Best pint I've had in a long time

Got a warm welcome visiting from Vancouver, Canada. Typical English estate pub with very friendly locals. Lee, the owner / manager is a top notch friendly bloke. Sarah and the other bar staff are friendly with good attitude. The pints are cold and very reasonably priced. Drank a few John Smiths with pork scratchings. There is a pool table and a jukebox that was playing nice 70s tunes like Smokey. Very friendly people. I got gifted the pub shield which is in the pic attached. Keep at it, you wonderful Geordie lads and lasses -- great pub!

As far as an estate bar goes, it does alright. Prices are reasonable, fair selection of bottles and draughts and always made welcome when you walk in.

Great family friendly pub... Live sport always shown with a great atmosphere. Bingo on Wednesday nights with free buffet, as well as Sunday afternoon and night. Brilliant Sunday afternoon drinking spot with free pool and usually good songs on the jukebox to go with it
