Was in the area and wanted breakfast. It's a combined farm shop type shop and cafe. Food was good but you pay for it, being an affluent part of London. They weren't particularly busy but I waited about 20 minutes for my sandwich. I think they forgot about it, and I had long finished my coffee when it eventually arrived, with an apology. I thought it was a bit much that they added a tip to the bill!

We had an impromptu breakfast in Dulwich village outside at Romeo Jones and it was exceptional The young man at the next table described the expresso as “dry” and I knew what he meant allow it was excellent My Eggs Benedict was delicious - the Hollandaise Sauce not at all “metallic” as can happen. My wife liked her fried eggs, bacon and tomatoes The service was very friendly

The French toast was really lovely and a very good portion size for the price - I really enjoyed it! The apple juice was very expensive for what it was (a very very small glass for nearly £3) which was a shame! Service was great and everyone seemed friendly! Loved the outside seating!

I came with two friends for brunch, but they forgot to make my order :( (scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon) I understand mistakes happen but then when they finally brought mine out it was just average - toast was quite soggy and the eggs had too much butter for my taste. Salmon was nice though! It was also quite expensive for what you get. Staff seemed lovely though!

I’ve been to about 101 caffès in London and this is one of the loveliest places I have been to. Food and cakes are amazing, the owners/ staff are great people and the vibes are cosy and beautiful. It’s the best London refuge to read a book with a coffee 6/5 stars, if your in the south it’s a great stop!

Curious to support and try a local café... The interior is cute, they have good looking cakes and pastries and breakfast//lunch options too. However, it was not a good coffee to my taste, the oat milk was sweet and considering the size, it was quite pricey.

Whenever I am in Dulwich I try and visit this cute little deli and café for a coffee and their delectable cakes. On a sunny August day I grabbed one of their pavement tables (there are only a few more inside). Their cappuccino is always excellent. I had a nice pastel de nata to go with it and a rather wonderful slice of lemon and rosemary cake which was moist and lemony, and infused with just the right amount of the fragrant herb. Service was pleasant as always, and the lit was under £9 before a tip. A nice place to have a break before or after visiting Dulwich Art Gallery.

A must try for take away coffee - the best flat white in Dulwich! 5/5 Unfortunetly the eating in experience left a lot to be desired. 2/5 Staff didn't seem on the ball (had to ask for sugar, cutlery, sauce, and wrong food brought over) but we thought the ridiculous heat might be something to do with that which is understandable and so we really didn't mind so much. What got me was the reaction when I checked the bill which was showing the wrong dish that had originally been brought over to me so I naturally questioned it. The younger lady was incredibly defensive, rather than offering a simple explanation, proceeded to elaborately over explain very patronisingly which wasn't necessary at all.

I came here after visiting the nearby Dulwich Picture Gallery. It's a tiny place with a few tables inside and another two or three outside on the pavement. It also doubles as a deli, and is run by a lovely couple. The lady greeted me warmly, I immediately felt at home. They do a few home cooked dishes for lunch, but as it was early afternoon I had my eye on the cakes. There was a reasonable choice, most looked enticing, and I found it difficult to decide. I settled for a slice of pistachio and rose cake which was utterly delicious, light and moist. I asked if the cakes were homemade and was told they were made by a friend who is obviously a very good baker. The cappuccino was also nice, and the bill was under GBP7, fairly average for London. I shall definitely visit again next time I am in Dulwich.

cute spot; lovely sitting in the building, rather than sitting out on the road, which had more people sitting in the Sun. Juice was nice, as was coffee. Grateful for lost property back. Thank you

Slightly limited light bites menu, but everything I saw looked lush & what we had ( coffee, sandwiches & cake ), excellent & fairly priced. Overall a traditional gem of a place, with a pleasant feel, that's elevated up a league by a fantastic warm, attentive & enthusiastic young team providing service. There was a hiccup over delayed ( missed ) coffee, that should've been resolved easier & thus could have become annoying, but as everything else so spot on, this nothing but a blip & I'd go back again &again.

We were due for an appointment in the area on a Saturday afternoon, so we're looking for somewhere close by to have a light / early lunch. My partner liked the sound of Romeo Jones on the basis they had diary and gluten free cake options available, that was about as far as we had researched prior to arrival, time was short. We were greeted by friendly and engaging staff on entering, and seated in the window at the front of house. I don't think we were being shown off, but seating at the back always already busy and outside was a little too cold, even given the bright sun in the autumn afternoon. The menu was descriptive and interesting, not too many dishes, it's a cafe / deli, I felt the menu fitted perfectly. Freshly made egg dishes, brunch options and salads dominate the menu. The main picks for us were the hollumi (I can't spell this cheese) salad for my partner, and the ploughman salad for myself. Both sounded attractive on the menu, and stepped up to deliver when they arrived. Our daughters fussiness on the day was accommodated with ease (toast, peanut butter and mashed avocado), checking how best to serve the toddlers request. Looking round the deli and being able to here the team talk to other customers and amongst themselves about the food options available in the deli and on the menu gave confidence they love their work, there was pride and knowledge in their products all richly deserved. My only minor regret of our visit was that I was unable to try the coffee being advertised next door at the barbers, if the coffee is as half as good as their neighbours service it's be worth a visit.

Having visited this tea shop a while ago and had an enjoyable visit my recent visit was not good. There has obviously been new management who are cutting corners. The interior is bland with a mish mash of styles. The owners should be lucky that health and safety officials did not visit the day I was there! Young, unprofessional staff were handling chocolates with bare hands, then touching their faces and walls then going back to the chocolates. We asked for the table to be wiped too. They were arguing and the atmosphere in the cafe was bad! On top of this we were served dry brownies. I will not be going back - Dulwich has no other tea shops in the village and really needs some competition for this badly run and unhygienic place.

There's a good selection on both menus and plenty of drinks to choose from. I opted for the eggs benedict. Food came quickly and was pretty decent.
