Great evening with gf and my oldest friend who was visiting from Australia. The food was excellent as you’d expect. Always a good atmosphere at the BSK. Two stars to highlight, Leanne was fantastic, good fun, good banter, professional and friendly. Tim, Head Sommelier, was brilliant as well. Full of genuinely interesting anecdotes and information. Great wine knowledge as you’d expect. To be fair, Lianne also provided us with excellent recommendations. Thank you for a great evening on this very special and nostalgic inducing evening.

The food was great, but the staff ruined the whole experience. Our waitress was grumpy, she didn’t smile the whole time and we felt like she hates us. When we ordered 2 cocktails and one glass of wine, it took them over 30 minutes to make it, because the bartender was maybe a beginner, so he was looking in the papers for the ingredients and his colleague didn’t help him. The restaurant was more than half empty in that time. We didn’t have anything to drink most of the time. It was quite a weird and unpleasant experience. We wanted desserts, but no one didn’t even came to collect the dishes, Until I asked for the bill. One and half hours and we managed to drink one cocktail, one glass of champagne and one main course. It’s really a shame, because the food was excellent. £270 pounds for 3 people and we felt more welcomed in Nandos or Mcdonalds.

I hate to say this but I was severely looking forward into going to this restaurant for my sisters birthday party as im a HUGE ramsay fan but if he was there last night he would go mad about how poor the service was. I ALWAYS tip the waiters/waitress however I even refused the service charge. Children was waiting so long for their food amd when it did come it was all different timings, forgotten items. For a pint of peroni i waited 40 mins and had to get staff twice. A well done steak was ordered and it came out med- rare and cold. The list literally goes on for how poor the service was so unfortunately I highly doubt i will be going again. We didn't even get an apology for the poor service. It felt like we was put in the corner away from the rest of the restaurant and we was barely seen. If your seeing this gordan don't shout at me lol but this was terrible.

Service brilliant. Decor brilliant. Do not get the idiot sandwich unless you're hung over and in dire need of grease. Was not good.

We did the pod experience, Omar and the team were great, so welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely time and even got a complimentary glass of bubbly. Thank you, we hope to return soon.

So my wife and I, have eaten here on numerous occasions in the late afternoon... And to be fair, we've normally had a decent meal and as such we stay in the bar, for "many" drinks afterwards. However, on this recent visit, I have to say, I was extremely disappointed. I had a simple meal on this occasion, minute stake, chips, and pepper corn sauce (I fully understand we are different when it comes to seasoning) but I think it's safe to say that if you're ordering pepper corn sauce, you expect it to be so... No! it was simply a liquid! and at best my meal was luke warm, the steak was just "plonked" on top of the chips absolutely zero presentation of any kind or effort! I did let our waitress know at the time, about all of the above... And she removed our two glasses of coke from the bill! Surfice to say we did not attend the bar that afternoon! Dissappointing... Definitely not your usual standard.

This was our third visit to Bread Street Kitchen at St Paul’s. The first time we had a lovely meal and the second visit was for lunch, when we were disappointed. The food was very expensive and very average. We visited as a family before the London Marathon. The service and atmosphere was good but the food was poor. Not one of our meals was of the standard you should expect for the prices charged.

Nadie pasó de todos modos para comprobar si estábamos disfrutando y si todo estaba bien. Pedí un capuchino extra caliente para mi madre, llegó frío. Lo enviamos de vuelta y el gerente (hombre, alto) dijo que se haría otro. Me sorprendió mucho ver que no lo renunciaron a la factura como gesto de buena voluntad. Dada la decepción, pedí que se eliminara el cargo de servicio de £ 15. Al revisar mis recibos cuando llegué a casa, noté que no era quitado, ¡qué increíblemente deshonesto! Finalmente NO hay rollo de papel higiénico en las damas, el restaurante no estaba ocupado, así que no hay excusa cero para que esto sea así. El restaurante tiene tanto potencial, realmente espero que suban su juego!

Very average bland food that was not as good as our local gastro pub. We paid £226 for 3 starters, 4 mains and 5 soft drinks. Very disappointing experience. You really are paying for the location. Plus points were the great service and lovely atmosphere.

Always a great place for lunch or dinner, service fantastic and atmosphere buzzing.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary, and we were excited to come after visiting Hell's Kitchen in Vegas. We didn't have the best experience at Hell's Kitchen, but Bread Street Kitchen and Bar exceeded our expectations. Omar, our waiter, was pleasant and attentive. The manager offered us appetizers when our meal (Beef Wellington) took longer than expected to come out. The head chef, Musa, stopped by our table and greeted us after the food came out, in addition to surprisingus with an complimentary side. I'd give the food 5/5 and the service was spectacular.

