Ate here a few times was OK but today had roast beef dinner , very disappointed meat was nothing but pure fat wasn't even offered any discount they even took 5p that's was the odds that was on the bill , I have to say the young man who served us was lovely , but won't b back

Ate here 2day order the Sunday roast which was awful to say the least grandchild who's 4 years old ordered chicken goujons was full of spice he couldn't eat them plates went back full we weren't even asked was everything OK and had the cheek to ask if we wanted dessert we did complain but it went unnoticed came home starving

Went in today 19th of Sept and was greeted my a young man. I think his name was Reece. Very professional for his age and he will go places. Very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him. While dealing with other tables, including advising tourists, he kept everyone happy.

Lovely food, staff and atmosphere. For a town so bereft of good places to eat, the sandpiper is an oasis.

Definitely room for improvement. My first time here, was optimistic about it being under new ownership but found it disappointing. The food was the real let down. I had fishcakes which I struggled to see or taste any fish, poached eggs on top only one the 2 eggs were cooked perfectly. Partner had SF chicken burger and although it looked nice on the plate he said it was very bland tasting, could have done with some sort of sauce as standard. Kids pizza had so much cheese on it that once it cooled to a temperature she could eat it, it was like a slab of rubbery grease so unfortunately we had one child leave hungry. Forgot to bring sauces that were requested with the kids meal, forgot 1 side but we never ended up asking for it as we were not looking forward to trying it. Garlic fries were not in the slightest bit garlicky... In the end only 1 of us ate all our meal (2 fishcakes with salad leaves) because I was starving but the others all had to eat again when we got home. For the prices I'd say the food quality needs improvement. The person who took our order was polite and friendly. The staff in general seemed great, shame the same can't be said about the food we were served. I'd be reluctant to return, £48 for 2 adults and 2 kids is on the steeper side of a bill in comparison to other places we have eaten in the North Coast with far better quality food.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Had the prawn cocktail open sandwich. Very small for a main course. One small piece of wheaten bread with one lettuce leaf and small portion of prawn cocktail. Was hoping for double, as it was a maim course!

Popped in just before 4pm on Saturday as was turned away from an almost empty Yoko who said they were full and we are so glad they did. We had a lovely meal. Food was delicious, service was friendly and quick and cost was very competitive with other places. First visit and won’t be our last!

We travelled up to get breakfast but got cause we were walk in we got Turned away , absolutely disgraceful, Not very pleased to be told infrount of everyone else either…..

Went the whole way up for breakfast, waiting quite a while to get our seats only to be told they can't take any walk-ins Not very pleased being told Infront of everyone else either!!!! They could have put a sign outside the restaurant saying no walk-ins....and the evening and lunch menu is so limited...like No Gammon or pork!!!

Thought we'd try this place as it was only opened to be honest I won't be back near it and people would be better going elsewhere. The member of staff who served us had no customer skills or personality. Had to ask my partner what she would like to drink because we were sat and reached a menu and when the staff member came back she only asked what we would like to eat and was about to walk away. Very limited menu and steak is only cooked medium/rare. We asked for garlic fries and the chef must have forgot to put any garlic on them. After we ate we ordered dessert my partners was hot on the outside and freezing cold in the middle must have an out of date microwave and the portion size was very small. I would give this place a minus 10 and never be back. Would have been better going to McDonald's.

After rumours it was closing after Xmas it certainly is up and running .. A new name ,a whole new look ,totally different fresh produce menu and lovely Staff..Not your previous Premier Inn prices or deals they are gone , but a totally different dining experience . The Menu is simple well explained with plenty of choice . Our meals were delicious served promptly steaming hot by lovely staff .. Certainly a chef well worth keeping .Price .no complaints whatsoever . Reasonable considering quality of food.Special thanks to Emily who made our visit so pleasant a great asset to “The Sandpiper” thank you Emily we will certainly return Ballymena ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are staying at Portstewart for a week and had an excellent family evening meal at the Sandpiper restaurant yesterday, before going to see a movie at the Jet Centre next to it. The food was delicious, we had two adult meals and four excellent children's meals. The children were given activity sheets and crayons while we waited on food. The service was first class, polite and cheery. Decor of the restaurant and nice spacing between tables provided a lovely ambience! Would highly recommend!

Wonderful experience today with my family. Friendly, super professional staff and the place looks lovely. All the place needed they got, lick of paint, revamped menu and all FRESH produce to boot. Prices comparable to the rest of the North Coast. For the negative people that love a good moan about nothing should just stick to Fast food restaurants or a gammy sandwich from a pound shop 😜. I'LL BE BACK

Had the nicest meal in the sandpiper, very polite and cheerful staff, nothing was a problem to any of them, great atmosphere all round. The meals were all to a very high standard, portion sizes were very good, just all round a great place for a meal, would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back again.

