The Real Greek - Bracknell in Bracknell Forest

I ordered the pork souvlaki wrap and the meatball souvlaki wrap, and I give it a 3.9. The main issue being that the wraps were dry and could have done with more taziki. Meatballs were juicy, and pork was good but not the best I’ve had. Bread was good and chips were good. Wouldn’t be my first choice of Greek restaurant.

Great food and great service, our waitress Poppy took really good care of us and made our birthday celebrations special with a surprise slice of cake after our meal.

It's great to see the menu has improved over the last three years! The addition of dishes like Shrimp Saganaki is a welcome change – the waiters weren't even familiar with it back then. The Greek Sangria could be a bit stronger, but overall a good experience.

Lovely, clean and friendly restaurant with delicious food. Carina was the waitress looking after us when we visited who was particularly fabulous and attentive and really made our visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience when visiting this branch, especially as this was my in laws first time going to a Real Greek.

Came for my birthday lunch today & was so impressed with everything. All 8 of us enjoyed our meals, the service was so friendly & such a nice atmosphere!

The restaurant is nice and elegant. Wasn't busy. But service was slow. 6 tables one waitress. She was nice enough. Me and my husband had the mezze as starter plus prawns and chicken skewers as a main. My daughter a kids option meal and my son a skewers that didn't come with chips?! £8.50 +£4 for chips extra. The prawns dish was absolutely terrible. Only tasted tomato sauce. I did informed that wasn't good to the waiters and she said sorry for this but good luck next time. Skewers didn't come with chips, but for the price? I wasn't very happy. At the end I was embarrassed to say that I didn't want o paid extra for the service as was already included on the bill. I was changed for the prawns dish but I didn't eat. It taste like tomato soup and I absolutely don't like tomato soup. I could not taste the prawns only a nasty tomato flavour. I am sorry but I don't recommend the place and I believe I have should be offered something else instead or not be charged for it. That wasn't the case. The starter mezze was really nice. Menu has changed from last year. I am really not impressed or understand why? Was much easier to order. Now is like 2 courses meal?

Really amazing, wonderful food I had the lamb meatballs souvlaki wrap which was really good and a sprite. Prices aren’t too bad as well! Me and my sister ate for under £30. We also had the most wonderful waitress her name was Poppy and she is so lovely and friendly so shoutout to Poppy for being amazing!

A Wonderful Experience at The Real Greek! We had a fantastic dining experience at The Real Greek, made even more special by our incredible waitress, Poppy. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Her friendly attitude and natural charm put us at ease straight away. Poppy was always nearby when we needed anything, but never intrusive – just the right balance of attentiveness. Her positive energy added so much to the atmosphere, and you could tell she truly cared about giving us a great experience. The food was delicious, but it was Poppy’s exceptional service that made our visit truly memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back – and we’ll be asking for Poppy!

Food was fantastic. Truly delicious. Aubergine has a soft texture and a lovely roasted flavor- it is deep and mellow and the tangy tomato compliments it nicely. It was served hot and steaming! The chicken () had a great texture, not fatty at all. There was a hint if spice from the chilli powder which added a nice kick. I like how the onions and tomato were cut up small as it make it easier for eating. Tzatziki was delicious. Chicken souvlaki was also great. The chicken here had a different flavor and texture from the one above which I truly appreciate for the variety in the restaurant's menu and dishes. Flatbread was soft and fluffy and warm. Fries were alright. Nice seating, great lighting from the tall windows. There is also olive oil at the table. Staff were fine- nothing extraordinary in either direction. Service took a couple minutes but wasn't too long. Music is of a good volume and a fitting vibe- not jarring at all. All dishes were incredibly affordable (for England) too which surprised me. I would highly recommend the aubergine. Definitely coming back.