An early Friday dinner (6:45) meant it was very quiet. Had a wonderful meal, hosted by Omar. Great, thoughtful service.

The total meal cost for the four of us was about 260 pounds. We ordered Beef Wellington, fish and chips, and a steak set. The three-course meal was 39 pounds. We drank 2 glasses of red wine, 2 glasses of juice, and 1 glass of sparkling water. If you are full after eating, the service staff will hint that you need to order more when ordering. You may not have enough food and end up not being able to finish it. I was just curious to try it, so I didn’t have high expectations, but surprisingly it was okay. The seats are not big, the lights are dim, and the relaxed atmosphere is informal. It is in a shopping mall converted from a power plant. Desserts are my least favorite. The ice cream delivered to the table melted.

Si ese es el caso, ¿por qué incluirlos en el menú? También pedimos una botella de champagne rosado, solo para tener la botella equivocada abierta. La botella tenía un precio de £ 100, y en lugar de hacer un escándalo o desperdiciarla, decidimos dejarla ir. Luego vino el filete ribeye que figuraba en el menú, pero nos dijeron que no había ninguno disponible. En su lugar, nos ofrecieron solomillo, que se sentía como un sustituto pobre, especialmente para un lugar que se enorgullece de la calidad. El restaurante en sí era frío, hasta el punto de que tuvimos que mantener nuestros abrigos durante toda la comida, que no era ideal para una noche de celebración. Cuando llegó nuestro plato principal de pescado, se había acabado - salado. Devolvimos los platos, y el camarero reconoció que el chef estaba de acuerdo en que eran demasiado salados. Para ellos, los platos de pescado fueron retirados de la factura, pero en ese punto, el daño estaba hecho. En general, fue una experiencia muy decepcionante. Para una ocasión especial, esperaba mucho mejor, y no puedo evitar sentirme decepcionado por el servicio general y la calidad.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This spot offers not only delicious food but also top-notch service that makes you feel right at home. What truly made our visit memorable, however, was our waiter, Rakesh. From the moment we sat down, Rakesh greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. He was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed. His recommendations were spot-on, and it was clear he knew the menu inside-out. Rakesh's friendly demeanor and professional attitude added a personal touch to our dining experience, making it all the more enjoyable.

Crab with avocado was tasty, but there was so little crab you couldn’t really taste crab. Roast beef dinner was cold, everything was, including gravy, and all under seasoned. Beef, despite being offered pink or well done, was well done. And so thin! A hair in one plate. The staff were attentive to drinks but no one checked on our food after serving. We ate our meal, as we we were hungry after a days walking (on holiday). The gent who we can assume was the manager, was grumpy & not welcoming. V Disappointing.

I took my mum here for Mother's Day because we love a good roast. I have been here b4 and loved it the last time, so I thought, why not. The staff were friendly but were not very attentive. We had to keep getting their attention to get service, which was quite annoying during a meal. I had the chicken roast, which was pretty good. I liked the chicken, and the roast potatoes were perfect. The swede was a bit salty for my taste, so I didn't eat them. I still enjoyed my meal. The crab toast starter was amazing. We had two of those. There was a cauliflower and mushroom soup starter, which we did not like the taste of and sent back with no fuss, I'm glad to say. The sticky toffee pudding was good, too. Overall, we had a good time. It's clean, has great decor and a lovely atmosphere. I would recommend it.

Food is nice. Service was a bit slow and at times almost had to beg for attention. Looked a bit understaffed in a big space.

Meatballs and chicken wings are super tasty. Very pricey but it is in St Pauls, only stopped for a quick lunch but you could easily spend £100 a head. Service was ok, bit too loud to have a buisness meeting in though.

We had a capsule experience booked. The food was excellent a lot of different foods to try and the service was excellent Omar was brilliant - very attentive and polite.

I had ordered the hamburger with great excitement, but it wasn’t very impressive. The doneness wasn’t quite as I had requested, though the flavor was good. I tried sticky toffee pudding for the first time — it was a different and pleasant taste. Even though it didn’t leave a big impression, it’s a place worth visiting at least once to try it out.

First of all, the staff serving are great, however, they are let down by the food. A colleague and I, simply ordered a full English breakfast each, which on the face of it looked nice. Well, unfortunately, every item had different temperatures (None of which was hot) All cold, the bacon rind was just rubbery ( I know people prefer it in all different textures but crispy please) There was a mushroom that may as well have come out the fridge. And congratulations to the procurement manager for finding the smallest eggs I’ve seen🤔 The £4:50 cappuccino was basically a shot of coffee. Would I eat there again, no Is it worth the money absolutely not. Wonderful work Ta

£26 for half and sandwich and chips. Enough said.

