Lovely visit friendly helpful staff . We sat outside and staff still checked everything was ok , great service well done guys ! Loved our shared dessert !

Took two young boys for fun and they had all the enjoyment they wanted.

Wacky was fab , Jazz the lady on duty was amazing in everyway , an asset to your pub .

We are frequently visitors to the gingerbread man pub, whether on our own or with family & friends and we have a fabulous time at the wacky warehouse. My children love it! The staff are always accomadating, friendly, polite and make us feel welcome....definitely recommend!

Very friendly server and great service

Attended a party here for my and everything was literally taken care of with ease, the kids of a wide age range had a ball, as did the adults, the nice thing about this wacky is that you can see across the equipment with ease. All the food was immense and plentiful and yummy. Party room is ace and well decorated so you can turn up with a cake and leave the rest to the team. Go team wacky! Thanks for the epic party!

Quick service, app easy to navigate and pay on. Good quality, good value price and friendly service.

Lovely experience . Calm atmosphere. Friendly environment... Staff were also friendly and helpful. The selection of the carvery was really good . But the only issue was that it's wasn't very warm. Has to ask for gluten free gravy, which the were more than happy to sort, but wasn't a lot and again wasn't warm. Over all happy experience .

Waited 45 mins for food and 1 of the meals were cold, It sat out the back waiting for a good 10 mins before bought to the table. The sizes of the portions have taken a big cut, the salad was just 2 lettuce leaves. Lately they have been short staffed which is effecting service and waiting times…

Opted for the carvery. The worst food I think I've ever had. It looked as though it had been sitting on the carver counter all day. We visited at 6.30 on a week day evening. Was very quiet. Staff were helpful and attentive. Commented on the food quality being poor but only received an apology. Will not be visiting again.

Called last minute for a carvery and still plenty of food and choice.

Gary and Kim are so welcoming and always have time and attention for their customers, many of whom are friends. Large family pub with a play barn catering kids parties. A good carvery roast dinner and excellent choice for a Christmas dinner get together.

I pride myself on not being a ‘fussy’ eater but the carvery we had defeated me. It was simply, the worst carvery I have ever had, and I’m 70. We went there to watch the euros and have a bite. The place was fairly empty at 6.30pm but I noticed there was a carvery so decided to give it a go. Right, the food. The pile of yorkshires were ‘all’ flat and soggy looking, the meats were dried out and the ‘mash’ had grey masses in it, and indistinguishable from the cauliflower next to it. The other vegetable, carrots were tough and rubbery. In general it was all barely warm. I managed about half of the meal before giving up. We didn’t even stay to watch the England game. To be fair, the lady waitress/manageress did ask if everything was ok in passing and I pulled my face and said, honestly, it is fairly average and she did apologise and asked if there was anything else she could get us but we declined. I don’t usually do reviews but strongly enough that other customers needed to know our experience before making their choices.

The serving staff were rude and when told that something wasn't right we were challenged with her saying 'What's wrong with it' she said this twice and then went on to call my husband love. She also called another customer love also. The food was 3rd rate. After spending £40 we were shocked by this

If you’ve got a pup this is an amazing place for you and your doggie. The food for us was spot on and even the dog had a meal. Friendly, kind and considerate staff. This is our new local, even though it’s 30 mins away.

Small fish and chips 🤣🤣🤣 honestly I was impressed, but I had the carvery have to be open, I went here a year back and rated it but this time. Those roast spuds what did you do to them 🤔 not really nice, meat as spot on though,

We came fathers day for our daughters 21st birthday and our grandsons 2nd birthday with friends and family our service was excellent and Gary couldn’t have done enough for us thank you x

the worst experience with my grandchildren the warehouse is FILTHY just thinking about the toilets make me feel sick. it was not from it being a bad day either it is pure neglect. the poor girl working there was on her own trying to do everything it is a disgrace. I spoke to a lady in there about it and she said " oh i know it is bad but the kids cant see it can they" That just says it all. I stupidly paid £11 for the privilage I had booked a table in the pub for meals but again one man on the bar trying to do everything and two young girls working their socks off trying to clean tables and serve out food as a result the place looked a mess but at least it was cleaner. if you are trying to save money by cutting staff then you will be saving a lot when you are closed down when envenvironmental health come calling.On the positive side mc Donalds was lovely.

