The Range Cafe in St. Helens

WARNING ⚠️ do not park here unless you are only going to the store… if you walk off the car park you will incur a £100 present 🎁 ( a very happy Christmas present !) A WONDERFUL FINE … the signage is unclear it states you can park for two hours provided you are a customer, which I was… but then I went to help someone who had fallen on the disabled parking bay … and post a letter in the post box m, so for being a good citizen & walking off the car park I was sent a nice fine… I refuse not to be a good citizen and will always help people who need my help… I will be checking if my car filmed the event & if it has I will release it on every social media outlet site & every news paper and every other media outlet humanly possible as this is a disgrace …. I would have thought st Helen’s would have welcomed custom seeing as the town is dying in its feet but my money will spend anywhere … and it won’t be here ever again nor would I pay to charge my car in the event of maybe walking 🚶‍♀️ anywhere big brother says I’m not allowed to and being fined …. As a store the range is amazing but never ever will I shop there again

tea spoons dirty, no vegan or vegetarian options!! Hardly any cake options left, tray filthy, mugs dirty. Tables not being wiped after use. Would not be coming here ever again!!

As the title says, went in, still an hour till the cafe/shop closes. The woman says we are not allowed a toastie as they are cleaning up and have put everything away...with an hour of service left. She was rude and very closed off. A toastie takes like 3 minutes. Will not be returning.

I have never written a bad or good review in my life however I have never been so appalled in my life , service was awful and the food has physically made me feel sick , tea tasted like dishwater , clotted cream was hard and yellow and the slushy turned to ice after only drinking it for 2 minutes , absolutely disgusted, will never be going back there ! Save your money people !

The prices Were .horrendous, the mocha was undrinkable, generally disgusting, would not go again, it was only half three and there was no hot food!

Don’t shop here, it states 2 hours free parking, but if u step one foot off the car park u will be issued with a £60 fine. No cash machine on the site. Arrogant unprofessional managers,

The cafe is dark & prices are £ in bold with very small type reasons that food will cost more than they catch you with the first price. ie: breakfast bloomer £1.50 with any hot drink SO breakfast bloomer goes from 1.50pp to £3.60pp. We wouldn’t go back through lack of choice & miserable server. (Plus Bloomer bread advertised was cheap thin white sliced bread!)

Went to the range too have a look round there so much to see in the range and it resonably price's what ever you buy out of the range we called in the cafe had a coffee it's a nice and peaceful just to unwind if you get a card from the staff you get it stamp every time you visit the cafe and have a drink when it's full you get a free coffee or tea the food nice but a little expensive the staff are very helpful

Me and my husband went today, omg I wish we hadn’t of bothered, we spent £17 plus, for heartburn!!! It was awful, the baguette with pulled pork and full of beans, don’t understand that, there was more beans than pork, and no taste to it whatsoever?? The coleslaw was terrible and we paid extra for it, my stomach is killing me since, we had cake that I could of done a better job of!! Just disgusting, I’ve never felt so strongly about reviewing something!!! Steer clear if I was you!!!!!!!!!!!

Food lives up to the other Range locations. Nice bar in this location with local drafts. Speed of preparation was a little slower than other range locations. Good service, fresh food. Green Chile a bit more mild than anticipated. Overall, a very good place to get lunch, but not outstanding.

Visit here quite often just for the cafe, the service is always very good as the staff are very friendly! The coffee is nice there is a very relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seating. Parking is free upto two hours.

No tienda aquí - 60 libras por el parking!!! ¿Por qué tomar la oportunidad cuando hay otras tiendas similares en las inmediaciones que no .....A escondidas le 60 libras si Park por más de 2 horas. Esta es una tienda muy grande con una tienda...

Worst coffee ever, walk over to Mcdonald if you fancy a half decent coffee. Not the best. Not very clean either.

We went to the cafe whilst shopping in the store, not a huge choice for breakfast but a really good choice of snacks and cakes. We settled for a cuppa, it was fine. The store is fab huge range, pun intended, of household goods with a fab gazebo on show. Plenty of car parking and easy to find.
