Clean tidy and a huge range of goods

A warehouse sized store with two levels. They have a great selection of budget friendly items including stationary, homeware, bedding, arts and craft, toys, pet accessories/food, kitchenware, frames and prints, and lights and bulbs. They usually have a good selection of seasonal items depending on the time of years ie Halloween and Christmas. The upstairs has a good cafe that has a good selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks. The store also has a frozen food section courtesy of Iceland.

Had food poisoning from eating at the cafe, (diahorrea and sickness) chicken was cold, and red. Cafe should be locked down as staff are incapable of heating food. Also food is overpriced for what it is. Chicken was grey and red, not fit for a dog to eat never mind a human. Environment Health needs to shut down this cafe ASAP.

Would give zero stars if I could, food not cooked, cold and poor quality. Expecting to have food poisoning tonight. Chicken quality is awful, grey and red meat, should have gone to KFC instead. Also not cheap £5 for 3 bits of chicken.

Is everyone OK in the cafe? Many members of staff but seems like only one doing anything. Seems hecktic working there in busy times. Things run smoothly if everyone works as a team and all chips in. Well done to the one woman working till, taking orders, making the coffees and serving up the cakes 👏

Had most of the things I wanted, but a long queue to pay was frustrating.

Has all the stuff I need wide variety of stock of all kinds

Good prices, café, staff,clearly priced,bargains to be found pluses toilets easy to use access. Free parking, disabled parking good access plenty of them too. 👍🏻 Be careful time passes fast in here and you end up with more than you whent in for. Well you do if you to have a wife like mine. First in last out!

Brill department store, where you can anything for your home from kitchen utilities, bedware, to decorations.

We visited to get some Christmas presents, found that there was a lot of clutter and mess on the shop floor and things didn't have a price on them ( which really annoys me) so I tend not to buy. When asked a member of staff for price, the reply I got was that it's not my department. I wanted a large print, but couldn't get it because the isles were blocked with pallets of deliveries. Picked up the Fimo I needed, but went elsewhere for the larger items, which is a shame .

It's an OK place, not somewhere that you'd want to linger in. Absolutely crammed with stuff everywhere and toddlers running riot up & down the aisles - even during the week! Also, the prices are no different to B&M, poundland, etc.

Cafe is not as good as it used to be

Went there for an interview and it was great. Everyone was real nice, customer service was quick and they have tons of options in terms of goods available! Decent prices too considering the stuff they sell.

Same old tat... good for a wander round when the weather is bad

One of my favourite 'go to' stores! I love almost everything they stock. Store staff are so friendly and helpful and their home delivery service is great, keeps me informed of my order via a tracking service 👍👍👍👍👍

I found several items that I didn't realise I needed as well as the one item I went in for 😂😂

A strange range. All the same stuff. But in a smaller shop. Herefore Aisles are narrow and much of the outer aisles were full on pallets with rapped stock and not use a small amount. In fact I went purposely to look at the home decor specifically pictures. I could only just about see the pics but could not get to any of them. One I really wanted was completely blocked in so much so I would have taken the staff ages to uncover it to make it accessable. They lost out on about 200 worth of sales just in pictures because I have up. My other criticism would be the pricing. I looked for a frying pan. If and of the display had prices. It had no correlation to the item on the hook. So I have up there. Similarly with the ironing boards. I have just moved and am starting from scratch. I love the range but won't be using this one again. I shall go to kidderminster.

Arrived at store to collect a click and collect for my sister, to be told the desk was upstairs, could not find anyone who could help, we asked a warehouse guy who couldn't find anyone either, few minutes later a manager came, came out with 1 box when there was 3....was then left to deal with all 3 BIG boxes by ourselves...then a sales assistant walks pasted us smiles and asks if we are "having fun"...instead of asking if we needed any help she just walked off...disgusting behaviour! It's a good job I didn't have my pushchair with me or I was a older person!

Edit - came back another day and they once again sold cold semi-reheated chicken. Staff act like it's ok. But no, you can't do that. It's dangerous. The Range sells out of date food products and then make it impossible to get a refund or anything. The cafe servers undercooked sweet potato fries, which are hard as carrots, and staff say they cooked them for the right time. Also had 3x BBQ chicken melts that they tried to serve up cold. Bit silly that they give you table service signs but call you up instead to collect.