Awful service. The menu was all over the place had to ask what drinks they served. Had to ask for my water twice. Asked for pints and got half pints. Staff didn’t really know what they were doing or who they were serving. Food took ages to come. Place looks a bit dirty. If they say this is a new place it looks so run down and a lot of work needs done to it. Stuff is glued down and looks bad it doesn’t feel clean to even sit in it. Over 45 minutes waiting food never came asked waitress about food she just said I’ll go see after she sever a few tables after us. Stay away from this so called restaurant

Sunday 4th December 2022 8.45pm Food is absolutely fine…. Exactly what I expected. I have been a few times recently and always seem to order the same thing. Service…. 2 female staff members on duty. They are like chalk and cheese. One is super friendly the other would turn milk sour. Can’t see her name badge but black shirt, black trousers, black rimmed glasses. She’s actually rude and has zero people skills. I’m not sure why she is working in the hospitality industry. She was exactly the same the previous 2 times I’ve been in. First time I put it down to her having a bad day (we all have them). Second time I thought she was having another bad day. Now I just think she has zero customer service skills and should not be in a customer facing role. This would have been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for her but unfortunately she lets the establishment down a bagful.

Fancied a meal out. Took ages to be seated, likewise to get drinks. The server actually put a downer on the experience by her attitude. Food, starter was extremely greasy and the dish looked like it had been thrown on the plate, mains we chose steak and that was a good choice they were succulent and well cooked ( melt in mouth). Drinks were served in smeary glasses and piled with ice ( just dumped on table.). Disappointing visit but we will try again, hopefully better next time.

Overall the room was perfect, very clean with a comfortable bed and we also had a lovely evening meal. We went for breakfast at 9.30am and it could only be described as terrible. We were sat down and told to help ourselves to the continental breakfast and then the waitress would take our order for hot food. We ordered 10mins after arrived and we waited 30 mins for our hot food. When we finally received our breakfast it was freezing, the baked beans were like they were poured from the can and the tomato was like it came from the fridge, the meat was lukewarm at best. This is a shame as the breakfast would have been lovely if it was warm. I complained to the man on reception and he explained to me that the restaurant was short staffed and he would pass on the feedback. Just as a side note for anyone else who might get caught out, reception sells bottles of water for £1 however, they can only take cash so make sure you have some or bring your own water with you or the vending machine in reception will cost you £2.20 for one small bottle of water!

Have visited this restaurant a number of times now whilst staying at the premier inn, and this place has seriously gone down hill. Friday evening without any notice they decide to shut the bar at 10pm stating it was licensing laws. Wasn’t too impressed given our family had come to visit us for a drink. Next day was given multiple different reasons for closure depending on who we spoke to. We came across for breakfast the following morning and placed order. Breakfast arrived with missing items and when raised with the waiter was told they had run out. Why not state this when ordering and also when bringing food to the table? Popped in for a drink on Saturday evening, and guess what - bar was shut at 10pm when we arrived! Completely understand there are always issues outside of control but why not inform residents rather than just shutting without any rhyme or reason. Definitely won’t be returning.

Used to be great for breakfast…this time coffee was bad, had to keep asking for things that ran out from buffet (when we could find a member of staff!), waited for 45 mins from ordering to receive our cooked breakfast. No sausages available! Rude manager. Will not return.

Dined here last Saturday evening the fish my partner ordered was rock hard and was obviously reheated had to send it back replacement had the skin on which in my opinion is not acceptable... My mixed grill was not as menu stated small piece of chicken small piece of gammon and rump steak quite tasteless .. Desert beyond describing definitely would not eat here again......

We dined here an a whim after a long day at the beach with 2 young tired and very hungry children. The manager Heather went over and above to ensure the kids meals came out quicly and provided extra activity sheets to keep the kids entertained so I could enjoy my meal hot. Food was good and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back.

came in today from enniskillen as we took the kids on a day out went in to see if we could get the kids something to eat as we walked in we were meet by a extremely rude staff member once asked if we had booked which we had not she then made a snarky remark telling us we should have known better as it was summer holidays and a weekday then she told us that she could not seat us. the restaurant was empty and i couldn’t get over the way she had talked to us disappointed and extremely angry to be spoken to like that i will not be back and definitely won’t be recommending to anyone !!!!

I rang and booked a table for 1.30pm. We arrived on time. Food took over 45minutes to come out and the child's order was wrong. It was changed no fuss. But we got the feeling that the waitress was not happy.There was a bit of food around the high chair I asked for a dust pan and brush to clean this up. Which was handed to me. I worked in the hospitality trade for years and never ever would i have expected a paying customer to brush the floor. The food was lovely but we will not be back due to poor customer care.

