We went to this restaurant to try it out as we used to use their Pub in Droxford, where the food was always excellent. We were not disappointed, apart from nobody greeting us on arrival, and having to seek a member of staff to find out which table was ours. The food was amazing, and the garlic chilli chicken starter was to die for. The wine list was extensive, and the prices very reasonable. The service was very good, and the food not too long to come out. A very busy restaurant so you do need to book. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the amazing Chefs, and staff for a lovely evening.

Was so very disappointed, after everything we had heard we were expecting great things. On arrival we were ignored and not acknowledged for 10 minutes. The venue is very attractive and well laid out, there is generally a positive ambience except the initial welcome. The food did not live up to expectations, all was bland and although we all had different dishes they all tasted the same, no chillies or spice in the meals . The place is quite pricey and sadly it was definitely not worth the money. Real shame

This new Indian GastroPub "Krishnas" is 5 Star. We could not fault it. Food portions are very generous. Each dish was authentic and very tasty. We enjoyed the Chettinand chicken curry, lamb rogan gosh, chicken tandoor and chicken tikka masala as mains, plus sag panner and chick pea masala as sides. Additionally the service is great and decor stylishly modern. Definitely a restaurant to return to. It is run by the same couple who ran the White Horse in Droxford. They clearly know the winning formula for an Indian Gastropub

Disappointed by the service on arrival. Other than a smile from the lady behind one area of the bar no one else acknowledged us. Not good my husband & I thought! I’d tried to book a table several times previously but hadn’t been successful. Booked a table over the phone on 27/9 for this evening to be told we don’t have a booking for you. No apology given but we could seat you in the snug around the bar area in about half an hour or so. We said no. Such a shame as we were so looking forward to eating at this Indian gastro pub for the first time. Sadly first impressions count! We managed to get a table at another local Indian restaurant though so all not lost 😁

Excellent food, generous portions. Beef pies are amazing with a choice of gravies. Great choice of accompanying sides. One had seasonal vegetables that were fresh carrots and broccoli together with mustard mashed potato. One had triple cooked scrummy chips and delicious red cabbage. First impressions mean a lot to me and as soon as we arrived I was disappointed by the outside - the flower tubs were uncared for. We received a warm welcome from the bar staff. I enjoyed my starter (lamb breast) but my main course of ribeye steak was disappointing. Whilst the steak was good the chips were dry and over cooked, the tomato was tasteless and the watercress garnish was past its best. We visited using a groupon but I would definitely not pay their normal prices - £26 for a ribeye steak!

Our visit was at the request of our senior member who was born and grew up just down the road from the pub. It was mid-afternoon, the barman was our waiter and Mum's comment was "no tablecloths" which I guess they did have when she was a girl. We did have a good meal - Cesar Salad, Cottage Pie and a Chicken Ciabatta with Avocado and bacon were all good. They had adverts for "Date Night" which was designed for couples on a Saturday night . They are a pet friendly ( as are most places in the UK ) having water bowls available for dogs who accompanied their owners to the Beer Garden in the back of the Pub.

Our first visit here in 20 yrs! We like the layout/décor and the dog is very welcome. We had the starter for two which was ok as you can't mess up olives, bread but the hummus was very bland and watery - needs more bite. For mains my partner had the cauliflower which was very good but for the price £14 £7-8 would be more reasonable. I had the pork wellington, again very good but well over-priced (and not sure all was prepared in-house) at £21 to me it would be £12-14. Wine is always an issue as the mark-up is horrendous where ever you go. Tempranillo £19 nice but I get the similar for £4.99. Overall, the food is very good and the staff very accommodating and we like the décor but it is very over-priced for pub-grub. Will we be returning - a slim possibility (if they have special offers!!!!)

Have been wanting to visit for a while since the new owners took over after many recommendations from friends. Finally got to visit and was not disappointed. Took my parents for lunch. The food was amazing, service impeccable and the renovations of the building are fantastic. Looking forward to revisiting soon.

I just can’t see how their prices are sustainable. Charging over £4 for a flat white with oat milk is outrageous, so I won’t be returning.

Clean the gents, guys. Cobwebs in every corner, that might have been there since last Hallo'ween.
