I love the food from here. The staff are friendly and the Sunday dinners are outstanding. Great value for money.

Worst takeaway Sunday roast ever, do your research first before ordering and go elsewhere. Used to be fine but just cheap now

Venue smart , toilets clean and contemporary great entertainment two singers great for dancing to on a Friday night . basket meal was chunky chips and breaded chicken steaks quite nice and all for only £12 a head great value plenty of parking on the evening drinks very reasonable prosecco cost £15 a bottle will return

Gone totally down hill, we used to visit on a regular basis but on our last visit it was a complete let down, the cutlery still had the last persons dinner on it, the glasses that hang from the bar were absolutely filthy and the food was dried out, the owners have took their eye off the ball which has lost them customers.

Dinner was cold roasties were like scraps ordered extra gravy but never got it and I played for it

Went for a Xmas party the tables were that crammed together people couldn't move Spoilt the while night and the main event was on for an hour ... Never again The door lad the waitresses were all.lovely and completely run off there feet carvery was.lovely but the starter and dessert was a complete let down

Wonderful food and great service.

Ordered two sunday lunches and my partners throwing up and the turky had big raw jelly bits . 100% uncooked . Never again we both are unwell

Our daughter had her wedding reception there yesterday and we where very impressed; Clean well maintained toilets,with added touches( hairspray, wipes, tissues etc) Friendly helpful and cheerful staff and an overall fresh open atmosphere. Having a lift to the reception room was brilliant too as we had elderly and disabled guests.

Amazing food and amazing friendly service.

Poor service in the cafe being going there for years the last couple of times we had our food and still waiting for our tea. This week we waited 36 minutes for a toastie. Won't be going there again

The best Sunday lunch in Teesside. Tastes just like grandma had cooked it! 3 courses for only £8.95. Starters and dessert aren’t too big which allows you to enjoy the full dinner without being too over stuffed. Soup or egg mayo for starter, range of 3 meats for the carvery and large selection of desserts. Always great great service from the staff. Had a recent refurb which includes a lift in to the restaurant upstairs. We always compare any Sunday lunch to here and the regency suite just can be beaten on taste or price. Not on commission just honestly can’t be beaten. There is no card facility at the moment just after the refurb but a cash machine over the road.

Very good food with clean and attractive decor. But ... most of all, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, both upstairs and down.

Attended evening wedding reception. On an evening parking available outside. Nice decor and friendly staff. Bar prices very reasonable. Had finger buffet which was very nice.

Sunday lunches well worth the money just been modernised to a high standard including fitting of a lift. Which says to me customers matter

One of the best work xmas party's I've been to. 3 course meal main course was a carvery all fresh 4 choices of meat all veg fresh and the tastiest gravy all piping hot. Sweets and mince pies were brought around after. The room was very smart and spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and efficient. There entertainment was George he sang lots of motown and soul which had us all up dancing all night. Great atmosphere. Found out they have tribute acts every month. Will definitely return.

Great value for money. Fast reliable delivery. Food tastes superb, I would highly recommend it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I went here on 1st October with my daughter and husband, it's recently been refurbished and the interior is much better. This place used to have a great reputation for its Sunday roasts so unable to get in out usual pkace, we thought we would give it a try. Big mistake, you need cash firstly, no card machines, we then went to get our lunch, lady serving the meat was miserable. Now for the food, the meat was slimed and fatty, you then have your veg, cabbage, raw and large chunks, swede, half mashed and half big chunks, carrots and mushy peas. I don't have mash but my husband and daughter do, full of lumps, so glad I don't. Gravy was like water and Yorkshire pudding was soggy inside. We sat down and attempted to eat it but unfortunately it was awful, the place was quiet, only a few diners, not one of the waitresses asked us if everything was fine, on hindsight I do wish we had complained at the time. We left all our dinners, were only there for literally 10 minutes. I wouldn't have fed that dinner to my dog.

Me and my parents normally go to Tocketts Mill for sunday lunch but couldn't get in so my dad rang and reserved a table at The Regency Suite to have it here instead. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and it looks so much better than it did before but that is probably the only nice thing I can say about this place. First you need to remember to take cash as they dont take cards! I mean seriously in these modern timew who doesn't have card machines?We paid £30 for 3 carverys, 2 cokes and 1/2 pint of Carling. When we went to the carvery the woman just said where's your card, no nice welcome. I asked for Pork then quickly regretted my decision as I watched her carve a fatty, slimy piece acter piece. I was then given a Yorkshire pudding. Onto the next station where there was a choice of mash, some disgusting looking suede, mushy peas, carrots and cabbage. Next choice was roast potatoes, stuffing and then rather strangely a bowl of salad finishes off with the gravy pot.Sounds nice? Think again, the mash was so lumpy ot was worse than school dinners. my dad actually found a whole potato slice in his. The gravy was see through, the meat indedible it was just pure fat, the cabbage too big and rock hard and the roast potatoes were deep fried and tasted like chips. We all left it as couldn't stomach to eat it.Do not consider going here if you like edible food or value your taste buds. This place has gone down the hill. Should have known by how empty the place was when we walked in at 12.

Visited the cafe for something to eat got our breakfasts as we where eating i watched the member of staff with blue gloves walk out to back door have a smoke whilst wearing them then walk back in not change her gloves coughed on her hand before serving a customer.

Been coming to this cafe for years; not much has changed though; it's still cosy and still awesome staff with banter; do suggest popping in for a cuppa

Nos llevaron a la mesa camarera deprimente. Extraño que le dio a pagar enseguida. Comida estaba bien. Lo que realmente decepciona en este lugar es la decoración. Parece muy monótona y tiene música de igualar ... me sentí como si estuviera en Una cápsula del tiempo! Volver a entrar en el siglo XXItodo el tiempo que estuvimos allí no pudimos la sonrisa demanera personal puede encontrar mejores lugares para cenar, así que el domingo no regresaré

Nos llamó a las 12 o'clock ya que es cuando empezó la entrega y me dijeron que sería aquí entre 1-2 h y llegamos a las 1:30. Un conductor de entrega y mi cena era cálido y agradable. Habitaciones agradables, grandes porciones y las verduras era encantador. Partner ordenaron su sin verduras y su parte también era grande sin embargo que era un poco molestos que él no relleno. Salsa no era para mi gusto, pero la pareja disfrutó, que habría preferido que más con mucha carne y los Yorkshire pudines donde un poco quemado. En general, una buena cena pero con unas pocas mejoras podría ser increíble.

Very nice plenty to eat nice service clean and tidy resalable prices and good parking facilities I will definitely call again

Walked into a Carvery which we both found tasty & ample, would recomend pple to try it! Im sure they would enjoy at a reasonable price.