Love the range. So much to look at.

Disappointed not to be able to get some basic craft materials

Lately, untidy and cluttered place to shop. Feels low rent and way off the pace of its rivals.

Love the range got all of my uni supplies and arts and crafts stuff here. And came out with way more than I needed as always. Can't go wrong! Xo

Great selection of pretty much anything!

Some nice art and craft things but went for a picture for a wall. Nearly every one of the right size pictures had either glitter added or gold highlights! Why?? A member of staff was unable to tell me if the cafe did more than hot drinks and cake. Later learnt they do but I'd gone elsewhere. Nice bits and bobs for kitchens.

Waiting to pay for too long. I only had one item. Gave up and left.

It's a bit disjointed in the way it's laid out, but if they haven't got it, you don't need it. Did find it almost impossible to find a member of staff, and when I did, they just pointed me back in the direction of the maze of aisles.

The whole place (The Range and the estate it's on) is a bit run down. Products all over the place makes it difficult to find what you're after.

Does what it says on the tin, a small added bonus is that Iceland is now in store as well. Always busy the only thing i would say is, sometimes it takes a long time to get a situation at the till sorted like a refund but apart from that it's fine

Nice place with many products. Although asked for assistance in regards to a product, not much help was given - Warehouse not checked or checked on system etc. Looks a bit dirty too. But has a good range of products.

Got almost everything you need, great shop

Has a whole of varieties for the house , not as much for the garden only a very small section, downside is you have to go round the entire shop to exit as there is no crossing. Staff are friendly, prices are in good report to the quality of the items.

Paid nearly a thousand pounds for a sofa, firstly i was charged for delivery.. at such a cost I'd of thought delivery was included. Secondly the delivery is an utter joke! Stated 8 days for delivery but over the phone they said 8 days was for the delivery company to contact us regarding a delivery date 😳😳 paying so much for an item you would think they would handle their deliverys and customer service to a higher level. Wouldnt use the range for delivery only items ever again no matter how much we want or need the item. Never going through this again..

Good sized shop with all the usual decorative and household things. Decent sized DIY section, and a surprisingly large frozen food selection.

Easy to find, free easy parking, friendly staff and a great collection of stuff.

The shop has a good range of products no pun intended but it seems a bit crammed in. There is allot of missing price tickets and the tills get busy quickly.

Always find a good bargain , didn't buy some items due to not being priced up. Cafe upstairs not that good.

One of my family favourite shop. A bit of everything for everyone. I love browsing through garden section, there is always something new. Kids loves art and kids section. Iceland on site is very good idea. Lovely place where everyone will find something interesting and always good deal.

Having worked here my self I know the good and bad, good for a wide choice of items, ie pets ,diy home living, garden camping to name just a few. They have trouble keeping on top of pricing up stock but from own experience it's down to under staffing issue's, and again from experience they all work extremely hard trying their best with very little thanks

l always try to reason with myself when frequenting this store that the scale and size of the operation on discount retail labour budgets must make for a difficult time in terms of running. However after visiting a sister store at Wrexham and also Bristol I find myself unable to keep making excuses. The Staff are disengaged, lacking any form of customer service. It is not hygienic, clearly cleaning practices are not observed - dirty shelving, touch points and unsanitary conditions in the customer toilets On shelf availability is great if you can unscramble your mind from the merchandising clashes that send you into sensory overload, you’re so busy trying to find what you look for that you forget to check the price… The lighting department is abysmal - how can a department dedicated to lighting be so dim and uninviting? Seasonal space is poorly executed, I don’t understand why your seasonal space is put on a mezzanine, it’s awkward, if you have a trolley you need to cram yourself into a dirty lift that screams bacterial paradise. On the note of trolleys they are in absolute disrepair… rusted bolts and handles seems in keeping with the over all structural aesthetics of the store itself. Check outs are a nightmare, till operatives seem to be a rare find, and when you do find one they tend to be less than sociable (I’ve actually been growled at before) All in all it’s a poorly run store, the store itself is tired overloaded and disorganised which is reflective too in the team. At this point I would suggest holding field management more accountable. Where is the oversight? I’m assuming the overseeing manager of that catchment has similar issues as the store and staff. Sort it out.