This is a 5 star place really. I just happened to be there at a 4 star point where city people were just going back to the office after having lunch. When the buzz is on the atmosphere and variety of the lunch pizza toppings will have max effect.

Having went to Bread Street Kitchen last night, I must say it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Honeybee Sour mocktails were very good and it’s great to see a restaurant in London accommodating for non drinkers. Additionally I talked like the spicy cauliflower starter. Whilst delicious it was not over powering with the spice which was nice. Overall would definitely return and would recommend for anyone visiting London.

Nice experience overall. They seemed to be low on service staff so payment took a while. But the £120 Beef Wellington for Two is worth a try. As are their tamarind chicken wings.

Nice place, but the price-to-value ratio is way off. £250 for a quick dinner for two, with pretty average food. There are Michelin star options throughout London at a similar price point which I would encourage you to go to instead

Move over Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey is in town! Disappointing food for the price. Don't bother with the sad ribeye. Comparable champagne is 20% cheaper at the nearby Madison rooftop, which gives you an idea of price gouge for the brand.

Great food and great service from Rakesh and Hal!! Will definitely come back!!

We went for the Sunday Roast, which was kindly gifted to us. There was a choice of roast beef or chicken, we both chose the beef. The restaurant itself was nothing to shout about, accessed through a shopping centre, with views of offices in the opposite building. The quality of the food was good, however, although the plate was full, it only had 2 slices of beef, which had gristle on the edge. The photo shows a massive Yorkshire pudding on top, which hides the fact that your plate was made up of mainly carrots and 3 roast potatoes. The horse radish cream was very mild and could have been a bit stronger. Overall, you can get far better roast dinners elsewhere for half the price.

Having seen some of the previous reviews I was a bit sceptical but the whole experience was VERY good. The waiting staff were very attentive and the food was lovely - 2 of us had the roast beef which was very nice and we asked for extra gravy which was also very tasty as was the horseradish cream. The waitress recommended the cheescake which was so light and absolutely divine. Yes it was expensive, but worth it and I think sometimes people expect too much when a celebrity chef is involved. Give it a try - we all loved it

Reservation made on the site for 9:15 p.m. Friday, arrival with loud music, place decorated in a quite nice way but ultimately the kitchen is closed!!! No “sides”, no pasta, no ribs… we are only offered the all-you-can-eat pizza formula at £20 per person and that’s it… obviously we left and found a gem right opposite, impeccable service, the “Burger and lobster”

I think it's an unstylish, crappy place - moreover, you can see the savings in all the equipment, starting with the fact that our table was more for 1 than for 2. We wanted to eat a good Fish&Chips, we were told at the door that the best in London are available here. Well, the insides of quite a few French fries were completely raw, crunching under our teeth, some of the fish's fur was dripping with oil - pathetic and disappointing (especially since a few days later we bought much better quality F&C from a corner street vendor). The waiter was attentive until we got the food, he didn't come towards us again, no matter how I signaled to him that we should eat something else - I should add that the other waiters didn't even bother with us, we were only able to pay because we finally went to an employee to pay. The place is an overpriced, poor quality, lousy service brewery, not a restaurant.

A birthday treat for my husband. We booked the pod! It was so good. The staff were lovely and the food plentiful and heavenly. A wonderful dining experience. My husband was very happy...and so was I. Loved it .😊

We had a reservation through the Virgin Experience voucher and were seated in the pod. The food was delicious and served in very generous portions. It consisted of four courses: cold starters, warm starters, a main dish, and a selection of desserts. I cannot pick my favourite because we loved everything. The drinks were nice too.

Big fan of Hell’s Kitchen and wanted to try the “Beef Welly”. Didn’t disappoint. Was excellent. The mushroom and beef together was amazing(no pork for those wondering). I believe Gordon’ name is just on the restaurant and it’s owned by a hospitality group. So far our favorite meal in London

This is not what you expect when you order a £44 rib-eye steak. In addition to the very poor presentation, the service was very slow (1h30min waiting for our mains after the starters plates were collected). In the end they did apologise for the delay. Apparently some VIP was having lunch there with their family and they had to prioritize that table. I can cook a better steak at home, with better presentation as well. They did offer a discount in the bill after apologizing.

