Never had a bad meal from here it's always been consistently good

Food arrived on time, piping hot and it was amazing. Decent portion size and the flavours were amazing. Always skeptical about ordering from a new restaurant but will definitely be returning here.

The portions were value for money. We did the 10 course and had a whole meal for the following night divided by two-3 people. Very satisfied

Food was spot on, everything was nice and fresh, curries pipping hot good mates with the lads in the front good people good food would defo recommend.

Ordered a meal for my family and when I opened the chicken tikka main course it was stone cold. Immediately rang the restaurant and was offered a replacement. As everyone else had finished by this point I declined. The man I spoke to said next time I ordered mention this and we would be given a chicken tikka free of charge for the inconvenience. Rang two weeks later as we don’t have takeaways weekly to be told they don’t do this and know nothing about it. I asked them to check with the person who was serving on this particular day and was told no. I’m disgusted by this service I will not be going there again. Seriously offended to be called a liar as a regular customer. If you don’t want cold inedible food and bad customer service avoid this place.

This was our first order with Spice Ocean and I have got to say it's the best curry we have had in a very long time. This will be our takeaway place from now on. Beautiful and fresh, tasted amazing, plenty of chicken and fab crunchy poppadums', fast delivery and hot on arrival.

First time trying Spice Ocean - and it won’t be my last. I’ve tried every Indian takeaway on Ocean Road and have been going to Dilshad for years but this definitely beats it. We ordered chicken tikka, nut rice, Peshawar nan, spicy chips (which are actually spicy) popadoms and onion balji - all were beautiful! Thank you team Spice Ocean. Keep up the good work

Really bad i ordered a chicken buhna single meal with rice and chips got ABSOLUTELY NO CURRY WITH IT and very few pieces of chicken. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

Ordered tonight haven't ordered since last year and wont be back used to be a really nice takeaway but has gone down hill chips were bland and hard curry was bland and most of it went in the bin a waste of money

Ordered on Sunday 27th Jan for the first times and said I think I've found my new regular Indian takeaway. Due to the wife enjoying the curry that would normally be too spicey for her we have ordered again (tuesday) and stand by my original statement. Full of flavour and great service. Not even finished this one and looking forward to the next one! It Sunday 3rd Feb, can add a new review so editing this one. Just like my last two visits it has been perfect. Definetly no need to look anywhere else! Thanks again guys!

The best Indian Take away I've tried, delish!

Collected about half an hour ago and food now all in the bin. Ordered a chicken biryani (you get a vegetable curry sauce separate), a naan and a pompadom (that I never got)! The chicken biryani was as dry as sticks...I know it's a dry dish but this was something else. The chicken had been well overcooked. Not much flavour in the rice at all.. and the vegetable curry was so strange...never had one quite like it and I'm bloody glad haha. Naan bread was dry.... And no pompadom (favourite part of a curry) Shame because i literally live around the corner and would be useful to have a good close Indians.. Wouldn't return and wouldn't reccomend
