The Roebuck in Stoke-on-Trent

The bar manager was selling drugs behind the bar and made it quite obvious her daughters 1 that must of only been about 13 was serving people behind the bar and also meeting people in the toilet with little packages. It was an absolute disgrace I would never go here again

Stopped here for lunch and saw the signs promoting food so paid to park then entered to get some food. After being told by two staff to wait as busy I asked about food and was told that they weren’t doing food! Maybe a little sign saying that would have been better than saying food opening hours

Our abiding memory of The Roebuck is the five pound disposable vibraters in a vending machine in the ladies toilets

On an evening out with friends we went into this pub for drinks and were met by a very pleasant lady at the bar , some of my friends had been drinking from early on and were worse for wear but two of us had just arrived and were driving so ordered diet cokes in the round being bought , we went to the toilet and on our return the kind lady behind the bar advised us that our drinks had been spiked with vodka. This I am sure had only been meant as a practical joke but could have resulted in both of us losing our licences so I must thank the lady behind the bar for her professionalism and ensuring that we remained safe to drive .... Thank You ! .... I would recommend this pub to anyone wanting to enjoy a good time in the area whilst keeping safe.
