The Red Lion in South Derbyshire

Very friendly pub. Great atmosphere. Went with friends and met some more friends there for my birthday. The landlords are gay but very friendly and make you welcome. Would recommend to anyone to go there for a drink.

Lovely landlord and landlady, good beer (and gin). Had the Sunday roast and got plenty oh homemade "mums Sunday dinner" all for a very reasonable price. A good atmosphere with nice locals and good outside seating area too Would have stayed for a few more drinks but had a wedding to get to

We were looking for somewhere to eat in unknown territory in wildest Lincolnshire and were eventually directed to the Red Lion. Although had not booked in advance we were welcomed by the staff and a table was made available for the 4 of us. Service was quick and the food was excellent and reasonably priced - if in the area again we would not hesitate to return to the Red Lion.
