more than 50p in ingredients. Rest of the family's food disappointing aswell. A real shame as have been here before and food was much better. Guess new owners are not that fussed on return custom.

I can not believe this little gem has been on my doorstep for so long and I didn't know. Went today for the first time today and I was blown away by how picturesque this little cafe is. Not only was the decor warm, inviting and just beautiful, but they were playing what sounded like 30s/40s music which really set the atmosphere of this characteristic little place. It was like a time capsule, and looking out onto the nature trail was just the icing on the cake. The cakes looked stunning and the food all smelt divine. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Prices were reasonable too! I could've sat on the outside terrace for hours and hours in peaceful bliss. It was raining but well sheltered. Can not wait to visit again!

The teas, coffees & cakes are lovely & very welcome after a walk. It's a shame the opening hours have changed as we walk on a Thursday & it's never open. So many people have stopped by & expressed disappointment that they can't get any refreshment locally.

Excellent for a break during a dog walk on a Sunday, great coffee and cakes, or even a sausage sandwich!

Tried to get two cups of tea after a long bike ride at 2:45pm even with the signage saying it was open till 4pm and even the Google listing saying 4pm they wouldn't serve us. They claimed they have turned the kettle off. What's so hard about turning it back on and making some new customers? Now we won't bother trying again and will go elsewhere

Lovely friendly staff and excellent homemade cakes. We visit regularly and the service is always brilliant, even in the current difficult circumstances we find ourselves in. Would recommend this little gem to anyone.

This cafe is sited in an old railway station which was unused for many years. It is attractively decorated and has inside and outside tables and is adjacent to a car park. It also lies on the Smestow Valley nature walk and is close to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal and so is popular with walkers, cyclists and dog walkers. Currently just takeaway and using the outside tables.

A bit overpriced for some items, and unimpressed by the homemade cake portions.

This was a great stop off after a nice walk. We had a takeaway at this beautiful tea rooms with seating outside but from what I gather you could have sat inside before Covid. The food was great (ploughmans and bacon sandwich was amazing), the cake portions were huge and had to take the rest home. The coffee was the best we have tasted in the area and the venue is a fantastic hidden gem. Staff were lovely too and couldn't of been more helpful. Social distancing and extra cleaning adhered to as well. Great end to a lovely day Will definitely and can't wait to come back. 10 out of 10

I found it to be very extremly expensive for a not great bacon sandwich overcooked in my opinion asked for ketchup it came without. U can get a bacon and egg sandwich and sausage. Sandwich much nicer and half the price by me in Cradley heath. Will never go back to this place again. Will also advise others never to go here

A tale of two halves. Found this pretty little place on the unused railway line, having cycled from Wombourne.Food was really good. Veg samosas, sausage sandwich, ham sandwich all very fresh and tasty. My wife asked to use the toilet to be told that theirs was closed and only staff could use the staff one. I don't know the legalities of providing a toilet at a food/drink place, especially in times of pandemic. However, having paid the thick end of £20 for above lunch, inc cake and drinks, it's surely not on to simply tell customers they can't use the loo! Poor. Food great, access to facilities (bear in mind on a busy cycle/walking route) poor.

Ordered a cappuccino and got a milky coffee with no foam or chocolate. Venue is quaint but wouldn't come again

Amazing beautiful hot chocolates and teas

We stopped here after a good cycle down the disused train track coffees were bang on and the food was good staff was very freindly and social distancing was very good. Was nice to see staff cleaning down table and chairs with disinfectant spay ad a good natter with the owners family well done and keep up with the hard work in these worrying times.

Reopened today 2nd July restrictions but great to have it back open 09am till 14.oopm

I visted Cupcake Lane with my family. It was so relaxing, the staff were absolutely lovely. The surroundings were an ecleptic mix centering on a 1940's theme, which worked well. I will definately be returning - if you are looking for somewhere to have a light meal - or just a relaxing hot drink - this is the place.

Like sitting in a small piece of paradise, listening to the birds and people and dog watching. Nice café to sit by and watch the world go by.

Regularly stop off here for break after walking. Staff always friendly. It is a bit cramped inside when busy which it often is. They have tried to think of the comfort of customers by providing blankets for customers who wish to sit outside even during the winter months. alaways a good array of cakes to tempt the visitors.

Had a afternoon tea party for my daughter's birthday. The staff were so welcoming and did a great job. The food was excellent and the kid's, adults had a wonderful time celebrating. I would definitely recommend this venue, it's perfect!

Great little place and staff very helpful and polite glad I didn’t se some off the above reviews as for some of the comments are not how me and my wife found the service and staff it was a cold winters day and lovely and warm will definitely go again in the summer we had only gone to the museum across the other side though we would give it a try and glad we did

Real little gem tucked away from the road.

This place just keeps getting better. Wonderful cakes, great quality drinks. The cheese ploughman's is delicious and well made as are freshly made sandwiches and other savouries. My favourite place in the area.

Plenty of tea and coffee for thirsty cyclists. Cake is great too. Loads of places to secure your bike!

Cramped and kitche in a bad way. Cupcakes and bunting overload and not what I needed after a long walk. Poor quality sandwich with rather unpleasant salad garnish, Just wanted a decent butty and homeade cake ,not over loaded with sickly gunk.

Benefits from being very convenient for hikers, dog walkers and cyclists as well as those visiting by car. Setting is quaint and interesting in itself. Never had any problems with anything ordered but do feel that the service is somewhat slow and cake prices are on the high side. Nice enough people but something doesn't quite work. Maybe the olde worlde atmosphere leads to an over laid back approach to customer service.

Went here with my sister not long ago for the first time and really enjoyed the cakes; especially the angel sparkle cake. The staff were very friendly and talkative apart from one blonde-headed young girl who was very blunt and wasn’t very welcoming to my sister and I. I would come here again and recommend it to anyone really as it has a nice ambience and overall good atmosphere. Would definitely come here again
