The Real Greek - Bracknell in Bracknell Forest

After initially expressing disappointment with my dining experience at The Real Greek Bracknell on February 17th, I am delighted to report a complete turnaround in my sentiments! Todays return visit has completely won me over again. The new lunchtime menu, albeit lacking fish & chips, presents a delightful array of tempting dishes that truly impress. Each portion is generously sized, offering a culinary journey of aromatic and flavourful delights. What is even more remarkable is the exceptional value provided at just £10 for such a high standard of cuisine. However, what truly sets this experience apart is the effervescent, friendly and efficient professionalism of the staff, particularly Carine, Luda and Inna. Their dedication to customer satisfaction deserves recognition and I sincerely hope the senior management at The Real Greek acknowledges their invaluable contribution. With this newfound appreciation for the establishment, I eagerly anticipate become a frequent patron at The Real Greek Bracknell once again. Congratulations to the team for their outstanding service and culinary excellence!

The Real Greek, Bracknell is casual dining at its best. Inside the restaurant is light and airy with a lively atmosphere. There are tables outside for finer weather. The service is good and the food is amazing.

First time at this venue here. Pre booked as a Saturday night. Was very busy so would book on busy evenings. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food was lovely although they brought the started out but 5 mins later our food arrived so that was annoying as we had not even finished our starter and was running out of space on the table. Otherwise food was good and desserts were a must.

Impromptu dinner out and have enjoyed Real Greek elsewhere so tried here. Lovely welcome from Carina seating us and going through the menu. All orders dealt with quickly and food arrived in good time. All very tasty particularly the taramasalata and flatbreads. Carina looked after us really well so we will be back.

Crowded and cramped, slow service, small portions unlike any Greek food I've eaten in Greece...not impressed. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Went for my girlfriend’s birthday as they do an excellent leap-year birthday deal. First time visiting but will definitely be back. Service was outstanding and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and came out hot and a plentiful serving size.

I have had lunch at The Real Greek Bracknell on over 25 occasions. I have been partial to the excellent fish and chips served on a Friday on many occasions. I hadn't been since before Christmas, but on Friday 16th February went with a friend. The waiting staff Inna, Karin and Luda displayed their customary friendliness, efficiency and professionalism. We ordered fish and chips ( which disappointingly was no longer a feature of the lunchtime menu). The fish was served on small plates ( who serves fish and chips on small plates?) with the chips in a bowl. The plates were too small to accommodate the fish and the chips. The portion was small and about 75% smaller than the portions I have been used to hitherto. The fish was slightly undercooked, and although advertised as Cod, I wasn't convinced that that was so. The fish certainly was not fresh fish. And, because it was not part of the lunchtime menu, overpriced. Todays visit to The Real Greek was disappointing with the food and presentation of such, sadly lacking. The visit was only uplifted by the friendliness of the waitress Inna. I do hope senior management take note. Here is a a past regular customer who will not be returning for a while.

Disgusting food. Don’t waste your money. Got the halloumi souvlaki. Flatbread was soggy, chips were undercooked and overall it was bland and slightly sour.. just disgusting. Wasted my money and had to throw most of it out. Joke of a ‘restaurant’ and their prices are a rip off. You can get much better Greek food elsewhere or eat literally anything else that won’t make you sick

We went to this Real Greek for a family birthday meal and really enjoyed ourselves. Luda our waitress, took really good care of us, clearly explained the menu & made sure we had drinks and food on time. The food was delicious and really good value for money (we went for a Saturday set menu). The restaurant was nicely decorated and not too loud so we could have a conversation. we decided on the real greek for our treat, because we had eaten at this group of restaurants before and really enjoyed our experiences. The service has always been good and the waiting staff very personable. A good all round lunch-time. There is a choice of menu at lunch-time, main or lunch-time menu.

My kids and I were well looked after by Luda this evening. We enjoyed a super meal and excellent service. Thank you!

Its a very nicely designed restaurant with a lot of Greek atmosphere. A pity they are playing radio music. They could play some modern Greek pop to make the experience "Real" The service is average. Nothing to talk about. Food is OK. I would call it more Balkan Meditteranean tastes rather than Real Greek. It would be your classic tourist trap rather than authentic Grek experience. Overall 3 stars

Visited Christmas Eve late afternoon, it is lovely restaurant and staff were friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and the offer of kids eat free with adult spend on mains was great and our son enjoyed the food! Lovely restaurant and would recommend!

New Year's Day lunch. Lamb skewer with rice, chicken wrap. Food 5 out of 10. Lamb went back as over cooked and very tough. Service 4 out of 10. Waiting staff were not overly concerned with my complaint, did exchange for chicken skewer, not as over cooked as Lamb. But no checking on meal before or after complaint. Felt the manager was deliberately not making eye contact. My wife's wrap was ok,nothing special. Would I go back... I don't think I would. Better is available in lots of places.

13 of us attended a birthday meal at Bracknell. Lovely food & Carina, our server, was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Staff were all very friendly… came out & sung happy birthday & all the staff waved & said goodbye when we left. It was a little quiet in there because it was between Christmas & the New Year, but as we were a group we made our own atmosphere, so not an issue.

We had a family dinner on Wednesday. For a long time we couldn't find nice Greek restaurant. But here in the centre of Bracknell we met The Real Greek. In just a few minutes we already had a starters of bread and hummus, for my main I've chosen Moussaka. It was wonderful, just like in Greece. Service was very friendly. I'd like to say thank you to Liudmyla for the great recommendations. Very lovely person. I'll definitely be back.

Having walked out of another Bracknell restaurant due to poor service , we were fortunate to get a table at short notice in Bracknells Real Greek branch. Warmly greeted by our server Faiz, we were quickly served our lovely assortment of dishes and drinks by himself and the rest of the friendly and. Helpful team. Real Greek is a great place for food as it offers a tasty range of food for all dietary requirements. We will be back.
