Friendly team. Food very good at the price point (very cheap). Service was good, four ate for £60 for 3 courses.

This pub has always been my/families local. I pass many pubs to come to this one. We often have family gathering here or pop down when there are events on. Staff are great and welcoming. Food is always good and there is something for everyone. Most importantly, it’s always welcoming which is why we will always come back! Thanks as always to Emma and the team!

Good pub with different type of food. Kids menu very convenient. I’ve had the tacos so yes sometimes different. The carpark is very very small.

As guitars strum and drums set hearts alight, Declan's presence turns the pub to a delight. In this harmonious blend of work and play, He's the melody that makes the night sway.

Food was excellent - although chef couldn't cook me scrambled egg. Service OK but when a colleague spilt a whole drink over table,floor and clothing I had to ask for some tissues to clean up everywhere. Even the floor as it was sticky and had ice cubes on it. Apart from that everything was delicious and dessert and especially the custard was v v v tasty.

Great value for money! Great Sunday lunch; lovely fresh veg, very tasty, good portion size. Puddings were devine! Will be back for more!

Bit too far to nominate it as my local, considering I moved in to a new flat just day before. But it's a Greene King and it offers the CAMRA discount. That's a neat beginning. 🤗

Really enjoyed the lasagne. Hot and tasty. Option of salad rather than garlic bread. Large selection of reasonably priced meals. Husband said male toilet facilities did however let the venue down. Need a total refurbishment. Hence reduction on rating. I didn't bother going (oops too much information).

This was the perfect evening! We had some delicious food with brilliant service from all the staff. Finished off the night with the new Christmas drinks which were fab. 100% recommend!!!

Ordered 3meals and drinks. One dish came out looking very dried up. Sent back for fresh dish when came back minus garlic bread was told didn't have any. Offered drink. Instead had dessert which was very nice. Bar staff were very good and helpful.

A nice place on the High Street which always has a vibe and have some great evening events too. Definitely worth going to if you fancy a fun evening.

Very nice and friendly pub, we come midday on weekends with the children, relaxed atmosphere, our drinks were served by Vedha, he is always with a smile and a good word ready. Great place!

Excellent service on Sunday from Declan, Emma, and Chloe. The atmosphere was phenomenal for the football, and the roast dinner was fairly priced for the quality that it was. Will certainly be coming back again

Proud to call this place the local. The choices on tap just can't be beaten - pints so cheap they are practically giving it away!! Staff always smiley and welcoming - in the 64 pints I have purchased to date not a single one has been upsetting. Vedha is a g.

Had an excellent experience at the rock, it’s one of my favourite pubs in Cambridge! The atmosphere is electric and the staff are super, especially Vedha (wish he was my father) he was great behind the bar and when my friend fell over and dropped a tray of pints he bought us all a new round on his own card. You must come down to the rock whenever you get the chance!

I popped into the rock today with a few friends and i was served by Dec always so lovely, friendly and has great customer service will always be coming back.

Absolutely amazing pub, I’m here every weekend. The atmosphere is amazing along with the tap selection, oh my lord it’s unreal. Brilliant to see they have Sky Sports for when the premier league is on, 4K UHD, unreal. Staff are brilliant too, shout-out to Vedha (with the bandana) he is absolutely lovely. If you have the chance visit, I’m a local so come see if you are here. Long live The Rock

If I could leave a review without giving it a star I would but I can’t so very generously it’s got 1! The menu should just read cheeseburger or chicken bacon and avocado ciabatta as that was all that was available and they were both appalling ( thurs 29th July lunchtime). was meant to be a celebratory lunch for a little girl who had just rung the bell at Addenbrooks ….do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Don't go, Staff are really rude and miserable. They look down on you if you don't fit in, It's happened to me too many times and I feel the need to say it. Manager was terrible and looked like they didn't want to be there. The food was cold and took a long time to arrive. My friends burger was cold, It wasn't worth the money. The smoking area the wooden seats are really uncomfortable and hurt my backside. Wont be visiting again.

Will never visit here again. The food was awful, and we had to wait ages for it. It's probably all frozen and heated up. The desert was a joke. The latte was very white! And the prices are high for the poor quality of food and service. Felt sick when i got home. These people are not chefs they do not know restaurant etiquette either. When my food was placed in front of me, as i was seated to the L and my friend to the R, the cook/server then leaned over me to give my friend their plate and subsequently brushed his arm over the rim of my glass drink! So I didn't want my drink anymore. Since when is etiquette serving done across someone else and across someone else's food?! Really?These people need proper training on how to serve food! The table when we arrived was sticky, and most of the forks I picked up were dirty, dry stained food on. Actually, our visit was quite disgusting. I couldn't be bothered to say anything because it wasn't worth it. It's just how they are used to doing things there, so it won't change. But anyway, I won't be going again or recommending it. I'd give 0 stars if I could. 👎.

Great service on Friday night from Chloe and the rest of the team. Food was beyond my expectations. The 3 for £5 on Tequila was very convincing… next time Vedha! Will definitely be coming back with friends soon!

Terrible. Pub was dirty, dust everywhere. Toilets where overflowing with urine and had loo roll soaked in excrement layered all over the floor. The staff seemed to have an issue in accepting my 20% discount card saying that it would reduce their operating profit and that the promotion will end any day now. Manager and staff where always gambling on the fruit machines. Don't think I'll be going back any day soon.

Bonus, it has its own small car park at the back. Menu has a few choices, not extensive, but something for most people. I tried two mains as didnt fancy any of the starters on offer. The Fish and chips, mushy (or garden) peas, tartar sauce; also mac n cheese with side salad and garlic bread. Both arrived hot. Chips watch out for the inevitable black bits, but on whole good quality and very tasty. Salad was drowned in the dressing, maybe some dressing on side gives customer choice of how much they want at the time? Environment very clean, staff member very attentive to everyones needs. Choose your table use menus at table, when ready place order at bar, giving table number. Semi quiet at the time of my visit (14.00hrs). Yes would definately recommend for sure !! Xxxx

We had Christmas Dinner there this Christmas just gone £55 a head and to be honest I wouldn’t have paid £5 for it. The food looked like it had been warmed up not from that day but the day before that. The only reason I didn’t complain there and then was because I didn’t want to make a scene on Xmas day. It was an insult and I would not even return to that pub for a beer

Had a festive meal here on Christmas Eve. Food was delicious and staff were friendly. A good time was had by all!

I'm in hospital at the moment for cancer and I needed a break. By chance I ended up at the Rock and they were lovely and helpful to an outsider who needed directions and a friendly smile.

Really nice pub, with amazing and friendly staff. Very spacious, with enough TVs to watch football matches. Definately will keep coming here to have my Sunday roast.