Me and my partner and 2 kids ate here last night. Place was empty. Staff running around crazy, had to wait an hour and 10 mins on a table. We got a drink while waiting, complained about the coke it was see through, tasted like water. Finally got seated(there was loads of tables free) waitress tells us there's no chicken, no lasagne, no sausages, no goujons, no fish. The only thing on the menu was burgers and chips. The chips tasted like fish. Ended up vomiting that night. Worst place iv been too.

We waited more than 45 mins on food. Peas dried up, chicken burger rock hard, soggy batter on fish, chips were cold. When we complained and asked to speak to the manager, she came over, was a young girl who was loud and rude and contradictory, almost accusing us of lying about the quality of the food. As we were rather hungry we attempted to eat some of the offerings of which was little. Would not recommend eating here. Very poor service.

We went into the restaurant from the hotel reception side when we were shouted at by a waitress ( Erin) that you need to wait to be seated when I said sorry I didn't no that she said can you not see the sign says wait to be seated I said no as I came in the hotel side and there's no sign that side the sign was at the other door she just looked at us and walked away if that's how she treats customers I advise she looks for another job before she scares everyone away never met anyone as rude in all my life w

We arrived 5 minutes early and where seated straight away. Our drink order was taken which arrived in a few minutes. 3 of us had the Mothers Day Dinner which was enjoyed by all. I had the Gammon Steak with fried eggs. All the food was hot, hot, hot and tasty. We eat here all the time and it never lets us down.

Just went out for a wee quiet lunch, had a lovely wee meal in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff, enjoyed it a lot.

Very good service. Restaurant was warm and welcoming and tables well spaced out. Ordered bottle wine which came very prompt and Food was out very shortly afterwards, was lovely and warm and tasty.

Love coming here as it is within walking distance to my house for a drink on a Friday evening after work. Alcohol is very well priced in comparison to other bars in the area, staff always friendly and welcoming. Have had a meal on a few occasions and the food is very well priced especially the 2 meals for 8.99 bargain and saves cooking and washing the dishes.

I normally avoid chain restaurants unless it can be helped, having worked at several in my younger years, I know the service and food can be hit or miss. On this occasion though we needed somewhere to eat late mid-week so I took a gamble and was pleasantly surprised.COVID protocols well thought out and followed.Service from Brett was quick, efficient and friendly and the food was cooked perfectly.

We went to Table Table and I knew they had an allergy chart as their parent company Brewers Fayre do. My 5 year old daughter has a severe egg allergy and we are always weary of eating out. Our server Erin was amazing-she told the kitchen staff to not use any egg products near our daughters food and she also got cutlery that had just been scolded and washed for our daughter to make sure it was safe. I honestly was in shock at how wonderfully helpful Erin was. I wish all restaurants and their staff were as brilliant as she! Table table definitely has a great member of staff in Erin and I hope they recognise the asset she is!

We are returning customers and have visited Table Table in Coleraine many times, by ourselves, with family and with visitors. We visited here again just recently for daughter's 22nd birthday and had a great experience from beginning to end. We had a real relaxing and chilled evening, with delicious food which was high quality, right temperature and cooked to perfection. Our server's frequent, friendly comments on passing our table made us feel welcomed and important. The birthday card and gift from the manager and staff was a really lovely touch, which my daughter really appreciated. It made her feel spoilt and pampered and helped to make her day special. We have been coming to Riverside Table Table for years and we have never had any complaints. Everything is excellent from the food to the friendly staff nothing is ever too much trouble. The whole team are always very welcoming and happy to see you every time you visit. The restaurant has been well set up to accommodate guests during these uncertain times. Well worth a visit! Have visited this restaurant several times since opening up after COVID-19 closing and can say all measures are well in place for customers and staff safety. Customer service Has been shown extremely well on each visit and especially with Emily who looks after the floor service in an excellent manner . From contact details and waiting to be seated and the table service great people skills. The menus offers a range choice suitable for all preferences and ages. Table Table also offers promotions most months ie 2-course meal menu for £10 per person and also menu 2 meals for £8.99. Food presentation is of a decent standard and a relaxing environment and all staff have a friendly approach. I hope to visit again very soon

Called in for lunch with a friend, they have recently changed to a new menu so lots of variety. The nachos and mozzarella bites are a great addition! Service was quick and team were polite and friendly. Definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon. The layout of the restaurant is great too taking into consideration the need for social distancing due to COVID-19.

This is our local, we come here at least once a week. Since reopening we can honestly say we have felt very safe and the food has been gorgeous. We tried the new menu and it really was delicious. See you next week

Had lunch with my husband, we were sat at a table besideThe fire which was really cosy. We had the gammon an the fish. Speedy service annd tasty food, would recommend as the menu has a great selection especially the two for £8.99.