Wow... I am lost for words, as this was one of the most magnificent, wonderous, whimsical dining experiences I've ever participated in. My fiancé and I had the set 4-course menu in the pod, served by a polite and charming young Gentleman called Omar. Each course (literally) bought something new to the table, with a concerto of colours, textures and flavours. My only regret? That I can't leave a 6-star review. My fiancé and I will 100% be visiting again to try some more breath-taking food at the Bread Street Kitchen & Bar @ St Paul's! 🍾

Coffee was good and I had ricotta pancakes with honey for breakfast. I was expecting the dish to be very sweet, but it was very balanced. Service was good, a bit crowded around 8.30 am.

A good option for lunch. I had the fish and chips, crispy fish placed on top of crispy chips equals soft chips, stop it.. good ambience and service..

Very nice setting, and well eaten. A little expensive, in the end, but we know that we are also paying for the setting and the name of the restaurant. Located on the first floor, two possible entrances, via the small shopping center, or via the pizzeria of the same name. Efficient service. More cozy atmosphere in the evening, thanks to the lighting. A musical background that we really liked, at a correct volume.

Went in September and we are having a couple day stop over in England on a trip this year just to go again. Sticky toffee pudding comes straight from heaven itself. The Beef Wellington and mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. If you’re in London, it is an absolutely must to stop in. The walk to the restaurant is full of beautiful sights (like St Paul’s) and the staff are absolutely lovely. Thought it might be a little overhyped with how famous Gordon has become but this is superb food all around. Received a gift certificate for my birthday and it was a very easy process to purchase this online. Well done Bread Street Kitchen!

You fooled us, Gordon! Bravo! Poor service. Warm cocktails. Completely basic menu, featuring food you can get literally anywhere. This would have been fine if the food was somehow elevated or inventive—or at least good! Unfortunately, it wasn't. The venison sausage my wife ordered was so over-seasoned it was inedible. I faired a little better with my butter chicken, but even this dish was basic at best. I've had better at my local grocer—no hyperbole—but for one-fifth the price. As for that famous Gordon Ramsay Burger? Save yourself and go to Five Guys. The poor gentleman next to us who ordered one had a terrible time eating it. But there were also several things this evening that were unforgivable in any restaurant, let alone a GR restaurant that purports to be a step above, or somehow redefining what great dining can be (and certainly the prices were a step above!). The first thing was ... the warm martini! Ugh. Getting served a warm martini is one thing, but what was truly unforgivable was the waiter telling my wife: "This is how they do it." *unhappy face* Wait! It gets worse. Arguing! Not only did the waiter try to defend the warm martini, but when my wife requested a new one, the bartender refused to make it. Instead, he made her wait twenty minutes while he "chilled" her cocktail in the freezer. He also appeared strangely proud of his solution, despite making her wait, and despite the fact that chilling it this way wouldn't address its improper dilution. The bartender was all smiles. We weren't. I did, however, take heart at seeing how empty the restaurant was! At 7pm on this Saturday night, the restaurant was one-third full, at best, and I was gladdened to see that London was already wise to how terrible this place was. I would have been thoroughly distressed it it had been full of unsuspecting patrons. Well, Gordon, you fooled us! After all these years of watching you yell at and browbeat young chefs, you had us believing you were a person of standards, a person with a passion for food, striving to redefine what dining can be. Turns out, you're just another shill.

Sadly the service was very disappointing. Despite letting them know that the service was not good there was still no improvement until speaking to the manager the 3rd time. They did try to make it up to us by reducing the bill, but it was overall a very disappointing experience.

Food was a bit disappointing. We expect more for a Ramsay restaurant. Bread was burnt and we sent it back. Fries were cold with the steak (at £7.5). Staff was not as attentive as at street burger by Gordon Ramsay. We won't be returning anytime soon.

Didn’t like how it wasn’t busy in there and the guy in the front told us there was a 1 hour wait even though it didn’t look busy AT ALL. Then I went online and booked a reservation for a slot that was 630pm (I booked it at 620pm lol). And then they sat us right at my reservation time. What was that about!

We ordered a bottle of wine which I had to chase uk three time before it arrived which was after starters had been served. The lady who served it was very cold and unfriendly. She spilt some of the wine on the table whilst pouring. She apologised but made no effort to clear it up. I then asked our waitress to wipe our table and she came back with some serviettes and handed it to me to do myself. I had to suggest that maybe it was something she should do. I spent good money and expect much higher level of service

AVOID. Ordered a full English only to be told that they had no sausages and that I would have to have double other item. Poached eggs were fridge cold. Not worth the premium - head for a greasy spoon if you fancy a decent breakfast.

