The Railway in City of London, Westminster

Después de viajar en tren paramos aquí para tomar una copa rápida, nos gustó lo grande que era el lugar y que tenían un montón de asientos fuera. Fue un gran lugar para ver a la gente, se sentía como un lugar seguro y amable, que es bueno, tuvimos un poco de descanso aquí, que fue relajante, y en el futuro probablemente trataríamos esto como un punto de encuentro! El lugar sirve comida y tiene varias habitaciones que dan cabida para deportes y funciones, etc. Estoy seguro de que volveremos aquí en un futuro próximo

La segunda cerveza fue excelente, cuando me opuse a la elección de la calle 1, una cerveza normal de verdad que bebo la camarera de bar me dio una alternativa que era excelente, el gerente le dijo que habíamos “cambiado de opinión”. No quiero escuchar esto, era plano, sin cabeza y más propenso a enfermarme. Conozco mis verdaderos ales.

Staff all really helpful and friendly - not always the case in a London pub - particularly Monica - good food - very good atmosphere - would definitely come back

Come here a couple of years back when working in the area, worst pub breakfast ever, you can see my review on my profile, was in the area a week ago popped in and it’s just the same crap, didn’t order food after the last time but got some beers and the staff are just dam right rude. Avoid this place if possible.

Rude staff, expensive drinks served in plastic glasses. Asked staff member to clean table and she practically threw the cloth at us to clean ourselves. Terrible pub, dirty, unfriendly, staff barked at customers who walked in they were closing in 15 mins so basically get lost!!! Appalling, would give zero.

Had an amazing visit to the railway tavern yesterday for lunch. It was lovely from the minute we walked in. Mariana took our lunch order and couldn’t do enough to help. Food was amazing and reasonable priced. We will 100% be going back.

Exactly the kind of pub I look for when I’m working away. Busy, bustling but able to get a seat. I was lucky to be served by Denver who made me feel like the most important customer in the bar. Food was fine, Guinness was good and they accommodated my request for a particular football match on TV. Perfect evening.

Denver was a great guy and supplied excellent service. He made our night even better. Good sense of humour and a true gent.

Ru was the best server!!!! By far great experience will be back everyday. See you next time would definitely recommend to a friend

Had the best service I’ve had in this part of town. Ru and Jamie were so attentive to my needs and were extremely friendly the entire night. 10/10 would come again. #greatstaff

Called in on my way to Norwich as had a spare hour. Great location being right outside the station and a bit nicer than the Wetherspoons on the other side. Drink choices were great and not too expensive. Food was delicious and just the right size and value for money considering the area it is in. Staff were nice and seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves.

We had our works party upstairs in their dining room. What’s a great spot. Had our own private bar with two staff who were super friendly. Nothing was too much of a problem. Good drinks choice considering the bar upstairs is a lot smaller than downstairs. Food buffet was good and what you would expect from a pub buffet. We will definitely be going back and will probably have our Christmas do here as well

Went with some friends for after work drinks and had a great time in their upstairs dining room. Total different vibe to downstairs and was a welcome change. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Drinks were spot on and not too expensive considering the location. I had a chicken sharer which was great and just hit the spot. My friend had fish and chips and I wish I had gone for that as well. Looked delicious. Would definitely recommend the room up there for a nice chilled out catch up with friends.

Good spot for drinks and football, Andy was a great help! Not too far from the station either. Will definitely come again

Really cozy and aesthetic pub. Very friendly staff. Got a Guinness at the pub which was very professionally poured. Enjoyed my time!

Went for the Sunday lunch. Not quite the spectacular one they advertised sadly. Decent starter and desert. The main event was a bit of a let down. Not that warm when it arrived and felt a little processed. I’d rather pay more and get a better meal.

I would avoid this place. Terribly grumpy bar staff completely off-putting, so rude close to threatening. It's no wonder pubs are closing at such a fast rate, no one can keep customers with such a bad attitude. This place don't seem interested in having satisfied customers at all.

Excellent location right next to Liverpool Street to go after work. Had a lovely experience with the barmen Elliot, very polite young man, offered fantastic service.

No food tables for disabled people downstairs, a steep set of stairs to tables & more to the toilets! a bit grubby, toilets were disgusting, food took forever to arrive and when it did we had starters and mains together which were cold! Oh and bar staff didn't add on discount as he FORGOT! So had to redo the order!

Typical English pub with beer area and food area. It is a well-preserved building with very pleasant service. The food was very good and at an acceptable price, about GBP 12 per person. I will definitely eat here again the next time I go to London.

Ordered a chicken & bacon sandwich, the filling was a pre pot filling and there was 2 small pieces of bacon in the size of approx 1 mm. The bread had no butter on it and was dry to the point of being stale. The menu read as chicken breast with bacon, this was clearly not the case and for the extortionate price of £8.95. When the server brought the food, I actually said "that can't be what I ordered it was the palest of white colours". The server replied " no that's it, chicken & bacon". I was beyond disappointed, my friend ordered fish cakes and she said that they were a tad better than the sandwich, but looked better than they tasted. I would not visit this place again!

Me pasó por aquí para una reunión de negocios muy ad hoc. Parece un poco en suerte en el día de semana. Parece que podría hacer con algunas personas limpiando las mesas. Sé que es muy, muy concurrida en los días de fútbol, buena suerte en el bar!De todos modos, 4.50 libras por una pequeña dieta Coca Cola y una botella de agua lo dice todo lo que necesitas saber.

Had lunch here. Menu is good and service is good. Good is a bit average but ok at the price. Best bet is to go up stairs to the restaurant. Gets very crowded in the par from around 5. Shows major sporting events and football.

This pub is very average. It feels like it needs a good clean. Its ok for popping in for a quick pint but I would go elsewhere if you want a business meeting or food.

Paré en el ferrocarril antes ir atrás en el tren fuera de Londres. Estaba un poco lleno pero creo que fue debido a un juego en. Mis amigos y yo teníamos un bocado rápido y algunas pintas antes de salir. No es un mal lugar y está ubicado justo al lado de la estación de metro. Merece la pena una parada! Disfrutar de una pinta fría!

Gran pub, excelente comida ( probar la barbacoa sacó Burger de cerdo, es fantástico! ) Muy conveniente mientras se espera un tren de regreso a Norwich. El servicio fue excelente, desde el agradable personal del bar. Ir arriba por un poco más de espacio y un sitio para sentarse. Sin duda, volveremos. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Its not for the fainted hearted, its just a good old style pub with excellent service, I have never had a problem in this pub, drinks, food and service all very nice. It is what it is nothing overly fancy

Had an early evening meal several times at The Railway. It's very convenient for Liverpool St Station. Very friendly helpful staff. Food always good and excellent value.