Four of us were thinking of going Saturday early evening September 26th and I thought I would check it was open. I called at the restaurant just a few minutes before noon on that day. The restaurant door was open and I went in and stood for 5 minutes at a sign saying wait here to be seated. I saw no one and presumably no one saw me so I left and went into the hotel reception just next door which was also empty. I stood there for a couple of minutes and no one turned up and I didn't see any bell or buzzer to press for attention. I then went home and over the next 40/45 minutes I telephoned 3 times. Once I pressed to be put through to reception and twice to the restaurant. On all 3 occasions I was on hold for a short period of time before a recorded message said staff were very busy dealing with other calls and I was told to call later and then I was cut off. The doors of the restaurant and hotel are open and I assume that people are staying in the hotel and eating in the restaurant but I could see no evidence of customers or staff.

First time eating out since before March. Have to say I was a bit anxious but didn't need to be. Very impressed on the system and how much space there is between the tables and the service provided

I went for an early breakfast during the Eat Oout to Help Out scheme. The only things not brought to the table were the tea/coffee and the toast. Lovely Ulster Fry.

Good service with friendly staff. Not over crowded. Took advantage of the EOTHO scheme in August 2020. Food was good.Disappointed for 2 reasons. First was that there was only 1 vegetarian option listed on the menu (beyond burger) Only other thing I could've asked for was sausage and chips and they'd switch it to quorn. I can make that at home! Secondly. My beyond burger was the 3rd dearest thing on the menu!!!! I did send Table Table an email with the above points on it, but as yet have had no reply (a week later)Considering it is 2020 and a lot of people have altered their eating habits for one reason or another, I think Table Table would do well to take that on board and accommodate them. And also rethink their prices.

Took my two grandkids for my granddaughter's 13th birthday, we all had a lovely meal, starters, mains & desserts were all really tasty and we'll presented, my granddaughter asked wat star rating it was & I said I didn't know, she said it should be 5 star, we had a lovely time. The staff were all really helpful & friendly too, will definitely be back again soon.

Great food and fantastic service. I had the chicken escalope with French fries and it was delicious. Good size portion so unfortunately had no room for desert. The staff were very attentive and I would definitely recommend it here.

We called in on Saturday for a meal they where very busy but got us a table very quickly. I had the haddock and chips my wife had the luxury cottage pie. Both meals where lovely and the service was very quick and efficient. Not badly priced and portions where a good size.

This time we called in for coffee and puddings :) its so cosy and the staff were just getting ready for xmas so everyone was in great form as always. I'm always wary of ordering fish and chips so I was delighted to be served beautifully cooked and piping hot fish. My husband also enjoyed his chicken pie. My only issue was fish and chips always comes with peas. Some of us don't like peas so it would be good to be able to substitute something like a small salad instead. I did ask for peas to be left off and they were still put on my plate - so my husband ate them. Would call in again for a lunchtime.

Me an my partner went in for dinner first time here an wont be returning. After we placed our order we wait 40 mins before the food arrived. My partner ordered a steak an asked for it to be cooked rare to medium, the food arrived 40 minutes later an the steak was over cooked an chips were cold. It took the staff 15 minutes to see that there was something wrong before they came to our table. The girl came to the table an asked if there was something wrong,we explained an there wasnt even an apology. Had to go to McDonalds after we left. Would not recommend.

Witth limited choice near to Oremer Inn using this restaurant was a no brainer, servers helpful but not intrusive, good standard of fayre. (Rib eye steak was off all week.)

Been a while since we last visited here. As always staff are so friendly and our food was lovely. I had fish and chips and would have it again. It's great value when taking the kids too. Will keep returning :)

We arrived and greeted within minutes and escorted to a table. Asked for our drinks order. Waiter then took meal order. It was brought within 5 minutes. Meals were nicely presented and were good value. Attentive waitress checked that all was in order. Good value meals. Well done table table.

Spent 4 nights at the Premiere Inn and had breakfast and evening meal here each day. Staff were lovely and friendly and the surroundings and decor very nice. Breakfasts were excellent and the evening meal deal was fantastic. Only one criticism and that is that at breakfast on more than one occasion we found cutlery and food on the floor from the previous night. I mentioned it to the duty manager and she said the restaurant wasnt cleaned until after breakfast which is fine but nevertheless I would have expected things on the floor to be picked up. I am sure that a £5 note or a handbag would have been.

Haven’t been here for a few months, sadly it has went down hill quite a bit. Ordered nachos for a starter, took 40 minutes and more than half the tables were empty. Waitress didn’t take our drinks order so had to go looking for one. When we finished our starter it took another 20 mins to take away the plate. Another lengthy period passed before our main course came. Food wasn’t too bad although the price exceeded the quality. I glimpsed at the table beside us and noticed that their food was on the over cooked side like ours. I thought perhaps the kitchen was understaffed like the restaurant but when we were leaving I noticed 2 chefs in white and one in black/white. We were in the restaurant 1 hr and 40 minutes for a middle of the road meal and a high price. There is much better food served in other local restaurants at reasonable prices.
