The Raven in Southwark

Popped in for a drink and a rest, lovely pub very airy and bright definitely worth a visit. Met a couple of lovely people in there, food looked lovely and smelt beautiful but we had just eaten so couldn't manage a meal .

The Raven is a pub established in 2003, had several tenants, and is located in Southwark next to the Tower Bridge. The pub offers drinks, a choice of beers and basic pub food. It is popular with bypasses and tourist. Furnishings and decoration provide a easy going atmosphere. You can have your drink inside, or at the street-side porch. Service is adequate. On a weekday we came for dinner. We went for fish and chips accompanied by glass of beer. The choice of ales is impressive. The food was unimpressive, and beer was good.

Excellent service, they are very kind. I asked advice in beer and they made me taste the beer before to choose one. Food fresh and good

Stopped here for a well earned drink after walking the length & breadth of London. Great selection of drinks and a wonderful Sunday toast !!

Popped in to The Raven as we arrived in London, a great welcome and a friendly team attended to us very well. Sidney made you instantly feel like one of the family. Food looked great and the atmosphere was family friendly. Will deffo make this a alway pop in when ever we are in London again

lovely pub, great atmosphere. didn’t have food but we were very tempted! bar staff were great, cracking jokes about my boyfriends silly taylor swift tshirt, and even finding more glasses to add to his outfit! super lovely so ended up staying for quite a few hours and what a great time! thanks guys, defo will come back next time we are in london!!! x

Didn't know this ittle pub exiisted and it's worth a visit. The food was great, and a large range of beers sharps solar wave was My favourite . Also Neckoil.

We absolutely love The Raven, it is the best pub in Central London - great craft ales and a wonderful welcome from the Landlady Michelle and her husband. We liked it so much we returned for a drink the following evening and will definitely return when next in London.

Travelled from Faversham Kent to watch The Ravens, Freddy Tribute act. What an absolute blast of a night! Freddy was great, the hosts Miche & Jay make you feel part of the family. A great night had by all !

Only popped in for drinks as we were passing, but as a group of mixed age adults and 2 children, we all absolutely loved this bar. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and let us sample some ales and ciders. Kids were welcomed also. Served hot drinks as well as good beer and cider. Great atmosphere and lovely location. Would definitely return and recommend.

Pub très sympa, déco anglaise. Cuisine anglaise, simple mais efficace! Le fish and chips était à la hauteur. Très bon moment.

Good pub, good food, good people. Can absolutely be highly recommended. Not a "traditional" pub, yet just a cool place to be.

Service was ok, music to Loud, food was very bad. Fish and chips not good at all. No ambiance , no soul. There was something to this place that wasn’t inviting or comfortable

Excellent choix de bières mais très déçue du fish and chip. Peut-être est-ce exceptionnel car les avis des autres voyageurs sont bons. Je m’y suis d’ailleurs fiée pour ce choix de restaurant. Mais le poisson était insipide cuit avec la peau dans le fish and chip et gluant. Heureusement nous en avions pris un pour deux et nous n’avons pas mangé la totalité.

Was walking the bridge and found this place for lunch. Service was great, food was awesome. Beer was cold, and place was packed.

We had a truly awesome visit at the Raven yesterday. The first food we ate after arriving in London. I wish I would have gotten the bartenders name. He was a big man with a beard. Very witty and knew everything about his brews! Made the visit quite enjoyable. Not to mention the food. It was outstanding. I had the burger and my wife had the fish and chips, both were great! I would have enjoyed if the food was lousy but we lucked out and met someone quite cool and had fantastic food!

Came to The Raven in early December for our work Christmas party and it was excellent! The food was delicious and really reasonable and the staff (Michelle in particular) couldn’t have been more accommodating or friendly. Special touch putting out place cards and crackers too. Had a really fantastic afternoon/evening and will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Popped into an old regular to find it has been transformed into a wonderful new place. The greeting and attention we received from the owner & waiter was lovely and welcoming and our dinner was delicious. Will definitely be going back more often

The Raven on Tower Bridge Road has been through many changes over the decades, but the latest version seems the best. We had a great dinner there with excellent service and delicious food. A really good option for locals as well as visitors to the area.

We randomly stopped in here last night I think it’s recently been refurbished as we’d not noticed it before. This place stands out as a really welcoming and friendly place compared to many of the bland barns that are in the vicinity. We knew we were int he right place when the barman was so friendly, smiling IS a good thing - it’s a shame so many places feel they are too cool to do so. Anyway it’s a nice space, we sat outside had a great chat with some random which goes to show it’s the sort of pub where even fellow customers are relaxed and friendly. We even had a nice chat with the owner later and she showed us this amazing bar upstairs that they intend to open as a venue soon. This place is to definitely watch if they can get the entertainment right it could be a real hidden gem.

Pub muy cerca de Tower bridge. Cantidad de tipos diferentes de cervezas. No probamos la comida, pero tenia buena pinta....

Great atmosphere, huge range of drinks, delicious food and brilliant music!! My friend and I popped in here for a few drinks and dinner one night while we were in London for a long weekend - we’ll definitely be back again next time we’re around!

We ate here twice while in London the fish and chips were delicious along with the desserts being amazing. The bartender was extremely helpful and friendly. Would recommend to any traveler staying at The Tower Hotel.

The pub offers a good range of beers. It's certainly worth a visit but don't miss the wide range nearby under the railway arches.

Drop into this cool pub just if you got a bus taking you through tpwer bridge and you are in a need of a fancy beer. Recommendation.

Fantastic place with awesome staff, great beer selection and the fish & chips are to die for! Pool and darts upstairs and bands downstairs.

Plenty of different beers with your fish and chips. Great location for this bar restaurant while visiting the neighbourhood.