Can I just say the food was AMAZING! The service was flawless. GG, made our night seamless from beginning to end. This was a wonderful dining experience and we will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere at this place. We had a main course and dessert. The main course was great, the fish & chips were luxurious, the batter was amazing and the portion was huge, enough for two people. Butter chicken was more spicy, but the Indian food is. Desserts chocolate fondant and sticky toffee were both incredibly delicious. We are taking one star off the service because we were full and they walked around us for quite a long time and even though they knew it, they only brought our food after a long pause. Thank you for a nice evening and delicious food.

Had the beef wellington experience,food is perfect the portion is wayyyy too big . And the service is good ,Omar really took good care of us .Will definitely come back again ! Epic !!!

Is this really a Gordon Ramsay restaurant?Food not quality. Then when it comes to payment we had to pay more than the bill as me and my partner was informed that they had no change. So ended up paying service charge and extra. Would not recommend.

Good food, the portion is very generous

Right... I expected wonderful things, obviously, it's a GR restaurant. As a vegetarian my choices were limited, which is fine, I generally like food so im not going to cry about there not being 100 vege options. The vegie starter option however. My word. I can only describe it was water flavoured oily soup. Apparently it had cauliflower and hazelnuts in it, but where they were I am unsure. The main vegetarian offering was a poke bowl, which was essentially identical to the one I buy in lidl, but 10x the price. Pudding however was fabulous. I can't fault them in deserts, and they were baked to order, so had a wait but was well worth it. Ambiance of the restaurant was fairly flat. Service was OK. Definitely not what I'd expect at such a prestigious spot.

Last evening in London couldn’t have ended more perfectly! We kicked things off with two Mocktails 🍹 and two Cocktails 🍸, which were absolutely delightful. For starters, we shared a basket of bread and wagyu meatballs. Surprisingly, the meatballs were quite average for "wagyu"—not bad, but definitely not what you'd expect from such a premium label. As for the main dishes, we went for two dry-aged steaks 🥩 , and they were truly magnificent. The flavors were spot on, especially when paired with a delicious sauce (though it’s worth noting that the sauce came at an extra cost). The fries, while a little under-salted 🧂, rounded out the dish nicely—adding a touch more salt made the entire combination stunning. Alongside, we enjoyed a perfectly roasted cod and a Ramsey Burger, both of which were very impressive. It’s important to mention that ‘everything’ is à la carte here—nothing comes included. Even the fries and side dishes are charged separately, so the steak, for example, would have arrived on its own. The staff added to the experience with their attentive and friendly service, though there was a mix of attitudes—some seemed slightly unhappy, while others were a touch too intrusive. All in all, it was a great dining experience 🤩—delicious food in a lovely atmosphere, but it does come with a hefty price tag!

The menu did no show and GF, vegetarian options the waitress had to put little crosses against what my wife could eat. The lighting was so poor that the couple next to us had to use the torch own their phones to read the menu. Just very overpriced, even charging over £7 for a bottle of still or sparkling water, beef wellington for 2 people for £120!

Good atmosphere, good welcome, great food, good price but we had a problem with starters. Guys you have to inform your clients that the butter and olives that you put on the table its extra cost. We didn’t ask for it and you must know that in other countries these are free of charge( like Italy, Austria, Hungary and many more). It is not a problem to pay for them but just inform the client. It is rude to push up the bill for extra charge. In the end i will pay more for something that i don’t want.

I still think Bread St has the best Sunday roast in london, we have been coming for years and the standard is always good. I never had a bad roast here. However the prices have been going up quite steadily too! Fish and chips were good. But the menu has also slowly shrunk, they didn't have roast chicken today. they used to do Sunday brunch with English Breaksfast on the menu but they don't do that anymore. Their service was good as usual. I like that they have lots of space and it wasn't too noisy this Sunday

Very bad ventilation, our clothes smelled food for a day. It was quite expensive for the served products.

Quality of food was good, however being charged £7.25 for a bottle of still water is extortionate! Plus my wife is GF no mention on menu the waitress did mark on each item my wife could have but nowadays I would expect her to be offered a GF menu at this restaurant. Over priced meal compared to others we have had in London

Steaks were great. Quality of the meat was undoubtedly highest possible. Waiters were a little bit too present and visible, what is more one of them made a mistake serving us the wrong dish but they were very polite and made experience more pleasant

They really stack up a bunch of fees to inflate the price, which made the value for money off balance. The food was good but not worth the price paid. The staff and service were excellent, though.

Really warm welcome, professional staff with a nice vibe in the restaurant. Service was really good, just the rich speed and balance. Fab decor inside, inspiring and impressive. Definitely would recommend.

The food was delicious, service was great and team were very accommodating with our children in tow. The prices were elevated because it was new year eve!