Beautiful carvery gary was very helpful and very welcoming Reccomend. Mac n cheese and fish and chips also lovely. Reasonably priced too

Came here last night with a family member and friend, my dish was lovely ( chicken topped with Nashville hot sauce), family members was also good couldn't fault it, friends was also good, definitely would recommend you guys.great waitress too was lovely and caring. Lovely pub, mega friendly 👌 and really helpful people. We were treated with hellos from a chap at the bar who did his best to assist us just off his back along with the smiling bar lady. What more cold you want? Lots of space and tables and everything looked nice and clean

We were a party of 4 adults and one child there was no one else in the place, the service was extremely slow there were dirty glasses on a couple of tables that were still there when we left, my food was tepid at best we won't be returning.

Went to the Gingerbread man in the hot weather fancying a nice drink and some food with my mates. Service from Tom and Karter at the bar they were very welcoming and helpful. Freya brought our food over she was very helpful and offered us more drinks and pudding. Couldn't of asked for a better experience. Will definitely come again!

There was food and cutlery under the table we sat on, food wasn't very nice, cheese sauce came out stodgy, steak wasn't cooked to how it was supposed to be cooked, the young lad behind the bar was not very pleasant.

We had a carvery meal for 4 people which was lovely. The service was great, and the waitress was very attentative. A great experience, we shall be returning.

Great Food apart from the roast potatoes.I went with my Aunt 89 and my Mom 87.The staff were very polite and helpful especially Keira Rushton ,who could not do enough for us as we all have walking difficulties.Nothing was to much trouble. We definitely be back.

This place has great staff, amazing response time and low prices. Food quality is amazing I recommend the carvery it is usually great and my personal favourite. The waitress Georgia is really hard working and she served us for the night, she was working very hard all night.

We have been coming here for some time, today felt different. The atmosphere was happy lots of families and children having a good time. The food was lovely and tasty with plenty choices. Staff were friendly and helpful going the extra mile. My dogs will be extremely grateful for the dog pots plenty of meat for the lads.

Had a Beautiful Sunday Roast Dinner today, lovely food, lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff are a true credit to their employers, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thankyou xx

After our 1st visit here today at around 2.45 for a carvery. We was told it would be around 15 mins for fresh veg (which is absolutely fine) 35 mins later"fresh veg" was ready..... we had gammon and beef. Both of which were like old leather. Then the veg was disgraceful & roast potatoes were even worse. They looked like they had been warmed up in a microwave. We raised our concerns with the waitress who was very apologetic. But had no offer of replacements and no feed back. Then the Yorkshire puddings were like cold cardboard. And the gravey was like swamp water. The only nice part was the mashed potatoes. It goes say we hardly ate any of it & left Very disappointed to say the least. Complete waste of money

**EDIT** Having previously left a review of 3 stars and with the notion of wanting to change it based on an improved visit, I am happy to change to 5 stars now. I have been the last two weekends for their carvery and it has drastically improved. The meat is tender and kept moist all throughout the day, the veg is nice and done well, not overdone but not under-done either. Staff have been in better spirits and serve you with a smile. A massive improvement from the time before, will happily return here and enjoy their carvery :) Well done!

The most dirty place we've eaten! Food all over the floor so we moved to a table with the least mess, got our drinks sat down had one sip of my drink to find the glass covered in lipstick,.. first time and last time ever going in there.. shame tbh because we pass it regularly

The staff were having a meeting which was quite unprofessional. Whilst we were having our meal. Food was ok. They missed the cheese sauce off my food and they had no rice in for a curry.

Stopped off on route home. Decent carvery style Sunday dinner was enjoyed.

Absolutely worth recommending, coming here for breakfast every Saturday, never disappointed and bacon and egg muffins are legendary. Very nice staff, especially Freya and Danny.

It's a great place to take the whole family for a lovely meal. Staff are very understanding when children chose to switch orders and add extras all staff were very pleasant and kind. Thank you for the lovely meal! Keira was excellent and nothing was too much.

We came here to use the soft play facilities (not the main restaurant). No complaints from the children, who spent all their time playing and didn't get bored. Overall it was a clean and fairly inviting interior, if a little cramped. It was fortunately quiet when we came but I bet when it's busy it's quite cramped, with tables quite close to each other, limited by the size of the venue. Toilets were clean and well maintained, service was OK too, our coffees were bought to us. The usual options of cakes, crisps and chocolate could be seen when we ordered coffee, and there was a menu available too if you wanted to eat.
