The pub has had a refurb during lockdown and Donna has worked hard on improving and expanding the menu. I've eaten here twice this week and it has been excellent both times. There are spacious eating areas both inside the pub and outside (and no smoking in the outside garden eating as that is reserved for another area). On Thursday evening I had prawns with garlic and my partner had prawns with lime and chilli - both fab. We went with my son for Sunday lunch today and there was chicken, gammon and beef on offer as a Sunday roast which you could mix if you wanted to. Between us we had the full range and it was superb with a great selection of vegetables including cauliflower cheese. We all cleared our plates. Absolutely delicious. Then a good selection of desserts. This is a great choice if you want a day by the river and great food with a nice atmosphere.

Came here for breakfast with a friend about 11:30 am, was absolutely delicious and great value only £6.50 and was huge. Nice drinks, atmosphere and cosy fire. Definitely recommend.

A small village cafe for locals and visitors. Friendly service team and offers fresh home made food daily. Lovely homemade cakes as well. (my favourite is the ginger cake)

I have been visiting the View for several years and have always been delighted with the ambience, service, quality of the food and its presentation. The students can feel very proud of themselves. My friend and I were celebrating our respective birthdays on our last visit, and this was acknowledged with candles on our dessert and an extra chocolate treat. Were were delighted.

We had a drive to find a nice countryside pub, so found the Kings Arms and stopped off. Had a couple of pints, missus on the coke as she was driving. I had the lamb shank roast, missus had the chicken salad. Both were spot on in taste and presentation. Veg was fresh and the lamb just fell off the bone. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We will certainly be back.