Had luch today at The Real Greek in Bracknell. I must say that the attention to detail is outstanding for the food, service and atmosphere. For me it was stepping trough a portal that took me back to Athens and reminded me about the time I spent there. They follow tradition and even provide you with a bottle of still water which you would normally receive in all restaurants in Greece but this is the first Greek restaurant outside Greece that I've seen doing it, and believe me I visited quite a few across UK. The food is amazing, done with care and following the Greek stile to the letter, it tastes the same as in Greece. I would also wish to mention the service, we have been attended by Poppy and she did it flawlessly. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant she was polite, comunicative, pleasant and she really made us feel welcomed. Thank you for the wonderful experience, I'll definitely be back to The Real Greek in Bracknell!!!!

The whole RG team was welcoming from start of to finish. We arrived with our 1 year old and the staff accommodated us in the corner with a nice big round table and high chair. Gabriel was our server and gave our little one crayons and colouring sheet. Was very attentive, polite friendly and had banter with us. The food was delicious- we couldn’t fault it. Our daughter also loved trying the Greek flatbreads and hummus. We’ve been to the Real Greek twice before, first time when it opened in Bracknell and we loved it, second time in Bournemouth and third time today back in Bracknell and each visit has been so pleasant and enjoyable. It is by far in our opinion the nicest place to have a delicious bite and relax.

Nice welcome on arrival and couldn't fault the service throughout the meal however, the food was not up to scratch. The cold Meze was delicious very well prepared and for £18.00 between the two of us was worth every penny. However the Hot Meze did not live up to its name quite frankly it was all Luke warm. It was like it was prepared well before and was sitting there waiting for us to finish the cold Meze. The meatballs were bland as were the prawns which were cold in a warmish sauce. The chips were just warm. All in all a disappointment.

In town and wanted a spot of lunch, so tried The Real Greek for the time. We didn’t want a large lunch, so opted for a couple of Chicken Souvlakis, with some fries, a glass of rose and a lager. The food came quickly and was very tasty. We were served by Poppy who was very polite and attentive. The restaurant was quiet when we first arrived, but was getting busy by the time we’d finish. Good food and good service, so I’d recommend The Real Greek.

Having suffered with COVID over the past couple of days, today was the first day that I had something of an appetite returning but had no food in. I placed an order for meatballs and rice and a chicken souvlaki at lunchtime. The food arrived promptly and was still warm. The souvlaki had generous pieces of seasoned chicken, the flatbread was thick and soft and the tsatziki and onion complimented it well. I will have the meatballs for dinner tonight but even based on just the souvlaki, it really was a nice dish. Strangely, we have eaten in at the Windsor branch before, yet this tasted better - even though it had to be delivered to me, which normally affects the quality of the food.

Good food, good service, what more do you need? Recommended. Can deal with allergies. We had a great Waitrose Luda.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, I had been to other Greek restaurants many years ago and really enjoyed it. Although we enjoyed our visit this time I feel it lacked the atmosphere of the traditional Greek restaurants including the music. Our waitress Poppy was very polite and friendly and the service was very good. We enjoyed the food, but my main dish wasn’t very hot.

I visited with my husband and grown up children last month. It was a double celebration of a birthday and a promotion at work. We all had the set meal, dips/ flatbread, main and sides. Our meal and service were lovely. The staff very kindly brought us 2 chocolate desserts as celebrations. Lovely food and great staff. I’d like to mention Monta, Rohan and Sujan especially. We will return.

Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids for an impromptu lunch today and we all really enjoyed our food. Lovsly attentive staff and service. We also got both kids meals free as we’d spent over £15 per adult. Would recommend. LOVE the Taramasalata.

When here this evening and was rather disappointed, the food was average and we both had a wrap which was quite small for a main. We waited 20 minutes before anyone cleaned our plates on quite a quiet looking Saturday night. As the portions were rather small we were going order deserts or more food, but the server came straight over with the bill without being asked and that point we decided it wasn’t worth it and decided to leave. Unfortunately a rather disappointing experience, won’t be in a hurry to come back.
